The first embodiment of the present invention:
referring to fig. 1, fig. 2, fig. 3 and fig. 5, fig. 1 is a schematic flow diagram of an embodiment of a method for limiting a network speed provided by the present invention, fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of an embodiment of a system for limiting a network speed provided by the present invention, fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of an embodiment of an edge server for limiting a network speed provided by the present invention, and fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of an embodiment of a central server for limiting a network speed provided by the present invention. Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the system for limiting the speed of the network in the embodiment of the present invention includes a central server and a plurality of edge servers managed by the central server, where the edge servers provide domain name resolution service for a network area. For a network user in a network area, such as a mobile device user, a PC end user, etc., after accessing an edge server accessing the network area, the edge server will perform a corresponding speed limit according to user id information provided by the network user, such as ip address, operator type, user identity type, area, etc. As shown in fig. 3, the central server 10 includes a global speed limit control module 11 and a global id control module 12. Here, "global" means all edge servers 20 of the entire network under the control of the central server 10. As shown in fig. 5, the edge server 20 includes an edge speed limiting module 21, an edge bandwidth information collecting module 22, and an edge id control module 23. On this basis, as shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for limiting a network speed, which is executed by an edge server 20, and specifically includes the following steps:
s10, collecting the edge bandwidth use information and the edge speed limit mapping table of the appointed domain name, and reporting to the central server; the edge speed limit mapping table comprises user id information and an edge speed limit scheme corresponding to the user id information.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the edge bandwidth information acquisition module 22 on the edge server 20 acquires the edge bandwidth usage information of the specified domain name on the server, and reports the edge bandwidth usage information of the specified domain name to the global speed limit control module 11 of the central server 10. It should be understood that the edge bandwidth information collection module 22 collects the edge bandwidth usage information of the specified domain name in real time, so that the bandwidth usage information reported to the global speed limit control module 11 is the bandwidth usage information of the current domain name. When the edge bandwidth information acquisition modules 22 in all the edge servers 20 report the acquired bandwidth usage information of the specified domain name to the global speed-limiting control module 11 of the central server 10, the global speed-limiting control module 11 may collect and sort all the reported bandwidth usage information, so as to obtain the whole network bandwidth usage information of the specified domain name. In addition, the edge id control module 23 on the edge server 20 collects the user id information on the edge server and the edge speed-limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information, and establishes an edge speed-limiting mapping table according to the user id information and the edge speed-limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information. It is understood that the edge speed limit mapping table may include at least user id information and its corresponding edge speed limit scheme. Based on the edge speed limit mapping table, the server can quickly find the corresponding speed limit scheme when receiving the user id information. Also, it should be noted that the "edge rate limiting scheme" herein refers to the rate limiting scheme for a particular user id information being executed at the time on the edge server.
S20, receiving and executing the whole network speed limit scheme issued by the central server; the whole network speed-limiting scheme is generated by a central server according to the current whole network bandwidth use information of the specified domain name and/or an edge speed-limiting mapping table; the whole network bandwidth utilization information is a set of edge bandwidth utilization information reported by a whole network edge server.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the edge server 20 receives the speed limit scheme of the whole network sent by the global speed limit control module 11 on the central server 10. Specifically, the full-network speed limiting scheme comprises a first speed limiting scheme and a second speed limiting scheme. The first speed-limiting scheme is obtained by calculation of the central server according to the current full-network bandwidth utilization information of the specified domain name, and the second speed-limiting scheme is the speed-limiting scheme which is stored in the central speed-limiting mapping table and corresponds to the user id information; the central speed limit mapping table is a collection of edge speed limit mapping tables reported by the whole network edge servers, which are collected and sorted by the central server. More specifically, the edge speed limit module on the edge server 20 receives the first speed limit scheme issued by the central server 10, and the edge id control module 23 receives the central speed limit mapping table and the second speed limit scheme included in the central speed limit mapping table.
The first speed limiting scheme is obtained by calculation of the central server according to the current full-network bandwidth utilization information of the specified domain name. The current network-wide bandwidth usage information is summarized and sorted by all the edge bandwidth usage information reported by the edge bandwidth information collection module 22 on all the edge servers 20. And according to the bandwidth use information of the whole network, based on a preset speed limit rule, a central speed limit scheme can be calculated. It should be understood that the preset speed limit rules may be manually configured. Further, in this embodiment, the speed limit rule may be that when the full-network bandwidth usage information reaches the threshold R1, the speed limit scheme L1 is executed for the user pointed to by the user id information; when the full network bandwidth usage information reaches the threshold R2, the speed limit scheme L2 is performed for the user pointed to by the user id information. Wherein the threshold R2 is greater than the threshold R1. The threshold R1, the threshold R2, the speed limit scheme L1 and the speed limit scheme L2 can be configured manually. It should be noted that the threshold R1, the threshold R2, the speed limit scheme L1, and the speed limit scheme L2 are only examples, and those skilled in the art should understand that more specific speed limit rules can be analogized on the basis of this scheme, that is, when the bandwidth utilization information of the whole network reaches the threshold R3, the speed limit scheme L3 is executed for the user pointed by the user id information. For the sake of simplicity, this is not described in detail in this specification. When the bandwidth usage information decreases, the reverse is performed.
In a further implementation manner, in the step of executing the whole network speed limiting scheme, the network speed limiting method according to the embodiment of the present invention further includes: and determining an edge speed limiting scheme aiming at the user id information according to the comparison of the priority between the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme. Determining an edge speed limiting scheme which should be executed according to the user id information by comparing the priority between the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme; and the second speed limit scheme is a speed limit scheme which is stored in the central speed limit mapping table and corresponds to the user id information. In the present case, the second speed-limiting scheme is the currently executed speed-limiting scheme on the edge server. Therefore, in the embodiment of the present invention, the edge speed limiting scheme finally executed by the edge server is obtained after the optimization. Which is determined by comparing and judging the first speed limit plan with the second speed limit plan currently being executed by the edge server. In the embodiment of the invention, the first speed limiting scheme and the second speed limiting scheme comprise bandwidth limiting values of corresponding edge servers aiming at a specified domain name; the priority includes prioritizing according to the size of the bandwidth limit value in the first rate-limiting scheme and the second rate-limiting scheme. Therefore, the priority comparison between the first speed-limiting scheme and the second speed-limiting scheme is the comparison of the bandwidth limit value between the first speed-limiting scheme and the second speed-limiting scheme. In this embodiment, the higher one of the speed limit values is preferred, so that it can be ensured that the user is always provided with a more forgiving limit, that is, the user is always provided with a larger bandwidth allowed under the current conditions. Generally, when the bandwidth increases, the bandwidth limit of the first speed limit scheme issued by the central server is tightened, and the speed limit value of the first speed limit scheme is smaller than that of the speed limit scheme (i.e. the corresponding second speed limit scheme in the central mapping table) being executed on the edge server. At this point, the second rate-limiting scheme is still adopted because the second rate-limiting scheme can provide the user with a correspondingly larger bandwidth. In another case, when the bandwidth decreases, the bandwidth limit of the first rate-limiting scheme calculated and issued by the central server is relaxed, and the bandwidth limit value of the first rate-limiting scheme may be larger than that of the second rate-limiting scheme being executed on the edge server. At this time, the first speed-limiting scheme is used to replace the second speed-limiting scheme being executed, i.e. the first speed-limiting scheme is used as the edge speed-limiting scheme for execution. For example, the currently executed speed limit scheme on the edge server is to limit each connection by 2MB/s, while the use condition of the whole network bandwidth rises with the access of more new users, and the first speed limit scheme issued after calculation by the central server is tightened to limit each connection by 1 MB/s. Based on the possible consideration of providing the maximum wire speed for the user, the second speed-limiting scheme (2MB/s) currently being executed on the edge server is selected as the edge speed-limiting scheme for the user for the comparison between the first speed-limiting scheme and the second speed-limiting scheme. And then, part of users disconnect the edge server to ensure that the bandwidth of the whole network is reduced, the central server calculates the first speed limit scheme to be relaxed to 4MB/s according to the use condition of the bandwidth of the whole network, and compared with the speed limit scheme 2MB/s which is executed on the edge server at the moment, the first speed limit scheme with the bandwidth limit value of 4MB/s which is recalculated at the moment is the edge speed limit scheme. Therefore, the system keeps dynamic monitoring on the access user, the speed-limiting bandwidth of the access user is changed along with the situation of the bandwidth of the whole network all the time, and the flexibility of the speed limitation of the bandwidth of the whole system is kept.
In other embodiments, the user id information may be configured in advance, and the identity type of the user may be further defined in the user id information, for example, the user id information may be divided into a common user and a vip user. And configuring different speed limit schemes aiming at different user types, namely creating a preset speed limit scheme for certain user id information. For example, for a vip user, a preset speed limit scheme is pre-configured in the user id information, and the step of performing the priority between the central speed limit scheme and the first edge speed limit scheme further includes: and comparing the priorities among the first speed limiting scheme, the second edge speed limiting scheme and the preset speed limiting scheme. It will be appreciated that the priority levels herein may be the same as the priority levels previously described. For example, the preset speed limit scheme for the vip user is 10MB/s, the first speed limit scheme issued after calculation by the central server is 5M/s, and meanwhile, the second speed limit scheme currently executed by the edge server is 2M/s, and 10MB/s is preferentially selected as the edge speed limit scheme executed for the vip user.
In other embodiments, the users may be classified according to the operators or regions, and different speed limiting schemes are adopted for different operators and different regions. It should be noted that the user vip level and operator information are only examples here. In other embodiments, the configuration may still be based on the information of the type of service, country, region, etc. included in the user id information. Meanwhile, the client can also define the configuration by self according to the priority relationship among the currently executed speed limit scheme Rx, the speed limit scheme Ry issued by the global speed limit control module and the speed limit scheme Rz pre-configured in the user id information.
Referring to fig. 5, the method for limiting a network speed according to the embodiment of the present invention may further include the following mapping table establishing step:
a1: receiving an access request of a user for accessing an edge server, wherein the access request comprises an appointed domain name and user id information;
a2: collecting user id information in the access request and a speed limit scheme corresponding to the user id information, and establishing an edge speed limit mapping table;
a3: reporting the edge speed limit mapping table to a central server;
a4: receiving and storing a central speed limit mapping table issued by a central server; the central speed limit mapping table is a collection of edge speed limit mapping tables reported by the whole network edge servers and summarized and sorted by the central server.
It is understood that when the edge speed limiting scheme is executed by the edge speed limiting module, the edge speed limiting scheme becomes the "speed limiting scheme currently being executed by the edge server" defined above after being executed by the edge speed limiting module. At this time, the edge server may establish an edge speed limit mapping table according to the user id information and the speed limit scheme being executed for the user id information. And through the edge speed limit mapping table, the corresponding relation between the user id information and the speed limit scheme is determined. After the edge speed limit mapping table is established, the edge speed limit mapping table can be sent to the central server by the edge speed limit module, and the central server establishes the central speed limit mapping table after the edge speed limit mapping table reported by the whole network edge server is collated and summarized by the central server. And then, the central server issues the central speed limit mapping table to the whole network edge server, and the edge speed limit mapping table cached in the edge server is updated and replaced. Therefore, when a new user accesses, the embodiment of the present invention further includes identifying whether the user id information of the user is already stored in the edge server, specifically, whether the user id information is stored in a central mapping table in the edge server, including the following steps:
b1: receiving an access request of a user for accessing an edge server, wherein the access request comprises an appointed domain name and user id information;
b2: identifying whether user id information in the access request has a corresponding edge speed limit scheme in a central speed limit mapping table stored in an edge server;
if yes, executing an edge speed limit scheme corresponding to the user id information;
if not, the first speed limit scheme issued by the central server is directly used as the edge speed limit scheme for execution.
The edge server can identify whether the user has accessed on the edge server of the whole network through the stored central speed limit mapping table so as to determine the edge speed limit scheme aiming at the user. If the user has a corresponding speed-limiting scheme in the central speed-limiting mapping table, the speed-limiting scheme corresponding to the user id information in the central speed-limiting mapping table can be directly used as an edge speed-limiting scheme for execution; if not, the central server can calculate a first speed-limiting scheme meeting the current bandwidth through the current bandwidth use condition of the whole network, and then the first speed-limiting scheme is used as an edge speed-limiting scheme aiming at the specified user id information to be executed. Therefore, whether the user has previously accessed the edge server or not, the access to the edge server can be restricted by the edge server. Then, returning to the previous step, namely, the edge server can establish an edge speed limit mapping table according to the user id information and the edge speed limit scheme executed aiming at the user id information and report the mapping table to the central server; the central server collects the edge speed limit mapping tables of the whole network, generates a central mapping table and sends the central mapping table to the edge server of the whole network. Meanwhile, because the edge server always reports the bandwidth utilization information in real time, when the use condition of the whole network bandwidth is changed, the first speed limiting scheme issued by the central server after calculation according to the current whole network bandwidth utilization information is also changed correspondingly. At this point it is certainly not timely if the previous rate limiting scheme is still implemented. Therefore, as described above, in the embodiment of the present invention, a comparison is provided between a first speed-limiting scheme that is calculated and issued by the central server according to the current bandwidth usage information of the whole network and an edge speed-limiting scheme that is being executed by the edge server (that is, a second speed-limiting scheme in the central speed-limiting mapping table stored in the edge server). Generally speaking, the comparison is based on a priority between the first rate limiting scheme and the second rate limiting scheme, which are relatively limited therebetween
It should be understood that, here, the speed limit scheme issued by the central server according to the use condition of the bandwidth of the whole network is defined as the "first speed limit scheme", the speed limit scheme stored in the central mapping table issued by the central server is defined as the "second speed limit scheme", and the speed limit scheme being executed on the edge server is defined as the edge speed limit scheme. However, the three components can be mutually converted under specific conditions. For example, as described above, after the priority comparison is performed between the first speed limit scheme and the second speed limit scheme, the speed limit scheme to be executed for the edge server is determined to be more preferred. After this determination step, assuming that the first speed-limiting scheme is determined to be a more preferred speed-limiting scheme, the first speed-limiting scheme is thereafter changed to an edge speed-limiting scheme; assuming that the second speed limit scheme is determined to be the more preferred speed limit scheme, the first speed limit scheme is changed into the edge speed limit scheme. Then, the edge server collects the user id information and the corresponding executing edge speed-limiting scheme, establishes an edge speed-limiting mapping table and reports the edge speed-limiting mapping table to the center server, the center server collects the edge speed-limiting mapping table reported by the edge server of the whole network into a center speed-limiting mapping table, and the center speed-limiting mapping table is issued to the edge server of the whole network. Therefore, at this time, the edge speed limit map becomes the "second speed limit scheme" defined above again because it exists in the central speed limit map. The antecedents "first", "second" and "edge" of the "speed-limiting scheme" are therefore used for descriptive purposes only and to distinguish the application thereof, and the same speed-limiting scheme may be referred to between the speed-limiting schemes in a particular case.
More specifically, the present invention provides the following examples:
assume that a domain name is specified: www.xxxxxx.com
Assuming a speed limit rule: 1. when the bandwidth of the whole network is less than or equal to 50G, executing a speed limit scheme L1, and limiting the speed of all newly accessed users by 2M/S;
2. when the bandwidth of the whole network is 50G-70G, executing a speed limit scheme L2, and limiting the speed of all newly accessed users by 1M/S;
3. when the bandwidth of the whole network is 70-100G, executing a speed limit scheme L3, and limiting the speed of all newly accessed users by 500K/S;
4. and when the bandwidth of the whole network exceeds 100G, the new user is refused to access.
Default priority: l1> L2> L3> L4
The new access user: i.e., the user belongs to the first access, whose ID information is not recorded in the ID control module.
The process is as follows: 1. assuming that the bandwidth of the whole network is 0 and no user accesses, the edge server executes a speed limit scheme L1 at the moment;
2. 500 users access the edge server S1,500 users access the edge server S2, and are recorded as ID1-ID1000, the bandwidth of the whole network reaches 50G, the edge servers S1 and S2 execute a speed limit scheme L1, all users limit the speed by 2M/S, the edge server S1S2 respectively establishes an edge speed limit mapping table T1T2

4. If the user 1 and the user 1500 are disconnected and reconnected to the edge server S2 at this time, and the edge server S2 stores the central mapping table C1.1 at this time, the speed-limiting scheme of 2M/S is executed for the user 1, and the speed-limiting scheme of 1M/S is executed for the user 1500
5. The user 500-plus-one 1000 is disconnected, the bandwidth of the whole network is reduced to 40G at the moment, the central server calculates that the edge server of the whole network should use the speed limiting scheme L1 at the moment, the central server sends a notification S1S2 to execute the speed limiting scheme L1, the speed limit of all the users is 2M/S, but the user 1001-plus-one 1500 is limited to 1M/S according to the central mapping table C1.1, at the moment, the edge server compares the scheme in the mapping table with the scheme that the edge server should execute, preferentially uses the speed limiting scheme L1 for the user 1001-plus-one 1500, namely, the user 1001-plus-one 1500 is adjusted to be limited to 2M/S, and writes the new speed limiting scheme into the edge speed limiting mapping table T1.2

And then the edge server S1 uploads the new edge speed limit mapping table T1.2 to the central server, and the central server forms a new central mapping table and then sends the new central mapping table to all edge servers in the whole network. If the user 1001 and 1500 disconnect and reconnect afterwards, the executed scheme is also L1.
Based on the above description, when a user accesses, the method for limiting the speed of the network provided in the embodiment of the present invention collects the bandwidth usage information of the edge server, collects the bandwidth usage information of the entire network through the central server, and calculates the speed-limiting scheme for the access user in real time according to the bandwidth usage information of the entire network and the preset speed-limiting rule. Therefore, even if the same user uses different bandwidth use information, different speed limit schemes can be dynamically adopted. In addition, as described above, the embodiment of the present invention also performs a function of strengthening a custom speed limit on the type and identity of the user. For users with different identities (e.g., general users and vip users), different operators (e.g., china mobile and china unicom), different regions (e.g., different provinces), etc., a separate rate-limiting scheme may be preset to be performed for the part of users. Meanwhile, the priority sequence between the preset speed limit scheme and the currently executed speed limit scheme of the system and the speed limit scheme issued by the global speed limit control module can be configured, so that the targeted speed limit schemes are adopted for different user identities and different user types.
