Description

Map display method and device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to map display technologies, and in particular, to a map display method, a map display apparatus, and a computer readable medium.
Background
The map is an image symbolic model which reflects objective reality in a certain mathematical rule (namely modeling), symbolization and abstraction manner or is called as a graphic mathematical model. The map uses map language to reflect the natural and human phenomena on the earth (or other stars) on the plane in a reduced way by drawing synthesis according to a certain mathematical rule, thereby reflecting the spatial distribution, combination, connection, quantity and quality characteristics of various phenomena and the development and change of the phenomena in time.
At present, with the benefit of the wide application of electronic devices such as computers and mobile phones in cartography, maps are no longer limited to being represented on paper (or similar media) by symbols and graphics, and can be stored on magnetic media in a digital form or visually processed and represented on a screen, so as to provide a route planning and guiding function for users who go out or are about to go out.
However, because of the complex urban roads and the standing of high buildings, it is not easy to find the destination position quickly in a complicated urban map. Particularly, in the case where the user does not know a specific address of a destination or the destination address is too complicated to facilitate the user's input, the act of looking up a destination by referring to a paper or electronic map may seriously distract the user, thereby causing a traffic hazard.
Therefore, there is a need in the art for a map display technique to quickly switch a local area in a displayed map according to user requirements so that a user can quickly find its destination.

As shown in fig. 1, the map display method provided in this embodiment may include the steps of:
101: map data is acquired.
In the map display method of the present embodiment, the map data may cover a first-level administrative area (e.g., shanghai city), wherein the shanghai city may further include a plurality of second-level administrative areas belonging to the shanghai city, such as huangpu area, xuhui area, chaning area, etc.
The map display device can acquire offline local map data from the local memory, and can also acquire online map data from the cloud server.
The map display device includes, but is not limited to, a mobile phone, a vehicle-mounted computer, and other electronic devices. Accordingly, the cloud server includes, but is not limited to, a cloud navigation server communicatively connected to the map display device.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that, in the present embodiment, by using offline map data pre-stored in the local storage, a user can acquire map data within a desired map range at any time even in an environment without a network.
In another embodiment, the online map data obtained from the cloud server has better real-time performance than the offline map data. Therefore, by using the online map data acquired from the cloud server, the user can acquire real-time accurate map data, thereby more accurately switching different local areas on the map to find the destination thereof.
It can be understood that the user can select whether to adopt the scheme of obtaining the offline local map data from the local memory or the scheme of obtaining the online map data from the cloud server by operating the user interface of the map display device.
In order to more accurately display a certain partial area in the map according to the user's needs so that the user can find its destination faster, the map data may include a plurality of sets of sub-map data.
With further reference to fig. 2, fig. 2 illustrates a display diagram of the shanghai and the counties maps thereof provided according to an aspect of the present invention.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the map display device may first obtain the map data of the map of shanghai and the administrative division data of shanghai according to the map range (for example, shanghai) selected by the user on the user interface thereof, so as to determine the sub-map data of each county of shanghai according to the map data of the map of shanghai and the administrative division data of shanghai.
As shown in fig. 1, in the map display method provided in this embodiment, the method may further include the steps of:
102: and distributing display data for each level of administrative regions.
The display data includes, but is not limited to, font size data, image outline data, and background color data.
In order to facilitate users who are not familiar with local conditions to distinguish the affiliations of different administrative areas, in the map display method provided in this embodiment, first-level display data may be allocated to the map data in shanghai city, and different second-level display data may be allocated to sub-map data in each second-level administrative area, such as huangpu area, xuhui area, and chaning area.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the map display apparatus may assign a large size, a black image outline, and primary display data without a background color to the map data of shanghai city. Correspondingly, the map display device can also allocate secondary display data of medium-size numbers, gray image outlines and different background colors for sub-map data of Shanghai districts such as the Baoshan district, the Jiading district and the Qingpu district.
It can be understood by those skilled in the art that the above scheme of allocating primary display data to map data in shanghai city and allocating secondary display data to sub-map data in shanghai counties such as baoshan district, jiading district, and kupu district is only a preferred scheme provided in this embodiment, and is mainly used for informing users of subordination relationships between different administrative areas, for example: the Baoshan area of the middle-size is a subordinate administrative area of Shanghai city belonging to the large-size; and the Songjiang area with the yellow background of the medium-size character and the Qingpu area with the red background of the medium-size character are administrative areas of the same level, so that a user can conveniently screen areas and narrow map ranges layer by layer to find the destination of the map.
In other embodiments, those skilled in the art may also adopt other display schemes to distinguish different levels of administrative regions, or display the entire map with the same display data on a basic basis.
As shown in fig. 1, in the map display method provided in this embodiment, the method may further include the steps of:
103: and displaying a map of the first-level administrative area according to the display data.
Corresponding to the above preferred scheme of allocating different display data to administrative regions of different levels, the map display method provided in this embodiment may further display a shanghai map according to the map data and the primary display data of shanghai city, and display, on the shanghai map, each prefecture map corresponding to the sub-map data of each prefecture of shanghai, jiading region, kupu region, and the like, respectively, according to the sub-map data of each prefecture of shanghai and the secondary display data corresponding thereto.
As shown in fig. 2, in the map display method provided in this embodiment, in order for the user to view the map more clearly, the map display apparatus may further display the shanghai map in a minimum bounding rectangle according to the map data of the shanghai city and the primary display data.
The minimum enclosing rectangle may be a rectangle determined by using longitude lines of the most east point and the most west point of the sea map as longitudinal lines and latitude lines of the most south point and the most north point of the sea map as transverse lines.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the above-described scheme for determining the smallest enclosing rectangle is only one specific scheme provided for the public to better understand the concept of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 2, in order to better conform to the observation habit of the user, in the map display method provided in this embodiment, the longitude and latitude range of the rectangle may be appropriately expanded to sufficiently display the specific position of shanghai and the adjacent administrative areas around the shanghai.
In other embodiments, based on the concept of the present invention, a person skilled in the art may determine the minimum bounding rectangle by using the highest point, the lowest point, the leftmost point and the rightmost point of the shanghai map displayed on the user interface as references in response to the user rotating the shanghai map.
As shown in fig. 1, in the map display method provided in this embodiment, the method may further include the steps of:
104: in response to receiving the selection information, a map of the secondary administrative area corresponding to the selection information is displayed in accordance with the display data.
The selection information may be a trigger signal generated by a user clicking a user interface such as a touch screen of a mobile phone or a vehicle-mounted computer, and the map display device may acquire the selection information from the user interface to perform a corresponding operation.
Referring further to fig. 3, fig. 3 illustrates a display diagram of a prefecture menu of shanghai provided according to an aspect of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, the map display apparatus may display the prefecture-to-prefecture menus in the shanghai in response to the user long-pressing or double-clicking the map in the user interface. The Shanghai district menu may include index buttons corresponding to Huangpu district, Xuhui district, Changning district, and other secondary administrative areas belonging to Shanghai city, for the user to select.
In the map display method provided in this embodiment, in response to obtaining selection information from the user interface that the user clicks a certain second-level administrative area (for example, a quiet zone), the map display device may determine sub-map data of the quiet zone and second-level display data corresponding to the sub-map data according to the selection information, and display the map of the quiet zone with the minimum enclosing rectangle according to the sub-map data of the quiet zone and the second-level display data corresponding to the sub-map data of the quiet zone.
Referring further to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating a display of a quiet zone according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, by adopting the above-described scheme of displaying the map of the dead zone with the minimum enclosing rectangle, the map of the dead zone can be enlarged to cover the entire display screen of the map display device and be displayed centrally on the map display device, so that the user can more accurately find his destination or further search the next level of administrative area.
Optionally, in the map display method provided in this embodiment, in order to facilitate the user to distinguish the map range of the quiet zone from the map ranges of other zones more clearly, the map display apparatus may further highlight the local area corresponding to the sub-map data of the quiet zone, so as to highlight the local area corresponding to the quiet zone in the Shanghai map.
In addition, in order to facilitate the user to clearly view the map of the selected administrative area, the map display apparatus may close the above-described each prefecture and county menu of shanghai while displaying the map of the quiet district in the smallest enclosing rectangle to clearly display the map contents.
In the map display method provided in this embodiment, a function of quickly switching the administrative areas is also preferably provided, so as to prevent the user from mistakenly clicking the administrative areas and opening a wrong administrative area map.
Referring further to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic display diagram illustrating a prefecture menu on the map display of the quiet district according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 5, the user may double-click or long-press any map area outside the map range of the dead zone to trigger the function of quickly switching the administrative area.
In response to receiving the switching information acquired from the user interface, the map display apparatus may acquire corresponding map data of a currently displayed map (i.e., a calming zone map) to determine a map area of the currently displayed map.
In response to determining that the map data corresponding to the currently displayed map is sub-map data of the quiet zone, the map area of the currently displayed map may be determined to be the quiet zone, and the map display device may again display the above-described each district and county menu in shanghai. The Shanghai district menu may include index buttons corresponding to sub-map data of Huangpu district, Xuhui district, Changning district, and other secondary administrative areas belonging to Shanghai city, for the user to select.
In response to receiving selection information obtained from the user interface and indicating that the user clicks another secondary administrative area (e.g., huangpu district), the map display device may determine sub-map data of the huangpu district and corresponding secondary display data according to the selection information, and display a map of the huangpu district (secondary administrative area) with the minimum enclosing rectangle according to the sub-map data of the huangpu district and corresponding secondary display data, thereby implementing a function of quickly switching the administrative areas.
Preferably, in order to facilitate the user to narrow down the map range layer by layer to quickly find the destination thereof, the map display method provided by the embodiment may further display the local area of the current map layer by layer.
In other words, the second-level administrative area subordinate to the shanghai city, for example, the quiet zone, may further include a plurality of third-level administrative areas subordinate to the street level of the quiet zone.
The map display method provided by the embodiment may further allocate different third-level display data to the secondary sub-map data of each street (third-level administrative area).
In response to receiving selection information obtained from the user interface and used for clicking a certain three-level administrative area (such as a temple street in a quiet area) by the user, the map display device can determine secondary sub-map data of the temple street and corresponding three-level display data according to the selection information, and display a map of the temple street in a minimum enclosing rectangle according to the secondary sub-map data of the temple street and the corresponding three-level display data.
In the map display method provided in this embodiment, a function of returning to the upper-level administrative area map is preferably provided to avoid that the user mistakenly clicks the administrative area and opens the wrong administrative area map.
To put it differently, the user can click a return button provided in the map display apparatus to input return information.
In response to receiving the return information from the user interface, the map display device may obtain corresponding map data of a currently displayed map (e.g., a map of streets of a temple) to determine a map area of the currently displayed map.
In response to that the map data corresponding to the currently displayed map is the secondary sub-map data of the temple street, the map display device can judge that the map area of the currently displayed map is the temple street (third-level administrative area), and further can display the map of the temple area (second-level administrative area) according to the sub-map data of the temple area to which the secondary sub-map data of the temple street belongs and the corresponding second-level display data.
Accordingly, in response to re-receiving the above-described return information acquired from the user interface, the map display apparatus may re-acquire the corresponding map data of the currently displayed map (i.e., the map of the calming zone) to determine the map region of the currently displayed map.
In response to the sub-map data of the quiet area corresponding to the map currently being displayed, the map display device may determine that the map area of the map currently being displayed is the quiet area (second-level administrative area), and may display the shanghai map according to the map data of the shanghai city to which the sub-map data of the quiet area belongs and the first-level display data corresponding thereto.
Preferably, the map display device may further include a super return button for directly returning the first-level administrative area map (i.e., the shanghai map in the present embodiment).
In response to receiving the return information corresponding to the super return button acquired from the user interface, the map display apparatus may display the Shanghai map directly based on the map data of Shanghai city (first-class administrative area) and the first-class display data corresponding thereto.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the above-described return button and the above-described super return button are merely illustrative for facilitating understanding of the public, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. The return button and the super return button may be physical buttons provided on the map display device, or button graphics displayed on the user interface, or even operation rules preset in the map display device (for example, a Backspace key is tapped to instruct the map display device to execute the return operation, and a Shift key + Backspace key is tapped to instruct the map display device to execute the super return operation).
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the above cases of the sea city being a first-level administrative region, the district-level administrative regions such as huangpu district and quiet district being a second-level administrative region, and the street-level administrative regions such as quiet street being a third-level administrative region are only for more clearly disclosing the concept of the present invention and providing the public with a solution for implementing the present invention, and are not intended to limit the protection scope of the present invention.
In another embodiment, based on the concept of the present invention, a person skilled in the art may also use a country as a first-level administrative region, a province-level administrative region as a second-level administrative region, and a city-level administrative region as a third-level administrative region, and so on, to implement layer-by-layer display of more levels of map data, so as to visually describe the affiliations of each administrative region, such as country, county, town, and country, on a map.
