The invention discloses a system for STA to select and switch APs in a multi-AP environment, which comprises a screen-off triggering module, an AP selecting module, an AP switching module and a network speed testing module, wherein the screen-off triggering module is used for triggering and executing the method, namely an entry of the method, the AP selecting module is used for selecting an AP which does not pass the network speed test from an authenticated AP list, if all the APs pass the network speed test, the program is ended, the AP switching module is used for disconnecting the existing connection to connect a designated AP, and the network speed testing module is used for testing the current network speed. According to the invention, the AP selection and switching are automatically carried out after the STA is on the screen, so that the operation burden of a user is not increased; the method can automatically help the STA to select and switch to the connection with the fastest network speed, so that the STA obtains the fastest network speed in the current network environment, and can exert the network performance of the AP to a greater extent.

Background
WiFi network speed is an important indicator for measuring WiFi performance, and is an object of important improvement since the invention of wireless networks.
Firstly, due to technical iteration, the WiFi speeds of different protocol versions are different, and the speeds under the same protocol version are also different. After the STAs attach to the AP, they negotiate a rate with each other, which is then used for communication. The method and the system for STA to select and switch the AP under the multi-AP environment are provided aiming at the problems, the use gap of a user is reasonably utilized, after the STA is stopped, the previously authenticated APs are tried one by one, the network speed is tested, and then the connection with the highest network speed in the authenticated list is switched, so that the user can enjoy the connection with the fastest speed in the current wireless network environment when using the STA next time.

Referring to fig. 1, a system for STA selecting and switching APs in a multi-AP environment includes a screen-off triggering module, an AP selecting module, an AP switching module and a network speed testing module, where the screen-off triggering module is used to trigger execution of the method, i.e. an entry of the method, the AP selecting module is used to select an AP that does not pass the network speed test from an authenticated AP list, if all APs have passed the network speed test, the program ends, the AP switching module is used to disconnect the existing connection to connect to a designated AP, and the network speed testing module is used to test the current network speed.
As shown in fig. 2, a method for selecting and switching APs by an STA in a multi-AP environment includes the following specific procedures: the screen-extinguishing triggering module is triggered when the STA is in screen, the trigger is sent to the AP selection module, the AP selection module can select one AP which is not subjected to the network speed test from an AP list (authenticated, namely, the AP which is connected before and cannot be connected without the authentication, the password is not known) to be connected, and if all the APs in the list are subjected to the test, all the test marks are cleared and the AP is withdrawn.
And when the network speed is found to be low when the network speed is switched from the original connection to other connections, switching back to the original connection, and continuing to attempt to connect the next connection from the original connection. Therefore, when switching to a connection without a network or with an excessively low network speed, the data communication method can ensure that the data communication of the STA is normal.
The network speed testing tool uses a speedtest_cli (an open source network speed testing tool, servers of which are distributed around the world, can automatically select a server closest to the current network for testing, and can manually designate the server for uploading and downloading testing), and the error caused by single testing is reduced by performing three-time testing and averaging on each connection.
According to the invention, the AP selection and switching are automatically carried out after the STA is on the screen, so that the operation burden of a user is not increased; can automatically help the STA to select and switch to the connection with the fastest network speed, so that the STA obtains the fastest network speed in the current network environment

Claims (4)
1. A method for a STA to select and switch APs in a multi-AP environment, comprising the steps of:
s1: the STA screen-off action generates a screen-off event so as to enter a callback processing function of the screen-off triggering module;
s2: detecting whether an untested AP exists, if so, executing a step S3, and if not, executing a step S7;
s3: testing the current network speed by using a network speed testing tool and recording; then connecting an untested AP, and testing the network speed;
s4: if the current network rate is greater than the original network rate, executing the step S5, and if not, executing the step S6;
s5: stay in this network, and test the rest of untested AP, carry out step S2;
s6: marking the current network as tested, switching back to the original network, and executing the step S2;
s7: clearing all test marks in the list and exiting;
in step S3, the network speed testing tool uses a speedtest_cli to perform three tests on each connection and average the value so as to reduce errors caused by single test; the speedtest_cli is an open source network speed testing tool, servers are distributed around the world, and can automatically select a server closest to the current network for testing, and can manually designate the server for uploading and downloading testing.
