A second aspect of the present application provides a terminal device, wherein the terminal device includes: the receiving module is used for receiving a first user operation; the processing module is used for determining the starting time and the target temperature of the air conditioner according to the first user operation; and the sending module is used for sending the first instruction to an air conditioner, wherein the first instruction comprises the air conditioner starting time and the target temperature so as to indicate that the air conditioner is started within the air conditioner starting time and adjust the indoor temperature to the target temperature.
