Abstract

An electronic device and an equalizer adjusting method thereof are provided. The method comprises the following steps: storing an age gain value list, wherein the age gain value list comprises a plurality of age sections, namely a first age section to an Nth age section with increasing ages, each age section comprises a group of correction parameters, the group of correction parameters comprises a plurality of compensation gain values so as to respectively correspond to a plurality of target frequencies, and the compensation gain value in the same target frequency is increased along with the increase of N; acquiring age data of a user; acquiring a target age zone according to the age data, wherein the target age zone is one of the age zones; obtaining the corresponding set of correction parameters according to the target age zone; and adjusting the gain setting of the equalizer for the sound at different frequencies according to the set of correction parameters.

Electronic device and equalizer adjusting method thereof
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic device and an equalizer adjusting method thereof, and more particularly, to an electronic device capable of adjusting according to age and an equalizer adjusting method thereof.
Background
An "Equalizer (EQ)" is a means for adjusting sound, which can adjust the gain value of sound of each frequency band. That is, the gain of the sound (or audio file) at different frequencies can be adjusted, thereby changing the auditory effect produced by the output sound. For example, a blast sound presented with a heavy bass sound is more shocking and realistic. Therefore, the current equalizer is mainly used for adjusting the output sound effect. Most computers currently store the application programs of the equalizer, so that users can enjoy the music.
The gain setting of the equalizer is usually adjusted by the user individually, or a plurality of modes are built in, so that the user can directly select different modes to adjust the gain of a plurality of frequencies at one time, and the gain setting can be used for entertainment when the user listens to music. However, for users of different ages, the hearing degrees of different frequencies are different, and there is no mode for adjusting the gain value according to the age of the user.
Therefore, it is necessary to provide a new electronic device and an equalizer adjusting method thereof to solve the deficiencies of the prior art.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to an equalizer adjusting method, which can adjust the equalizer according to the age of the user.
Another main object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device for use in the above method.
To achieve the above object, the electronic device of the present invention includes an equalizer, a storage module, and an equalizer adjustment module. The storage module stores an age gain value list, wherein the age gain value list comprises a plurality of age sections, namely a first age section to an Nth age section, the ages represented by the first age section to the Nth age section are gradually increased, each age section comprises a group of correction parameters, the group of correction parameters comprises a plurality of compensation gain values so as to respectively correspond to a plurality of target frequencies, and the compensation gain value of the same target frequency is increased along with the increase of N. The equalizer adjustment module is electrically connected with the storage module and the equalizer. The equalizer adjustment module comprises an age data acquisition unit, a parameter searching unit and a parameter setting unit. The age data acquisition unit is used for acquiring the age data of the user. The parameter searching unit obtains a target age zone according to the age data, wherein the target age zone is one of the age zones, and the parameter searching unit obtains the corresponding set of correction parameters according to the target age zone. The parameter setting unit adjusts the equalizer to set the gain value of the sound at different frequencies according to the set of correction parameters.

To better understand the technical content of the present invention, preferred embodiments are specifically illustrated as follows.
Please refer to fig. 1, which is a block diagram of an electronic device according to the present invention.
In the present embodiment of the invention, the electronic device 1 may be, for example, but not limited to, a notebook computer, a tablet computer, a smart phone, or other electronic devices with a computing function. For example, a sound playing device (spaker) having a central processing unit or other processors may also be used as the electronic device 1 of the present embodiment. The electronic device 1 includes an equalizer 11, a storage module 20, an equalizer adjustment module 30, and the like. The equalizer 11 is disposed in the audio processing module 10. Specifically, the audio processing module 10 may store software of the equalizer 11, firmware provided with the equalizer 11, or a combination thereof, so that the equalizer 11 is provided in the audio processing module 10. By adjusting the gain setting of the equalizer 11, the gain of the audio processing module 10 at different frequencies can be adjusted. For example, if the gain value of 500hz (specified frequency) is increased to 5dB, the volume of the output sound at 500hz can be increased by 5 dB. Since the equalizer 11 is a conventional sound output adjusting tool, the structure and principle thereof are well known to those skilled in the art, and thus will not be described herein again.
The storage module 20 may be a fixed or removable non-transitory computer readable storage medium, including but not limited to Random Access Memory (RAM), read-only memory (ROM), flash memory, optical disk, or the like, or a combination thereof. The storage module 20 stores an age gain value list 21, where the age gain value list 21 includes a plurality of age sections, each of which is a first age section to an nth age section, and the ages represented by the first age section to the nth age section are gradually increased, each age section includes a set of correction parameters, and the set of correction parameters includes a plurality of compensation gain values respectively corresponding to a plurality of target frequencies, and the compensation gain values of the same target frequency are increased as N is larger. The age gain value list 21 includes age sections from 5 to 29 years old to 70 to 90 years old, each of which has a compensation gain value corresponding to frequencies of 250Hz, 500Hz, 1KHz, 2KHz, 4KHz, 8KHz, 12.5KHz and 16 KHz. And the age gain table 21 shows that the compensation gain values are between 1.5 and 15. When the target frequencies are between 250Hz to 2KHz, the compensation gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between 1.5 to 4. And wherein when the target frequencies are greater than 4KHz, the compensation gain values increase to between 1.7 and 12. It should be noted that the compensation gain values in the age gain value list 21 are only for illustration, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
The equalizer adjustment module 30 is electrically connected to the storage module 20 and the equalizer 11. The equalizer adjusting module 30 includes an age data obtaining unit 31, a parameter searching unit 32, and a parameter setting unit 33. The age data acquiring unit 31 is used for acquiring an age data of a user. In an embodiment of the invention, the electronic device 1 further includes a display module 41 and an input module 42. The display module 41 is used for displaying an image frame, and may be a general display screen or a touch display screen. If the display module 41 is a touch display screen, the display module 41 and the input module 42 may be an integrated structure. In addition, the input module 42 may also be an input device such as a mouse or a keyboard, and the invention is not limited thereto. The display module 41 is electrically connected to the equalizer adjusting module 30, and the age data obtaining unit 31 provides an age input interface to the display module 41. The input module 42 is electrically connected to the equalizer adjustment module 30. After the display module 41 displays the age input interface, the user can input the age through the input module 42, and the age data obtaining unit 31 can receive the age data of the user from the input module 42. The parameter lookup unit 32 is configured to obtain a target age zone according to the age data, where the target age zone is one of the age zones listed in the age gain value list 21. In this way, the parameter searching unit 32 obtains the corresponding set of correction parameters according to the target age segment. Finally, the parameter setting unit 33 is used to adjust the gain setting of the equalizer 11 for the sound at different frequencies according to the set of modified parameters obtained by the parameter searching unit 32.
It should be noted that, the modules of the electronic device 1 may be configured by hardware devices, software programs combined with hardware devices, firmware combined with hardware devices, etc., for example, a computer program product may be stored in a computer readable medium and read and executed to achieve the functions of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned manner. In addition, the present embodiment only illustrates the preferred embodiments of the present invention, and all possible combinations and modifications are not described in detail to avoid redundancy. However, one of ordinary skill in the art should appreciate that each of the above modules or elements is not necessarily required. And may include other existing modules or components in greater detail for practicing the invention. Each module or component may be omitted or modified as desired, and no other module or component may necessarily exist between any two modules.

It should be noted that, although the method for adjusting output sound of the present invention is described below by taking the electronic device 1 as an example, the method for adjusting output sound of the present invention is not limited to the electronic device 1 having the same structure as described above.
Step 201 is performed first: a list of age gain values is stored.
First, an age gain value list 21 is stored in the storage module 20. The age gain table 21 includes a plurality of age sections, each of which is a first age section to an nth age section, and ages represented by the first age section to the nth age section are gradually increased, each of the age sections includes a set of correction parameters, the set of correction parameters includes a plurality of compensation gain values respectively corresponding to a plurality of target frequencies, and the compensation gain values of the same target frequency are gradually increased as N is larger.
Then, step 202 is performed: an age data of a user is obtained.
The second age data acquiring unit 31 is used for acquiring an age data of a user. The age data acquiring unit 31 can receive the age data of the user from the input module 42 or receive a sound file of the user from the radio module 51 to obtain age data, but the invention is not limited thereto.
Step 203 is performed: a target age zone is obtained according to the age data.
The parameter lookup unit 32 is then used to obtain a target age segment according to the age data, where the target age segment is one of the age segments listed in the age gain value list 21.
And then step 204 is carried out: and obtaining the corresponding set of correction parameters according to the target age zone.

Finally, step 205 is performed: according to the set of correction parameters, the equalizer is adjusted to set the gain values of the sound at different frequencies.
Finally, the parameter setting unit 33 is used to adjust the gain setting of the equalizer 11 for the sound at different frequencies according to the set of modified parameters obtained by the parameter searching unit 32.
It should be noted that the method for adjusting the equalizer of the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned steps, and the order of the steps can be changed as long as the purpose of the present invention is achieved.
As can be seen from the above description, according to the above embodiment, the electronic device 1 can know how to adjust the setting of the equalizer 11 according to the age of the user.

Claims (13)

1. An equalizer adjusting method is applied to an electronic device, the electronic device comprises an equalizer, a storage module and an equalizer adjusting module, and the equalizer adjusting method is characterized by further comprising the following steps:
storing an age gain value list in the storage module, wherein the age gain value list comprises a plurality of age sections, namely a first age section to an Nth age section, and the ages represented by the first age section to the Nth age section are gradually increased, each age section comprises a group of correction parameters, each group of correction parameters comprises a plurality of compensation gain values so as to respectively correspond to a plurality of target frequencies, and the compensation gain values in the same target frequency are increased along with the increase of N;
acquiring age data of a user;
obtaining a target age zone according to the age data, wherein the target age zone is one of the age zones;
obtaining the corresponding set of correction parameters according to the target age zone; and
according to the set of correction parameters, the equalizer adjustment module adjusts the gain setting of the equalizer for the sound at different frequencies.
2. The method of claim 1 wherein the compensation gain values are between 1.5 and 15.
3. The method of claim 2 wherein the offset gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between 1.5 and 4 when the target frequencies are between 250Hz and 2000 Hz.
4. The method of claim 3 wherein the compensation gain values are between 1.7 and 12 when the target frequencies are greater than 4000 Hz.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the electronic device further comprises a display module and an input module, the step of the equalizer adjusting module obtaining the age data of the user further comprises:
the equalizer adjustment module provides an age input interface to the display module and receives the age data of the user from the input module.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the electronic device further comprises a radio module, and the step of the equalizer adjustment module obtaining the age data of the user further comprises:
the equalizer adjusting module receives a sound file of the user from the sound receiving module and obtains the age data according to the sound file.
7. An electronic device, comprising:
an equalizer;
a storage module, storing an age gain value list, wherein the age gain value list comprises a plurality of age sections, namely a first age section to an Nth age section, and the ages represented by the first age section to the Nth age section are gradually increased, each age section comprises a group of correction parameters, the group of correction parameters comprises a plurality of compensation gain values, the compensation gain values correspond to a plurality of target frequencies respectively, and the compensation gain values of the same target frequency are increased along with the increase of N; and
an equalizer adjustment module electrically connected to the storage module and the equalizer, the equalizer adjustment module comprising:
an age data acquiring unit for acquiring an age data of a user;
a parameter searching unit, for obtaining a target age section according to the age data, wherein the target age section is one of the age sections, and the parameter searching unit obtains the corresponding set of correction parameters according to the target age section; and
a parameter setting unit, which adjusts the gain setting of the equalizer for the sound at different frequencies according to the set of correction parameters.
8. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the compensation gain values are between 1.5 and 15.
9. The electronic device of claim 8, wherein the compensation gain values corresponding to the target frequencies are between 1.5 and 4 when the target frequencies are between 250Hz and 2000 Hz.
10. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the compensation gains are between 1.7 and 12 when the target frequencies are greater than 4000 Hz.
11. The electronic device of claim 7, further comprising:
the display module is electrically connected with the equalizer adjusting module, and the age data acquiring unit provides an age input interface to the display module; and
an input module electrically connected to the equalizer adjustment module, wherein the age data acquiring unit receives the age data of the user from the input module.
12. The electronic device of claim 7, further comprising:
the age data acquisition unit receives a sound file of the user from the radio module and acquires the age data according to the sound file.
13. The electronic device of claim 7, further comprising an audio processing module, wherein the equalizer is disposed in the audio processing module.
