Description

Simple stock selection device and method based on financial conditions
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of investment stock selection, in particular to a simple stock selection device and method based on financial conditions.
Background
The stock investor is confronted with the trouble of stock selection of thousands of stocks, is not much unknown to novices from which to start, and is easily lost in the selection strategy of the basic plane, the technical plane and the chip plane. For a long-line investor who is worried about risks and wants to stably earn stocks, the method selects physical stocks first, determines that the financial and operating conditions of the company are stable, and is the best stock selection direction, namely, the lesson is necessary for researching the intrinsic value of the company in a fundamental way. This is called basic surface analysis, i.e. checking the financial statements of a company and sorting out the investment targets according to the result of the financial analysis. Since the financial statements can completely present the operating conditions of a company in objective figures, it can be determined whether a company is worth investing by examining the financial statements. However, it is difficult for the investor to understand the profit, debt and business abilities of a company from financial reports, and especially, many investors do not understand the meaning of those financial numbers, let alone the selection of the best investment target from hundreds or even thousands of stocks under specific financial conditions.
At present, the technologies for selecting stocks based on financial conditions fail to consider how to select the screening conditions in a simple manner when the user (i.e., investor) does not know the financial statement, and most of them are focused on the data comparison/screening process. For example, taiwan patent publication No. 201301187, a prior art, discloses an "information system and method for optimal financial analysis and stock selection", which includes the following steps: the stock evaluation subsystem can receive financial report data of the required enterprise personal stock, can automatically screen out the enterprise personal stock which meets the standard value or best performance of the same industry according to the evaluated standard value, and can generate investment suggestion information provided by an expert to be transmitted to client equipment to be used as a reference for an investor to make a stock selection decision. The first prior art is directed to an investment stock selection method based on financial surfaces, and the center of gravity of the method is a technology focused on a data comparison/screening stage.
In the second prior art, taiwan patent publication No. 201222455 discloses a "benchmarking investment stock selection method, a computer program product and a computer-readable recording medium", which includes the following steps: A. according to a stock market price database, calculating historical reward data of all stocks in all first time intervals in a historical time interval including the latest time, historical reward data of a large disk and historical reward data of various industry classifications; B. grouping all the stocks in all the first time intervals according to whether the historical reward of the industry to which the stocks belong in all the first time intervals is greater than the historical reward of the industry to which the stocks belong, whether the historical reward of the stocks is greater than the historical reward of the industry to which the stocks belong and whether the historical reward of the stocks is greater than the historical reward of the industry to which the stocks belong in all the first time intervals in the historical time intervals so as to generate the group to which all the stocks belong in all the first time intervals; and C, according to a specific grouping mode of the group to which a specific stock belongs in a second time interval including the recent time interval, calculating an increasing probability and an increasing average reward of the same specific grouping mode appearing in the historical time interval and a first time interval after the same specific grouping mode appearing in the historical time interval being increased, a falling probability and a falling average reward of the same specific grouping mode appearing in the historical time interval and a first time interval after the same specific grouping mode appearing in the historical time interval being falling, a flat probability of the same specific grouping mode appearing in the historical time interval and a first time interval after the same specific grouping mode appearing in the historical time interval being flat, wherein the sum of the increasing probability, the falling probability and the flat probability is 1, and the increasing probability and the falling probability are used for the investor to decide whether to buy or sell the specific stock. The second prior art is an investment stock selection method based on information of individual stocks, industry and large market, and the center of gravity of the method is also a technology focusing on a data comparison/screening stage.
In other words, the technical objectives of the first and second prior arts are to solve the problem of "investment stock selection", but not to solve the problem of "how to easily set the financial surface condition for the user to perform the screening". The investment stock selection methods of the first and second prior art do not require the user to intervene in the initial screening condition setting, that is, the first and second prior art automatically perform data comparison/screening in a fixed condition mode without the user's beak. When the same fixed condition mode helps ten thousand users to automatically select stocks, ten thousand screening results are most likely to be the same stock, that is, all the sights are concentrated on the first stock in the stock market, so that the stock price of the first stock is promoted to be higher, and reasonable entrance price is not easy to be obtained by investors.
On the contrary, there is another prior art three, and the investment stock selection system of the prior art three can let the user set all the financial surface conditions by himself for the selection, but the selection is performed in the "absolute value" selection mode. If the user is unfamiliar with the financial surfaces and cannot understand the meaning behind each financial number, the user cannot easily set conditions for stock selection, such as: the user can only select the 'season gross profit rate is more than 40%', the '40%' is an absolute value, and most of users do not know what concept the 'season gross profit rate is more than 40%'. The system learning threshold of the third prior art is too high for the user to easily perform.
That is, the prior art cannot meet the requirement that the user easily sets the financial surface condition for stock selection and screening. There is therefore a need for an improved method of the prior art to remedy the deficiencies of the prior art.

The present invention is applicable to, but not limited to, personal computers (PC, MAC), Notebook computers (Laptop/Notebook/Portable Computer), Smart phones (Smartphone), Tablet PCs (Tablet PC), Hand-Held Stock ticker devices (Hand-Held Stock ticker devices), Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), Smart TV …, etc., all of which are configured with a screen and can execute the application programs (i.e., Stock trading software, Stock quote software, Stock ticker software) of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a functional block diagram of a system of an apparatus 10 for easy stock selection based on financial conditions and a functional block diagram of an application 20 according to the present invention are shown, in which only core modules related to a preferred embodiment of the present invention are listed, and the remaining modules are omitted and not depicted. The application 20 is executed on the device 10 for easy stock selection based on financial conditions. In one embodiment of the present invention, the device 10 for simple stock selection based on financial conditions comprises: one or more processors 12, memory 14, screen 16, and communication module 18. The memory 14 stores an application program 20; the processor 12 executes a plurality of program instructions contained in the application program 20 and implements the following modules in a manner that the hardware and software work together: a financial statement module 22, a condition selection module 24 and a data screening module 26; the screen 16 is used to display a Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the application program 20; the communication module 18 is used to establish Internet (Internet) network connection, such as: wired broadband, WLAN (Wi-Fi, etc.), mobile communication networks (e.g., 3G, 4G, 5G …), etc.
With continued reference to fig. 2, a functional block diagram of the application program 20 according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: the financial reporting module 22, the conditional access module 24 and the data filtering module 26 are only shown in the figure to list the core modules related to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and the remaining modules are omitted and not depicted, for example: a login verification module, a quotation module, a free share module, a news module …, etc.
The financial reporting module 22 is used to connect with a remote server (e.g., a quotation server, a financial data server or a financial reporting database) and download the financial reports of the company (i.e., the first selected company), and generate a financial reporting view according to the financial reports of the company (the first selected company). The data presentation manner of the financial statement view 28 is to take a company as a unit to present financial statements of each company, in some embodiments, the financial statement view 28 of each company is further divided into a balance sheet, a profit and loss sheet and a cash flow sheet, and the financial statement view 28 presents information of each statement by a plurality of Tab pages (Tab), as shown in fig. 3A and 3B; in some embodiments, the financial statement view 28 for each company is a comprehensive statement that presents a complete financial statement (i.e., a three-table integrated statement, not pictured). In some embodiments, the financial reporting view graphically displays the company's financial reports (e.g., the return per share (EPS) for each quarter is represented in a histogram as shown in FIG. 3B), such as: histogram (Bar Chart), Pie Chart (Pie Chart), Line Chart (Line Chart), Histogram (Histogram), or other Chart that may be used to present a financial statement.
The condition selecting module 24 is configured to receive the financial value selecting instruction to obtain a first financial item corresponding to the first selected financial value, receive the condition generating instruction to generate the first financial item and the first selected financial value as a first financial condition, and transmit the first financial condition to the data filtering module 26 for filtering the stocks meeting the first financial condition. In some embodiments, the financial statement view is displayed in a numeric (i.e., numerical) type, and when the select financial value command is applied to the number (i.e., the select financial value command is generated when the user clicks on the value), the condition selection module 24 may directly obtain the "selected financial value" and the corresponding "financial item"; in some embodiments, the financial statement view is displayed in a chart type, and when the select financial value command is applied to the chart, the condition selection module 24 performs reverse engineering conversion according to the selected coordinates of the chart (i.e., the select financial value command is generated when the user clicks on the coordinates on the chart) to generate the selected financial value and the corresponding financial item. In some embodiments, further comprising: receiving a company selection instruction, the generation of the company selection instruction is generated when the user clicks the left and right keys (e.g. the triangle keys on the left and right sides of the station power saving in fig. 3A) in the financial statement view 28; in some embodiments, the "select company command" is generated when the user clicks on the search result after searching for the stock name or stock code. The present invention does not require the user to know what each financial value represents (i.e., the user does not have to have a particular idea of the number), and the user simply selects a "good company" (e.g., a model student in stock market or a post in industry) to refer to the financial value. The "good company" selected by the user, referred to as the first selected company ("the company selected by the user") in this specification, is so "first" in the sense that the user can select any number of "good companies" to select their financial value as a filtering condition, so there may be "first selected company", "second selected company", "third selected company" …, and so on. For example: the user can select the gross interest rate of a certain season of the 'station power up' (because the gross interest rate of the 'station power up' reported by news is high) and the net cash flow of 'honghai' (because the cash flow of the 'honghai' reported by news is sound) to combine to generate the conditions for screening the stocks. All of the financial values in the financial statement view 28 of the present invention are available for user selection (resulting in a select financial value instruction), and the selected financial values 32 (shown in FIG. 4) are referred to as "first selected financial value", "second selected financial value", "third selected financial value" …. The selected financial value 32 is presented in some embodiments as a Highlight effect (Highlight), in some embodiments as a value in a different color, in some embodiments as a different background, and the legend indicates the selected financial value in a larger font and background.
In some embodiments, the financial reporting module 22 and the condition selecting module 24 are integrated in the same module and are responsible for processing all the tasks of the two modules; in some embodiments, the condition selecting Module 24 is a Sub-Module (Sub-Module) of the financial reporting Module 22, and the division between the two modules is slightly different from the foregoing, but the overall working range of the two modules is still the same as the foregoing, for example: the generate condition button 30 in the financial statements view 28 is handled by the financial statements module 22.
The data screening module 26 is configured to compare the received first financial condition with the financial statement database to screen out a conforming target (i.e., a company), and in some embodiments, the data screening module 26 is disposed on the server side; in some embodiments, the data filtering module 26 is disposed at the device side.
Referring to FIG. 3A, a screen 16 of a digital financial statement view 28 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, which illustrates a graphical user interface of an application 20 displayed on the screen 16 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The drawings in the specification of the present application are illustrated by taking a screen style of a smart phone as an example, the present invention is not limited to be used in the smart phone, and the present invention can also be used in desktop computers, notebook computers, tablet computers, handheld stock computers, personal digital assistants, smart televisions …, etc.; the following examples and references to stocks are illustrative of stocks and companies in the Taipei stock market, but the present invention is not limited to use in a particular stock market. In the present embodiment, a digital financial statement view 28 is displayed on a smart phone (the device 10 for easy stock selection based on financial conditions). The legend illustrates that the user can click the triangular keys on the left side and the right side of the station power saving above the view to switch to other optional stocks in the optional stock list, and a company selecting instruction is generated when the user clicks the triangular key to switch the optional stocks. The user may click on any financial value in the financial statement view 28, and the legend displays the production condition key 30 in the upper right corner of the view in gray (i.e., non-clickable) because no financial value has been selected. Each financial value in the table has a corresponding financial item and time (i.e. quarter), the present invention allows the user to select a financial value of a specific company in a "What You See Is What You Get" manner, and then combine the financial items corresponding to the selected financial values 32 to generate financial conditions, and the What You See Is What You Get Is in a manner that allows the user to easily set the financial conditions to be screened without having to apply numbers (i.e. without having to have special concepts for the financial numbers), because the financial values in the financial statements of a "good company" (model generation in stock market or benchmarks in industry) should be "good" or even "excellent".
Referring to FIG. 3B, a diagram of a screen 16 of a chart-type financial statement view 28 according to a second embodiment of the present invention is shown in which a histogram (also called a bar graph) represents the EPS for each quarter. In addition to the financial statement view 28 of the first digital type (as shown in FIG. 3A) and the financial statement view of the second graph type (as shown in FIG. 3B), the conditional access module 24 of this embodiment must add one more processing task, i.e., when the instruction for accessing the financial value acts on the graph, the conditional access module 24 performs a reverse engineering conversion and generates the accessed financial value and the corresponding financial item according to the accessed coordinates of the graph (i.e., the coordinates on the graph clicked by the user). For example: when the user clicks on the top first histogram in FIG. 3B (generating the select finance value command), the condition selection module 24 performs inverse engineering conversion (i.e., generates the original number of the chart) according to the selected coordinates on the chart, so as to obtain the selected finance value ("10") and the corresponding finance item ("EPS" of 3Q18 "). The financial statement view 28 of the chart type in the second embodiment of the present invention is different from the financial statement view 28 of the digital type in the first embodiment only in the type of data displayed on the view, and the condition selection module 24 needs to add a reverse engineering conversion when the financial value selection instruction acts on the chart in the second embodiment, and other features and operations of the two embodiments are the same, so that the following description is continued with the first embodiment, and the second embodiment is not further described.
Referring to FIG. 4, a first diagram of a digital financial statement view 28 and a screen 16 of selected financial values according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. The legend illustrates that after a user clicks on a financial value of the numeric-type financial statement (generates the select financial value command), the selected financial value 32 (legend "47.39") is marked with a special effect (legend in larger font and bottom line). At this time, the condition selecting module 24 stores the selected financial value 32 (referred to as "first selected financial value", illustrated as "47.39") and the corresponding financial item (referred to as "first financial item", illustrated as "gross profit margin") in the memory 14. When the user selects a financial value, the status of the generate condition button 30 is changed to "clickable" (Enabled), and if the user clicks the generate condition button 30, it is shown in fig. 5.
Referring to fig. 5, a first diagram of a screen 16 for generating stock-selecting conditions according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, when the user selects at least one selected financial value 32 and clicks the generate conditions button 30, the condition selecting module 24 displays a pop-up window 34 for displaying the financial condition (referred to as "first financial condition") formed by the selected financial value 32 and the corresponding financial item, so as to allow the user to confirm. Before confirmation, the user may arbitrarily edit (click edit keys) the equal sign (i.e., "equal")/unequal sign (i.e., "greater than", "less than") or the financial value (not shown). When the user clicks the confirmation key in the pop-up window 34, the condition generating instruction is generated, and the condition selecting module 24 generates the first financial condition and transmits the first financial condition to the data filtering module 26.
Referring to FIG. 6, a second illustration of a digital financial statement view 28 and a screen 16 of selected financial values 32 is shown in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The illustration shows that the user has selected a plurality of selected financial values 32 (i.e., a first selected financial value, a second selected financial value, a third selected financial value, and a fourth selected financial value) from the financial statement view 28 of "power savings", and all of the selected financial values 32 and their corresponding financial items are stored in the memory 14 by the conditional access module 24. In some embodiments, the user may deselect the selected financial value 32 by clicking it again; in some embodiments, the user may click on the return button (shown in the upper left corner of the drawing) to cancel all of the selected financial values 32, and may re-select the selected financial values 32 when returning to the financial statement view 28 again; in some embodiments, a cancel button (not shown) is added to cancel all selected financial values 32.
Referring to FIG. 7, a second illustration of a screen 16 for generating stock-selecting conditions according to an embodiment of the present invention shows financial conditions (i.e., the first financial condition, the second financial condition, and the eighth financial condition …) in part from the financial statement view 28 of FIG. 6, in part from selected financial conditions on different tab pages (e.g., asset balance sheet and cash flow sheet, not shown), and possibly from the financial statement view 28 of "another company" (the second selected company), not shown. Since the condition selecting module 24 reads the selected financial value 32 and the corresponding financial item from the memory 14, the present invention has no limitation of cross-company, cross-view, or cross-tab, i.e., the user can arbitrarily combine different companies and different financial statements to generate the screened financial condition. In addition, the illustration also illustrates the technical characteristics of the condition selection module 24 of the present invention that automatically judges, automatically sets the financial condition screening direction of "greater than" (>), "equal to" (=), or "less than" (<) in the financial condition. For example: automatically set to "greater than" the selected financial value 32 when the financial item is "season gross profit margin"; automatically set to "less than" the selected financial value 32 when the financial item is "benevolence ratio"; automatically set to "less than" the selected financial value 32 when the financial item is "liability ratio"; automatically set to "less than" the selected financial value 32 when the financial item is "average days to cash out"; automatically set to "greater than" the selected financial value 32 … when the financial item is "EPS", etc. In some embodiments, the condition selecting module 24 further provides an "edit" function (e.g. the edit key shown in fig. 5) to allow the user to change the setting of the filtering direction of the financial conditions such as equal/unequal numbers in the financial conditions, and even edit the size of the selected financial value 32.
Referring to FIG. 8, a third illustration of a digital financial statement view 28 and a screen 16 of selected financial values 32 is shown in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The illustration illustrates that the user may also click on a particular quarter (selected quarter 36, which generates a particular quarter selection instruction) so that data filtering module 26 may specify the particular quarter (selected quarter 36) when comparing against the database to filter stocks meeting financial criteria for that particular quarter. Because some industries have obvious light and strong seasons, the strength of the special seasons can be obviously seen by designating the special seasons (for example, the company with 'weak light' can be screened out by matching the good financial value with the special seasons).
Referring to FIG. 9, a third illustration of a screen 16 for generating stock selection conditions according to the present invention is shown for financial conditions generated according to the selected financial value 32 and the selected quarter 36 of FIG. 8.
Referring to fig. 10, a flowchart of the operation of an embodiment of the present invention is shown. The operation flow of the user selecting a financial value in the financial report view 28 of a company after selecting a financial report of the company by using the device 10 (such as a computer/smart phone/tablet computer/stock ticker/smart tv) to execute the application 20, please refer to fig. 1, 2, 3A, 4 and 5, which includes:
step S101: the present application 20 is executed on the device 10. A user executes an application 20 (i.e., stock exchange software, stock quote software, or investment share software) of the present invention on a device 10 (e.g., computer/smartphone/tablet/stock machine/smart television).
Step S102: a connection is established with the server. After execution of the application 20, the user is assumed to switch to the financial reporting view 28 with a menu (not shown) operation, which triggers the financial reporting module 22 to connect to a remote server (e.g., a quote server, a financial data server, or a financial reporting database).
Step S103: and downloading the financial statement of the company from the server. After establishing a connection with the server, in some embodiments, the financial reporting module 22 downloads the respective financial reports of the plurality of companies from the server; in some embodiments, the financial reporting module 22 downloads financial reports for one company at a time according to the default corporate list (i.e., the optional shares list) of the financial reporting view 28, such as: if the first company is "power over site" (i.e., the default company in the financial report view 28, and the selected company instruction is "power over site"), the financial report module 22 downloads the financial report of "power over site" (this is called the first selected company) first, and then downloads the financial report from the server separately after the user switches to another company (generates the selected company instruction). In some embodiments, the downloaded financial statement view 28 is further divided into a balance sheet, a profit-and-loss sheet, and a cash flow sheet; in some embodiments, the downloaded financial statement is a complete financial statement (i.e., a comprehensive statement that integrates the three tables described above).
Step S104: the financial statement view 28 is generated from the company's financial statements. After downloading the financial statements for the first selected company, the financial statements module 22 generates a financial statements view 28 showing the financial values for the first selected company based on the downloaded financial statements, as shown in FIG. 3A.
Step S105: receiving a financial value selecting instruction to obtain a first financial item corresponding to the first selected financial value. After the user clicks on a financial value (generates the select financial value command), as shown in fig. 4, the selected financial value 32 (illustrated as "47.39") is marked with a special effect (illustrated as a large font and bottom line), and the condition selection module 24 stores the selected financial value 32 (referred to as "first selected financial value", illustrated as "47.39") and the corresponding financial item (referred to as "first financial item", illustrated as "gross margin") in the memory 14.
Step S106: the receiving condition generating instruction generates the first financial item and the first selected financial value as a first financial condition. When the user selects a financial value, the state of the generation condition button 30 is changed to "clickable", and when the user clicks the generation condition button 30, the condition selection module 24 displays the financial condition (referred to as "first financial condition") composed of the selected financial value 32 and the corresponding financial item in the pop-up window 34 for the user to confirm, as shown in fig. 5, the user clicks the confirmation button to generate the condition generation instruction, and the condition selection module 24 generates the first financial condition (the legend is "season gross profit rate > 47.39%").
Step S107: the first financial criteria are communicated to the data screening module 26 for screening. After the user clicks the confirmation key, the condition selecting module 24 transmits the first financial condition to the data filtering module 26 to filter the stocks meeting the first financial condition. In some embodiments, the data filtering module 26 is disposed on the server side; in some embodiments, the data filtering module 26 is disposed at the device side.
