Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions of the present disclosure better understood, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It should be noted that the terms "first," "second," and the like in the description and claims of the present disclosure and in the above-described drawings are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It is to be understood that the data so used is interchangeable under appropriate circumstances such that the embodiments of the disclosure described herein are capable of operation in sequences other than those illustrated or otherwise described herein. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
The method for preloading multimedia resources provided by the present disclosure may be applied to the architectures shown in fig. 1 to 4, and is specifically described in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 4.
Fig. 1 is an architecture diagram illustrating preloading of multimedia assets, according to an exemplary embodiment.
As shown in fig. 1, the architecture diagram may include at least one electronic device 10 of a client and a server 11 of a server. The server 11 may establish a connection with the electronic device 10 of at least one user through a network such as a core network or a local area network and perform information interaction. The electronic device 10 may be a device with a communication function, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, and an all-in-one machine, or may be a device simulated by a virtual machine or a simulator. The server 11 may be a device having storage and computing functions, such as a cloud server or a server cluster.
Based on the above architecture, a user may start a playing application or a player of a multimedia resource through the electronic device 10, so that when the multimedia resource is played, the electronic device 10 receives a playing instruction of the user for the multimedia resource, where the playing instruction of the multimedia resource in the embodiment of the present disclosure may include an instruction to start the playing application of the multimedia resource, an instruction to switch the multimedia resource, or an instruction to refresh the multimedia resource. That is, as shown in fig. 2, after the multimedia resource playing application is started, the multimedia resource, such as the multimedia resource X, is directly played without direct operation by the user (or, when the electronic device is started, the multimedia resource playing application is triggered to be started). Or, the multimedia resource playing instruction selected by the user is an instruction for switching the multimedia resource according to the selection of the user, that is, as shown in fig. 3, after the multimedia resource playing application program is started, an operation of selecting a certain multimedia resource, such as multimedia resource 1, in the multimedia resource playing application program to play is performed, and in the process of playing multimedia resource 1, multimedia resource 2 and multimedia resource 3 are preloaded.
Thus, in response to the play instruction of the multimedia resource, the electronic device 10 sends a multimedia resource acquisition request to the server 11, where the multimedia resource acquisition request is used to request the server for the multimedia resource and the preloading policy configuration information of the multimedia resource. Thus, the server 11 transmits the feedback information to the electronic device 10 in response to the multimedia resource acquisition request. The electronic device 10 may obtain the first multimedia resource and the resource preloading configuration information according to the feedback information, where the resource preloading configuration information at least includes the second multimedia resources to be preloaded and a resource preloading policy for preloading each second multimedia resource.
Based on the method, the electronic equipment responds to the received multimedia resource playing instruction, and acquires a first multimedia resource corresponding to the multimedia resource playing instruction for playing; acquiring resource preloading configuration information according to the resource playing state of the first multimedia resource; the resource preloading configuration information at least comprises second multimedia resources to be preloaded and a resource preloading strategy for preloading each second multimedia resource; and according to the resource preloading strategy, preloading the corresponding second multimedia resource.
Therefore, when the first multimedia resource is played, the second multimedia resources to be watched by the user can be preloaded, the starting speed of the second multimedia resources to be played is ensured, the fluency and the sustainability of the sliding playing of the multimedia resources are improved, and the experience of the user in watching the multimedia resource content is improved.
The method for preloading multimedia resources according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is described in detail below with reference to fig. 4, which is specifically shown as follows.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a preloading method of multimedia resources according to an exemplary embodiment.
As shown in fig. 4, the method for preloading multimedia resources may specifically include the following steps:
first, in step 410, in response to the received multimedia resource playing instruction, a first multimedia resource corresponding to the multimedia resource playing instruction is obtained for playing.
Secondly, step 420, acquiring resource preloading configuration information according to the resource playing state of the first multimedia resource; the resource preloading configuration information at least comprises second multimedia resources to be preloaded and a resource preloading strategy for preloading each second multimedia resource.
Then, step 430, according to the resource preloading policy, the corresponding second multimedia resource is preloaded.
The above steps are described in detail below, specifically as follows:
first, referring to step 410, a manner for determining a first multimedia resource and resource preloading configuration information is provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, that is, step 410 may specifically include:
responding to the received multimedia resource playing instruction, sending a multimedia resource acquisition request to a server, wherein the multimedia resource acquisition request is used for requesting multimedia resources and a resource preloading strategy performed by the multimedia resources from the server;
receiving feedback information sent by a server, and acquiring first multimedia resources and resource preloading configuration information according to the feedback information, wherein the resource preloading configuration information at least comprises second multimedia resources to be preloaded and a resource preloading strategy for preloading each second multimedia resource.
Therefore, the electronic equipment can send the resource playing state of the current first multimedia resource of the user to the server, and the server determines the multimedia resource playing instruction corresponding to the user according to the resource playing state of the first multimedia resource. Because the multimedia resource playing instructions issued are different in different playing environments, the electronic device can dynamically preload the corresponding second multimedia resource in different playing environments.
Here, the resource preloading configuration information may be obtained from the server each time the user starts an application program of the multimedia resource, and thus, the resource preloading configuration information may be dynamically updated according to a state of the electronic device playing the first multimedia resource.
In addition, the embodiment of the present disclosure provides another way to determine the first multimedia resource and the resource preloading configuration information, that is, the step 410 may specifically include:
the electronic device may pre-store resource preloading configuration information of different resource playing states of a first multimedia resource, and when a user selects the first multimedia resource from a multimedia play list, determine the pre-stored resource preloading configuration information corresponding to the first multimedia resource according to a current resource playing state of the first multimedia resource.
Secondly, step 420 is involved, in one embodiment, the resource preloading policy includes indication information for indicating the electronic device to preload a preset number of second multimedia resources; or the indication information is used for indicating the electronic equipment to pre-load the second multimedia resource with the preset duration.
Based on the above, the corresponding second multimedia resource is preloaded according to the different resource playing states of the first multimedia resource and the corresponding indication information in the different resource playing states. Thus, the following possibilities may be specifically included in connection with step 430.
Here, in a case where the indication information is used to indicate that the electronic device preloads a preset number of second multimedia resources, the first possibility, the second possibility, and the third possibility may be implemented.
In a first possibility, the resource playing status of the first multimedia resource at least includes a network speed at which the first multimedia resource is loaded, and the indication information includes adjusting an original network threshold corresponding to the network speed to a preset network threshold when the network speed at which the electronic device loads the multimedia resource is greater than or equal to a first preset threshold.
Based on this, the step 430 may specifically include:
when the network speed of the electronic equipment for loading the multimedia resources is detected to be greater than or equal to a preset threshold value, adjusting an original network threshold value for preloading a second multimedia resource to be the preset network threshold value, wherein the preset network threshold value is smaller than the original network threshold value;
and pre-loading a preset number of second multimedia resources according to a preset network threshold value.
In one embodiment, the step of preloading the preset number of second multimedia resources according to the preset network threshold in advance when the preset number is the first target number may specifically include:
according to a preset network threshold value, pre-loading second multimedia resources with a first target quantity; wherein the first target number is less than an original preload number corresponding to an original network threshold.
Therefore, under the condition that the network bandwidth speed value is smaller than the preset or equal to the bandwidth speed threshold value, the network environment where the user is located is poor, therefore, under the condition that the user has available Wireless-Fidelity (wifi), the number of the obtained multimedia resources is more than that of a place with a good network environment, and the multimedia resources located in the former place are subjected to multiple rounds of preloading, so that sustainable watching contents are ensured under the condition of network jitter or network disconnection of the user.
In addition, according to the resource playing state of the first multimedia resource, the first multimedia resource is in the peak period, so that the policy can be adjusted according to the peak period, that is, the preloading is allowed under the WIFI, and only a small number (for example, 3) of second multimedia resource segments with a predetermined time length, for example, (3 seconds) of the second multimedia resource are loaded at the same time, so as to save the bandwidth.
A second possibility is that the resource playing status of the first multimedia resource at least includes a geographic location of the electronic device playing the first multimedia resource, and the indication information includes that, when the electronic device is located in the preset area, the original pre-loading amount of the pre-loaded second multimedia resource corresponding to the geographic location is adjusted to the second target amount.
Based on this, the step 430 may specifically include:
when the electronic equipment is detected to be in the preset area, pre-loading second multimedia resources of a second target quantity related to the multimedia content of the first multimedia resources; and the second target number is larger than the original preloading number of the preloading second multimedia resources corresponding to the geographic position.
Here, the preset area may be an area with a higher priority, such as a provincial area with a higher priority than a city area, or some provincial areas with a higher priority than other provincial areas. In this way, when the electronic device is detected to be in the provincial meeting area or the high-priority provincial meeting area, the second multimedia resources with the second target quantity are loaded in advance. In one embodiment, the indication information may further include that, when the network connection status of the electronic device is a preset type network connection, for example, WIFI, a third target number of second multimedia resources with a higher priority level among the second target number are preloaded.
Based on this, in the step of preloading a second target number of second multimedia resources associated with multimedia content of the first multimedia resource, the method may specifically include:
and when the network connection state of the electronic equipment is detected to be the preset type network connection, pre-loading second multimedia resources with third target quantity with higher priority in the second target quantity.
Therefore, different resource preloading strategies are set at different geographic positions, the resource preloading strategies corresponding to actual conditions can be configured according to actual conditions of different regions according to local conditions, and the starting speed of the multimedia resources to be played can be ensured. In a third possibility, the resource playing status of the first multimedia resource includes bandwidth information for acquiring resource preloading configuration information, and the indication information includes that the fourth target number of second multimedia resources are loaded when the network bandwidth of the electronic device is less than or equal to a second preset threshold.
Based on this, the step 430 may specifically include:
and when the network bandwidth of the electronic equipment is detected to be smaller than or equal to a second preset threshold value, pre-loading a fourth target number of second multimedia resources.
In one embodiment, the indication information may further include that the fifth target number of the second multimedia resources are preloaded when the network connection status of the electronic device is the preset type of network connection.
Based on this, the step of preloading the preset number of second multimedia resources according to the indication information may specifically include:
when the network connection state of the electronic equipment is detected to be the preset type network connection, pre-loading a fifth target number of second multimedia resources; wherein the fifth target number is less than the fourth target number.
Here, in the case that the indication information is used to indicate that the electronic device preloads the second multimedia resource for the preset duration, a fourth possibility may be implemented.
Therefore, under the condition that the connection state of the electronic equipment and the network is good, the mode of preloading the second multimedia resource to ensure the sliding fluency of the user becomes unnecessary, the electronic equipment and the network smoothly support rapid real-time video loading, the network threshold value triggered by preloading can be reduced under the condition that the network connection is poor due to network jitter and the like, and the preloading can be carried out only by a small amount to ensure the sliding fluency of the user.
In a fourth possibility, the resource playing status of the first multimedia resource at least includes a resource type of the first multimedia resource, and the indication information includes a target loading duration for preloading the second multimedia resource when the resource type of the first multimedia resource is used to represent that the multimedia content of the first multimedia resource and the multimedia content of the second multimedia resource are continuous.
Based on this, the step 430 may specifically include:
and when the resource type of the first multimedia resource is detected to be used for representing the continuity of the multimedia content of the first multimedia resource and the multimedia content of the second multimedia resource, the second multimedia resource with the target loading duration is loaded in advance.
In one embodiment, in a case that the indication information further includes a sixth target number for loading the second multimedia resources and a target loading duration of each second multimedia resource, the step of preloading the second multimedia resources with the target loading duration may specifically include:
and according to the target loading duration of each second multimedia resource, loading the sixth target number of second multimedia resources in advance.
In one embodiment, the indication information further includes a priority of preloading a sixth target number of second multimedia resources; and the target loading duration for preloading the sixth target number of second multimedia resources is reduced in sequence according to the priority.
Therefore, in the process of playing the first multimedia resource, the embodiment of the disclosure performs N-round preloading on the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each second multimedia resource of the plurality of second multimedia resources to be watched by the user; and the preset duration of each round of preloading is longer than the preset duration of the previous round of preloading. Therefore, a plurality of multimedia resources to be watched by the user can be preloaded, the starting speed of the multimedia resources to be played is ensured, and the experience of watching video contents of the user is improved while the fluency and the sustainability of the sliding playing of the multimedia resources are improved.
For example, when the first multimedia resource is an episode-type multimedia resource, since the user usually plays the works sequentially, under this condition, the content of the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in the next second multimedia resource of the currently played first multimedia resource can be preloaded in two rounds (for example, 20 seconds per round of loading) according to the resource preloading policy, so that the user can watch the multimedia resource for a long time as possible, the user can be ensured to read continuously, and meanwhile, the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in the next second multimedia resource can be loaded for a short time (for example, 3 seconds), and the smoothness between the user slides can be ensured.
Based on the above-mentioned pre-loading of the second multimedia resource only involves loading a preset number or a preset duration, the embodiment of the present disclosure provides a process of pre-loading the second multimedia resource specifically according to the preset number and/or the preset duration. The process of preloading a second multimedia resource provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, which can be executed by the electronic device 30 shown in fig. 1, is described in detail with reference to fig. 5 to 6, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In one embodiment, step 430 may specifically include step 4301, performing N-round preloading on the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each second multimedia resource according to the resource preloading policy; the preset time length of the X-th wheel preloading is longer than the preset time length of the X-1-th wheel preloading, X belongs to [2, N ], and N is an integer.
For example, as shown in fig. 5, the playlist includes a first preset playing multimedia asset a and M second multimedia assets B adjacent to the first multimedia asset a, where the M second multimedia assets B are arranged according to a playing order indicated in the asset preloading policy.
Based on this, a resource preloading strategy is utilized to perform 3 times of preloading on the multimedia resource segments with preset time duration in each second multimedia resource in the M second multimedia resources B, wherein, the preset time duration of the 1 st time of preloading is assumed to be 0-3 seconds, the preset time duration of the 2 nd time of preloading is greater than the preset time duration of the 1 st time of preloading, such as 0-5 seconds, and similarly, the preset time duration of the 3 rd time of preloading is greater than the preset time duration of the 2 nd time of preloading for 0-10 seconds.
In this way, when the user slides from the first multimedia resource a to the second multimedia resource B1 connected with the first multimedia resource a among the M second multimedia resources B, the play start speed of playing the second multimedia resource B1 can be ensured, and similarly, when the user slides from the second multimedia resource B1 to the second multimedia resource B2 connected with the second multimedia resource B1, the play start speed of playing the second multimedia resource B2 can also be ensured because the second multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each second multimedia resource B is preloaded, and so on, when the user performs a sliding operation, the play start speed of the multimedia resource to be played can be ensured, and the fluency of the sliding playing the multimedia resource can be improved.
In addition, in one possible embodiment provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the step 4301 may be described in detail with reference to at least one of the above possibilities, and specifically as follows:
and according to the first configuration parameter in the resource preloading strategy, performing N-round preloading on the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each second target multimedia resource. Wherein the first configuration parameter comprises at least one of the following parameters: definition of the second multimedia resource, resolution of the second multimedia resource, and multi-code rate of the second multimedia resource.
Therefore, the multimedia resources with higher definition, higher resolution or higher multi-code rate can be downloaded under the condition of good network environment. On the contrary, under the condition of poor network environment, the multimedia resources with lower definition, lower resolution or lower multi-code rate are downloaded. So that the downloaded multimedia resources can be preloaded at a later time.
It should be noted that the network environment referred to in the embodiments of the present disclosure is good (or better) generally refers to wifi environment and the possibility of better mobile data transmission, and the network environment is poor (or worse) generally refers to the possibility of worse mobile data transmission.
In another possible embodiment provided in this disclosure, referring to the above-mentioned fourth possibility, when the first multimedia asset is an episode-type multimedia asset, this step 4301 may specifically include:
selecting a second multimedia resource to be played connected with the first multimedia resource from a plurality of second multimedia resources; and performing N-round preloading on the segment of the multimedia resource with the preset duration in the second multimedia resource to be played by using a resource preloading strategy.
Based on the above multiple possibilities, the following describes in detail how to perform N-round preloading on the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in the second multimedia resource by using the resource preloading policy through two ways provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
In the first mode, the multimedia resource segments with the preset duration in the M second multimedia resources are preloaded for 1 round at the same time, and then N rounds are repeatedly executed, so that the multimedia resource segments with the preset duration in each second multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources are preloaded respectively.
The y-th round of preloading is carried out simultaneously on the multimedia resource segments with preset duration in each of the M second multimedia resources; and if the preloading of each second multimedia resource in the y-th round is finished, simultaneously performing the preloading of the y + 1-th round on the segment of the multimedia resource with the preset time length in each second target multimedia resource, wherein y belongs to [1, N-1].
It should be noted that the resource preloading strategy utilized by each round of preloading may be the same or different, and is not limited herein.
For example, as shown in fig. 6, there are M second multimedia resources, and a multimedia resource segment with a preset duration in each second target multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources is preloaded in the 1 st round at the same time, if the preloading of each second multimedia resource in the 1 st round is completed, the preloading of the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each second multimedia resource is performed in the 2 nd round at the same time, and the process is repeated until the preloading of each second multimedia resource in the N-1 th round is completed, and the preloading of the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each second multimedia resource is performed in the N th round at the same time.
It should be noted that, if the preset duration of the first round of preloading is 0 to 3 seconds, then the preset duration of the second round of preloading is longer than the preset duration of the 1 st round of preloading, for example, 0 to 5 seconds, until the nth round of pre-recording completes all the pre-loading of the second multimedia resource, and certainly, if the user selects that the pre-loaded second multimedia resource is not played, that is, the second multimedia resource slides through quickly, or selects that the second multimedia resource is played to half of the exit, then it is not necessary to completely load all the multimedia resources.
And in the second mode, sequentially performing 1 round of preloading on the multimedia resource segments with the preset time duration in each second multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources, and then repeatedly performing N rounds of preloading on the multimedia resource segments with the preset time duration in each second multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources.
Performing jth round of preloading on a multimedia resource segment with preset duration in the ith second multimedia resource; if the ith second multimedia resource finishes the preloading in the jth round, performing the preloading in the jth round on the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in the (i + 1) th second multimedia resource, wherein i belongs to [1, M-1], and j belongs to [1, N-1]; if the jth round of preloading is finished on the M second multimedia resources respectively, then the jth +1 round of preloading is carried out on the fragments of the multimedia resources with preset duration in the ith second multimedia resource; and if the i second multimedia resources are completely preloaded in the j +1 th round, respectively completing the j +1 th round preloading of the M second multimedia resources until the N round preloading of the M second multimedia resources is performed.
For example, as shown in fig. 7, there are M second multimedia resources, a 1 st round of pre-loading is performed on a multimedia resource segment with a preset time duration in a 1 st second multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources, if the 1 st round of pre-loading is completed on the 1 st second multimedia resource, the 1 st round of pre-loading is performed on a multimedia resource segment with a preset time duration in a 2 nd second multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources, and the process is repeated until the 1 st round of pre-loading is completed on the M-1 st multimedia resource, and then the 1 st round of pre-loading is performed on the multimedia resource segment with a preset time duration in the M second multimedia resource.
After the 1 st round of preloading is respectively completed on the M second multimedia resources, performing 2 nd round of preloading on a multimedia resource segment with a preset time length in the 1 st second multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources, and if the 2 nd round of preloading is completed on the 1 st second multimedia resource, performing 2 nd round of preloading on a multimedia resource segment with a preset time length in the 2 nd second multimedia resource of the M second multimedia resources, and repeating the steps until the j +1 th round of preloading is respectively completed on the M second multimedia resources until the N th round of preloading is performed on the M second multimedia resources.
Based on the above preloading manner, an embodiment of the present disclosure further provides a configuration format for preloading the second multimedia resource, where the configuration format may include at least one of the following: the method comprises the steps of preloading a timeout parameter, preloading a rate parameter, downloading if wifi exists, executing preloading after application cold start, preloading a bandwidth threshold, preloading an offset of a multimedia resource relative to a currently played first multimedia resource, a unit corresponding to the preloading size, the preloading size (total amount), the definition of the preloading multimedia resource, the resolution of the preloading multimedia resource, the multi-code rate of the preloading multimedia resource and the number of the preloading multimedia resource. In this way, bandwidth threshold configuration can be supported, pre-load rate limits can be supported, multiple download units (seconds, bytes) can be supported, and downloads of multimedia resources of different definitions can be supported.
In summary, in the process of playing the first multimedia resource, the embodiment of the present disclosure performs N-round preloading on the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each of the plurality of second multimedia resources to be viewed by the user, by using a dynamic resource preloading strategy; and the preset duration of each round of preloading is longer than the preset duration of the previous round of preloading. Therefore, a plurality of multimedia resources to be watched by the user can be preloaded, the starting speed of the multimedia resources to be played is ensured, and the experience of watching video contents of the user is improved while the fluency and the sustainability of the sliding playing of the multimedia resources are improved. It should be noted that, in one embodiment, before the step 4301 is executed, the method for preloading a multimedia resource may further include: step 4302, detecting whether the application program playing the first multimedia resource completes cold start. If step 4301 is performed after the application completes the cold start.
Therefore, on one hand, the peak stage of cold starting resource occupation is avoided, and on the other hand, the peak stage of resource occupation is avoided, so that the preloading speed can be improved, and a user can quickly see the content of the multimedia resource.
Based on the same inventive concept, the disclosure also provides a multimedia resource preloading method based on the server. This is explained in detail with reference to fig. 8.
As shown in fig. 8, the method for preloading multimedia resources applied to a server may include steps 810 to 830. Step 810, receiving a multimedia resource acquisition request sent by the electronic device.
Step 820, according to the multimedia resources, determining first multimedia resources to be played and resource preloading configuration information, wherein the resource preloading configuration information at least comprises second multimedia resources to be preloaded and resource preloading strategies for preloading each second multimedia resource.
Step 830, sending feedback information to the electronic device, where the feedback information includes a first multimedia resource to be played and resource preloading configuration information.
In order to facilitate understanding of the method for loading a multimedia resource provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the following may describe the method for loading a multimedia resource provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure with reference to the third possibility mentioned above.
As shown in fig. 9, in a specific embodiment, the method is applied to an electronic device and a server, the electronic device may support a floor framework such as PreloadSDK, and the method may include steps 901 to 907, which are specifically as follows:
in step 901, the electronic device receives a multimedia resource playing instruction.
In step 902, the electronic device sends a multimedia resource acquisition request to a server in response to the multimedia resource playing instruction, where the multimedia resource acquisition request is used to request the server for the multimedia resource and a resource preloading policy performed by the multimedia resource.
For example, the electronic device requests the PreloadConfig configuration associated with the PreloadSDK from the server.
Step 903, the server determines, according to the multimedia resource acquisition request and according to the multimedia resource, a first multimedia resource to be played and resource preloading configuration information, where the resource preloading configuration information at least includes a second multimedia resource to be preloaded and a resource preloading policy for preloading each second multimedia resource.
Step 904, the electronic device receives the feedback information sent by the server, and obtains the first multimedia resource and the resource preloading configuration information according to the feedback information, wherein the resource preloading configuration information at least comprises the second multimedia resources to be preloaded and the resource preloading strategy for preloading each second multimedia resource.
The multimedia resource management system comprises a first multimedia resource and M second multimedia resources adjacent to the first multimedia resource, wherein M is a positive integer.
For example, the M second multimedia resources are Feed-0 data stream, feed-1 data stream, feed-2 data stream, feed-3 data stream, feed-4 data stream, feed-5 data stream \8230 \ 8230and Feed-M-1 data stream. Here, a sliding-up multimedia resource playing container may be constructed through the recommended data stream under the PreloadSDK framework, so that the user may slide up and down the display interface to view different multimedia resources in a sliding manner. Here, feed contains data information for a user to view a multimedia asset, and a data structure related to the PreloadSDK architecture.
Step 905, the electronic device plays the first multimedia resource when detecting that the application program playing the first multimedia resource completes the cold start.
Here, after the fortid _ time of starting the application, the cold-start resource occupancy peak period of the user has been avoided, and step 906 may begin to be performed.
Step 906, the electronic device obtains resource preloading configuration information according to the resource playing state of the first multimedia resource, where the resource preloading configuration information at least includes a second multimedia resource to be preloaded and a resource preloading policy for preloading each second multimedia resource.
Step 907, pre-loading the corresponding second multimedia resource according to the resource pre-loading policy.
Specifically, performing N-round preloading on multimedia resource segments with preset duration in each second multimedia resource; the preset time length of the X-th wheel preloading is longer than the preset time length of the X-1-th wheel preloading, X belongs to [2, N ], and N is an integer.
The following preloading actions may be executed according to a play sequence indicated in the resource preloading policy (for example, the following multimedia resources are named for offsets of currently viewed first multimedia resources, where Feeds (position + 1) is a next multimedia resource of Feeds (position), feeds (position + 2) is a next multimedia resource, and Feeds (position-1) is a previous multimedia resource, and so on).
Firstly, a resource preloading strategy is utilized to perform preloading operation on a multimedia resource segment with a preset duration in a multimedia resource of Feeds (point + 1), wherein the preloading operation can comprise downloading the Feeds (point + 1) to a decodable size such as 1M, and then decoding the Feeds (point + 1), so that when the next multimedia resource is slid, the downloading and preloading time can be simultaneously omitted, and the play-starting speed of the next multimedia resource (the nearest possibly played content) is optimized in a maximum mode.
Then, it is determined whether the network bandwidth of the current electronic device is greater than a second preset threshold, such as only _ preload _ under _ speed.
And when the network bandwidth of the electronic equipment is detected to be greater than the second preset threshold, not performing subsequent preloading, wherein the reason is that the network bandwidth of the electronic equipment is sufficient, the fast start-up can be supported, and the preloading is not performed so as to save flow.
Otherwise, when it is detected that the network bandwidth of the electronic device is less than or equal to the second preset threshold, the fourth target number of second multimedia resources are preloaded. After the Feeds (position + 1) are preloaded, the multimedia resource segments with preset duration in the Feeds (position + 2) are preloaded according to the Config strategy in the resource preloading strategy, and 900000 bytes corresponding to 0-3s can be preloaded. And then, after the Feeds (position + 2) are loaded with 0-3s, starting to preload the multimedia resource segments in the Feeds (position + 3) for a preset time according to the Config strategy, for example, in a manner of preloading the Feeds (position + 2), similarly preloading 900000 bytes corresponding to 0-3 s. In this way, after 900000 bytes of the Feeds (position + 5) are loaded, the Feeds (position + 2) are preloaded again for the second round, the total loading size is 0-5s, and the process is repeated until the Feeds (position + 5) complete the preloading for the second round.
When the Feeds (position + 1) is subjected to preloading operation, the next multimedia resource of the user can be started at the highest speed, and other multimedia resources are not preloaded so as to ensure that the resources are not preempted, in the process, the Feeds (position + 2) -Feeds (position + 5) are subjected to 2 rounds of additional preloading, so that the user can be ensured to continuously watch in the viewable content below the user, and the user can be ensured to have content to watch under the condition of no network or weak network as far as possible.
Then, when the user slides up to the Feeds (position + 1) multimedia resource, the preloading sequence is updated, the position is updated, and the above dynamic preloading process, that is, the steps in steps 906 and 907, is restarted. Thus, when the user performs other operations such as pull-down refresh or pull-up load, the Feeds sequence may also be updated, the preload queue is updated again, the position is updated, and the dynamic preload process is restarted, that is, step 906.
Therefore, in the process of playing the first multimedia resource, according to the resource preloading strategy, the embodiment of the disclosure performs N rounds of preloading on the multimedia resource segment with the preset duration in each second multimedia resource of the plurality of second multimedia resources to be watched by the user; wherein the preset time length of each round of preloading is longer than the preset time length of the previous round of preloading. Therefore, a plurality of multimedia resources to be watched by the user can be preloaded, the starting speed of the multimedia resources to be played is ensured, the fluency and the sustainability of the sliding playing of the multimedia resources are improved, and the experience of the user in watching the multimedia resources is improved.
It should be noted that the application scenario described in the embodiment of the present disclosure is for more clearly illustrating the technical solution of the embodiment of the present disclosure, and does not constitute a limitation to the technical solution provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, and as a person of ordinary skill in the art may know, with the occurrence of a new application scenario, the technical solution provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure is also applicable to similar technical problems.
