Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
The following briefly introduces a scenario in which the capability reporting method provided by the present application is applicable, with reference to fig. 1.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic flow diagram of a capability reporting process.
Generally, the network device inquires about the capability information of the terminal device includes the following steps.
S110, the network device sends a capability request message (capability request) to the terminal device. That is, the network device may first initiate a terminal device capability request to request the terminal to report its own capability.
And S120, the terminal equipment sends the capability reporting information to the network equipment.
After receiving the capability request message, the terminal device feeds back capability information of itself, for example, the terminal device reports bandwidth (band) combinations, feature sets (feature sets) and feature set combinations (feature set combinations) supported by itself. It should be understood that, if there is a capability that cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device among the capabilities supported by the terminal device, the terminal device may discard the capability to be reported, so as to ensure the security of the communication process. However, in this case, the network device cannot acquire the real capability of the terminal device, and thus cannot configure a proper operation mode to the terminal device. For example, at present, for the terminal device capability support situation with many physical layer characteristics, the mutual constraint relationship between the physical layer characteristics on the terminal device support capability is not considered, that is, the terminal can support one terminal device capability characteristic alone, but when the terminal device is required to support the second capability characteristic, the terminal device cannot support the first capability any more.
For example, the terminal device may separately support the capability of slot-based scheduling (CBG (5-22/23/24)) and the capability of scheduling more than one Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) in one slot (more than one Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) slot (5-11/11a/11 b)). However, if the terminal device is required to support both CBG (5-22/23/24) for slot-based scheduling and more than one outstanding PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11a/11b), the terminal device may not be able to support both of these capabilities due to excessive ACK/NACK code payload (ACK/NACK code payload).
In view of the above existing problems, the present application provides a capability reporting method, which enables a network device to accurately acquire the capability of a terminal by reporting information of capabilities supported by the terminal device and a constraint relationship between at least two capabilities. The method for reporting the capability of the present application will be specifically described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic flow chart of a capability information reporting method provided by the present application. The method of fig. 2 may be performed by a terminal device.
S210, the terminal device determines a plurality of capabilities supported by the terminal device.
Optionally, when the network device requests to query the capability of the terminal device, a capability query request message may be sent to the terminal device, where the request message is used to request the terminal device to report capability information of the terminal device.
Optionally, after receiving the capability query request message sent by the network device, the terminal device determines a plurality of capabilities supported by itself, so as to feed back capability information of the terminal device itself to the network device. The feedback capability of the terminal device may be various, for example, one or more of bandwidth (band) combinations, feature sets (feature sets), and feature set combinations (feature sets combinations) supported by the terminal device.
It should be understood that, among the plurality of capabilities supported by the terminal device, there may be at least two capabilities having a first relationship therebetween, where the first relationship may be a relationship whether the capabilities can be simultaneously supported by the terminal device. For example, if the terminal device can support the capabilities including capability a and capability B, in general, the terminal device can separately execute capability a or capability B, but cannot support both capabilities, then the first relationship between capability a and capability B is that the terminal device cannot support both capabilities; alternatively, if the terminal device is capable of supporting both capability a and capability B, the first relationship between capability a and capability B is capable of being supported by the terminal device at the same time.
The reason why the terminal device cannot support two or more capabilities at the same time may be various, for example, the terminal device cannot process too many ACKs/NACKs at the same time, which is not limited in the present application.
Illustratively, a terminal device may separately support a capability of slot-based scheduling (CBG (5-22/23/24)) and a capability of scheduling multiple Physical Downlink Shared Channels (PDSCHs) in one slot (more than one Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) per slot (5-11/11a/11b)), but cannot simultaneously support the above two capabilities, and at this time, there is a first relationship between the capability of slot-based scheduling and the capability of scheduling multiple PDSCHs in one slot, which cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device; for another example, the terminal device may separately support the capability of performing PDSCH repeated transmission on multiple slots (as shown in fig. 3) (PDSCH repetition over multiple slots (5-17a)), or may separately support the capability of supporting multiple PDSCH transmissions in one slot (slot) (more than one PDSCH per slot (5-11/11a/11b)), but if the terminal device is required to perform PDSCH repeated transmission on multiple slots, it may be impossible to perform multiple PDSCH transmissions in one slot, and at this time, there is also a first relationship between the two capabilities that cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device.
In particular, the first relationship may be that there is a restriction or influence between at least two capabilities, i.e. if a terminal device supports one of the capabilities, it cannot support the other capabilities at the same time; or, when the terminal device supports one of the capabilities, the terminal device may also support at least one other capability at the same time. From the above description, it should be understood that the first relationship may be: on one hand, when at least two capabilities can be simultaneously supported by the terminal device, the at least two capabilities can have a first relation therebetween; on the other hand, when at least two capabilities cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device, the at least two capabilities may also have a first relationship therebetween. The first relation is to indicate a relation between at least two capabilities, and the relation may be whether the at least two capabilities are simultaneously supported by the terminal device.
Optionally, the first relationship may also be that the at least two capabilities cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device, but when at least one of the capabilities is degraded, the terminal device may enable simultaneous support of the at least two capabilities.
S220, the terminal device sends the information of the plurality of capabilities and the information of the first relation to the network device.
Optionally, after the terminal device determines a plurality of capabilities supported by the terminal device, the terminal device reports information of the plurality of capabilities to the network device. In addition, the terminal device reports the information of the first relationship to the network device.
Optionally, the terminal device carries the information of the plurality of capabilities and the information of the first relationship, both of which are sent to the network device, in the same message, for example, a capability reporting message; or, the terminal device respectively carries the information of the multiple capabilities and the information of the first relationship, which are sent to the network device, in different messages, for example, the configuration completion message carries the information of the first relationship.
Optionally, after receiving the information of the multiple capabilities supported by the terminal device and the information of the first relationship sent by the terminal device, the network device obtains the actual capability information of the terminal device according to the information of the multiple capabilities and the information of the first relationship.
According to the capability reporting method provided by the embodiment of the application, besides reporting the plurality of capabilities supported by the terminal, the first relationship among some capability items in the plurality of capabilities is also reported to the network device, so that the network device can more accurately acquire the real capability of the terminal device to perform proper configuration on the terminal device.
The method for reporting the capability of the present application is described in more detail below.
Optionally, the terminal device and the network device may have agreed that the capability report message sent by the terminal device includes only the capability combinations that can be simultaneously supported by the terminal device or only the capability combinations that cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device in the capability report message sent by the terminal device.
In addition, when the terminal device reports the information of the plurality of capabilities and the information of the first relationship, which are supported by the terminal device, the information of the plurality of capabilities and the information of the first relationship can be reported in a plurality of specific forms.
Alternatively, the terminal device may group the respective capabilities supported by itself into a set, which may be, for example, a list (list) including the respective capabilities. Where each capability may be represented by an identification or sequence number (index) of an element in the set. For example, assume that a list of capability sets supported by a terminal device is shown in table 1, where the list includes capabilities supported by the terminal device, and services or characteristics corresponding to the capabilities may be denoted as featureA1, featureA2, featureB1, and featureB2, where a1, a2, B1, and B2 are only used to indicate types of characteristics supported by the terminal device, which is not limited in the present application. The first column in the list of capability sets may be an Identification (ID) or a serial number corresponding to each capability, and the second column may be information of each capability. Optionally, after receiving the capability reporting message, the network device may obtain the capability supported by the terminal device by reading the list included in the capability reporting message. Here, the tables in the embodiments of the present application are all for representing the correspondence relationship, and are not limited to the form of the table. In a specific implementation, the correspondence may be embodied in any form.
TABLE 1
Figure BDA0002109249290000071
Figure BDA0002109249290000081
Alternatively, the terminal device may represent the combination of the capabilities having the first relationship by another list, as shown in table 2. Table 2 the first column is the serial number corresponding to the combination of capabilities having the first relationship and the second column is the combination of capabilities having the first relationship. Table 2 may be used to represent a set of combinations of capabilities that can be simultaneously supported by a terminal device; or, it may be used to indicate a set of combinations of capabilities that cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device. In other words, the first row in table 2 may indicate that the combination of capabilities a1 and B1 cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device; alternatively, it may also be indicated that capabilities a1 and B1 may be supported by the terminal device at the same time.
Alternatively, when the combination of capabilities supported by the terminal device is indicated in the aggregate list of the capability combinations having the first relationship (as in table 2), the network device may calculate all the combinations of capabilities from the capabilities supported by the terminal device (as in table 1), and obtain the combination of capabilities that cannot be simultaneously supported by the terminal device according to the combination except the combination of capabilities having the first relationship (as in table 2). That is, when the capability combinations shown in table 2 represent terminal device capability combinations that are not restricted or affected by each other, the capability combinations of the terminal device capabilities that are not limited or affected by each other may be represented by other combinations or sets than the combinations or sets that the terminal device capabilities shown in table 1 can form or constitute.
TABLE 2
1 feature A1&B1
2 feature A1&B2
3 feature A2&B1
4 feature A1&B1&B2
For example, a1 in table 1 and table 2 may correspond to CBG (5-22/23/24) for slot-based scheduling, and B1 may correspond to more than one outstanding PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11 a/11B). At this time, the terminal device may report that the combination of the two characteristics (or sub-characteristics) is not supported.
Optionally, the first relationship included in the capability reporting message sent by the terminal device may also be represented by a capability vector. In particular, the terminal device introduces two or more different capability vectors (terminal device feature vectors) which may constitute a matrix of combinations of capabilities by which combinations of capabilities that the terminal device may or may not support simultaneously may be represented.
Optionally, since the first relationship may include that at least two capabilities can be supported or cannot be supported by the terminal device at the same time, when the terminal device sends the capability reporting message, the first relationship of different types may carry first indication information, and the first indication information indicates, by way of an explicit indication, whether the terminal device can support the at least two capabilities at the same time. In other words, the first indication information describes a type of the first relationship included in the capability report message, so that the network device may determine whether the terminal device can simultaneously support at least two capabilities having the first relationship according to the first indication information.
Alternatively, the first indication information may be used to indicate that the terminal device can only support any one of the capabilities having the first relationship.
Optionally, the at least two capabilities with the first relationship may be, for example, capabilities with the first relationship on the first carrier or the first cell. Illustratively, the two capabilities may be, for example, an enhanced mobile broadband (eMMB) service capability and an ultra-reliable low latency communication (urrllc) service capability, respectively.
For example, the first indication information may be used to indicate that the terminal device is capable of simultaneously supporting the capability for performing the eMBB service and the capability for the URLLC service on the first carrier or the first cell; alternatively, the first indication information may be used to indicate that the terminal device cannot simultaneously support the capability for performing the eMBB service and the capability for the URLLC service on the first carrier or the first cell. When the first indication information is used for indicating that the terminal equipment cannot simultaneously support the capability of performing the eMBB service and the capability of the URLLC service on the first carrier or the first cell, the first indication information may further indicate that the terminal equipment can only support the capability of the eMBB service on the first carrier or the first cell; or, the first indication information indicates the capability of the terminal device to support the URLLC service only in the first carrier or the first cell.
By sending the first indication information to the network device, the network device can more accurately acquire the relationship between the capability information of the terminal device and the plurality of capabilities, and the terminal device is prevented from automatically accepting or rejecting the capabilities when the capabilities are reported.
Fig. 4 is a schematic flow chart of another capability reporting method provided in the embodiment of the present application.
S410, the terminal device determines at least one first capability related to the first service supported by the terminal device.
Optionally, before the terminal device determines the first capability related to the first service, the network device sends a capability query request message to the terminal device, where the capability query request message is used to request to query the capability information of the terminal device. The capability query request message includes second indication information, where the second indication information is used to indicate the first service, that is, what type of service the capability query request may indicate requests the terminal device to report the capability.
It should be understood that the first service may be a specific service, for example, a high-reliability service or a low-delay service, and the second indication information of the first service information may be used to instruct the terminal device to report capability information related to the first service. Illustratively, the network device, for example, the gNB includes the indication information of the characteristic service information in the terminal device capability request query message to notify the terminal device that the current network device requests the terminal device to report the terminal device capability information related to the service information. For example, if the network device expects to acquire the capability information of the terminal device related to the high-reliability service supported by the terminal device, the network device carries the indication information of the high-reliability service information in the terminal device capability query request message, so that the terminal device can report the capability support information of the terminal device related to the high-reliability service; if the network device, for example, the gNB expects to know the terminal device capability information related to the low delay and high reliability service supported by the terminal device, the network device carries the information of the low delay and high reliability service in the capability request message sent to the terminal device, so that the terminal device can report the capability information supported by the terminal device according to the service information.
Optionally, the terminal device determines at least one first capability related to the first service according to the second indication information. Wherein, the first capability related to the first service may refer to: a second relationship exists between the first capability and the first service, which may be, for example, that the first capability complies with a first quality of service (QoS) requirement, and so on.
Illustratively, when the terminal device receives the capability query request message, the terminal device determines the relevant capabilities supported by the terminal device according to the service indication information in the capability query request message. For example, if the traffic indicated by the second indication information is high-reliability traffic, the terminal device may determine the capability of supporting scheduling of multiple PDSCHs in one time slot.
Optionally, the terminal device may further determine information of at least one second capability, where the second capability is a capability unrelated to the first service. For example, the second capability may be a capability related to the second service, or the second capability may conform to a QoS of the second service, and so on. The first service and the second service are different, for example, the first service is a high-reliability service, the second service is a low-delay service, or the first service is an enhanced mobile broadband service eMMB, the second service is an ultra-low-delay high-reliability service URLLC, and the like.
Optionally, the terminal device may further divide the multiple capabilities into a first capability set and a second capability set according to the correlation between the multiple capabilities supported by the terminal device and the first service. Wherein the relevance of the capabilities in the first set of capabilities to the first service is lower than the relevance of the capabilities in the second set of capabilities to the first service. In other words, the first set of capabilities may include capabilities that are not related or weakly related to the first service, and the second set of capabilities may include capabilities that are bound or strongly related to the first service.
Optionally, the first capability related to the first service is a capability of the terminal device on the first carrier or the first cell, for example, the first capability may be a capability of supporting an eMBB service or a capability of supporting a URLLC service.
S420, the terminal device sends information of the capabilities supported by the terminal device to the network device.
After receiving a service-carrying capability request message sent by a network device, a terminal device determines the reported capability of the terminal device according to indicated service information.
As an example, if a network device (e.g. a gNB) carries an indication of high-reliability service information in a capability request message, then a terminal device carries corresponding terminal device capability information related to supporting the high-reliability service in a capability report message, e.g. the capability "more than one outstanding PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11a/11 b)" is the terminal device capability information related to the high-reliability service, and then the terminal device may report that the terminal device supports the aforementioned capability of 5-11/11a/11b at this time.
As another example, if the network device requests low-latency and high-reliability service information in the capability request, the terminal device needs to determine whether CBG (5-22/23/24) for slot-based scheduling and more than one outstanding PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11a/11b) can be simultaneously supported, and if the terminal device determines that the CBG can be supported, the terminal device reports the information of the two capabilities; and if the terminal equipment determines that the two capability items can not be simultaneously supported, the terminal equipment indicates that the two capability items can not be simultaneously supported in the capability report message.
Optionally, the terminal device sends information of at least one first capability related to the first service to the network device.
Optionally, the terminal device may send information of the at least one second capability to the network device.
Further, the respective capability items of the terminal device may be classified, for example, the capability items of the terminal device may be divided into a capability set that is not related to the service characteristic or is weakly related to the service characteristic, and a capability set that is related to the service characteristic or is strongly related to the service characteristic. For example, if the terminal device capability request sent by the network device does not include the indication information related to the specific service, the terminal device only reports the terminal device capability unrelated to the service characteristics or weakly related to the service characteristics, which may also be referred to as the basic capability of the terminal device; when the terminal device capability request sent by the network device contains service-related indication information, the terminal device may select and determine the terminal device capability that is supported or not supported by the report from the related capabilities according to the service information.
According to the capability reporting method provided by the embodiment of the application, the terminal device reports the capability based on the supported or initiated service, so that the network device can more accurately acquire the capability which is supported by the terminal device and is related to a certain service.
Fig. 5 is a schematic flow chart of still another capability reporting method provided in the embodiment of the present application.
S510, the terminal device determines a plurality of capabilities supported by the terminal device.
Optionally, before the terminal device determines the plurality of capabilities supported by the terminal device, the network device sends a capability query request message to the terminal device, where the request message is used to request the terminal device to report capability information of the terminal device.
Optionally, the capability query request message may include second indication information, where the second indication information is used to indicate the first service, that is, the network device requests the terminal device to report the information of the capability related to the first service. The first service may be, for example, a high reliability service, a low latency service, or the like.
Optionally, the terminal device determines at least one first capability related to the first service according to the second indication information. Wherein the first capability related to the first service may be: a second relationship exists between the first capability and the first service, and the second relationship may be, for example, that the first capability meets the first service QoS requirement, etc.
The first service may be a service of the terminal device on a first carrier or a first cell, for example, may be an eMBB service, and the first capability may be, for example, a capability of supporting the eMBB service.
S520, the terminal device sends the information of the capability supported by the terminal device to the network device.
Optionally, the terminal device sends information of a plurality of capabilities supported by itself to the network device.
Optionally, the information of the plurality of capabilities supported by the terminal device, sent by the terminal device to the network device, includes information of at least one first capability related to the first service.
Optionally, when the terminal device determines at least one second capability, information of the at least one second capability may also be sent to the network device, where the second capability is a capability unrelated to the first service. For example, the second capability is a capability related to the second service, or the second capability conforms to QoS of the second service, and the first service is different from the second service, for example, the first service is a high reliability service, the second service is a low latency service, or the first service is an enhanced mobile broadband service eMBB, and the second service is an ultra low latency high reliability service URLLC.
S530, the terminal equipment receives the service establishment message sent by the network equipment and updates the capability.
Optionally, the network device sends a new service establishment message to the terminal device, and specifically, may establish a new Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session or a radio bearer (DRB) for the terminal device.
Optionally, the service establishment message is used to indicate a second service, where the second service is a new service that needs to be established or a service that needs to be updated by the terminal device. The second service may be, for example: PDU session or DRB, etc.
Optionally, the service establishment message may include service requirements, such as QoS requirements of the service that needs to be established or updated.
Illustratively, after receiving a PDU session or DRB establishment message, a terminal determines whether the capability of the terminal device needs to be updated according to the service requirement (such as QoS requirement) of the PDU session or DRB that needs to be established; or, optionally, the network device instructs the terminal device to perform capability update in a PDU session setup or DRB setup message.
As an example, if the currently established service is a high-reliability service, the terminal device may report that "more than one outstanding PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11a/11 a)" is supported or that "more than one outstanding PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11a/11 b)" is not supported in the capability update.
As another example, if the new service established by the terminal device is low-delay and high-reliability service information, the terminal device may report support of CBG (5-22/23/24) for slot-based scheduling and one uplink PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11a/11b) or report support of CBG (5-22/23/24) for slot-based scheduling and one uplink PDSCHs per slot (5-11/11a/11b) in capability update.
Optionally, the terminal device determines at least one third capability that needs to be updated according to the service establishment message, where the third capability is a capability related to the second service.
The second service may be a service of the terminal device on the first carrier or the first cell, and may be, for example, a uRLLC service.
Optionally, the third capability related to the second service is a capability of the terminal device on the first carrier or the first cell, for example, the third capability may be a capability of supporting the uRLLC service.
As an example, the service setup message may include third indication information indicating information that the terminal reports a third capability related to the second service. The terminal device may send information of a third capability after establishing a new service or updating a service to the network device according to the third indication information, where the third capability is a capability related to the second service.
As another example, the terminal device establishes or updates a service according to the received service establishment message, automatically updates the capability related to the service, and then sends the updated capability information to the network device.
S540, the terminal device sends information of at least one third capability to the network device.
Optionally, after the terminal device updates the terminal capability, the terminal device reports the information of the third capability after the update to the network device.
Optionally, if at least two capabilities of the plurality of third capabilities have a first relationship, that is, a restriction relationship, the terminal device reports information of the first relationship to the terminal device.
For convenience of understanding, the capability reporting method of this embodiment is illustrated. If the service newly established by the terminal equipment is a high-reliability service and the capability of scheduling a plurality of PDSCHs in a time slot is updated after the new service is established, the terminal equipment can report the updated capability information to the network equipment; or, the newly established service of the terminal device is a low delay service and a high reliability service, and after the new service is established, the capability based on time slot scheduling respectively corresponding to the low delay service and the high reliability service and the capability of supporting multiple PDSCH transmission in one time slot are updated, the terminal device can determine whether the two capabilities can be simultaneously supported, if the two capabilities can be simultaneously supported, the terminal device can send the information of the two capabilities to the network device, and send the information that the terminal device can simultaneously support the two capabilities to the network device; if the terminal device cannot simultaneously support the capability of scheduling based on the time slot and the capability of supporting multiple PDSCH transmissions in one time slot, the terminal device may send information of both the capabilities to the network device, and send information that the terminal device cannot simultaneously support both the capabilities to the network device.
According to the capability reporting method provided by this embodiment, the terminal device reports the capability information of the service created or updated to the network device, so that the network device can more accurately obtain the updated real capability of the terminal device.
