本发明公开了一种终端能力的获取方法及装置、计算机存储介质，所述方法包括：第一接入网设备向第二接入网设备发送第一切换请求消息，所述第一切换请求消息中携带终端的第一UE能力标识信息(301)；如果所述第二接入网设备能识别所述终端的第一UE能力标识信息，所述第二接入网设备基于所述第一UE能力标识信息，确定所述终端的第一UE能力信息；如果所述第二接入网设备不能识别所述终端的第一UE能力标识信息，所述第二接入网设备从所述第一接入网设备获取第一UE能力信息。
