Description

Lightweight steering gear support and steering gear installation assembly
Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of automobile steering systems, in particular to a light-weight steering gear support and a steering gear installation assembly.
Background
At present, a steering system of a commercial vehicle generally adopts hydraulic power-assisted steering, and a steering gear provides output force to drive a steering rod system to complete steering action. The steering gear is fixed on the frame through the steering gear bracket. The steering gear assembly can be divided into left output, right output and right output according to the arrangement of the steering gear and the torque output mode. The left position means that the steering gear is arranged on the left side of the frame, the right position means that the steering gear is arranged on the right side of the frame, and the truck in China drives through a left rudder, so the steering gear is generally arranged on the left side. The left output and the right output refer to positions of a rocker shaft of the steering gear, and the rocker shaft is left output on the left side of the steering gear and right output on the right side.
The steering gear bracket is a supporting part of the steering gear and is also a connecting part of the steering gear and the frame, and the strength and the fatigue life of the steering gear bracket directly influence the life of the whole steering gear assembly. Because the load of the whole commercial vehicle is large, and the output torque of the steering gear is also large, the steering gear support needs to have great strength to ensure the reliable work of the steering gear assembly. In order to meet the load bearing requirements of heavy vehicles, the steering gear assembly must be designed to meet a safety factor through a reinforcing structure, which results in a large occupied space of the steering gear assembly.
For the rocker shaft left-arranged steering gear assembly, when a vehicle is provided with boundary constraint, large-size tires, a large-angle steering axle, a lower protection assembly, a suspension leaf spring system and other layout space requirements, the space of the steering gear assembly is limited, and the moving space of the steering gear assembly is interfered. The steering rocker arm requires a large tilt angle to meet the layout requirements, which has a large influence on the strength of the steering rocker arm. Simultaneously, the bending range of the bending point of the straight pull rod is large, the straight pull rod is easy to break under severe working conditions, the steering gear assembly fails, and the driving safety is further influenced. Because the drag link has a larger bending point, the strength problem can not be effectively solved sometimes by only thickening the drag link, and the drag link can also cause the cost to rise and the weight to increase.
