Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic device and an equalizer adjusting method thereof, and more particularly, to an electronic device capable of adjusting according to volume and an equalizer adjusting method thereof.
Background
An "Equalizer (EQ)" is a means for adjusting sound, which can adjust the gain value of sound of each frequency band. That is, the gain values of the sound (or audio file) at different frequencies may be adjusted, thereby changing the auditory effect produced by the output sound. For example, a blast sound presented with a heavy bass sound is more shocking and realistic. Therefore, the current equalizer is mainly used for adjusting the output sound effect. Most computers in the prior art also store application programs of the equalizer, so that users can enjoy music.
The gain setting for adjusting the equalizer is usually to adjust the gain of a frequency individually by the user, or to set a plurality of built-in modes, so that the user can directly select different modes to adjust the gain of a plurality of frequencies at one time, and the user can enjoy the music. Generally, users have different hearing levels for different frequencies, so that the gain values of some frequencies may be increased or decreased to achieve the best hearing effect. However, when adjusting the volume, all frequencies are synchronously adjusted to be loud or loud, and no consideration is given to the auditory effect, so the frequencies with the adjusted gain value may have too loud or too loud problem, and the user needs to adjust the gain value again. It is very troublesome for the user.

To achieve the above object, the electronic device of the present invention includes an equalizer, a gain setting module, a storage module, and an equalizer adjustment module. The gain value setting module is used for setting a volume gain value list, the volume gain value list comprises a plurality of volume values which are respectively a first volume value to an Nth volume value, the volume represented by the first volume value to the Nth volume value is increased, each volume value comprises a group of correction parameters, and the group of correction parameters comprises a plurality of compensation gain values which respectively correspond to a plurality of target frequencies. The storage module is electrically connected with the gain value setting module and is used for storing the volume gain value list. The equalizer adjusting module comprises a volume detecting unit, a parameter searching unit and a parameter setting unit. The volume detection unit is used for obtaining a volume signal. The parameter searching unit obtains the corresponding set of correction parameters according to the volume signal. The parameter setting unit adjusts the equalizer setting for gain values of the sound at different frequencies based on the set of modified parameters.

To better understand the technical content of the present invention, preferred embodiments are specifically illustrated as follows.
Referring to fig. 1, an architecture of an electronic device according to the invention is shown.
In the present embodiment of the invention, the electronic device 1 may be, for example, but not limited to, a notebook computer, a tablet computer, a smart phone, or other electronic devices with computing and processing functions. A sound playing device (spaker) having a central processing unit, or other processor, for example, may also be used as the electronic device 1 of the present embodiment. The electronic device 1 includes an equalizer 11, a gain setting module 20, a storage module 30, an equalizer adjustment module 40, and the like. An equalizer 11 is provided within the audio processing module 10. Specifically, the audio processing module 10 may store software of the equalizer 11, or firmware provided with the equalizer 11, or a combination thereof, so that the equalizer 11 is provided in the audio processing module 10. By adjusting the gain value setting of the equalizer 11, the gain values of the sound output by the audio processing module 10 at different frequencies can be adjusted. For example, if the gain value of 100hz (specified frequency) is increased to 10dB, the volume of the output sound at 100hz can be increased by 10 dB. Since the equalizer 11 is a conventional sound output adjusting tool, the structure and principle thereof are well known to those skilled in the art, and thus will not be described herein again.
The gain setting module 20 is used to set the volume gain value list 31 stored in the storage module 30. The volume gain value list 31 may be a default gain value of the gain value setting module 20, or may be set or adjusted by the user using the gain value setting module 20. The volume gain value list 31 may include a plurality of volume values, each of which is a first volume value to an nth volume value, and the volume represented by the first volume value to the nth volume value is gradually increased. Each of the volume values includes a set of modification parameters including a plurality of compensation gain values corresponding to a plurality of target frequencies, respectively. When the volume is smaller, the gain setting module 20 increases the volume of the low frequency sound and decreases the volume of the high frequency sound. As shown in the following table:

the volume gain value list 31 includes volume values from the first volume value to the nth volume value from small to large, such as represented by volume scales 0 to 10 of the electronic device 1, where volume scale 0 is the minimum sound, i.e., the first volume value, and volume scale 10 is the maximum sound, i.e., the nth volume value. Therefore, in this embodiment, the first volume value to the nth volume value may represent 11 volumes with different magnitudes of the electronic device 1, and each volume value and the frequencies 100Hz, 1KHz, and 10KHz have corresponding compensation gain values. The volume gain table 31 shows that the compensation gain values are between-10 and 10, so that it is possible to increase or decrease the volume of a certain frequency. When the target frequencies are less than or equal to 100Hz, the compensation gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between 0 and 10. When the target frequencies are larger than or equal to 10KHz, the compensation gain values are between-10 and 0, and the compensation gain value with the target frequency of 1KHz is not adjusted. It should be noted that the compensation gain values in the volume gain value list 31 are only for illustration, and the present invention is not limited to adjusting frequencies of 100Hz, 1KHz, and 10KHz, and the target frequency less than 100Hz may be adjusted synchronously or the target frequency greater than 10KHz may be adjusted synchronously, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In addition, the volume gain value list 31 may be configured to set only some volume values, for example, to set the compensation gain values only for the frequencies of the maximum volume value, the minimum volume value and the middle volume value, and the compensation gain values of the rest volume values are calculated by interpolation.
The storage module 30 may be a fixed or removable non-transitory computer readable storage medium, including but not limited to Random Access Memory (RAM), read-only memory (ROM), flash memory, optical disk, or other similar devices, or a combination thereof, or an analog circuit design. The storage module 30 stores the volume gain value list 31 set by the gain value setting module 20. The equalizer adjustment module 40 is electrically connected to the storage module 30 and the equalizer 11. The equalizer adjusting module 40 includes a volume detecting unit 41, a parameter searching unit 42, and a parameter setting unit 43. The volume detecting unit 41 is used for acquiring a volume signal of the electronic device 1. In an embodiment of the invention, the volume detecting unit 41 directly detects a current volume scale of the electronic device 1 to obtain the volume signal, but the invention is not limited thereto.
The parameter searching unit 42 reads the volume gain value list 31 according to the volume signal to obtain the corresponding set of correction parameters. Finally, the parameter setting unit 43 is used to adjust the setting of the equalizer 11 for the gain values of the sound at different frequencies according to the set of modified parameters obtained by the parameter searching unit 42.
It should be noted that, the modules of the electronic device 1 may be configured by hardware devices, software programs combined with hardware devices, firmware combined with hardware devices, etc., for example, a computer program product may be stored in a computer readable medium to be read and executed to achieve the functions of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned manner. In addition, the present embodiment only illustrates the preferred embodiments of the present invention, and all possible combinations and modifications are not described in detail to avoid redundancy. However, one of ordinary skill in the art should appreciate that each of the above modules or elements is not necessarily required. And that other, more detailed, existing modules or elements may be included to practice the invention. Each module or component may be omitted or modified as desired, and no other module or component may necessarily exist between any two modules.
Referring to fig. 2, a flowchart of the equalizer adjustment method according to the present invention is shown. It should be noted that, although the equalizer adjusting method of the present invention is described below by taking the electronic apparatus 1 as an example, the equalizer adjusting method of the present invention is not limited to the electronic apparatus 1 having the same configuration as described above.
Step 201 is performed first: a volume gain value list is set through the gain value setting module.
First, the gain setting module 20 is used to set the volume gain list 31 stored in the storage module 30, and the volume gain list 31 may be a default gain value of the electronic device 1, or may be set or adjusted by the user using the gain setting module 20, which is not limited thereto. The volume gain value list 31 includes a plurality of volume values, each of which is a first volume value to an nth volume value, and the volume represented by the first volume value to the nth volume section is gradually increased, each of the volume sections includes a set of correction parameters, and the set of correction parameters includes a plurality of compensation gain values corresponding to a plurality of target frequencies, respectively.
Then, step 202 is performed: the volume gain value list is stored in the storage module.
Then, the volume gain value list 31 set by the storage gain value setting module 20 is stored in the storage module 30.
Step 203 is performed: a volume signal is obtained.
The volume detecting unit 41 is then used to obtain the volume signal of the electronic device 1. In an embodiment of the invention, the volume detecting unit 41 directly detects a current volume scale of the electronic device 1 to obtain the volume signal, but the invention is not limited thereto.
And then step 204 is carried out: reading the volume gain value list according to the volume signal to obtain the corresponding set of correction parameters.

Finally, step 205 is performed: the equalizer is adjusted by the equalizer adjustment module with respect to the gain setting of the sound at the different frequencies based on the set of modified parameters.
Finally, the parameter setting unit 43 is used to adjust the setting of the equalizer 11 for the gain values of the sound at different frequencies according to the set of modified parameters obtained by the parameter searching unit 42.
It should be noted that the equalizer adjusting method of the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned sequence of steps, and the sequence of steps can be changed as long as the object of the present invention is achieved.
As is apparent from the above description, according to the above embodiment, the electronic apparatus 1 can know how to adjust the setting of the equalizer 11 according to the current sound volume, and therefore, the equalizer 11 changes the gain value of each frequency band simultaneously with the adjustment of the sound volume by the electronic apparatus 1.
The present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit or essential attributes thereof, and it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be effected therein by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.

Claims (13)

1. A method for adjusting equalizer based on volume is applied to an electronic device, which is characterized in that the electronic device comprises an equalizer, a gain value setting module, a storage module and an equalizer adjusting module; the equalizer adjustment method further comprises the following steps:
setting a volume gain value list through the gain value setting module, wherein the volume gain value list comprises a plurality of volume values which are respectively a first volume value to an Nth volume value, the volume represented by the first volume value to the Nth volume value is gradually increased, each volume value comprises a group of correction parameters, and the group of correction parameters comprises a plurality of compensation gain values which respectively correspond to a plurality of target frequencies;
storing the volume gain value list in the storage module;
obtaining a volume signal;
reading the volume gain value list according to the volume signal to obtain the corresponding group of correction parameters; and
the equalizer is adjusted by the equalizer adjustment module with respect to the gain setting of the sound at the different frequencies based on the set of modified parameters.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprising the step of detecting a volume scale of the electronic device to obtain the volume signal.
3. The method of equalizer adjustment according to volume of claim 2, further comprising the steps of:
setting the set of correction parameters of a maximum volume value, a minimum volume value and an intermediate volume value; and
the set of correction parameters for the remaining volume values is calculated using an interpolation.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein the compensation gain values are between-10 and 10.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein the compensation gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between-10 and 0 when the target frequencies are greater than or equal to 10 kHz.
6. The method of claim 4, wherein the compensation gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between 0 and 10 when the target frequencies are less than or equal to 100 Hz.
7. An electronic device, comprising:
an equalizer;
a gain value setting module for setting a volume gain value list, wherein the volume gain value list comprises a plurality of volume values, the volume values are respectively a first volume value to an Nth volume value, the volume represented by the first volume value to the Nth volume value is gradually increased, each volume value comprises a group of correction parameters, and the group of correction parameters comprises a plurality of compensation gain values to respectively correspond to a plurality of target frequencies;
a storage module, electrically connected to the gain value setting module, for storing the volume gain value list; and
an equalizer adjustment module electrically connected to the storage module and the equalizer, the equalizer adjustment module comprising:
a volume detecting unit for obtaining a volume signal;
a parameter searching unit for obtaining the corresponding correction parameters according to the volume signal; and
a parameter setting unit for adjusting the setting of the equalizer for the gain values of the sound at different frequencies according to the set of modified parameters.
8. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the volume detecting unit is configured to detect the volume signal according to a current volume scale of the electronic device.
9. The electronic device of claim 8, wherein the gain setting module is configured to set the set of modification parameters for a maximum volume value, a minimum volume value, and an intermediate volume value, and then calculate the set of modification parameters for the remaining volume values by an interpolation method.
10. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the compensation gain values are between-10 and 10.
11. The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the compensation gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between-10 and 0 when the target frequencies are greater than or equal to 10 kHz.
12. The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the compensation gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between 0 and 10 when the target frequencies are less than or equal to 100 Hz.
