The thigh section (11) is covered by a weather layer (2) on the side of the skin contact layer (1) facing away from the skin and on a plurality of fastening sections (24), wherein the recesses of the unfastened sections are inseparably connected together along the side edges (23) of the skin contact layer (1), and the weather layer (2) can be moved up and down in sections individually relative to the skin contact layer (1) when the skin contact layer (1) is moved, so that a pumping action of air is achieved along the inner surface of the weather layer (2) outwards by the surface of the skin contact layer (1) and the unfastened sections of the inner surface of the weather layer (2).

Description

Weather-proof weather-adjusting sports pants
Technical Field
The invention describes a climate regulating sport pants for endurance sports provided with a textile skin contact layer directly on the skin of the wearer, which contact layer extends from a contact composite layer via a thigh section to a knee section.
Background
For different types of endurance sports, various sports pants are known, which may also be defined as running pants, and which have climate regulating features while protecting the legs of the wearer from the weather.
US5153944 describes a pair of trousers which can be converted into shorts, in which ventilation of the lower leg is achieved and which can carry moisture and heat away from the body of the wearer. In addition, the fixed weather layer can be detached. However, this solution is cumbersome and not suitable for endurance sports in cool weather.
US2009178174 describes a multi-layered sport pants having a skin-contacting layer and a layer covering the skin-contacting layer, which layer takes the shape of the outer skin and defines it as a weather resistant layer. In the weather layer, a plurality of ventilation holes are provided which can be opened and closed by a zipper. Typically, the skin contact layer extends below the vent holes, thereby protecting the wearer's skin and preventing viewing through the vent holes.
By means of this solution a local air flow can be achieved at the location of the ventilation holes. The skin contact layer lies directly against the skin at the location of the vent holes and air can only pass through the vent holes to the exposed location below the vent holes. Although the area of the vent holes is relatively large, such sports pants achieve only a small cooling effect. Furthermore, there is a risk of moisture penetrating into the interior through the vent holes.
EP3178336 describes sports pants made mainly of a base textile and provided with ventilation holes in the front of the sports pants. These ventilation holes extend over the main area of the sport pants, in the thigh section from the buttocks to the knees. The shape of the ventilation holes can be varied and here as large a cross-sectional area as possible is selected. The ventilation holes are designed as recesses, extending over the main area of the sports pants. These recesses extend into the pockets in the hip area of the sport pants. In the area of the ventilation holes, an air-permeable material is provided which covers the major part, wherein a mesh is preferred. To cover the skin, the recesses or the mesh of the wearer, a flap should be provided. Where multiple components are required, they must be properly aligned and sewn together in a time consuming manner. Since the sports pants are mainly produced for tennis players who often perform strong and sudden hip movements, the ventilation effect seems to be applicable only to tennis. In the field of endurance sports, for example: long distance running or skiing, tennis-like motion does not occur, and thus the ventilation or climate control effect is limited because of the reduced achievable airflow. To further increase the air flow, it is also described in EP3178336 to provide additional recesses, mesh and flaps in the buttocks.
This type of ventilation is not suitable for multi-layer sport pants in endurance sports, especially when doing sports in cold outdoor weather. The production process of such sports pants is very time-consuming, since it requires a plurality of components made of a suitable textile and must be fixed to each other in different positions in a defined relationship, in particular must be sewn together. In addition, other components must be added to enhance the ventilation effect.
Disclosure of Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide a pair of climate regulating sport pants having a close-fitting skin contact layer, and having an additional weather resistant layer which improves the climate regulating effect of the close-fitting skin contact layer and is protected from the weather, thereby improving the climate regulating sport pants as a whole.
Another object of the invention is to produce such climate regulating sport pants in a simple manner and in a simplest manner, wherein as few additional components as possible are included.
The climate-controlled ventilation of the climate-controlled sport pants is simplified by a special weather layer which is only partially fixed between the contact composite layer and the knee part, wherein the ventilation openings which are provided are opened only in response to the movement of the legs only during a corresponding movement of the wearer.
The skin contact layer and the skin of the wearer are optimally protected from the weather, since the open openings or ventilation holes are no longer maintained at all times, and wind and moisture cannot penetrate in from the outside.
These objects are achieved by a climate regulating sport pants as claimed in claim 1.
By a suitable choice of the weather layer, the openings and a suitable fixing of the weather layer on the skin contact layer only by a part of the connection, a pumping effect can be achieved in the movement of the skin contact layer relative to the weather layer. The air flow from the buttocks to the knees and vice versa is achieved by the pumping effect.

Detailed Description
The climate regulating sport pants here are multi-layer sport pants, at least two-layer sport pants, for endurance sports, for example: jogging and skating, particularly for winter sports, such as: skiing over long distances, the sport pants comprise a skin contact layer 1 which is as close to the skin of the wearer as possible.
The skin contact layer 1 is preferably a knitted fabric, particularly preferably made of a knitted fabric or knitted fabric, and is applied directly to the skin of the wearer. Here, a seamless knitted fabric is preferably shown, the endless knitted seamless knitted fabric being produced by a circular knitting machine. Even if stitching is described, this is a seamless knitted fabric. The advantage of a knitted fabric is that it forms a knitted fabric which is as soft as possible and which optimally rests on and is in contact with the skin of the wearer. Without (too many) seams, the skin irritation is reduced and the wearing comfort is improved. Furthermore, the knitted fabric is designed to be knitted from at least one yarn. Due to the different weave structures and the high-tech weaving techniques used, a flexible, snug skin contact layer 1 can be achieved here, which provides sufficient support and good climate comfort.
The skin contact layer 1 extends from the contact composite layer 10 via the thigh portion 11 and the knee portion 12 to the calf portion 13. A hip portion 14 and a popliteal portion 15 are formed at respective elevations on the back of the pant. In order to achieve a specific climate regulating effect and/or a snug effect in the different sections and regions 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, the weave pattern, the number of woven layers or yarns, the density of the mesh and/or the material and thickness of the yarns are selected purposefully. In this way, different climate zones and/or tight areas may be formed on the climate regulating sport pants, thereby improving wearer comfort and increasing the wearer's ability during exercise. In the thigh section 11, a seamless knitted fabric is provided which distributes sweat over the thighs and partially retains it on the skin of the wearer, so that sweat can be directly evaporated at important muscle groups, thereby having a good cooling effect.
An additional cling layer may be provided on thigh section 11 having a rib structure made of a base knit with protruding textile ribs. Wherein the textile rib is arranged to protrude from the base knitted fabric on the side facing the skin of the wearer. The textile rib is produced by a suitable weaving pattern in which the projecting ends of the textile rib are spaced from the base knitted fabric by a distance of a plurality of yarn thicknesses. Depending on the type of knitting or the knitting pattern, a ribbed skin contact layer 1 consisting of a base knit and a plurality of textile ribs can be produced, as is known to those skilled in the art. Such knitted fabrics, known as "seamless", having a plurality of rib structures and textile ribs have a high elongation, depending on the knitting pattern, of at least 40% to 100% in at least one direction of elongation. Common materials for the skin contact layer 1 are polyesters, polyamides, polyacrylates, polypropylenes, polyurethanes and yarn mixtures made of these materials.
In the popliteal fossa portion 15, there is provided a moisture-permeable knitted mesh that facilitates the evaporation of sweat at the popliteal fossa portion 15 or directs sweat to the outside without restricting the mobility of the wearer's knees. In the lower leg portion 13, a cushion (called a "pad") for thermal insulation is provided at the height of the wearer's calf, and is a thickened knitted region. The ribs and channels can be formed on the skin-facing side of the cushion by a selected weave pattern to store hot air adjacent the body in the channels. This prevents the calf region from catching cold by the cushion. This type of cushion can also be made by a suitable weave pattern or a suitable loop.
Since in cold weather the low temperatures in the leg area cannot be completely prevented by such a skin contact layer 1, a weather-proof solution is provided here. This is achieved by the weather layer 2 which does not affect the climate regulating action of the skin contact layer 1 and which also promotes the climate regulating action, as will be described below with reference to fig. 2.
The weather layer 2 used here is designed to be smaller than the size of the skin contact layer 1, is arranged in the thigh area of the skin contact layer 1 and partly covers the skin contact layer 1. Thus, the skin contact layer 1 is always partially visible. The weather layer 2 is designed to extend under the contact composite layer 10, covering the thigh section 11 up to the knee section 12. From the coupling end 20 to the knee end 21, the weather layer 2 covers the thigh portion 11 of the skin contact layer 1 in the direction of its longitudinal axis L.
The weather layer 2 is arranged on the skin contact layer 1 on the side facing away from the skin, as indicated by the horizontal arrows in fig. 2, and is connected to some of the fastening portions 24. The weather layer 2 is fixed by suitable fixing portions along side edges 23 which extend approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis L of the weather layer 2.
The weather layer 2 is fixed to the skin contact layer 1 along the side edge 23 in sections at least at some points in some of the fixing portions 24. The fastening portions 24 are located on the side of the thigh portion 11 on the skin contact layer 1 when the wearer wears on the inner and outer thighs.
The fixation is done by sewing or gluing the weather layer 2 to the skin contact layer 1 at the fixation portion 24. The fastening may be accomplished by a snap as shown in fig. 2.
It is important that the weather layer 2 can move relative to the skin contact layer 1 when the legs of the wearer move. Accordingly, an unsecured portion of the weather layer 2 is formed along the side edge 23. In these loose parts, the weather layer 2 can be moved away from the skin contact layer 1, so that air circulation is achieved when the wearer moves the legs. In the unfixed portion, the weather layer 2 is loosely placed on the skin contact layer 1.
In order to further optimize the air circulation, the weather layer 2 should also be fixed only in sections at the knee ends 21 to the knee portion 12 of the skin contact layer 1. At the knee end 21, a transverse groove is formed as an inlet for an air intake passage through which air can be guided from outside the knee end 21 to the surface of the skin contact layer 1.
The weather resistant layer 2 is here used as an outer coating layer which does not completely cover the skin contact layer 1 and/or is only fixed in sections along the side edges 23, so that there are 5 unfixed portions. The weather resistant layer 2 is designed to be wind resistant, as far as possible permeable to water vapor, and preferably is designed to be waterproof, so that the underlying skin contact layer 1 is protected. The weather resistant layer 2 may be made of a synthetic fiber woven, knitted or braided textile. Suitable fibers should absorb little moisture and have a high moisture wicking capacity.
The weather resistant layer 2 may preferably be made of a film or film laminate that is wind resistant, water vapor permeable, and preferably made waterproof. Suitable films are well known.
The film laminate comprises at least one film layer and at least one textile layer of the knit or woven layer type, to which the film layer is glued, fused or welded. The film layer may comprise a plastic or metal film, preferably Polyurethane (PU) is used. The weather layer 2 is formed by gluing, which is tear and wear resistant, waterproof and wind resistant and/or breathable. If a metal film is used, the film laminate may also reflect thermal radiation.
The weather resistant layer 2 may also consist of a textile layer provided with a coating known to the person skilled in the art, for example a coating made of polyurethane, acrylic or silicone. In the weather layer 2, a plurality of ventilation holes 22 are provided between the coupling end 20 and the knee end 21, which penetrate the weather layer 2. The ventilation openings 22 are designed here as gill-shaped arcs and extend from a maximum height arranged in the middle towards the coupling end 20 to a minimum height towards the two sides of the knee end 21.
At the location of the ventilation holes 22 the weather layer 2 is blocked and is open, but hardly wind or moisture can penetrate the channel-shaped design. In a state where the user's legs are not bent and the weather layer 2 is unstressed, the ventilation holes 22 are almost closed. Thus, the vent holes 22 do not represent permanent openings in the state of the art. The water penetration can be additionally prevented by the curved design of the ventilation openings 22. The ventilation holes 22 are arranged at regular intervals along the weather layer 2, wherein the arc shape of the ventilation holes 22 is always the same.
The weather layer 2 with the ventilation holes 22 is mainly used to keep cool air away from the skin contact layer 1 and thus away from the thighs of the wearer to prevent the legs from catching a cold. When the legs are stretched, the ventilation holes 22 are closed, and the cold air from the outside cannot reach the legs.
When the wearer walks with the climate-regulated multi-layer sport pants, the weather layer 2 moves according to the offset of the lower leg relative to the upper leg, wherein the weather layer tightens and relaxes again. Different areas of the weather layer 2 are located on the skin contact layer 1 in different ways or move undulatedly relative to the skin contact layer 1 or relative to the weather layer 2 facing the surface of the skin contact layer 1. The result is a pumping effect of the movably fixed and deflectable weather layer 2 with respect to the skin contact layer 1, so that more air flow is generated by the relative movement. Thereby pumping air to the thighs. When the legs are bent, the tension of the weather layer 2 pulls the vent holes 22 apart, and air can reach the legs through the open vent holes 22. Through the additional opening of the weather layer 2 at the knee end 21, air can also be pumped from the outside through the inner surface of the weather layer 2 to the skin contact layer 1, where it is discharged through the unsecured portion along the weather layer 2 of the skin contact layer 1. Thus, the climate regulating effect of the skin contact layer 1 can be further improved by the pumping effect of the weather layer 2.
Alternatively, a reflective tape or a reflective tape may be provided at the knee end 21 of the weather layer 2, respectively. The retroreflective tape enhances the wearer's field of vision and may be sewn or glued on. The weather resistant layer 2 is preferably fixed to the skin contact layer 1 by a spot fixing technique or a spot sewing technique. Typically, the weather layer 2 only covers the thigh section 11. In practice, the weather layer 2 consists of a first textile layer coated with an adhesive layer (for example, ester-based and ether-based polyurethanes) and then covered by a second textile layer. In the gluing step, the two fabric layers are glued together at high temperature and high pressure.
