The invention provides a method for dismantling a reinforced concrete chimney, which comprises the following steps:

cutting off the steel bars in the horizontal direction in the chimney wall at the cut slot which vertically penetrates through the chimney wall;
step five, cutting a slot along the horizontal direction at the outer side of the chimney cylinder wall at the bottom of the divided unit disassembly block, wherein the depth of the slot is smaller than the thickness of the chimney cylinder wall; the depth of a slot cut on the outer side of the chimney wall along the horizontal direction is half of the thickness of the chimney wall;
sixthly, cutting off the steel bars in the vertical direction in the chimney wall at the seam groove penetrating through the chimney wall in the horizontal direction;
