The working principle of the camera code scanning system provided by the invention is as follows: when the two-dimensional code on the upper surface of an object is scanned by using the code scanning camera 8, the code scanning camera 8 in the movable mounting seat 6 is kept vertically downwards, the threaded rod 32 is driven to rotate by the rotary knob 33, and the sliding beam 2 is driven by the threaded connecting sleeve 31 to slide up and down along the threaded rod 32 due to the fixed connection of the threaded connecting sleeve 31 on the threaded rod 32 and the limiting connecting sleeve 42 sleeved on the limiting rod 41, so that the height of the code scanning camera 8 mounted on the sliding beam 2 is conveniently adjusted, the code scanning operation is carried out on the objects with different sizes, the mounting seat 6 slides left and right along the sliding rod 52 by the sliding mounting seat 6 through the sliding block 53, and the code scanning camera 8 can scan the two-dimensional codes with different left and right directions of the object; when the code scanning camera 8 is used for scanning the two-dimensional code on the side of the object, the connecting block 73 is rotated to enable the scanning direction of the code scanning camera 8 to be opposite to that of the threaded rod 32, and the fixed threaded rod 92 is rotated to enable the fixed threaded rod 92 to be inserted into the threaded connecting pipe 91, so that the phenomenon that the code scanning camera 8 rotates and deviates to cause poor scanning effect is avoided; when the code scanning camera 8 is not used, the connecting block 73 is rotated to enable the scanning direction of the code scanning camera 8 to be opposite to the threaded rod 32, the code scanning camera 8 slides into the through cavity 92a formed in the protective cover 91a through the sliding mounting seat 6, the phenomenon that the code scanning camera 8 is damaged when the code scanning camera 8 is not used is avoided, when the code scanning camera 8 slides into the through cavity 92a formed in the protective cover 91a through the sliding mounting seat 6, the limiting block 91b and the rotating rod 92b slide into the clamping sleeve 91c, at the moment, the rotating rod 92b compresses the first spring 93b until the rotating rod 92b slides into a position corresponding to the limiting hole 92c, the top end of the rotating rod 92b is sprung into the limiting hole 92c through the first spring 93b, so that the clamping of the mounting seat 6 and the protective cover 91a is completed, when the code scanning camera 8 is not used, the pushing plate 93c presses down the rotating rod 92b in the limiting hole 92c, and the mounting seat 6 is slid outwards so that the limiting block 91b is separated from the clamping sleeve 91c, and the locking of the mounting seat 91a is released.
