Description
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method for opening a communication service and a communication device.
Background
With the development of communication technology, communication operators have introduced an opening service for communication services that do not change cards or numbers. The opening service without changing cards or numbers refers to a new communication service that can automatically open a communication number of a terminal when network equipment of an operator detects that the terminal held by a user supports the new communication service. The user does not need to go to an entity business hall or an electronic business hall for signing, and a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card, a number and the like are replaced, so that the time for opening a new communication service is saved for the user, and the user experience is improved.
However, in the above technical solution for opening a service of a communication service without card change or number change, if the network device opens a new communication service of a communication number of a terminal owned by a user as long as the terminal supports the new communication service, a problem is caused to the network device. For example, a network device needs to open a new communication service for a large number of communication numbers in a short time. If part of the communication numbers in the large number of communication numbers do not meet the opening condition of the new communication service, and the network device still opens the new communication service for the part of the communication numbers according to the technical scheme, a large pressure is brought to the network device.
Disclosure of Invention
The application provides a communication service opening method and a communication device, which are used for reducing the pressure of network equipment in opening a new communication service for a large number of communication numbers.
In order to achieve the purpose, the following technical scheme is adopted in the application:
in a first aspect, a method for provisioning a communication service is provided, where the method includes:
the method comprises the steps that a first network element receives first request information which is used for requesting to open a first communication service and comprises a communication number which the terminal equipment has from the terminal equipment; under the condition that the communication number is successfully authenticated and has subscription information, the first network element determines to open a first communication service of the communication number, wherein the successful authentication of the communication number comprises the following steps: the identifier which corresponds to the communication number and allows the first communication service to be opened is a first indicator used for indicating that communication data of the communication number meet a preset opening condition, and the communication number has authentication data.
Based on the technical solution of the first aspect, when the first network element receives a request of a communication number for opening a first communication service, if the first network element determines that an identifier, which allows the first communication service to be opened, corresponding to the communication number is a first indicator and the communication number has subscription data, the first network element determines that the first communication service is opened for the communication number. The first indicator is used for indicating that the communication data of the communication number meets a preset opening condition, and based on this, the first network element may screen a large number of communication numbers according to the execution of the above steps when the first communication service needs to be opened for the large number of communication numbers. In this way, for the communication numbers which do not meet the preset opening condition or do not have the subscription data in the large number of communication numbers, the first network element does not execute the operation of opening the first communication service of the communication number, so that the pressure of the communication network for opening the large number of communication numbers can be reduced.
In a second aspect, a communication apparatus is provided, where the communication apparatus may be a first network element, and may also be a chip applied to the first network element, and the communication apparatus may include:

A processing unit, configured to determine, by a first network element, to open a first communication service of a communication number when the communication number is successfully authenticated and has subscription information, where the successful authentication of the communication number includes: the identifier which corresponds to the communication number and allows the first communication service to be opened is a first indicator used for indicating that communication data of the communication number meet a preset opening condition, and the communication number has authentication data.
In a third aspect, a method for opening a communication service is provided, where the method includes: the second network element receives an authentication and authentication request which comprises a communication number and is from the first network element, and sends a response message for indicating that the authentication of the communication number is successful to the first network element under the condition that an identifier which is corresponding to the communication number and allows the first communication service to be opened is a first indicator for indicating that communication data of the communication number meets a preset opening condition and the communication number has authentication data.
Based on the technical solution of the seventh aspect, the second network element may authenticate the communication number according to the authentication data of the communication number and the communication data, and if the communication number has the authentication data and the communication data meets the preset opening condition, the second network element determines that the authentication of the communication number is successful. And under the condition that the authentication of the communication number is successful, the first network element can execute the opening operation of the subsequent communication service. Thus, in the case that a large number of communication numbers need to open the first communication service, the second network element may authenticate the large number of communication numbers according to the above technical solution, so as to exclude the communication numbers that are not authenticated. Thus, the pressure of the communication network opening a large number of communication numbers can be reduced.
In a fourth aspect, a communication apparatus is provided, where the communication apparatus may be a second network element, and may also be a chip applied to the second network element, and the communication apparatus may include:
a communication unit, configured to receive an authentication and authorization request including a communication number from a first network element.

Detailed Description
With the development of communication technology, communication networks are also updated. For example, communication networks have undergone evolution and evolution from 2G to 3G, 4G, voLTE. Current communication networks are accelerating the evolution towards 5G. In each generation of development, in order to facilitate users, communication operators have introduced services for upgrading new communication services without changing cards or numbers, that is, after a terminal device held by a user supports a new communication service, the user does not need to go to an entity business hall or an electronic business hall of the operator for signing a contract, and can automatically open the new communication service.
Taking a communication service in a 5G network (hereinafter, for convenience of description, it may be referred to as a 5G communication service for short) as an example, in the above new method for opening a communication service, the network device may determine, according to the capability of the terminal device, whether to open the 5G communication service for the communication number of the terminal device. Once the 5G communication network detects that the terminal device of the user supports the 5G communication service, and opens the 5G communication service of the user, the following network problems may occur:
1. lawbreakers open 5G communication services by using a clone card/a number stealing card, which causes security risks to a communication system and a communication network.
2. The lawbreakers of part of stocked numbers can adopt one or a few terminal devices supporting 5G capacity to carry out frequent and batch opening of 5G communication services on the stocked numbers, and great pressure and safety risks are brought to a communication system and a network system while arbitrage is attempted.
3. The blacklist user supports the terminal device supporting the 5G capability to open the 5G communication service, and the safety risk to the communication system and the network system can be caused while occupying the resources of the communication system.
If the above-mentioned multiple network problems are superposed, while occupying a large amount of resources of the communication system, it also brings security risk to the communication system.
In order to solve the problem, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for opening a communication service, where the method includes: when the first network element receives a request for opening the first communication service from the terminal device, the first network element determines to open the first communication service for the communication number under the condition that the authentication of the communication number carried in the request is successful and the communication number has subscription data. The successful authentication of the communication number comprises that the identifier of the communication number, which allows the first communication service to be opened, is a first indicator, and the communication number has authentication data. The first indicator is used for indicating that the communication data of the communication number meets the preset opening condition.
The authentication data of the communication number can be used to detect whether the communication number is legal. For example, the authentication data may include one or more of an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), an authentication Key (Ki), a Key (Key), a carrier root Key (OP), an A3/A5/A8 Algorithm, and the like. Taking the authentication data including the IMSI as an example, if the IMSI carried by the communication number is consistent with the IMSI in the communication system, it indicates that the communication number is legal.
It should be noted that the authentication data of the communication number refers to the latest authentication data of the communication number. For example, if a communication number is subjected to a card complementing or card changing action, the communication system needs to update the authentication data of the communication number, so that the authentication data of the communication number in the communication system is consistent with the authentication data of the SIM of the communication number.
The subscription data of the communication number may refer to a communication service that the communication number may use, for example, the communication service may include one or more of an internet service, a communication service, a short message service, and the like.
The first communication service may be a communication service which is applied for opening of a communication number and supported by the terminal device. For example, taking a 5G system network as an example, the first communication service may be a 5G communication service, and the terminal device may be a terminal device supporting a 5G network.
The communication data may refer to call information of a communication number and traffic usage. For example: the communication data may include one or more of accurate marketing data of a market department of the operator, informationized big data analysis, operation and maintenance data analysis, user consumption behavior big data analysis, whether the user belongs to a blacklisted user not allowing the first communication service to be opened, a package of communication numbers, and the like. The following explains the communication data:
1. accurate marketing data for the operator's market segment.
The accurate marketing data refers to communication data of a communication number. For example, the communication data may include communication cost, data traffic used by the communication number, package information of the communication number, and a large demand for the data traffic by the communication number.
2. And (4) informationized big data analysis.
The informationized big data is IP data of a communication number. For example, the IP data may include services bound by a communication number (such as broadband, secondary card, etc.), and network forwarding information of the communication number (such as a number portability case of the communication number).
3. Operation and maintenance big data analysis
The operation and maintenance big data refers to the coverage condition of the 5G communication network in the area where the communication number is located, and the condition that the communication number uses the communication network (such as a 2G network, a 3G network and a 4G network) within the preset time.
4. And analyzing the big data of the user consumption behaviors.
The user consumption behavior big data refers to data usage and telephone charge information of the terminal device where the communication number is located, for example, data such as a communication number using a big bandwidth, a frequency of a high traffic service, a telephone charge of the communication number, a minutes of use (MOU) of the communication number, and a data flow of use (DOU). Of course, other data may be included, for example, average communication time per household per one person user (ARPU) and the like may also be included. And is not limited.
5. Whether the communication number belongs to a blacklist of operators.
Wherein the blacklist may be used to limit the communication behaviour of the communication number. For example, the blacklist may include a blacklist that the 5G communication service is not allowed to be automatically opened, and a blacklist that belongs to a communication service that needs to be restricted from being opened.
It will be appreciated that if a communication number belongs to the operator's blacklist, the communication number may be restricted or disallowed from enabling the associated communication service.
It should be noted that the authentication data, the subscription data, and the communication data of the communication number are merely exemplary, and do not limit the embodiment of the present application.
In the method provided by the embodiment of the application, the first network element may screen the communication numbers according to the subscription data of the communication numbers and whether the authentication of the communication numbers is successful, so as to exclude the communication numbers which fail in authentication or do not have the subscription data, and thus, after excluding the communication numbers which fail in authentication and do not have the subscription data, the number of the communication numbers which open the communication service may be reduced. Therefore, when facing a large amount of application for opening communication numbers of new communication services, the pressure of the communication system can be reduced.
Embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The technical solution of the embodiment of the present application may be applied to various communication systems, for example, the communication system may be a third generation partnership project (3 GPP) communication system, such as a 4G communication system, a 5G communication system, a New Radio (NR) system, a NR vehicle-to-electrical (V2X) system, and other next-generation communication systems, and may also be a non-3 GPP communication system, without limitation. In addition, the communication system can also be applied to future-oriented communication technologies, and the technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present application are all applied. The following describes, by taking fig. 1 as an example, a method for opening a communication service provided in an embodiment of the present application.

Fig. 3 provides a method for opening a communication service according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 3, the method includes:
step 301, the first network element receives the first request information from the terminal device.
The first network element may be the first network element 110 in fig. 1. The terminal device may be terminal device 130 in fig. 1.
The first request information may be used to request to provision the first communication service. The first request message may include a communication number for which the first communication service is to be opened. Of course, the first request message may also include other information, for example, an identifier of the terminal device, without limitation. The first request message may be referred to as a registration request, or may be referred to as another message, which is not described in detail.
The terminal device may actively or passively send the first request message to the first network element. The terminal device actively sending the first request information to the first network element may be that the terminal device may send the first request information to the first network element through the accessed base station after being powered on. The passive sending of the first request information to the first network element by the terminal device may refer to a user sending the first request information to the first network element through an Application (APP) in the terminal device (e.g., a mobile phone business hall) or a short message. Without limitation.
Step 302, under the condition that the authentication of the communication number is successful and the communication number has subscription data, the first network element determines to open the first communication service of the communication number.
The successful authentication of the communication number comprises that the identifier which corresponds to the communication number and allows the first communication service to be opened is a first indicator, and the communication number has subscription data. The first indicator is used for indicating that the communication data of the communication number meets the preset opening condition.
For example, the first indicator may be a numeric value or a string. For example, the first indicator may be 1. That is, when the identifier allowing the first communication service to be opened is 1, the first network element may determine that the communication data of the communication number satisfies the preset opening condition.
It should be noted that, when the identifier allowing the opening of the first communication service is a second indicator (for example, the second indicator is 0), the second indicator is used for indicating that the communication data of the communication number does not satisfy the preset opening condition. And the first network element determines that the communication data of the communication number does not meet the preset opening condition according to the identifier allowing the first communication service to be opened as the second indicator. The first network element may send, to the terminal device, a message that the first communication service cannot be opened, when the communication data of the communication number does not satisfy the preset opening condition.
For the communication data, reference may be made to the above description, which is not repeated herein. The preset opening condition may refer to a condition for opening the first communication service of the communication number, and may be used to open the first communication service of the communication number. The preset enabling condition may be configured to the first network element or another network element (e.g., the second network element) in advance. If the second network element is pre-configured with a preset opening condition, the first network element can authenticate the communication number through interaction with the second network element. Specifically, the technical method shown in fig. 4 is described in detail, and is not repeated herein.
The communication data meeting the preset opening condition may mean that the communication data exceeds a preset threshold. For example, package information including call duration, used data traffic, and communication number is taken as an example of communication data. The communication data meeting the preset opening condition may include one or more of a communication time length exceeding a preset time length, a used data flow exceeding a preset numerical value, and a package of communication numbers exceeding a preset fee. The preset duration, the preset value and the preset fee may be set as required, for example, the preset duration may be 1000 minutes, the preset value may be 5G, and the preset fee may be 56 yuan, which is not limited.
Based on the technical scheme shown in fig. 3, when the first network element receives a request of a communication number for opening the first communication service, if the first network element determines that an identifier, which allows the first communication service to be opened, corresponding to the communication number is the first indicator and the communication number has subscription data, the first network element determines that the first communication service is opened for the communication number. The first indicator is used for indicating that the communication data of the communication number meets a preset opening condition, and based on this, in the case that a large number of communication numbers need to open the first communication service, the first network element may perform the above steps, and may screen the large number of communication numbers. In this way, for the communication numbers which do not meet the preset opening condition or do not have the subscription data in the large number of communication numbers, the first network element does not execute the operation of opening the first communication service of the communication number, so that the pressure of the communication network for opening the large number of communication numbers can be reduced.
In a possible implementation manner, as shown in fig. 4, the first network element may determine that the authentication of the communication number is successful through steps 401 to 403:
step 401, the first network element sends an authentication request to the second network element. Correspondingly, the second network element receives the authentication request from the first network element.
The authentication and authorization request may include a communication number. The authentication request is used for authenticating the communication number. For authenticating the communication number, reference may be made to the description of step 302 in fig. 3, which is not described herein again.
Step 402, the second network element sends a first response message to the first network element when the identifier allowing the first communication service to be opened corresponding to the communication number is the first indicator and the communication number has the authentication data. Accordingly, the first network element receives the first response message from the second network element.
The identifier allowing the first communication service to be opened corresponding to the communication number is the first indicator and the communication number has the authentication data, which is described in the above step 301 and will not be described herein again.
Wherein, the first response message may be used to indicate that the authentication of the communication number is successful. Illustratively, the first response message may include at least one numerical value and/or character. For example, the first response message may include the communication number and a first character indicating that the communication number was successfully authenticated. For example, the first response message may be 132xxxx1234+ S. "132xxxx1234" is a communication number. "S" is the first character.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment of the application, the second network element may preset an identifier, corresponding to the plurality of communication numbers, that allows the first communication service to be opened. When the second network element determines that the communication data of the communication number satisfies the preset opening condition, the second network element may automatically set, as the first indicator, an identifier that allows the first communication service to be opened, which corresponds to the communication number. Alternatively, the second network element may also set, as the first indicator, the identifier that allows the first communication service to be opened in response to an input operation by a worker. The communication data of the second network element may be input by a worker, or may be obtained from other devices by the second network element, for example, the second network element may obtain the communication data of the communication number from the communication service management system 140 in fig. 1. Without limitation.
And step 403, the first network element determines that the authentication of the communication number is successful according to the first response message.
And after receiving the first response message, the first network element determines that the authentication of the communication number is successful according to the communication number and the first character in the first response message.
Based on the technical scheme of fig. 4, the second network element may authenticate the communication number according to the authentication data of the communication number and the communication data, and if the communication number has the authentication data and the communication data meets the preset opening condition, the second network element determines that the authentication of the communication number is successful. Under the condition that the authentication of the communication number is successful, the first network element can execute the opening operation of the subsequent communication service. Therefore, in the case that a large number of communication numbers need to open the first communication service, the second network element can authenticate a large number of communication numbers according to the above technical solution, so as to eliminate the communication numbers that have failed in authentication. Thus, the pressure of the communication network opening a large number of communication numbers can be reduced.
In another possible implementation manner, if the first network element determines that the authentication of the communication number is successful, as shown in fig. 4, the method provided in the embodiment of the present application may further include:
step 404, the first network element sends a second request message to the second network element. Accordingly, the second network element receives the second request message from the first network element.
The second request message is used for requesting to acquire subscription data of the communication number.
If the second network element does not have the subscription data of the communication number, the following steps 405 to 406 may be executed; if the second network element has the subscription data of the communication number, step 407 may be executed.
Step 405, the second network element sends a second response message to the first network element. Accordingly, the first network element receives the second response message from the second network element.
And the second response message is used for indicating that the subscription data of the communication number cannot be acquired. The subscription data for which the communication number cannot be acquired includes one or more of the following cases: the second network element does not have the subscription data of the communication number, the communication number is an abnormal communication number, the subscription data of the communication number is abnormal, the communication number belongs to a blacklist, and the like. For example, the second response message may be "404Not Found", and the reason for the failure may be "DATA _ Not _ Found" carried in the second response message.
Step 406, the first network element sends a failure message of opening the first communication service to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal equipment receives a failure message of opening the first communication service from the first network element.
When the first network element receives the second response message of the second network element and determines that the first communication service provision of the communication number fails according to the second response message, the first network element may send a first communication service provision failure message to the terminal device.
For example, taking the first network element as the AMF and the second network element as the UDM as an example, after receiving the second response message from the UDM, the AMF may send a registration rejection message to the terminal device, where the registration rejection message may carry a cause value of registration failure. For example, the cause value may be a numeric value, such as 111 (unscheduled).
Further, when a new communication service is opened, the terminal device may need to disconnect the communication connection with the currently used network. In order not to affect the use of the user, the first network element sends a registration failure message to the terminal device after receiving the subscription failure message of the second network element, so that the terminal device can recover the connection with the current network as soon as possible, and the normal use of the user is ensured.
For example, after receiving failure of obtaining subscription data of the UDM, the AMF may return a registration reject message to the terminal device, where the registration reject message carries a cause value of 111 (unscheduled). After receiving the registration reject message of the AMF, the terminal device immediately closes the wireless access capability (e.g., N1 mode capability) and accesses the 4G network, so as to ensure that the user can normally use the 4G communication service. The N1 mode capability of the terminal device can refer to the prior art, and is not described in detail.
In a possible implementation manner, in order to prevent the terminal device from continuously sending the request for opening the first communication service through the base station after the first communication service opening failure occurs. The terminal device may also have a timer (e.g., T3502 timer). After receiving the registration rejection message, the terminal device may start a timer, set a preset time for the timer, and stop sending the request for opening the first communication service within the preset time. The preset time can be set according to the requirement, for example, can be 12 minutes, and is not limited.
Step 407, the second network element sends the first notification information to the communication service management system. Accordingly, the communication service management system receives the first notification information from the second network element.
The first notification information is used for indicating that the first communication service of the communication number is opened.
For example, the first communication information may include a communication number and an identification of the first communication service being opened. The identifier may be a numeric value and/or a character, without limitation. The first communication information may refer to the first response message, which is not described in detail.
After receiving the first notification information, the communication service management system may send a response message to the second network element, where the response message is used to indicate that the first notification information is received.
Step 408, the communication service management system sends notification information for opening the first communication service to the terminal device.
After receiving the first notification message of the second network element, the communication service management system may send a notification message for opening the first communication service to the terminal device. The first notification information may include opening the first communication service, a notice to open the first communication service, asking the user to confirm or reject the opening, an opening time, and the like.
For example, taking the first communication service as the 5G communication service as an example, the first notification message may include a specific communication service (e.g., a network slice) for opening the 5G communication service, a notice for opening the 5G communication service (e.g., a package change), a request for the user to confirm the opening (e.g., opening, please reply to "Y") or reject the opening (e.g., reject the opening, please reply to "N"), no. 7/2020, and the like.
Step 409, in response to the confirmation operation of the user, the terminal device sends a message for determining to open the first communication service to the communication service management system. Correspondingly, the communication service management system receives a message from the terminal equipment for determining to open the first communication service.
If the user confirms to open the first communication service, the user may input a message for confirming to open the first communication service through the terminal device, such as a reply "Y". In response to the input and transmission operation by the user, the terminal device may transmit a message to the communication service management system to determine that the first communication service is opened.
Step 410, the communication service management system generates a first communication service provisioning work order.
The first communication service fulfillment work order may include information such as a communication number, a first communication service (or an identifier of the first communication service), fulfillment time, and fulfillment time application.
In a possible implementation manner, after the communication service management system generates the first communication service fulfillment work order, the time for executing the first communication service fulfillment work order may also be set. For example, when the communication service management system generates the first communication service provisioning work order, the communication service management system may trigger a timer to start timing, and when the timing time of the timer reaches a preset time, the communication service management system may execute a procedure of provisioning the first communication service of the communication number. Specifically, the following steps 411 to 415 are also referred to in the flow of the first communication service for opening the communication number.
Furthermore, when the communication number opens the communication service, the user data can be deleted, so that the service of the communication number is offline in a short time, and the use of the user is influenced. In order to reduce the influence on the use of the user, the communication service management system may open the first communication service in a time (e.g., at night) when the traffic of the communication number is small, so as to reduce the influence on the user.
Specifically, when the execution time of the first communication service fulfillment work order reaches (for example, the timer reaches the preset time), the first communication service of the communication number may be enabled by the communication service management system by triggering the communication service management system, or the first communication service of the communication number may also be enabled by the communication service management system through the communication service enablement system. Without limitation. Next, a first communication service for which the communication service management system opens a communication number through the communication service provisioning system is taken as an example for description.
The communication service provisioning system may be an integrated service provisioning system (IOM).
For example, as shown in fig. 4, the method provided in the embodiment of the present application may further include:
step 411, the communication service management system sends the first communication service provisioning work order to the communication service provisioning system. Correspondingly, the communication service provisioning system receives the first communication service provisioning work order from the communication service management system.
Step 412, the communication service provisioning system performs a subscription operation of the first communication service for the communication number.
The subscription operation refers to allowing the communication number to use the first communication service. For example, taking the first communication service as a 5G communication service as an example, the communication service provisioning system may perform a subscription operation of 5G for the communication number, so that the terminal device may use the 5G communication service through the 5G base station.
Step 413, if the subscription is successful, the communication service provisioning system deletes the initial subscription data of the communication number in the third network element.
The third network element may be an HSS or a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF).
The initial subscription data refers to subscription data before the communication number opens the first communication service. For example, if the communication number applies for opening a 5G communication service, the initial subscription data refers to subscription data corresponding to a 4G communication service of the communication number. For example, the initial subscription data may be internet protocol multimedia system (IMS) subscription data.
For example, the communication service provisioning system may delete the subscription data of the communication numbers in the HSS and the PCRF of the 4G network.
Therefore, when the terminal equipment uses the first communication service, the influence of the initial subscription data on the use of the first communication service can be avoided.
And step 414, if the first communication service of the communication number is successfully opened, the communication service opening system sends a first communication service opening success message to the communication service management system. Correspondingly, the communication service management system receives the first communication service provisioning success message from the communication service provisioning system.
Step 415, the communication service management system sends a first communication service provisioning success message to the terminal device. Accordingly, the terminal device may receive the first communication service provisioning success message from the communication service management system.
For example, the communication service management system may send the first communication service provisioning success message to the terminal device in the form of a short message.
Optionally, the execution sequence of step 415 and step 412 is not sequential. For example, step 412 may be performed first, followed by step 415. Alternatively, step 415 may be performed first, and then step 412 may be performed, without limitation.
Step 416, after deleting the initial subscription data of the communication number, the third network element sends a message of deleting the initial subscription data and the logout position to the terminal device.
The third network element may send a message of deleting the initial subscription data and the logout position directly to the terminal device, or may send a message of deleting the initial subscription data and the logout position through another network element. For example, the third network element may send a message to delete the initial subscription data and the deregister position to the terminal device through one or more network elements, respectively.
For example, taking the third network element as the HSS as an example, the HSS may send a message to delete the initial subscription data to the S-CSCF. After receiving the message of deleting the initial subscription data, the S-CSCF may send the message of deleting the initial subscription data to the terminal device.
For another example, the HSS may send a Location deregistration (Cancel Location) message to the MME, where the detach Reason (remove person) carried in the message is subscription revocation (subscription). After receiving the Cancel Location message, the MME may send a message of canceling the Location to the terminal device.
Further, the MME may also send a Detach Request (Detach Request) to the terminal device. Wherein, the re-attach required flag bit carried in the Detach Request is 1, so as to trigger the terminal device to re-register the 4G communication service.
Step 417, the terminal device re-registers.
The terminal device may re-register the 4G communication service and register the IMS service according to the re-attach required flag bit, so that the MME and the 5G core network (5G core, 5gc) may jointly provide a communication service (such as a service of the 4G communication service) for the terminal device.
Further, if the timer of the terminal device is overtime, the terminal device may open the N1 mode capability, and perform network reselection in the coverage area of the 5G network, so as to access the 5G network.
