Abstract
The invention provides a method for improving the aroma quality of cut stems and application thereof, which is characterized in that after tobacco stems are expanded by microwave and granulated, flavor microcapsules with flavor precursor components for improving the smoking quality are adsorbed to prepare the attached flavor stems, and the attached flavor stems are blended into a cut tobacco formula, so that when cigarettes rolled by the cut tobacco formula are smoked, the applied aroma precursor is converted into the mainstream smoke aroma components of the cigarettes along with the combustion effect of the cigarettes, thereby enhancing the aroma of the cut stems. The method can greatly improve the natural tobacco fragrance of cut stems, and the smoke has pure, natural and harmonious fragrance and no additional fragrance trace. The method is simple and easy to operate, low in investment and remarkable in cut stem aroma enhancement, and can be used for the cigarette industry, the aroma quality of the cut stems can be greatly improved, the utilization rate of the cut stems is improved, and the cigarette cost is reduced.

Technical Field

Background
The tobacco stems refer to the coarse and hard veins in the tobacco leaves and account for about 25 percent of the mass of the tobacco leaves. Because the microwave heating has the characteristics of integrity, timeliness, selectivity, high energy utilization rate and the like, the microwave heating is uniform and rapid, the heating time is greatly shortened, and the quality of tobacco stems is better ensured. The well processed cut stems can increase the filling value of cut tobacco, reduce cost, improve the combustibility of cigarettes and reduce the tar content of smoke. However, the tobacco stems processed by microwave have serious loss of flavor components and can only be used as filling materials to be applied to cigarette formulas.

s2, taking the precursor of the set flavor component for the cigarette as a core material, and preparing the flavor microcapsule with good stability and capable of effectively controlling the release of the flavor by adopting a complex coacervation method;
s3, uniformly mixing the expanded stem particles and the flavor microcapsules according to a set mass ratio, sealing and placing the mixture on a table concentrator with 150 revolutions per minute for 6-12 hours to enable the flavor microcapsules to be uniformly adsorbed in porous channels of the expanded stems, and air-drying to obtain the flavor-attached stems.
Preferably, the microwave power of the microwave expansion is 110kW, and the microwave radiation time is 30 s; the microwave power of the microwave shaping is 110kW, the pressure is 0.2-0.6MPa, and the shaping time is 10-90 s.
Preferably, the core material is a uniform emulsion formed by adding one or more than one flavor precursor for cigarettes into an emulsifier and stirring.
Preferably, the flavor microcapsule takes the precursor of the flavor component for the cigarette as a core material and takes gelatin and Arabic gum as capsule materials.
Preferably, the mass ratio of the gelatin to the gum arabic is 1: 1-5:1.
Preferably, the ratio of the emulsifier to the precursor of the flavor component for cigarettes and the mass ratio of the core material to the capsule material are controlled to be 0.5: 1-1: 1.
Preferably, the method for preparing the perfume microcapsule by the double coacervation method comprises the following steps:

Example 1

S2, preparing the tobacco flavor microcapsule
The method comprises the steps of taking targeted cigarette flavor precursor components as core materials (10 ml of ionone, 10 ml of lauryl alcohol, 50 ml of beta-pinene and 5 ml of neophytadiene, adding 1kg of 5% lauryl sodium sulfate emulsifier aqueous solution, stirring into uniform emulsion, wherein the proportion of flavor substances in the core materials is 5%), and preparing the flavor microcapsule by adopting a complex coacervation method. The specific operation steps are as follows: weighing a certain mass of pure gelatin, adding the pure gelatin into a dissolved 2% core material solution (the temperature is kept at 50 ℃), shearing the core material solution at a rotation speed of 10000rpm for 2min, and then adding a 2% acacia gum aqueous solution, wherein the mass ratio of the gelatin to the acacia gum is 1: 1, stirring and keeping the temperature. Sensory evaluation experiment
The rolled cigarettes are placed in a constant-temperature constant-humidity cabinet to be balanced for 48 hours, 7 expert judges are organized to evaluate the three samples, the evaluation mode is dark evaluation, and sensory scores are filled by the judges. The results are as follows:

The additive is evaluated from the aspects of aroma, miscellaneous gas, irritation and aftertaste, and the result of smoking shows that the method for improving the aroma quality of the cut stems can improve the aroma quality and the aroma quantity of cigarettes, reduce the miscellaneous gas and improve the irritation and the aftertaste. The method is simple and easy to operate, low in investment, and applicable to the cigarette industry, and can improve the utilization rate of cut stems and reduce the cigarette cost.
