The application may be a game, an application, or some other application associated with a computer system or other device that may be run on the smart television. The application center may obtain these applications from different sources, store them in local storage, and then be operable on the display device 200.
The above embodiments describe the hardware/software architecture and functional implementation of the display device. In some application scenarios, a user may input an operation of starting an information bar through the control device 100, the user interface 265 receives the operation of starting the information bar and forwards the operation of starting the information bar to the controller 250, and the controller 250 needs to control the display 275 to display the information bar corresponding to the current film source in response to the operation of starting the information bar. The film source in the present application may be provided by an external signal source device, such as a cable tv channel connected to a set-top box for watching, or the film source may also be a network film source, such as a program watched in a video APP.
The content displayed in the information bar includes, but is not limited to, sound information, sound effect information, aspect ratio, subtitle, and other information related to the film source, and the specific display content of the information bar is subject to practical application, which is not limited in this embodiment. Wherein, the sound information generally comprises the sound type of the current film source; the effect information generally includes an effect image for representing an effect type symbol, and the effect type is displayed after the effect image. Since the sound information and the sound effect information are both related to audio playback, the conventional UX (User Experience) requires that the sound information and the sound effect information be arranged in the same line for display. The sound effects include, but are not limited to, Dolby (Dolby) sound effects, DTS (Digital Theater sound) sound effects, magic sound effects, etc., for example, when Dolby sound effects are adopted, then sound effect information may specifically be Dolby information, and sound effect information is subject to practical application.
However, the lengths of the sound information corresponding to different film sources are different, where the length of the sound information refers to a length displayed when the sound information is displayed in a display column line, and the length of some sound information is longer, and the maximum length of information that can be displayed in each line in the information column is basically fixed, so that if the sound information needs to be displayed completely, the sound information in the same line is inevitably compressed, so that the sound information cannot be displayed completely, and even sound images cannot be displayed clearly, for example, in the example of fig. 6, the sound information greatly compresses the sound information, so that the sound images only display half, and the other half cannot be displayed because the information display length of the line does not support, which not only gives a strange viewing experience to a user, but also makes the user unable to view the complete sound information, thus it is seen that the current information column cannot provide a good display effect for the user.
In some embodiments, in order to avoid compressing sound effect information caused by overlong sound information, the sound information may be displayed in the form of a ticker or an ellipsis, and the implementation principle is as follows: a fixed first display length is reserved for the sound information, the first display length may be greater than, equal to, or less than the actual length of the sound information, and a second display length is reserved for the sound effect information, as in the example of fig. 7, information in the sound information after exceeding the first display length is displayed in the form of an ellipsis, and thus, a user can know that the sound information is not completely displayed. As can be seen from fig. 7, the sound information is displayed in the form of a ticker or an ellipsis, and although the clear and complete sound information including the sound image can be seen, when the length of the sound information exceeds the first display length, the display bar cannot completely display the sound information, and the display bar still cannot provide a better effect for the user.
Referring to the example of fig. 6 or fig. 7, the display column is divided into three areas, namely, a left area, a middle area and a right area, where the right area is an area for displaying specific information such as sound information and sound effect information, and the area includes several lines, each line displays different types of information, for example, in the area of fig. 7, the first line displays DTV (Digital Television) information as "DTV 1080i HD Not Rated", the second line displays sound information and sound effect information simultaneously, the sound information is "STETEO 3/3 …", the sound effect information is "sound effect image + DOLBY AUDIO", and in the present embodiment, the display control of the area of the right side of the information column of fig. 7 is mainly aimed at, and the lines are also information lines in the right area. It should be noted that the information bar shown in each drawing in the present application is only exemplary, and does not represent interface display of an actual information bar, for example, only one area may be set in an actual application, all information is displayed in a row in one area, and a specific display form and display content of the information bar are subject to setting of an actual display device.
In view of the above, the present application provides an information bar display method for automatically displaying sound information and sound effect information in a line-by-line manner when the length of the sound information is too long, as shown in fig. 8, the method is executed by configuring a controller 250 in a display device, that is, the controller 250 is an execution subject of the information bar display method, and the controller 250 controls line-by-line display/concurrent display of the sound information and the sound effect information in the information bar, the method includes:
step S10, in response to the operation of starting the information bar, acquires the length of the sound information of the current film source.
Since the sound information corresponding to different film sources is different, the lengths of the sound information presented in the information bar are also different, so that when the information bar is called out each time, the length of the sound information of the current film source needs to be recalculated and obtained based on the current film source, and then the length of the sound information is compared with the threshold.
In some embodiments, the overall length of the sound information may be calculated according to the number of characters included in the sound information and a preset length of each character set in the information field; or setting the corresponding display length of each sound type in the information bar, and directly calling the display length corresponding to the sound type according to the sound type indicated by the sound information after the sound information of the current film source is acquired, namely the length of the sound information.
In step S20, it is determined whether the length of the sound information is greater than a threshold value. If the length of the sound information is greater than the threshold, performing step S30; on the contrary, if the length of the sound information is less than or equal to the threshold, step S40 is performed.
In order to accurately measure the compression degree of sound information to sound effect information, threshold value constraint is added, if the length of the sound information is greater than a threshold value, the length of the sound information is indicated to enable a sound effect image to be displayed clearly and completely due to compression; if the length of the sound information is less than or equal to the threshold value, the sound effect image can be displayed clearly and completely.
In some embodiments, the threshold is set in relation to common sound types including, but not limited to: AC3 STEREO ENGLISH, STEREO 3/3ORIGINAL AUDIO, MPEG1-L2 Stereo English, Mono, Stereo, etc. Determining the display length of the information bar to be d according to the common sound type1(ii) a The audio image displayed in the audio information is generally determined by the audio brand authentication, so that the size of the audio image is generally fixed, and the length of the audio image displayed on the information bar is fixed, and is set as d2(ii) a The preset display length of each line in the information bar is also fixed, d is set as d, d is the preset maximum display length of each information line in the right area of the display bar shown in fig. 7, and the satisfied relationship is d1≤d-d2In order to ensure that sound effect pictures can be displayed clearly and completely at least, the threshold in the applicationThe value is the preset display length d of each line in the display column-the display length d of the sound effect image in the sound effect information2
The value of the threshold is not limited to that of the embodiment, for example, the average length of the conventional sound effect information is d3Then, the threshold is made d-d3The mode is favorable for ensuring the clarity and the integrity of the sound effect image, and can also enable the display columns to display the complete sound effect information in rows. The threshold is preset before the message bar is activated and called out.
In step S30, the sound information and the sound effect information are displayed in the information bar in a line.
When the length of the sound information is larger than the threshold value, the sound information and the sound effect information need to be displayed in different rows, namely, the sound information and the sound effect information are automatically switched to be displayed in different rows, so that the length of the independent sound information and the length of the independent sound information are smaller than the preset display length d of each row, the sound information and the sound effect information can be completely displayed in the respective information rows, and a user can more clearly search the related information.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 9(a), step S30 includes: and displaying sound information on a target line in the information bar, and switching the sound effect information to the next line of the target line for displaying. In a traditional scheme, according to the preset display setting of an information bar, sound information and sound effect information are displayed in the same target line, for example, the sound information and the sound effect information are displayed in a second line in a default mode, the second line is the target line, when the fact that line division display is needed is determined, the sound information can be kept in the second line for display, then the sound effect information is switched to a third line for display, and therefore the sound information and the sound effect information are switched to be displayed in an upper adjacent line and a lower adjacent line from the same line.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 9(b), step S30 includes: and displaying the sound effect information on a target line in the information bar, and switching the sound information to the next line of the target line for displaying. In a traditional scheme, according to the preset display setting of an information bar, sound information and sound effect information are displayed in the same target line, for example, the sound information and the sound effect information are displayed in a second line in a default mode, the second line is the target line, when the fact that line division display is needed is determined, the sound effect information can be kept in the second line for display, then the sound information is switched to a third line for display, and therefore the sound information and the sound effect information are switched to be displayed in an upper adjacent line and a lower adjacent line from the same line.
In the above embodiment, the sound information and the sound effect information are switched to be displayed in two rows adjacent to each other up and down, respectively, but in other embodiments, the sound information and the sound effect information are not limited to be displayed in adjacent rows, as long as the sound information and the sound effect information are not in the same row, but are displayed in two rows corresponding to each other individually, and the display and the arrangement of each information row in the information column can be flexibly set.
In step S40, the sound information and the sound effect information are displayed on the same target line in the information bar.
As shown in fig. 10, when the length of the sound information is less than or equal to the threshold, the sound information and the sound effect information do not need to be switched to the line-splitting display mode, but the same line display mode is maintained, for example, the information bar sets that the sound information and the sound effect information are to be displayed in the second line, and the second line is the target line, and the sound information and the sound effect information are displayed in the second line on the left-right side.
In the scheme provided by the application, because different film sources have different sound information, when a user starts an information bar each time, the length of the sound information of the current film source needs to be acquired, and the length of the sound information is compared with a threshold value, wherein the threshold value can be the maximum length enough for displaying the set sound information on the premise of ensuring that the sound information/sound image can be clearly and effectively displayed. If the length of the sound information is less than or equal to the threshold value, the sound information and the sound effect information can be displayed in the same line in the information bar; if the length of sound information is greater than the threshold value, sound information will compress sound effect information if the sound information is displayed completely, therefore, a line-dividing display mode is adopted in the scheme, namely, the sound information and the sound effect information are displayed in different lines, so that a user can see the complete sound information in the corresponding line and see the clear and complete sound effect information, the display effect of an information column is improved, and the viewing experience of the user is improved.
