背景技术
通常,显示装置包括显示面板、显示驱动装置和定时控制器。显示驱动装置将数字图像数据转换为源极驱动信号,并将源极驱动信号提供至显示面板。
根据退化程度,显示面板可能具有在像素之间不均匀的特性。为了补偿像素之间的这种特性偏差,显示驱动装置检测像素信号,将像素信号转换为作为数字信号的像素数据,并将像素数据提供至定时控制器。

发明内容

在感测线SL的电压达到第一参考电压VREFH或第二参考电压VREFL以上的情况下,第一比较器14和第二比较器16使第一比较信号或第二比较信号为逻辑高。
响应于第一比较信号或第二比较信号,OR元件18使复位信号SW_RST为逻辑高。
复位电路19可响应于复位信号SW_RST将感测线SL初始化为复位电压。
以这种方式,在包括电压限制器10的显示驱动装置100中,在由于显示面板200的像素中出现缺陷而导致过电流Idamage流经的情况下,复位信号SW_RST可以被使能以在感测操作开始之前将感测线SL的电压电平初始化为等于或近似于初始值的值。
同时,显示驱动装置100可以包括内部电压产生电路(未示出),该内部电压产生电路产生第一参考电压VREFH和第二参考电压VREFL。内部电压产生电路可产生多个内部电压,且可选择针对限制内部电压中的电压变化的操作而优化的内部电压作为第一参考电压VREFH和第二参考电压VREFL。
例如,内部电压产生电路可以通过使用解码器、电压参考和控制信号(诸如包)在多个内部电压之中选择适于显示面板200的特性的电压作为第一参考电压和第二参考电压。显示面板200的特性可以包括根据像素的诸如阈值电压和迁移率等特性的、感测线的正常电压变化幅度。
从以上描述中可以明显看出,在根据实施例的显示驱动装置100中,可以通过限制由于缺陷像素中出现的过电流而引起的突然的电压变化来最小化显示面板200的缺陷像素对正常通道的感测数据的影响。
此外,在根据实施例的显示驱动装置100中,由于可以预期正常补偿,所以可以改善图像质量方面的性能。
此外,在根据实施例的显示驱动装置100中,可以通过最小化在出现少量的缺陷像素时引起的图像质量下降来预期可靠性或生产率的提高。
虽然上面已经描述了各种实施例,但是本领域的技术人员将理解,所描述的实施例仅仅是示例性的。因此,不应基于所描述的实施例来限制本文所描述的公开内容。

Claims (19)

1.显示驱动装置,包括:
感测线,配置为感测显示面板的像素信号;以及
电压限制器,设置在每个所述感测线中,
其中,所述电压限制器感测所述感测线的电压变化,并且将所述感测线的电压电平限制为参考电压。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述电压限制器包括:
第一二极管,具有连接到所述感测线的阳极端子和连接到第一端子的阴极端子;以及
第二二极管,具有连接到所述感测线的阴极端子和连接到第二端子的阳极端子;
其中,所述参考电压施加到所述第一端子和所述第二端子。
3.根据权利要求2所述的显示驱动装置,其中,当所述感测线的电压变化大于所述第一二极管和所述第二二极管的阈值电压时,所述电压限制器将所述感测线的所述电压电平限制为所述参考电压。
4.根据权利要求1所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述电压限制器将所述参考电压设定为初始值,所述感测线在初始化周期期间被初始化为所述初始值。
5.根据权利要求1所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述电压限制器包括:
第一比较器,配置为比较所述感测线的电压与第一参考电压,并输出第一比较信号;
第二比较器,配置为比较所述感测线的所述电压和第二参考电压,并输出第二比较信号;以及
运算器,配置为通过对所述第一比较信号和所述第二比较信号执行逻辑函数来输出复位信号。
6.根据权利要求5所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述运算器包括或门OR元件。
7.根据权利要求5所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述电压限制器还包括:
复位电路,配置为响应于所述复位信号将所述感测线初始化为所述参考电压。
8.根据权利要求7所述的显示驱动装置,其中,在所述感测线的电压改变为等于或大于所述第一参考电压或所述第二参考电压的情况下,所述电压限制器输出所述复位信号。
9.根据权利要求5所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述电压限制器将所述第一参考电压的电平和所述第二参考电压的电平设定为低于二极管的阈值电压,以便感测小于所述二极管的阈值电压的电压变化。
10.显示驱动装置,包括:
感测线,配置为感测显示面板的像素信号;以及
电压限制器,对应于每个所述感测线,并且配置为感测所述感测线的电压变化并且将所述感测线的电压电平限制为参考电压;
所述电压限制器包括:
第一二极管,具有连接到所述感测线的阳极端子和连接到第一端子的阴极端子,所述第一端子被施加所述参考电压;以及
第二二极管,具有连接到第二端子的阳极端子和连接到所述感测线的阴极端子,所述第二端子被施加所述参考电压。
11.根据权利要求10所述的显示驱动装置,其中,当所述感测线的电压变化大于所述第一二极管和所述第二二极管的阈值电压时,所述电压限制器将所述感测线的电平限制为所述参考电压。
12.根据权利要求10所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述电压限制器将所述参考电压设定为初始值,所述感测线在初始化周期期间被初始化为所述初始值。
13.显示驱动装置,包括:
感测线,配置为感测显示面板的像素信号;以及
电压限制器,对应于每个所述感测线,并且配置为感测所述感测线的电压变化并且将所述感测线的电压电平限制为参考电压;
所述电压限制器包括:
第一比较器,配置为比较所述感测线的电压与第一参考电压,并输出第一比较信号;
第二比较器,配置为比较所述感测线的电压和第二参考电压,并输出第二比较信号;以及
运算器,配置为通过对所述第一比较信号和所述第二比较信号执行逻辑函数来输出复位信号。
14.根据权利要求13所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述运算器包括或门OR元件。
15.根据权利要求13所述的显示驱动装置,其中所述电压限制器还包括:
复位电路,配置为响应于所述复位信号将所述感测线初始化为所述参考电压。
16.根据权利要求15所述的显示驱动装置,其中,在所述感测线的电压改变为等于或大于所述第一参考电压或所述第二参考电压的情况下,所述电压限制器输出所述复位信号。
17.根据权利要求13所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述电压限制器将所述第一参考电压和所述第二参考电压设定为低于二极管的阈值电压的电平,以便感测小于所述二极管的阈值电压的电压变化。
18.如权利要求13所述的显示驱动装置,还包括:
内部电压产生电路,配置为产生多个内部电压,并将所述多个内部电压提供至所述电压限制器,
其中,所述多个内部电压中的至少一个被设定为所述第一参考电压和所述第二参考电压。
19.根据权利要求18所述的显示驱动装置,其中,所述内部电压产生电路在所述多个内部电压中选择对应于所述显示面板的特性的电压作为所述第一参考电压和所述第二参考电压。
