The task display device in the embodiment of the present application may be a device, or may be a component, an integrated circuit, or a chip in a terminal. The device can be mobile electronic equipment or non-mobile electronic equipment. The task display device in the embodiment of the present application may be a device having an operating system. The operating system may be an Android (Android) operating system, an ios operating system, or other possible operating systems, and embodiments of the present application are not limited specifically.
The task display device provided in the embodiment of the present application can implement each process implemented by the above method embodiment, and is not described here again to avoid repetition.

The electronic device 400 includes, but is not limited to: radio unit 401, network module 402, audio output unit 403, input unit 404, sensor 405, display unit 406, user input unit 407, interface unit 408, memory 409, and processor 410.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the electronic device 400 may further include a power source (e.g., a battery) for supplying power to various components, and the power source may be logically connected to the processor 410 through a power management system, so as to implement functions of managing charging, discharging, and power consumption through the power management system. The electronic device structure shown in fig. 13 does not constitute a limitation of the electronic device, and the electronic device may include more or less components than those shown, or combine some components, or arrange different components, and thus, the description is omitted here.

Therefore, by displaying the application icons corresponding to the plurality of tasks on the display interface and displaying the application thumbnail corresponding to at least one task, the tasks can be entered through the application icons or the application thumbnails, and the application thumbnails can be indexed and searched by using the application icons, so that a user can quickly locate a desired task through the application icons, and the task display effect is good.
Optionally, the user input unit 407 is further configured to:
receiving a second input to the first display area;

receiving a fifth input of an application icon displayed in the first display area;

It should be understood that in the embodiment of the present application, the input Unit 404 may include a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) 4041 and a microphone 4042, and the Graphics processor 4041 processes image data of a still picture or a video obtained by an image capturing device (such as a camera) in a video capturing mode or an image capturing mode. The display unit 406 may include a display panel 4061, and the display panel 4061 may be configured in the form of a liquid crystal display, an organic light emitting diode, or the like. The user input unit 407 includes a touch panel 4071 and other input devices 4072. A touch panel 4071, also referred to as a touch screen. The touch panel 4071 may include two parts, a touch detection device and a touch controller. Other input devices 4072 may include, but are not limited to, a physical keyboard, function keys (e.g., volume control keys, switch keys, etc.), a trackball, a mouse, and a joystick, which are not described in detail herein. The memory 409 may be used to store software programs as well as various data including, but not limited to, application programs and an operating system. The processor 410 may integrate an application processor, which primarily handles operating systems, user interfaces, applications, etc., and a modem processor, which primarily handles wireless communications. It will be appreciated that the modem processor described above may not be integrated into the processor 410.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a readable storage medium, where a program or an instruction is stored on the readable storage medium, and when the program or the instruction is executed by a processor, the program or the instruction implements each process of the task display method embodiment, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
The processor is the processor in the electronic device described in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes a computer readable storage medium, such as a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a magnetic disk or an optical disk, and so on.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a chip, where the chip includes a processor and a communication interface, the communication interface is coupled to the processor, and the processor is configured to run a program or an instruction to implement each process of the task display method embodiment, and can achieve the same technical effect, and the details are not repeated here to avoid repetition.
It should be understood that the chips mentioned in the embodiments of the present application may also be referred to as system-on-chip, system-on-chip or system-on-chip, etc.

Claims (15)

1. A method for displaying tasks, the method comprising:
receiving a first input of a user;
responding to the first input, displaying application program icons corresponding to a plurality of tasks in a first display area of the display interface, and displaying an application interface thumbnail corresponding to at least one task in the plurality of tasks in a second display area of the display interface;
the number of the application program icons displayed in the first display area is larger than that of the application interface thumbnails displayed in the second display area.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving a second input to the first display area;
and responding to the second input, and updating the application interface thumbnail related to the application program icon corresponding to the second input to the second display area for displaying.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the first display region comprises a preset sub-region, wherein the second input is used to locate a first target application icon in the preset sub-region, and wherein the first target application icon is at least one of the application icons displayed in the first display region;
the updating the application interface thumbnail associated with the application icon corresponding to the second input to the second display area for display comprises:
and updating the application interface thumbnail associated with the first target application program icon to the second display area for display.
4. The method according to claim 2, wherein displaying application icons corresponding to a plurality of tasks in the first display area of the display interface comprises:
dividing the application program icons corresponding to the tasks into at least two types of application program icons;
respectively displaying the at least two types of application icons in different sub-areas of a first display area of the display interface;
the second input is input to a first type of application program icon, and the first type of application program icon is one type of application program icon in the at least two types of application program icons;
the updating the application interface thumbnail associated with the application icon corresponding to the second input to the second display area for display comprises:
and updating the application interface thumbnail related to the first-class application program icon to the second display area for display.
5. The method according to claim 1, wherein after the application icons corresponding to the plurality of tasks are displayed in the first display area of the display interface, the method further comprises:
receiving a third input to the first display area;
in response to the third input, displaying a plurality of alphabetic identifiers, one alphabetic identifier for each of the application icons;
receiving a fourth input of a target letter identification of the plurality of letter identifications;
and responding to the fourth input, and displaying an application program icon corresponding to the target letter identification.
6. The method of claim 2, wherein the first display region comprises a first sub-region and a second sub-region, and the second display region comprises a third sub-region and a fourth sub-region;
the updating the application interface thumbnail associated with the application icon corresponding to the second input to the second display area for display comprises:
updating an application interface thumbnail displayed by the first sub-area and associated with an application icon corresponding to the second input to the third sub-area for display if the second input is input to the first sub-area;
updating an application interface thumbnail displayed by the second sub-area and associated with an application icon corresponding to the second input to the fourth sub-area for display if the second input is input to the second sub-area;
and under the condition that the second input is input to the first sub-area and the second sub-area at the same time, updating the application interface thumbnail displayed by the first sub-area and associated with the application icon corresponding to the second input to the third sub-area for display, and updating the application interface thumbnail displayed by the second sub-area and associated with the application icon corresponding to the second input to the fourth sub-area for display.
7. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, further comprising:
receiving a fifth input of an application icon displayed in the first display area;
and responding to the fifth input, and displaying an application interface corresponding to a second target application program icon, wherein the second target application program icon is the application program icon corresponding to the fifth input.
8. A task display apparatus, characterized in that the apparatus comprises:
the first receiving module is used for receiving a first input of a user;
the first display module is used for responding to the first input, displaying application program icons corresponding to a plurality of tasks in a first display area of the display interface, and displaying an application interface thumbnail corresponding to at least one task in the plurality of tasks in a second display area of the display interface;
the number of the application program icons displayed in the first display area is larger than that of the application interface thumbnails displayed in the second display area.
9. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:
the second receiving module is used for receiving a second input to the first display area;
and the updating module is used for responding to the second input and updating the application interface thumbnail related to the application program icon corresponding to the second input to the second display area for displaying.

The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the first display region comprises a preset sub-region, wherein the second input is configured to locate a first target application icon in the preset sub-region, and wherein the first target application icon is at least one of the application icons displayed in the first display region;
the update module is specifically configured to:
and updating the application interface thumbnail associated with the first target application program icon to the second display area for display.
11. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the first display module comprises:
the dividing unit is used for dividing the application program icons corresponding to the tasks into at least two types of application program icons;
the display unit is used for respectively displaying the at least two types of application program icons in different sub-areas of a first display area of the display interface;
the second input is input to a first type of application program icon, and the first type of application program icon is one type of application program icon in the at least two types of application program icons;
the update module is specifically configured to:
and updating the application interface thumbnail related to the first-class application program icon to the second display area for display.
12. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:
a third receiving module, configured to receive a third input to the first display area;
a second display module for displaying a plurality of letter designations in response to the third input, each of the application icons corresponding to a letter designation;
a fourth receiving module for receiving a fourth input of a target letter identification of the plurality of letter identifications;
and the third display module is used for responding to the fourth input and displaying the application program icon corresponding to the target letter identifier.
13. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the first display region comprises a first sub-region and a second sub-region, and wherein the second display region comprises a third sub-region and a fourth sub-region;
the update module is specifically configured to:
updating an application interface thumbnail displayed by the first sub-area and associated with an application icon corresponding to the second input to the third sub-area for display if the second input is input to the first sub-area;
updating an application interface thumbnail displayed by the second sub-area and associated with an application icon corresponding to the second input to the fourth sub-area for display if the second input is input to the second sub-area;
and under the condition that the second input is input to the first sub-area and the second sub-area at the same time, updating the application interface thumbnail displayed by the first sub-area and associated with the application icon corresponding to the second input to the third sub-area for display, and updating the application interface thumbnail displayed by the second sub-area and associated with the application icon corresponding to the second input to the fourth sub-area for display.
14. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:
a fifth receiving module, configured to receive a fifth input of an application icon displayed in the first display area;
and the fourth display module is used for responding to the fifth input and displaying an application interface corresponding to a second target application program icon, wherein the second target application program icon is the application program icon corresponding to the fifth input.
15. An electronic device comprising a processor, a memory and a program or instructions stored on the memory and executable on the processor, the program or instructions when executed by the processor implementing the steps of the task display method according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
