The same or equivalent constituent elements, members, and processes shown in the respective drawings are denoted by the same reference numerals, and overlapping descriptions are appropriately omitted. The embodiments are not intended to limit the invention and are merely examples, and all the features and combinations thereof described in the embodiments are not necessarily essential to the invention.
The washing apparatus 10 shown in fig. 1 is a washing apparatus capable of automatically performing washing from hand washing to drying.
The washing apparatus 10 shown in fig. 1 is a counter type washing apparatus installed in a counter 102. The washing apparatus 10 includes a washbasin 12 made of pottery and a functional unit 14 attached to the back side of the washbasin 12. The washbowl 12 may be made of ceramics, for example, resin.
The function unit 14 has a case 16, and various functional components are housed in the case 16. A water outlet 18 is provided at substantially the center of the front surface 16a of the housing 16. A hand sanitizer discharge port 20 is provided on the left side of front surface 16a of case 16 as viewed from the front. A human body detection sensor (not shown) is provided directly above the water outlet 18 and the discharge port 20. The human body detection sensor provided directly above the water outlet 18 and the discharge port 20 may be a sensor that detects only the presence/absence of a hand of a user.
In the washing apparatus 10, if a hand is put in front of the discharge port 20 of the hand sanitizer, the motion of the motion is detected by the human body detection sensor provided directly above the discharge port 20, and the mousse-like hand sanitizer (air is mixed with the hand sanitizer to form a foam) is automatically discharged from the discharge port 20. Instead of mousse-like hand sanitizer, liquid or gel-like hand sanitizer may be discharged from the discharge port 20.
If the hand is put in front of the water outlet 18, a human body detection sensor provided directly above the water outlet 18 detects this motion and automatically discharges water from the water outlet 18.
Further, a blow-out port 24 of the hand dryer 22 is provided on the right side of the front surface 16a of the casing 16 as viewed from the front. The hand dryer 22 includes a human body detection sensor (not shown) directly above the air outlet 24. When the wet hands after washing are extended to the front of the air outlet 24, the hand dryer 22 automatically blows air from the air outlet 24 into the wash basin 12 based on the detection by the human body detection sensor, and dries the wet hands.
As shown in fig. 2, the hand dryer 22 includes a blowout port 24, a blowout nozzle 30, a blowout port varying device 28, a human body detection sensor 26, a hand dryer main body (not shown), and a blast pipe 29.
As shown in fig. 2, the air outlet 24 is formed in a slit shape elongated in the right and left direction. The outlet nozzle 30 is provided in front of the outlet port 24, and is arranged to guide the air from the outlet port 24 obliquely downward.
The hand dryer body has a fan and a motor and is disposed in the lower part of the cabinet 102. The hand dryer body and the blow-out opening 24 are connected by a blast duct 29 formed of a flexible hose. In the hand dryer 22, when the human body detection sensor 26 detects that the hand of the user is extended to the front of the air outlet 24, heated air is sent out from the hand dryer main body to the air outlet 24 through the air duct 29. The air blown out from the air outlet 24 is blown out into the interior of the washbasin 12 as warm air for hand drying by the air outlet nozzle 30. The heater may be provided in the middle of the air passage such as the outlet 24 and the air supply duct 29.
In the facial washing device 10 of the present embodiment, the human body detection sensor 26 is a sensor that detects information on the hand of the user, and an image sensor is preferably used. The human body detection sensor 26 is configured to be able to detect not only the presence/absence of the hand of the user but also the position and size of the hand of the user based on the captured image.
The air outlet variable device 28 adjusts the position and size of the opening of the air outlet 24 based on the information detected by the human body detection sensor 26 (i.e., the information on the position and size of the hand). Outlet variable device 28 is housed in casing 16. The outlet variable devices 28 are disposed on the left and right sides of the slit-shaped outlet 24. Hereinafter, the outlet variable device disposed on the left side of the outlet 24 in front view is referred to as "outlet variable device 28L" and the corresponding movable plate is referred to as "movable plate 31L", as appropriate. Similarly, the outlet variable device disposed on the right side of the outlet 24 in front view is referred to as "outlet variable device 28R", and the corresponding movable plate is referred to as "movable plate 31R".
The outlet variable device 28 includes a movable plate 31 disposed so as to be able to cover a part of the outlet 24, and an actuator 32 that moves the movable plate 31 in the left-right direction. The actuator 32 moves the movable plate 31 in the left-right direction based on the information detected by the human body detection sensor 26. By moving the movable plate 31 in the left-right direction, at least one of the position and the size of the opening of the air outlet 24 can be changed, and the blowing position, the blowing range, the air volume, and the like of the warm air can be adjusted. Some operation examples will be described below.
First, an example of the operation of the outlet variable device 28 according to the position of the hand will be described. As shown in the flowchart of fig. 3, the human body detection sensor 26 detects the position of the hand of the user (S10), and the air outlet variable device 28 adjusts the position of the opening of the air outlet 24 based on the position information of the hand.
Specifically, the outlet variable devices 28L,28R determine whether or not the hand position is located at the center in the left-right direction of the outlet 24 (S12). When the hand position is located at the center of the air outlet 24 in the left-right direction (yes at S12), the air outlet variable devices 28L,28R move the movable plates 31L,31R, respectively, and dispose the opening at the center of the air outlet 24 in the left-right direction (S14). On the other hand, when the hand position is not located at the center in the left-right direction of the air outlet 24 (no in S12), the air outlet variable devices 28L,28R determine whether or not the hand position is shifted to the left side with respect to the center in the left-right direction of the air outlet 24 (S16).
When the hand position is shifted leftward with respect to the center in the left-right direction of the air outlet 24 (yes at S16), the air outlet variable device 28L moves the movable plate 31L leftward, and the air outlet variable device 28R also moves the movable plate 31R leftward, so that the opening portion can be shifted leftward with respect to the center in the left-right direction of the air outlet 24 (S18). On the other hand, when the hand position is shifted to the right side with respect to the center in the left-right direction of the air outlet 24 (no in S16), the air outlet variable device 28L moves the movable plate 31L to the right side, and the air outlet variable device 28R also moves the movable plate 31R to the right side, thereby shifting the opening to the right side with respect to the center in the left-right direction of the air outlet 24 (S20).
In this way, the position of the opening of the air outlet 24 is adjusted in the left-right direction in accordance with the position of the hand of the user, so that warm air can be efficiently blown out with respect to the hand of the user, and the hand can be appropriately dried.
Next, an example of the operation of the outlet variable device 28 according to the size of the hand will be described. As shown in the flowchart of fig. 4, the human body detection sensor 26 detects the size of the hand of the user (S30), and the air outlet variable device 28 adjusts the size of the opening of the air outlet 24 based on the information of the size of the hand.
Specifically, the outlet variable devices 28L,28R determine whether or not the size of the hand is a predetermined value (S32). The "predetermined value" is set to, for example, the size of a hand of a standard adult. When the hand size is a predetermined value (yes at S32), the outlet variable devices 28L and 28R move the movable plates 31L and 31R, respectively, so that the opening portions become a predetermined size (S34). The "predetermined size" is set to a size suitable for, for example, the hand of an adult who is used for the drying standard. On the other hand, when the hand size is not the predetermined value (no in S32), the outlet port variable devices 28L,28R determine whether or not the hand size is larger than the predetermined value (S36).
When the size of the hand is larger than the predetermined value (yes in S36), the outlet variable device 28L moves the movable plate 31L to the left side, and the outlet variable device 28R moves the movable plate 31R to the right side to enlarge the opening (S38). This makes it possible to blow warm air over a wide range of a large hand and appropriately dry the hand. On the other hand, when the hand size is smaller than the predetermined value (no in S36), the outlet variable device 28L moves the movable plate 31L to the right side, and the outlet variable device 28R moves the movable plate 31R to the left side, thereby narrowing the opening (S40). This makes it possible to blow warm air of a stronger volume to a small hand and appropriately dry the hand.
Next, an example of the operation of the outlet variable device 28 according to the hand gesture will be described. As shown in the flowchart of fig. 5, the human body detection sensor 26 detects a hand gesture of the user (S50), and the air outlet variable device 28 adjusts the position and size of the opening of the air outlet 24 based on the information of the hand gesture (S52). For example, when a gesture such as pinching a thumb or an index finger is made, the outlet variable devices 28L,28R move the movable plates 31L,31R so that the opening portions become small. This makes it possible to locally blow out a strong volume of warm air.
In the above-described operation example, the position adjustment and the size adjustment of the opening portion of the air outlet 24 are described separately. The position adjustment and the size adjustment of the opening portion of the air outlet 24 can be performed simultaneously.
The present invention has been described above based on the embodiments. The present embodiment is merely exemplary, and it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications can be made within the scope of the claims of the present invention, and such changes and modifications are also included in the scope of the claims of the present invention. Accordingly, the description and drawings in this specification are not to be taken in a limiting sense and are to be regarded in an illustrative sense.
Unlike the above-described embodiment, the human body detection sensor 26 is configured to detect only the position of the hand and the size of the hand.
Unlike the above embodiments, the wash apparatus may be wall-mounted.
Unlike the above embodiments, for example, a hand dryer may be used to dry small objects such as toothbrushes, glasses, and the like. In this case, the human body detection sensor may be configured to detect at least one of the position and the size of the small object, and the air outlet variable device may be configured to adjust the position and the size of the opening of the air outlet based on the detected information.
The mechanism for realizing the position adjustment and the size adjustment of the opening portion of the air outlet 24 may be different from the above-described embodiment. For example, two sheets provided with a plurality of slits are prepared, and the sheets are arranged to overlap each other. At least one of the plates is moved in the direction in which the slits are arranged, and the slits are overlapped to open the opening, and the slits are displaced to close the opening. The above position adjustment and size adjustment can be achieved by moving the plate by appropriately setting the shape and size of the slit.
