提供了一种无线通信的方法和设备,能够降低终端设备的功耗。所述方法包括:终端设备接收第一指示信息,所述第一指示信息用于指示所述终端设备停止、启动或重启非连续接收DRX的去激活定时器;所述终端设备接收到物理下行控制信道PDCCH时,根据所述第一指示信息停止、启动或重启所述去激活定时器。本申请实施例中,网络设备通过所述第一指示信息,可以动态的指示终端设备是否需要停止、启动或重启去激活定时器(drx‑InactivityTimer),避免了终端设备接收到PDCCH就启动或重启drx‑InactivityTimer,能够有效降低终端设备盲检PDCCH的时间,进而降低所述终端设备的功耗。
