The paper-surface gypsum board comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of gypsum clinker and 0.5-1.5 parts of impact-resistant material; the impact-resistant material is one or two of water-soluble fullerene or hydroxylated carbon nano-tube. The preparation method of the paper-surface gypsum board comprises the following steps: firstly, dissolving an impact-resistant material in water to prepare first slurry; secondly, adding gypsum clinker, a binder, fibers, modified starch, a water reducing agent, a foaming agent and water into the first slurry, and uniformly stirring to prepare second slurry; pouring the second slurry on the surface protecting paper again, and lapping, bonding and molding to prepare a wet plate; and finally, after the wet board is solidified, the wet board enters a dryer, and the paper-surface gypsum board is obtained after drying.
