Problems to be solved by the invention
However, in general, a trash can having an opening/closing lid that is opened and closed by a pedal is opened in a substantially upright state when in use. Therefore, a space above for allowing the cover to be opened is required. The installation position of the trash can is determined according to various reasons such as convenience of installation places, convenience of use of users, and design, and in some cases, the trash can is installed in places where upper spaces are limited, such as drawers in the kitchen or under racks. In this case, the trash can having the opening and closing lid opened and closed by the pedal system has a problem that the lid is half opened and cannot be used substantially. In addition, in a drawer in a kitchen, a pedal cannot be stepped on, and certainly, the drawer cannot be used.
In recent years, in a household kitchen, a drawer type storage portion is often used from the viewpoint of a clean feeling and an appearance. However, the conventional trash can used in a kitchen cannot be stored in a drawer of the kitchen and has to be placed beside the feet, which may hinder the cleanliness and appearance of the kitchen. That is, a trash can stored in a drawer of a kitchen needs to be normally closed in a space with a limited height, and after the trash can is pulled out, the trash can be opened in a one-touch manner while keeping the stored state.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a trash can that can be used even in a drawer having a limited height space and in which left and right covers are opened in a double manner by one touch.

ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION
According to the present invention, when the opening/closing operation portion is operated to be in the open state in the case where the spring member is provided to either one of the left and right covers, the cover biased by the spring of the left and right covers is rotated by the spring force, and the cover not biased by the spring is rotated in conjunction with the operation of the coupling body coupling the left and right covers. Therefore, in a place where the upper space is limited, the available place is widely selected as long as half of the upper space is available as compared with a conventional trash can with a single lid. Further, the lid can be set to the open state only by pressing the opening/closing operation portion, and the lid can be easily opened and closed even in an unstable installation state such as a drawer. In addition, in the case where the spring member is attached to both the left and right covers, when the left and right covers that are opened in two directions are closed, the connecting body can be operated by closing only one cover, and the left and right covers can be closed in conjunction with each other.

Detailed Description
Next, a trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 16. In the present specification, "front-back" and "left-right" refer to directions viewed with the user side as the front (near-front) side, and in this example, the opening/closing operation portion side. Therefore, when viewed from the front, the pair of left and right covers 3 rotate counterclockwise, and the right cover rotates clockwise.
The dust box 10 is an assembly of a dust container 1 having an upper opening, a cover frame 2, a pair of left and right covers 3(31a, 31b), an opening/closing operation portion 4, a coupling body 5, and a torsion spring (spring member) 6. The trash receptacle 1 has a predetermined height and a quadrangular upper opening.
The lid frame 2 has a hollow portion at the center of the opening edge into which the dust container 1 is fitted, and the lid frame 2 has a bottomless cross-sectional shape of substantially japanese コ having an inner surface, a top surface, and an outer surface, and has four side frames including a front portion 21a, a rear portion 21b, a left portion 21c, and a right portion 21 d. In this example, the cover frame 2 is provided with the opening/closing operation portion 4, and a pair of left and right covers 31a and 31b are attached. By using the lid frame 2, an inner container such as a shopping bag can be mounted between the garbage container 1 and the lid frame 2, and the garbage container 1 is not contaminated.
A housing recess 24 for housing the opening/closing operation portion 4 is formed in the front portion 21a of the cover frame 2, a locking hole (not shown) for locking the small projection 43a for supporting the pivot of the opening/closing operation portion 4 is formed in the left inner wall surface 22a of the housing recess 24, and a locking hole (not shown) for locking the small projection 43b for supporting the pivot of the opening/closing operation portion 4 is formed in the right inner wall surface 22b of the housing recess 24. Further, a locking hole 25a into which the 1 st rotation shaft 33a of the left cap 31a is rotatably fitted is formed in the vicinity of the left side portion 21c which is the inner wall surface of the front portion 21a of the cap frame 2, a locking hole 25c into which the 1 st rotation shaft 36a of the left cap 31a is rotatably fitted is formed in the vicinity of the left side portion 21c which is the inner wall surface of the rear portion 21b of the cap frame 2, a locking hole 25b into which the 2 nd rotation shaft 33b of the right cap 31b is rotatably fitted is formed in the vicinity of the right side portion 21d which is the inner wall surface of the front portion 21a of the cap frame 2, and a locking hole 25d into which the 2 nd rotation shaft 36b of the right cap 31b is rotatably fitted is formed in the vicinity of the right side portion 21d which is the inner wall surface of the rear portion 21b of the cap frame 2.
The pair of left and right covers 3 are laterally opened covers pivotally supported by the cover frame 2 to be freely rotatable. The base end side where the pair of left and right covers 3 pivot is the side where the left and right side portions 21c, 21d of the cover frame 2 are located, and the portions where the pivot supporting rotation shafts are attached are locking holes 25a, 25b provided in the front side portion 21a and locking holes 25c, 25d provided in the rear side portion 21 b. That is, the 1 st rotating shaft 33a of the left lid 31a is pivotally supported in the locking hole 25a so as to be rotatable counterclockwise in the front view near the upper end of the garbage receptacle 1, the 1 st rotating shaft 36a of the left lid 31a is pivotally supported in the locking hole 25c so as to be rotatable counterclockwise in the front view near the upper end of the garbage receptacle 1, the 2 nd rotating shaft 33b of the right lid 31b is pivotally supported in the locking hole 25b so as to be rotatable clockwise in the front view near the upper end of the garbage receptacle 1, and the 2 nd rotating shaft 36b of the right lid 31b is pivotally supported in the locking hole 25d so as to be rotatable clockwise in the front view near the upper end of the garbage receptacle 1.
The left cover 31a of the pair of left and right covers 3 has a top plate 311a which is a substantially rectangular plate-like body, a front side plate 312a extending downward from a rear surface of the top plate 311a on the front end side, and a rear side plate 312c extending downward from a rear surface of the top plate 311a on the rear end side. A 1 st pivot shaft 33a for pivotally supporting the left cover 31a is attached to the rotation center side (base end side) of the front side plate 312a, and a 1 st projection 32a for locking the 1 st pivot shaft support hole 51a at one end of the connecting body 5 is attached to a position above the oblique distal end side by a radius R from the axial center of the 1 st pivot shaft 33 a. If R is too large, the thickness of the lid is too large, and if R is too small, the 1 st rotating shaft 33a comes into contact with the 1 st projection 32a, and smooth opening and closing operations cannot be performed. Specifically, R is about 8 to 12 mm. The 1 st rotation shaft 33a and the 1 st projection 32a are each a small cylindrical projection extending in the forward direction from the front plate 312 a.
Further, a locking projection (cover side locking portion) 34 into which a locking hole (locking portion) 45 of the opening/closing operation portion 4 is fitted is provided on the distal end side of the front side plate 312a of the left cover 31 a. Further, a locking piece 35a protruding toward the distal end side is formed on the distal end side of the top plate 311a of the left cover 31 a. When the left and right covers 3 in the opened state are closed by hand, the locking piece 35a is a mark used for visually confirming that pressing is necessary. Further, a torsion spring 6 is attached to the 1 st rotating shaft 33a, and constantly biases the left cover 31a in the opening direction with respect to the cover housing 2.
A 1 st rotating shaft 36a that pivotally supports the left cover 31a is attached to a rotation center side (base end side) of the rear side plate 312c of the left cover 31 a. The 1 st projection locked with the coupling body 5 is not provided on the rear side plate 312b of the left cover 31 a. The 1 st rotation shaft 36a is a cylindrical small projection extending rearward from the rear plate 312 c.
The right cover 31b of the pair of left and right covers 3 includes a top plate 311b, a front side plate 312b extending downward from a rear surface of the top plate 311b on the front end side, and a rear side plate 312d (not shown) extending downward from a rear surface of the top plate 311b on the rear end side. A 2 nd rotation shaft 33b for rotatably pivotally supporting the right cover 31b is attached to the rotation center side (base end side) of the front side plate 312b, and a 2 nd projection 32b for locking the 2 nd pivot support hole 51b at the other end of the connecting body 5 is attached to a position located at a radius R from the axial center of the 2 nd rotation shaft 33b in the downward direction opposite to the oblique tip. R is the same size as R of the left cover 31 a. The 2 nd rotation shaft 33b and the 2 nd projection 32b are each a small cylindrical projection extending in the front-to-front direction from the front side plate 312 b. Further, a recess 35b into which the locking piece 35a of the left cover 31a is fitted is formed on the top end side near the top plate 311b of the right cover 31 b. Thus, the top surface is a flat surface when the left and right covers are in the closed state.
A 2 nd rotation shaft (not visible in fig. 5) that pivotally supports the right cover 31b is attached to the rotation center side (base end side) of the rear side plate 312d of the right cover 31b so as to be rotatable. Similarly to the left cover 31a, the 2 nd projection that is not locked to the coupling body 5 is attached to the rear side plate 312d of the right cover 31 b. The 2 nd rotation shaft is a cylindrical small projection extending rearward from the rear plate 312 d.
The coupling body 5 couples the base end side of the left cover 31a and the base end side of the right cover 31b, and the cover not biased by the spring is rotated in conjunction with the rotation of the cover biased by the spring by the opening operation of the opening/closing operation section 4. In this example, the connecting body 5 has a 1 st pivot support hole 51a into which one end side of the connecting body 5 is rotatably fitted with the 1 st projection 32a, a 2 nd pivot support hole 51b into which the other end side of the connecting body 5 is rotatably fitted with the 2 nd projection 32b, and an elongated connecting body 52 extending to both end sides. The connecting body 52 is formed in a structure in which an elongated plate-like body extending linearly is bent in a gooseneck shape on the 1 st pivot support hole 51a side in this example. Thus, when the left cover 31a is rotated, the coupling body 5 does not collide with the 1 st rotation shaft 33a and interfere with the operation. Further, the coupling body 5 is rotatably engaged with the 1 st projection 32a on the front side of the front plate 312a of the left cover 31a and the 2 nd projection 32b on the front side of the front plate 312b of the right cover 31b, so that the opening of the dust container is not narrowed.
As shown in fig. 10 to 12, the opening/closing operation section 4 normally locks the left cover 31a in a closed state and is opened by releasing the locking, and in this example, the opening/closing operation section 4 has a top plate 41, a rear plate 44, a left plate 42a, and a right plate 42b, a small projection 43a for pivot support extending leftward and outward is formed on the left plate 42a, a small projection 43b for pivot support extending rightward and outward is formed on the right plate 42b, and a locking hole (locking portion) 45 locked in the left cover 31a biased by a spring in the left and right covers 3 is formed in the rear plate 44. The opening/closing operation portion 4 is attached to the lid frame 2 by the small pivot support protrusion 43a being rotatably fitted into a locking hole (not shown) provided in the left inner wall surface 22a of the storage recess 24 of the lid frame 2 and the small pivot support protrusion 43b being rotatably fitted into a locking hole (not shown) provided in the right inner wall surface 22b of the storage recess 24 of the lid frame 2. As shown in fig. 10, the locking projection 34 of the left cover 31a biased by the spring is locked in the locking hole 45 of the opening/closing operation portion 4, and thus the left cover 31a is normally in a closed state.
The method of using the waste bin 10 will now be described. Fig. 6 to 9 are longitudinal sectional views of the lid portion of the trash can 10 in front view. When the trash can 10 is not in use, the left and right covers 31a and 31b are closed (fig. 1, 6, and 10). When the garbage is thrown into the garbage can 10, the top plate 41 of the opening/closing operation portion 4 is pressed downward by hand. Thereby, the opening/closing operation portion 4 is rotated to the front side about the axial center of the small projections 43a and 43b, and the locking of the left cover 31a is released (fig. 11). Since the left cover 31a is always biased in the opening direction by the torsion spring 6, the left cover 31a rotates in the opening direction.
When the left cover 31a is rotated in the opening direction (X direction in fig. 6), the 1 st projection 32a is similarly rotated counterclockwise (X direction) about the axis of the 1 st rotation shaft 33a as shown in fig. 7. Therefore, the coupling body 5 moves in the left direction in fig. 7, and simultaneously rotates the 2 nd projection 32b of the right cap 31b in the clockwise direction (Y direction). Thus, the right cover 31b is similarly rotated in the opening direction (fig. 7).
The left lid 31a is further rotated in the opening direction, and is shown in a half-opened state in fig. 2 and 8. In the trash can 10 of fig. 8, the 1 st projection 32a, which is one end of the connecting body 5, is positioned substantially directly above the 1 st rotation shaft 33a of the left cover 31a, and the 2 nd projection 32b, which is the other end of the connecting body 5, is positioned substantially directly below the 2 nd rotation shaft 33b of the right cover 31b in conjunction therewith.
The left cover 31a is further rotated in the opening direction, and is fully opened as shown in fig. 3 and 9. In the trash can 10 of fig. 9, the 1 st projection 32a, which is one end of the connecting body 5, is located obliquely above the 1 st rotation shaft 33a of the left cover 31a (fig. 9), and the 2 nd projection 32b, which is the other end of the connecting body 5, is located obliquely below the 2 nd rotation shaft 33b of the right cover 31 b. Since the right lid 31b is opened in conjunction with the left lid 31a, when the left lid 31a is in the fully opened state, the right lid 31b is also in the fully opened state, and the left and right lids 3 are opened in a double manner almost simultaneously, which is convenient. In this state, garbage is thrown in from the opening. According to the trash can 10 of the present embodiment, the operation of opening the trash can 10 in the left-right direction is performed only by first pressing the opening/closing operation portion 4 with the fingers, and the trash can 10 is automatically opened in the left-right direction by releasing the engagement between the opening/closing operation portion 4 and the left lid 31 a.
Next, a method of closing the lid of the trash box 10 in the fully open state will be described with reference to fig. 6 to 9. The operation of closing the lid of the fully opened trash can 10 is performed in the reverse order of fig. 6 to 9, and is performed from fig. 9 to fig. 6. The user operates the left cover 31a by looking at the locking piece 35a having a visual confirmation function protruding in the distal direction at the distal end of the left cover 31 a. In the fully opened trash can 10 of fig. 9, the left cover 31a is rotated by hand in the closing direction (clockwise direction in front view) against the spring force. The left lid 31a is further rotated in the closing direction, and is shown in a half-opened state in fig. 8.
When the left cover 31a is pressed by hand in the closing direction (the direction opposite to the reference symbol X in fig. 6 and 7), the 1 st projection 32a rotates clockwise about the axis of the 1 st rotating shaft 33 a. Therefore, the connecting body 5 moves rightward in fig. 7, and simultaneously rotates the 2 nd projection 32b of the right cover 31b counterclockwise. When the left and right covers 3 are closed, the 1 st projection 32a, which is one end of the connecting body 5, is positioned diagonally above and to the right of the 1 st rotation axis 33a of the left cover 31a (fig. 6), and in conjunction therewith, the 2 nd projection 32b, which is the other end of the connecting body 5, is positioned diagonally below and to the right of the 2 nd rotation axis 33b of the right cover 31 b. When the left and right covers 3 are closed, the region near the locking piece 35a of the left cover 31a is pushed slightly strongly into the cover frame 2. Thereby, the locking projection 34 of the left cover 31a is inserted into the locking hole 45 of the opening/closing operation portion 4, and the left cover 31a is locked with respect to the cover frame 2. Further, the right lid 31b is brought into a closed state in conjunction with the left lid 31a, and the locking piece 35a of the left lid 31a is fitted into the locking recess 35b of the right lid 31b, so that the opening is closed by the left and right lids 3, and the upper surfaces of the left and right lids 3 become flat surfaces. The locking piece 35a of the left cover 31a presses the right cover 31b, and the right cover 31b is not opened alone. Further, since the locking projection 34 of the left cover 31a has an acute-angle-shaped edge shape whose upper surface is a horizontal plane in cross section, the left and right covers 3 are opened only by operating the opening/closing operation portion 4.
According to the trash can 10, when the opening/closing operation unit 4 is operated to be in the open state, the left cover 31a of the left and right covers 3, which is biased by the spring, is rotated by the spring force, and the right cover 31b, which is not biased by the spring, is rotated in conjunction with the operation of the coupling body 5 that couples the left and right covers 3. Therefore, in a place where the upper space is limited, the available place is widely selected as long as half of the upper space is available as compared with a conventional trash can with a single lid. Further, the open/close operation unit 4 can be set to the open state only by being pressed, and the lid can be easily opened and closed even in an unstable installation state such as a drawer.
