First embodiment of the present invention:
referring to fig. 1, fig. 2, fig. 3, and fig. 5, fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of an embodiment of a network speed limiting method provided by the present invention, fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of an embodiment of a network speed limiting system provided by the present invention, fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of an embodiment of an edge server of a network speed limit provided by the present invention, and fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of an embodiment of a central server of a network speed limit provided by the present invention. Referring to fig. 2 in particular, the system for network speed limit in the embodiment of the present invention includes a central server and a plurality of edge servers governed by the central server, where the edge servers provide domain name resolution services for a network area. For a network user in a network area, such as a mobile device user, a PC end user, etc., after the network user accesses an edge server in the network area, the edge server performs corresponding speed limiting according to user id information provided by the network user, such as ip address, operator type, user identity type, region, etc. As shown in fig. 3, the center server 10 includes a global speed limit control module 11 and a global id control module 12. Here, "global" means all edge servers 20 of the whole network governed by the center server 10. As shown in fig. 5, the edge server 20 includes an edge speed limit module 21, an edge bandwidth information acquisition module 22, and an edge id control module 23. On this basis, as shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a network speed limiting method, which is executed by an edge server 20, and specifically includes the following steps:
S10, acquiring edge bandwidth use information of a designated domain name and an edge speed limit mapping table, and reporting the information to a central server; the edge speed limit mapping table comprises user id information and an edge speed limit scheme corresponding to the user id information.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the edge bandwidth information collection module 22 on the edge server 20 collects the edge bandwidth usage information of the designated domain name on the server, and reports the edge bandwidth usage information of the designated domain name to the global speed limit control module 11 of the central server 10. It should be appreciated that the edge bandwidth information collection module 22 is configured to collect edge bandwidth usage information for a specified domain name in real time, such that the bandwidth usage information reported to the global speed limit control module 11 is the current bandwidth usage information for the domain name. When the edge bandwidth information collection modules 22 in all the edge servers 20 report the collected bandwidth usage information of the designated domain name to the global speed limit control module 11 of the central server 10, the global speed limit control module 11 can collect and sort all the reported bandwidth usage information, so as to obtain the full network bandwidth usage information of the designated domain name. In addition, the edge id control module 23 on the edge server 20 collects the user id information on the edge server and the edge speed limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information, and establishes an edge speed limiting mapping table through the user id information and the edge speed limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information. It will be appreciated that the edge speed limit mapping table may include at least user id information and its corresponding edge speed limit scheme. Based on the edge speed limit mapping table, the server can quickly find the corresponding speed limit scheme when receiving the user id information. Also, it should be noted that the "edge speed limit scheme" herein refers to a speed limit scheme for specific user id information being executed at this time on an edge server.
S20, receiving and executing a whole network speed limiting scheme issued by a central server; the whole network speed limiting scheme is generated by a central server according to the current whole network bandwidth use information of the designated domain name and/or an edge speed limiting mapping table; the full-network bandwidth use information is a set of edge bandwidth use information reported by the full-network edge server.
In the embodiment of the invention, the edge server 20 receives the whole network speed limiting scheme issued by the global speed limiting control module 11 on the central server 10. Specifically, the full network speed limiting scheme includes a first speed limiting scheme and a second speed limiting scheme. The first speed limiting scheme is obtained by calculating the current whole network bandwidth use information of the designated domain name by the central server, and the second speed limiting scheme is a speed limiting scheme corresponding to user id information stored in a central speed limiting mapping table; the central speed limit mapping table is a set of edge speed limit mapping tables reported by the whole network edge servers collected and tidied by the central server. More specifically, the first speed limit solution issued by the central server 10 is received by the edge speed limit module on the edge server 20, and the central speed limit map and the second speed limit solution contained in the central speed limit map are received by the edge id control module 23.
The first speed limiting scheme is calculated by the center server according to the current full network bandwidth use information of the designated domain name. The current full-network bandwidth usage information is summarized and consolidated by all the edge bandwidth usage information reported by the edge bandwidth information collection module 22 on all the edge servers 20. And according to the bandwidth usage information of the whole network, calculating a central speed limiting scheme based on a preset speed limiting rule. It should be appreciated that the preset speed limit rules may be manually configured. Still further, in this embodiment, the speed limit rule may be that when the bandwidth usage information of the whole network reaches the threshold R1, the speed limit scheme L1 is executed for the user to which the user id information points; when the bandwidth usage information of the whole network reaches the threshold R2, the speed limiting scheme L2 is executed for the user to which the user id information points. Wherein the threshold R2 is greater than the threshold R1. The threshold R1, the threshold R2, the speed limiting scheme L1, and the speed limiting scheme L2 may be manually configured. It should be noted that the threshold R1, the threshold R2, the speed limit scheme L1, and the speed limit scheme L2 are only examples herein, and those skilled in the art should understand that more specific speed limit rules may also be analogized based on this scheme, that is, when the bandwidth usage information of the whole network reaches the threshold R3, the speed limit scheme L3 is executed for the user to which the user id information points. For simplicity, this will not be described in detail in this specification. When bandwidth usage information falls, then the reverse is performed.
In a further implementation manner, in the step of executing the whole network speed limiting scheme, the network speed limiting method of the embodiment of the present invention further includes: and determining an edge speed limiting scheme aiming at the user id information according to the comparison of the priorities between the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme. Determining an edge speed limiting scheme to be executed on the user id information by comparing priorities between the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme; the second speed limiting scheme is a speed limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information stored in the central speed limiting mapping table. In the present case, the second speed limiting scheme is the speed limiting scheme currently being executed on the edge server. Thus, in the embodiment of the present invention, the edge speed limit scheme finally executed by the edge server is obtained after being optimized. Which is determined by comparing the first speed limit solution with a second speed limit solution currently being executed by the edge server. In the embodiment of the invention, the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme comprise bandwidth limiting values corresponding to the edge servers aiming at the appointed domain name; the prioritizing includes prioritizing according to a size of bandwidth limit values in the first speed limit scheme and the second speed limit scheme. Thus, the priority comparison between the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme is the comparison of the bandwidth limit value between the two. In this embodiment, the priority is given to the one in which the speed limit value is larger, so that the limitation that is always more tolerant to the user, that is, the larger bandwidth allowed under the current condition is always provided to the user, can be ensured. Generally, when the bandwidth rises, bandwidth limitation in the first speed limit scheme issued by the central server calculation is tightened, and the speed limit value of the first speed limit scheme is smaller than that of the speed limit scheme being executed on the edge server (namely, the corresponding second speed limit scheme in the central mapping table). At this point, the second rate-limiting scheme is still employed because it can provide the user with a correspondingly larger bandwidth. In another case, the bandwidth limit of the first rate-limiting scheme issued by the central server calculation will be relaxed when the bandwidth is reduced, and the bandwidth limit value of the first rate-limiting scheme will likely be larger than the bandwidth limit value of the second rate-limiting scheme being executed on the edge server. At this time, the first speed limit scheme is used instead of the second speed limit scheme being executed, that is, the first speed limit scheme is used as an edge speed limit scheme. For example, the current speed limiting scheme being executed on the edge server is to limit each connection by 2MB/s, while as more new users access, the overall network bandwidth usage increases, and the first speed limiting scheme issued after calculation by the central server tightens to limit each connection by 1MB/s. Based on the consideration of the maximum network speed possible for the user, the comparison between the first speed limit scheme and the second speed limit scheme is then made by selecting the second speed limit scheme (2 MB/s) currently being executed on the edge server as the edge speed limit scheme for the user. And then, disconnecting part of users from the edge server, so that the whole network bandwidth is reduced, and the central server calculates the first speed limiting scheme to be relaxed to 4MB/s according to the use condition of the whole network bandwidth, and compared with the speed limiting scheme being executed on the edge server at the moment, the first speed limiting scheme with the bandwidth limiting value of 4MB/s after recalculation at the moment is the edge speed limiting scheme. Therefore, the system keeps dynamic monitoring of the access user, the speed limit bandwidth of the access user also changes along with the condition of the whole network bandwidth, and the flexibility of speed limit of the whole system bandwidth is kept.
In other embodiments, user id information may be preconfigured, and the user id information may be further defined for the identity type of the user, for example, and may be divided into a general user and a vip user. Different speed limiting schemes are configured according to different user types, namely a preset speed limiting scheme is established for certain user id information. For example, for vip users, a preset speed limiting scheme is preconfigured in their user id information, and then the step of performing priority between the central speed limiting scheme and the first edge speed limiting scheme further includes: and comparing the priorities among the first speed limiting scheme, the second edge speed limiting scheme and the preset speed limiting scheme. It is understood that the priority levels herein may be the same as those previously described. For example, the preset speed limit scheme for the vip user is 10MB/s, the first speed limit scheme issued after the central server calculates is 5M/s, and meanwhile, the second speed limit scheme currently executed by the edge server is 2M/s, 10MB/s is preferentially selected as the edge speed limit scheme executed for the vip user.
In other embodiments, the users may also be categorized according to operators or regions, with different speed limiting schemes being employed for different operators and different regions. It should be noted that the user vip level and operator information herein are by way of example only. In other embodiments, configuration may still be based on information of the type of service, country, region, etc. included in the user id information. Meanwhile, the client can also define and configure the priority relation among the currently executed speed limiting scheme Rx, the speed limiting scheme Ry issued by the global speed limiting control module and the speed limiting scheme Rz pre-configured in the user id information.
Referring to fig. 5, the method for limiting network speed according to the embodiment of the present invention may further include the following mapping table establishment steps:
a1: receiving an access request of a user accessing an edge server, wherein the access request comprises a designated domain name and user id information;
a2: collecting user id information in an access request and a speed limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information, and establishing an edge speed limiting mapping table;
a3: reporting the edge speed limit mapping table to a central server;
a4: receiving and storing a central speed limit mapping table issued by a central server; the central speed limit mapping table is a set of edge speed limit mapping tables reported by the whole network edge servers summarized and managed by the central server.
It will be appreciated that when the edge rate limiting module executes the edge rate limiting scheme, the edge rate limiting scheme becomes the "rate limiting scheme currently being executed by the edge server" defined above after being executed by the edge rate limiting module. At this time, the edge server may establish an edge speed limit mapping table according to the user id information and the speed limit scheme being executed for the user id information. And the corresponding relation between the user id information and the speed limiting scheme is defined through the edge speed limiting mapping table. After the edge speed limiting mapping table is established, the edge speed limiting module can send the edge speed limiting mapping table to the central server, and the central server collects the edge speed limiting mapping table reported by the edge servers of the whole network in a collating mode, and then establishes the central speed limiting mapping table. And then, the central server transmits the central speed limit mapping table to the whole network edge server, and updates and replaces the edge speed limit mapping table cached in the edge server. In this way, when a new user accesses, the embodiment of the present invention further includes identifying whether the user id information of the user is already stored in the edge server, specifically, whether the user id information is stored in the center mapping table in the edge server, including the following steps:
B1: receiving an access request of a user accessing an edge server, wherein the access request comprises a designated domain name and user id information;
b2: identifying whether the user id information in the access request has a corresponding edge speed limiting scheme in a center speed limiting mapping table stored in the edge server;
if yes, executing an edge speed limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information;
if not, the first speed limiting scheme issued by the central server is directly executed as an edge speed limiting scheme.
The edge server can identify whether the user has accessed on the edge servers of the whole network through the stored central speed limit mapping table thereof to determine an edge speed limit scheme for the user. If the user has a corresponding speed limiting scheme in the central speed limiting mapping table, the speed limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information in the central speed limiting mapping table can be directly used as an edge speed limiting scheme for executing; if not, the central server can calculate a first speed limiting scheme conforming to the current bandwidth through the current full network bandwidth use condition, and then the first speed limiting scheme is used as an edge speed limiting scheme aiming at the specified user id information to be executed. Therefore, whether the user previously accesses the edge server or not, the user can be limited by the edge server when accessing the edge server. Then, returning to the previous step, namely, the edge server can establish an edge speed limit mapping table according to the user id information and the edge speed limit scheme which is being executed aiming at the user id information and report the edge speed limit mapping table to the center server; the central server gathers the edge speed limit mapping tables of the whole network, generates a central mapping table and transmits the central mapping table to the edge servers of the whole network. Meanwhile, the edge server always reports the bandwidth use information in real time, so that when the use condition of the whole network bandwidth is changed, the central server correspondingly changes the first speed limiting scheme issued after calculating according to the current use information of the whole network bandwidth. At this point, it is certainly not advisable if the previous speed limiting scheme is still being performed. Thus, as described above, in the embodiment of the present invention, a comparison is provided between the first speed limit scheme issued by the central server after calculating according to the current bandwidth usage information of the whole network and the edge speed limit scheme being executed by the edge server (i.e., the second speed limit scheme in the central speed limit mapping table stored in the edge server). In general, the comparison is based on a priority between the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme, which are relatively limited
It should be understood that the speed limit scheme issued by the central server according to the bandwidth usage situation of the whole network is defined herein as a "first speed limit scheme", the speed limit scheme stored in the central mapping table issued by the central server is defined as a "second speed limit scheme", and the speed limit scheme being executed on the edge server is defined as an edge speed limit scheme. However, the three can be mutually converted under specific conditions. For example, as previously described, after a priority comparison is made between the first speed limit solution and the second speed limit solution, the speed limit solution that is more preferentially executed for the edge server is determined. After this determining step, the first speed limit scheme is then changed to an edge speed limit scheme assuming that it is determined to be the more preferred speed limit scheme; assuming that the second speed limit scheme is determined to be the more preferred speed limit scheme, the first speed limit scheme is thereafter changed to the edge speed limit scheme. And then, because the edge server collects user id information and the corresponding executing edge speed limiting scheme thereof, an edge speed limiting mapping table is established and reported to the center server, the center server assembles the center speed limiting mapping table according to the edge speed limiting mapping table reported by the whole network edge server, and the center speed limiting mapping table is issued to the whole network edge server. Thus, at this time, the edge speed limit map, because it exists in the center speed limit map, then becomes the "second speed limit scheme" defined previously. Thus, the pre-phrases "first", "second", "edge" of "speed limiting scheme" are used for descriptive purposes only and to distinguish between applications thereof, and each speed limiting scheme may refer to the same speed limiting scheme in a particular instance.
More specifically, the present invention provides the following examples:
assume that a domain name is specified: www.xxxxxx.com
Assume a speed limit rule: 1. when the whole network bandwidth is less than or equal to 50G, executing a speed limiting scheme L1, wherein the speed limit of all new access users is 2M/S;

Based on the above description, when a user accesses, the network speed limiting method provided in the embodiment of the invention collects bandwidth usage information of the edge server, gathers the bandwidth usage information of the whole network through the center server, and calculates a speed limiting scheme for the accessed user in real time according to the bandwidth usage information of the whole network and a preset speed limiting rule. In this way, even the same user can dynamically adopt different speed limiting schemes under different bandwidth use information. In addition, as described above, the embodiment of the invention also performs the function of strengthening the self-defined speed limit on the type and the identity of the user.
