Abstract

本申请提供一种WiFi网络下的模式切换方法及终端设备,涉及通信技术领域,用于在实现MIMO功能的同时降低终端设备的功耗。所述方法包括:在终端设备接入WiFi网络后,所述终端设备通过多输入多输出MIMO模式与提供所述WiFi网络接入服务的接入点通信;所述终端设备在所述MIMO模式下获取所述WiFi网络的第一接收信号强度和第一吞吐率;当所述第一接收信号强度大于第一强度阈值且所述第一吞吐率小于第一吞吐率阈值时,所述终端设备从所述MIMO模式切换至所述单输入单输出SISO模式。
