Background
A typical CSFB (Circuit Switched Fallback) service flow mainly includes a joint attachment, a location update, a calling (MO) CSFB flow, a called (MT) CSFB flow, and a detach flow. Currently, the multi-mode single-card Mobile terminal is a 4G (fourth Generation communication technology) multi-mode card, and the 4G multi-mode card selects the CSFB technology to implement voice call, and when the 4G multi-mode card is jointly attached to the network, an MME (Mobile management Entity) stores context information of the 4G multi-mode card. And when the MME fails and is reset, the context information of the 4G multimode card is lost. When the Mobile terminal has an incoming call, the MSC (Mobile Switching Center) sends a paging request to the MME, and the MME rejects the paging request because the context information of the Mobile terminal cannot be queried, resulting in a call failure.

Detailed Description
The following detailed description of embodiments of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the present invention, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
The context information reconstruction method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to a context information reconstruction system comprising a mobile terminal, an MME, an HSS (Home Subscriber Server) and an MSC/VLR (Visited Location register).
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for reconstructing context information, which when applied to an MME, may include the following steps:
step 11, after the fault occurs and the mobile switching center is reset, the MME sends a fault reset notification message to the mobile switching center MSC/visitor location register VLR, where the fault reset notification message carries a first international mobile subscriber identity IMSI, and the first IMSI is an IMSI currently stored by the mobile management entity MME and having an SGs interface association with the MSC/VLR.
When the MME fails and is reset, the MSC/VLR needs to be informed to restart, namely a failure reset informing message is sent to the MSC/VLR, and the MME can start a context information reconstruction process by adding the first IMSI in the failure reset informing message because the MME can lose part of the context information of the IMSI after the failure reset.
Specifically, the first IMSI is all IMSIs currently stored by the MME and associated with the MSC/VLR and having SGs interfaces, that is, all IMSIs for which context information is not lost.
And step 12, the MME receives a second IMSI returned by the MSC/VLR, wherein the second IMSI is an IMSI which is stored in the local of the MSC/VLR and is not contained in the first IMSI.
Even if the MME loses the context information of part of IMSIs after the failure reset, the MSC/VLR still keeps all the IMSIs which have SGs interface association with the MME and the MSC/VLR, and the MSC/VLR can compare the IMSI which is locally stored and has SGs interface association with the MME with the first IMSI, determine the second IMSI which loses the context information, and return the second IMSI to the MME.
Step 13, the MME acquires the tracking area List TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI.
Because the MME loses the context information of the second IMSI, the MME also loses the TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI. After determining the second IMSI whose context information has been lost, the MME may obtain, from the HSS, a TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI.
Step 14, the MME makes the mobile terminals within the TAI List initiate a joint location update request.
Step 15, the MME reestablishes context information for the second IMSI based on the joint location update request.
Since the context information of the IMSI corresponding to the mobile terminal can be re-established on the MME only when the mobile terminal performs the joint TA/LA (Tracking Area/Location Area) update procedure, the MME may enable the mobile terminal within the TAI List to initiate the joint Location update request, so as to reconstruct the context information for the second IMSI based on the joint Location update request.
As can be seen from steps 11 to 15, in the context information reestablishment method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, after a failure occurs and the context information is reset, the MME sends a failure reset notification message to the mobile switching center MSC/visitor location register VLR, adds the first IMSI having an SGs interface association with the MSC/VLR and being currently stored locally to the failure reset notification message, receives the second IMSI having lost context information returned by the MSC/VLR, obtains the tracking area List TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI, enables the mobile terminal within the range of the TAI List to initiate the combined location update request, and reestablishes the context information for the second IMSI based on the combined location update request. The MME can reconstruct the context information for the IMSI losing the context information in time after the fault reset occurs, the paging request sent by the MSC is prevented from being rejected by the MME due to the fact that the MME cannot inquire the context information when the mobile terminal receives an incoming call after the MME loses part of the IMSI context information due to the fault reset, the MME can inquire the IMSI context information when the paging request sent by the MSC is received, and the mobile terminal can be called successfully subsequently.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, before sending the failure reset notification information to the mobile switching center MSC/visitor location register VLR (i.e. step 11), the context information re-establishment method may further comprise the steps of:
step 10, when receiving the attach request message sent by the mobile terminal, the MME sends a location update request to the home subscriber server HSS, where the location update request includes an MME identifier, an IMSI corresponding to the mobile terminal, and a TAI List corresponding to the mobile terminal, so that the HSS establishes and stores a correspondence relationship among the MME identifier, the IMSI, and the TAI List.
And when the mobile terminal is started, starting a joint attachment process, namely sending an attachment request message to the MME. After receiving an attach request message sent by the mobile terminal, the MME sends a location update request including an MME identity and an IMSI corresponding to the mobile terminal to the HSS. The MME may add a TAI List allocated for the mobile terminal in the location update request, so that the HSS establishes and stores a correspondence relationship between the MME identifier, the IMSI, and the TAI List. When the context information of part of IMSI is lost due to fault reset, the MME can acquire the TAI List corresponding to the IMSI losing the context information from the HSS, so that the mobile terminal corresponding to the IMSI losing the context information in the range of the TAI List can initiate a joint location update request, the context information is rebuilt for the IMSI losing the context information based on the joint location update request, the phenomenon that the MME rejects the paging request sent by the MSC due to the fact that the MME cannot inquire the context information when the mobile terminal receives an incoming call after the MME loses the context information of part of IMSI due to fault reset is avoided, the MME can inquire the context information of the IMSI when the paging request sent by the MSC is received, and the mobile terminal can be called successfully subsequently.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, the obtaining the tracking area List TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI (i.e. step 13) may include the following steps:
step 131, the MME sends an inquiry request message carrying the second IMSI to the HSS.
Wherein, the query request message is used to query a TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI; the second IMSI may include a plurality of IMSIs. When the second IMSI includes a plurality of IMSIs, the MME may sequentially send an inquiry request message for inquiring the TAI List corresponding to each second IMSI.
Step 132, if the MME receives the query response message returned by the HSS, the TAI List carried in the query response message is acquired.
And the query response message is sent when the HSS determines that the MME corresponding to the second IMSI is the MME sending the query request message according to the correspondence among the locally stored MME identification, the IMSI and the TAI List.
Since the HSS establishes and stores the correspondence among the MME identifier, the IMSI, and the TAI List after step 10, when receiving the query request message carrying the second IMSI sent by the MME, the HSS may determine the MME identifier and the TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI according to the correspondence.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 4, the causing the mobile terminals within the TAI List to initiate the joint location update request (i.e., step 14) may include the following steps:
step 141, the MME sends, to the mobile terminal corresponding to the second IMSI in the TAI List range, a joint location update indication message for indicating the mobile terminal to initiate a joint location update request.
The joint location update indication message may be a paging request, a paging type parameter may be added to the paging request, and a value of the paging type parameter may be a value representing a location update recovery request type.
Note that, in this step, the MME does not necessarily send the paging request to the mobile terminal, and it does not necessarily represent that the mobile terminal is actually called.
In step 142, the MME receives a joint location update request sent by the mobile terminal.
And after receiving the joint location updating indication message sent by the MME, the mobile terminal sends a joint location updating request to the MME.
As shown in fig. 5, an embodiment of the present invention provides a context information reestablishing method, which when applied to an MSC/VLR, may include the following steps:
step 21, the MSC/VLR receives the fault reset notification message sent by the mobility management entity MME to obtain the first IMSI carried therein.
Step 22, the MSC/VLR determines a second IMSI according to the first IMSI and the IMSI currently stored by the MSC/VLR and associated with the MME having the SGs interface, where the second IMSI is an IMSI stored in the MSC/VLR and not included in the first IMSI.
Even if the MME loses the context information of part of IMSIs after the failure reset, the MSC/VLR still keeps the activation state of the SGs interfaces of the mobile terminals corresponding to the IMSIs, namely the MSC/VLR keeps all the IMSIs which have the SGs interface association relationship with the MME and the MSC/VLR. The MSC/VLR may compare the locally stored IMSI associated with the SGs interface of the MME with the first IMSI, determining a second IMSI for which context information has been lost.
Step 23, the MSC/VLR sends the second IMSI to the MME so that the MME reconstructs context information for the second IMSI.
After the MME is reset due to a failure, the MSC/VLR may determine, for the MME, the second IMSI of which the context information is lost based on the failure reset notification message including the first IMSI sent by the MME, so that the MME reconstructs a context for the second IMSI, thereby preventing the MME from rejecting a paging request sent by the MSC because the MME cannot inquire the context information when the mobile terminal receives an incoming call after the MME loses part of the context information of the IMSI due to the failure reset, ensuring that the MME can inquire the context information of the IMSI when the paging request sent by the MSC is received, and enabling the mobile terminal to be subsequently successfully called.
As shown in fig. 6, an embodiment of the present invention provides a context information reestablishing method, which when applied to an HSS, may include the following steps:
step 31, the HSS receives the query request message sent by the MME, and acquires the second IMSI carried therein.
In step 32, the HSS determines whether the MME corresponding to the second IMSI is an MME that sends the query request message according to the correspondence among the locally stored MME identifier, IMSI, and TAI List, if so, step 33 is executed, otherwise, step 34 is executed.
The corresponding relationship among the MME identifier, the IMSI, and the TAI List is established and stored by the HSS after the HSS receives the location update request sent by the MME during the joint attach of the mobile terminal corresponding to the second IMSI, that is, after the MME executes step 10, the HSS establishes and stores the location update request.
Step 33, the HSS determines the TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI according to the correspondence, and sends the query response message including the TAI List to the MME.
The HSS can determine the TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI for the MME and return the TAI List to the MME based on the inquiry request message which is sent by the MME and comprises the second IMSI and the corresponding relation among the MME identification, the IMSI and the TAI List which is established and stored in the combined attachment process after the mobile terminal is started, so that the MME can enable the mobile terminal in the range of the TAI List to initiate a combined position updating request and rebuild the context information for the second IMSI based on the combined position updating request, the paging request sent by the MSC can be rejected by the MME due to the fact that the context information cannot be inquired when the mobile terminal receives an incoming call after the MME loses part of the context information of the IMSI due to fault resetting, the MME can inquire the context information of the IMSI when the paging request sent by the MSC is received, and the mobile terminal can be called successfully subsequently.
In step 34, the HSS sends a query reject message to the MME.
The following briefly describes the context information reconstruction method provided by the present invention with reference to a specific embodiment.
The mobile terminal adopts a 4G (the 4Generation mobile communication technology, fourth-Generation communication technology) multimode card, and the 4G multimode card selects the CSFB technology to realize voice call. As shown in fig. 7, a specific process of the context information reconstruction method may include the following steps:
step 41, the mobile terminal (User Equipment, UE) sends an Attach Request message to the MME through the 4G multimode card.
And after the mobile terminal is started, starting a joint attachment process through the 4G multimode card, namely sending an Attach Request message to the MME. The parameter Attach Type indicates that this is a joint EPS (Evolved Packet System) Attach and IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber identity) Attach flow, and indicates that the UE has CS Fallback (Circuit Switched Fallback) capability.
In step 42, the MME sends to the HSS a location update request with the TAI list allocated by the MME for the 4G multimode card of the UE.
The location updating request further includes an MME identifier and IMSI corresponding to the 4G multimode card of the UE.
And step 43, after the location update is completed, the HSS establishes and stores the corresponding relationship among the IMSI, the MME identifier, and the TAI list.
In step 44, the MME sends an SGsAP-LOCATION-UPDATE-REQUEST message to the MSC/VLR.
The Location Update request message includes parameters such as a new LAI (Location Area identity), an IMSI of the 4G multimode card, an MME name (MME identifier), and a Location Update Type.
Step 45, the MSC/VLR stores the MME information and creates SGs interface association of IMSI corresponding to the UE under the MME.
The SGs is an interface between the MSC/VLR and the MME, and a joint attach function can be implemented through the interface. The MME establishes SGs interface association among the MME, the IMSI corresponding to the 4G multimode card and the MSC/VLR.
After that, the MSC/VLR will perform CS domain location update and send the TMSI and LAI corresponding to the 4G multimode card to the MME, so that the MME also establishes SGs interface association.
Step 46, the MSC/VLR initiates a 4G multi-mode card Location update procedure to the HLR (Home Location Register) according to the user information and the Location area information.
Step 47, the MSC/VLR returns the confirmation information to the MME.
Step 48, the MME sends Attach Accept message to the UE to complete the joint Attach.
In step 49, the MME stores the context information of the IMSI corresponding to the 4G multimode card.
And step 50, the MME is failed and reset, and context information containing the IMSI corresponding to the 4G multimode card is lost.
Step 51, the MME sends a failure reset notification message to the MSC/VLR, where the failure reset notification message carries a first IMSI, and the first IMSI is an IMSI currently stored by the MME and having an SGs interface association with the MSC/VLR.
Step 52, the MSC/VLR receives the fault reset notification message sent by the mobility management entity MME to obtain the first IMSI carried therein.
Step 53, the MSC/VLR determines a second IMSI according to the first IMSI and the IMSI currently stored by the MSC/VLR and associated with the MME having the SGs interface, where the second IMSI is an IMSI stored in the MSC/VLR and not included in the first IMSI.
Step 54, the MSC/VLR sends the second IMSI to the MME.
Step 55, the MME sends an inquiry request message carrying the second IMSI to the HSS.
And step 56, the HSS receives the query request message sent by the MME, and acquires the second IMSI carried therein.
In step 57, the HSS determines whether the MME corresponding to the second IMSI is the MME that sends the query request message according to the correspondence among the locally stored MME identifier, IMSI, and TAI List, if yes, step 58 is executed, otherwise step 58' is executed.
The correspondence among the MME id, IMSI, TAI List locally stored in the HSS is established and stored in step 43 by the HSS.
Step 58, the HSS determines a TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI according to the correspondence, and sends the query response message including the TAI List to the MME.
Step 58', the HSS sends a query reject message to the MME.
Step 59, the MME receives the query response message returned by the HSS, and then acquires the TAI List carried therein.
Step 60, the MME sends, to the UE corresponding to the second IMSI within the TAI List, a joint location update indication message for indicating the UE to initiate a joint location update request.
Step 61, the MME receives a joint location update request sent by the UE.
Step 62, reestablishing context information for the second IMSI based on the joint location update request.
Based on the same technical concept, as shown in fig. 8, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a mobility management entity MME, which may include:
the sending module 101 is configured to send a fault reset notification message to the mobile switching center MSC/visitor location register VLR after a fault occurs and the fault reset notification message carries a first international mobile subscriber identity IMSI, where the first IMSI is an IMSI which is currently stored by the mobility management entity MME and has an SGs interface association with the MSC/VLR.
And the receiving module 102 is configured to receive a second IMSI returned by the MSC/VLR, where the second IMSI is an IMSI stored locally in the MSC/VLR and not included in the first IMSI.
The obtaining module 103 is configured to obtain a tracking area List TAI List corresponding to the second IMSI.
