The detection method of the detection device of the intelligent electric energy meter is characterized in that (1) the electric energy meter is arranged in an accommodating cavity of a pedestal of the electric energy meter, a switching key of the electric energy meter is positioned below a switching key detection mechanism, a tail cover key is positioned below the tail cover key detection mechanism, an infrared emission window is positioned below an infrared signal emission detection mechanism, a pressing plate presses one side of the electric energy meter to be fixed under the action of a pressing spring group, and the electric energy meter is communicated with a power supply through an electric connection terminal group; (2) selecting two detection assemblies which correspond to two switching keys of the electric energy meter one by one according to the phenotype of the electric energy meter, pressing down a detection pressure rod and enabling a radial stop pin to penetrate through a cross through hole from top to bottom, rotating the detection pressure rod and enabling the lower end of a lifting plate to stop the radial stop pin, and rotating a detection pressure head to adjust the distance between the lower end of the detection pressure head and the lower end of an elastic sealing frame to a set value and locking the detection pressure head by using a locking nut; (3) the machine vision system detects the position of a tail cover key of the electric energy meter, the controller controls and starts the Y-direction electric sliding table to drive the L-shaped fixing seat to drive the pen-shaped air cylinder to move to adjust the position of the pen-shaped air cylinder, and the lower end of a piston rod of the pen-shaped air cylinder is aligned with the tail cover key of the electric energy meter; (4) the machine vision system detects the position of an infrared emission window of the electric energy meter, the controller controls and starts the XY electric sliding table, the connecting column is driven to drive the mounting seat and the elastic sealing frame to move to adjust the position, and the lower end of the elastic sealing frame is aligned with the infrared emission window of the electric energy meter; (5) the lifting driving device drives the lifting plate to descend, the switching key for pressing the electric energy meter by the detection pressure head is used for switching, displaying and detecting the LCD, the lower end of the elastic sealing frame is used for pressing the upper end of an infrared emission window of the electric energy meter, the infrared receiver is used for receiving infrared signals sent by the infrared emission tube and detecting the infrared signals, the piston rod of the pen-shaped air cylinder stretches out and presses the tail cover key of the electric energy meter to open the tail cover and detect, and the tail cover opening record of the electric energy meter is checked.
