FIG. 1 is a flow chart of an embodiment of a method for remotely managing stacking system member devices provided herein;
step 101, determining that the stacking system is split.
And 102, sending a local multi-activation detection message and receiving an opposite-end multi-activation detection message through a direct connection detection link.
And 103, judging that the equipment is in an activated state in the stacking system based on the opposite-end multi-activation detection message.
And 104, receiving an opposite terminal management address notification message through the direct connection detection link.
The opposite end management address notification message contains an opposite end management special MAC address and an opposite end management special IP address of member equipment in a recovery state in the stacking system.
Step 105, generating a static management private address resolution table entry.
The static management private address resolution table entry records: the peer management private IP address corresponds to the peer management private MAC address and a local port of the direct connection detection link connection.
And 106, establishing a remote login session with the remote network management equipment according to the management IP address of the stacking system configured by the local management interface.
The remote network management equipment logs in the member equipment in the activated state, establishes a remote login session with the member equipment switched to the recovery state by using a static management special address resolution table (static ARP table) on the member equipment in the activated state, and manages the member equipment in the recovery state.
The method and the device have the advantages that in the stacking system for performing MAD processing by using the dedicated direct connection detection link, member equipment in a recovery state of a network interface is closed through out-of-band network management, and the universality is high.
FIG. 2 provides a schematic diagram of an embodiment of a stacking system according to the present application; in fig. 2, the member devices 21 and 22 of the stacking system 20 are connected by a stacking link; the member devices 21 and 22 are also connected by a direct connection detection link. The port 211 of the member device 21 connected to the direct connection detection link is configured with a management private IP address 1P1, and the port 221 of the member device 22 connected to the direct connection detection link is configured with a management private IP address 1P 2.
In this embodiment, the member device 21 is a master device of the stacking system 20, and the member device 22 is a slave device. When the stacking link between the member devices 21 and 22 is disconnected, the member device 21 determines that the stacking system 20 is split, and sends a MAD detection message (not shown) on the direct connection detection link; likewise, the member device 22 determines that the stacking system 20 is split and sends MAD detection messages (not shown) on the direct connection detection link.
The member device 21 receives the MAD detection message from the member device 22, and determines whether the device is kept activated in the stacking system 20. For example, the election policy of the stacking system 20 is that the device with the minimum member device identifier remains in an activated state, and the device identifier carried in the MAD detection message received by the member device 21 is larger; or the election policy of the stacking system 20 is that the device with the highest device priority maintains the activated state, and the device priority carried in the MAD detection packet received by the member device 21 is lower; or the election policy of the stacking system 20 is that the device with the highest forwarding specification maintains the activated state, and the forwarding specification carried by the MAD detection message received by the member device 21 is smaller. The member device 21 determines that the device remains active.
Correspondingly, the member device 22 receives the MAD detection packet from the member device 21, and determines that the device should be switched to the recovery state in the stacking system 20 according to the election policy.
The member device 22 closes the local service port and the local management interface, and sends an LLDP protocol packet 222 through the port 221, where the destination MAC address is a multicast MAC address, the source MAC address is a port 221 special MAC address, and the destination MAC address is composed of a MAC prefix, a Domain identifier (Domain ID) of the stacking system 20, and a member device identifier (Active ID) of the member device 22. The LLDP protocol message 222 management address TLV (Type/Length/Value) field carries the IP address IP2 of the port 221.
The member device 21 receives the LLDP protocol message 222, learns LLDP neighbors, generates a static ARP entry according to the learned LLDP neighbors, and records the special MAC address of the member device 22 corresponding to the IP2 and the port 211 that receives the LLDP protocol message 222.
The member device 21 establishes a telnet (telecommunications network protocol) telnet session with the remote network management device according to the management IP address and MAC address of the stack system 20 configured by the network interface (not shown), the remote network management device logs in the member device 21 remotely, and then establishes a telnet session with the member device 22 according to the static ARP entry of the member device 21, so as to manage the member device 22. If there is a login authentication, the authentication needs to be released on the private link and the private address.
When the stack link between the member devices 21 and 22 is restored and the stack system 20 is reconfigured, the member device 21 deletes the static ARP entry, thereby prohibiting the remote network management device from remotely logging into the member device 22 via the static ARP entry. The member device 22 reopens the service port and the management interface, and the remote network management device performs remote management through the management IP address and the MAC address of the stacking system 20 configured by the management interface of the member device 22.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2, if the member device 22 determines to maintain the active state according to the received MAD detection packet, the same processing as that of the member device 21 is performed; similarly, if the member device 21 determines to switch to the recovery state according to the received MAD detection packet, the same processing as that of the member device 22 is performed, which is not described in detail herein. After the member device 21 switches to the recovery state, the LLDP protocol packet may be sent through the port 211 after closing the local service port and the management interface, where the destination MAC address is a multicast MAC address, the source MAC address is a special MAC address of the port 211, and the management address TLV field carries the IP address IP1 of the port 211, where the MAC prefix, the Domain identifier (Domain ID) of the stacking system 20, and the member device identifier (Active ID) of the member device 21.
