Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
The terms first, second and the like in the description and in the claims of the present application are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It will be appreciated that the data so used may be interchanged under appropriate circumstances such that embodiments of the application may be practiced in sequences other than those illustrated or described herein, and that the terms "first," "second," and the like are generally used herein in a generic sense and do not limit the number of terms, e.g., the first term can be one or more than one. In addition, "and/or" in the specification and claims means at least one of connected objects, a character "/" generally means that a preceding and succeeding related objects are in an "or" relationship.
The content selection method provided by the embodiment of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings through specific embodiments and application scenarios thereof.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a content selection method provided in an embodiment of the present application, where the content selection method is applied to an electronic device including at least two screens, such as an electronic device provided with a folding screen and an electronic device provided with multiple screens (e.g., a dual-sided screen). It should be noted that, the at least two screens described herein refer to physically separate screens.
As shown in fig. 1, the content selection method includes:
step 101: in the case of receiving a first input to a first page, a second input to a second page is received.
The first page is a display page in a first screen of the electronic device, and the second page is a display page in a second screen of the electronic device.
In the embodiment of the application, the second input to the second page is received when the electronic device receives the first input, that is, the first input and the second input form a multi-touch operation.
Step 102: based on the first input and the second input, a starting position and an ending position are determined.
In the embodiment of the application, a starting position and an ending position can be determined according to a first input to a first page and a second input to a second page respectively. When the position determined according to the first input is a starting position, the position determined according to the second input is an end position; when the position determined from the first input is the end position, the position determined from the second input is the start position.
The starting and ending positions described herein may be referenced to the reading direction. For example, in the reading direction, if the content displayed in the first page is before the content displayed in the second page, a starting position may be determined based on the first input and an ending position may be determined based on the second input. Conversely, if the content displayed in the first page is subsequent to the content displayed in the second page, an ending location may be determined based on the first input and a starting location may be determined based on the second input.
Step 103: and determining the content between the starting position and the end position as the selected target content.
After the determination of the start position and the end position is completed, the electronic device may determine content between the start position and the end position as the selected target content.
In the embodiment of the application, the cross-screen selection of the content is completed in a multi-point touch mode, the content does not need to be selected through dragging operation in the whole selection process, and the operation is simple.
Further, for two screens that are physically independent, there is a general condition that the two screens are not coherent with each other, for example, for a folded screen, even if the folded screen is in an unfolded state, the two screens that are folded are not coherent as long as the angle of unfolding is not 180 degrees. For two disconnected screens, when selection operation is performed through single-point touch operation, sliding operation on the two screens is not connected, and an existing system cannot drag a selection identifier in one screen to the other screen, so that cross-screen selection cannot be performed. In the embodiment of the application, the selection operation is coherent in the two screens in a multi-point touch mode, cross-screen selection is realized, the requirement of a user on cross-screen selection is met, and the user can select contents more conveniently.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first page and the second page may be content display pages in the electronic reading. Such electronic readings may include, but are not limited to: information of third-party information applications such as electronic documents and browsers. Among other things, electronic documents may include, but are not limited to: electronic books, electronic notes, electronic notebooks, electronic documents, electronic letters, electronic statements, electronic drawings, and electronic versions of paper text documents, etc. In addition, the target content described in the embodiment of the present application may be rich text, including: at least one of text, pictures, audio, video, and tables.
Optionally, the first input may be a touch operation, including but not limited to: long press touch operation, single click touch operation, double click touch operation, and the like. When a user carries out first input on the first page, recording the touch position of the first input in the first page, and recording the touch position as the starting position of the content to be selected. The second input may be a touch operation, including but not limited to: long press touch operation, single click touch operation, double click touch operation, and the like. And recording the touch position of the second input in the second page when the user performs the second input in the second page, and recording the touch position as the end position of the content to be selected. The second input may be the same or different from the first input.
In the embodiment of the application, after the user performs the first input on the first page, the user continues to maintain the first input. For example, in the case that the first input is a long-press touch operation, the touch object is kept in the long-press touch operation until the selection operation is completed. And under the condition that the first input is the double-click touch operation, after the second click operation in the double-click touch operation is finished, keeping the touch body to be continuously pressed at the starting point position until the selection operation is finished. The touch object described herein may include, but is not limited to: fingers, touch pens, and the like.
To better understand the above selection process, an example is illustrated below.
For example, as shown in fig. 2, the electronic device is a mobile phone, and the mobile phone is provided with a folding screen, and the folding screen includes: a first screen (denoted as s1) and a second screen (denoted as s1) that can be folded over each other. When the first screen and the second screen are in the expanded state, the first page (denoted as page1, corresponding to the first page) in the electronic book a is displayed in the first screen. The second page (denoted as page2, corresponding to the second page) in electronic book a is displayed on the second screen. The first input is a long press touch operation, and the second input is a single click touch operation.
Assume that the content the user wants to select is content starting from a certain location of page1 (denoted as q1) and ending at a certain location of page2 (denoted as q2), where the bold line in fig. 2 illustrates the content between q1 and q 2. In this case, the user can perform a long-press touch operation at p1 in page1 with a finger. When detecting the long-press touch operation of the user, the mobile phone records the touch position (namely q1) of the long-press touch operation in the page1, and records the touch position as the starting position of the content to be selected. After the user performs the long-press touch operation, the user keeps pressing the finger at q1, and meanwhile, the user can continue to perform the single-click touch operation at q2 in the page2 by other fingers. When the mobile phone detects the single-click touch operation of the user, the touch position (namely q2) of the single-click touch operation in the page2 is recorded, and the touch position is recorded as the end position of the content to be selected. Finally, the content between q1 and q2 is determined as the content to be selected.
It is understood that, when the contents displayed in the first screen and the second screen are different contents of the same page, for example, the first half page of the page1 is displayed in the first screen, and the second half page of the page1 is displayed in the second screen, if the user wants to select a content spanning the two screens, the method for determining the starting position and the ending position is also applicable at this time, and the description thereof is omitted here.
It should be noted that the foregoing examples are only for better understanding of the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application, and are not intended to specifically limit the embodiments of the present application.
Alternatively, in the embodiment of the present application, the first input exists in the whole selection process, and therefore, the first input may be set as a processing operation for instructing the start and end of the selection process, that is: the electronic equipment determines that the selection operation starts under the condition that the first input is detected; the electronic device determines that the selection operation is ended when detecting that the first input disappears. Therefore, as long as the first input exists, the continuity of the selection operation can be ensured, and the method is simple to operate and easy to control.
It is understood that, for the end indication of the selection operation, it may also be: after the user completes the second input, the electronic equipment determines that the selection operation is completed under the condition that the electronic equipment detects that the first input and the second input are both disappeared; or the electronic device determines that the selection operation is completed when detecting that the second input disappears. The specific situation can be set according to actual requirements.
Optionally, receiving a first input of a user to the first page; in response to the first input, a target selection function is initiated.
The target selection function described herein is used for simultaneously selecting content displayed in at least two screens, i.e., for cross-screen selection of content.
In this embodiment of the application, after receiving a first input to the first page by the user, the target selection function is started, and meanwhile, a start position or an end position may be determined according to the first input, and specifically, which position may refer to the description about the start position and the end position in step 102. Therefore, two processes are completed through one touch operation, so that the user operation is simplified, and the use of the user is facilitated.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the second page may be an nth page after the first page, or an mth page before the first page. Wherein, N and M are integers which are more than or equal to 1.
That is, the second page may be a page adjacent to the first page, for example, the second page is the first page before the first page (when N is equal to 1) or the first page after the first page (when M is equal to 1). The second page may also be a page that is not adjacent to the first page, such as: the second page is the 3 rd page after the first page (when N equals 3).
When the second page is not adjacent to the first page, the user may call the second page through a page turning operation, so step 102: prior to receiving the second input to the second page, the content selection method further comprises: receiving a third input (i.e., a page-turning operation) in case of receiving the first input; in response to the third input, the display page in the second screen is switched to the second page. Therefore, the cross-screen selection can be realized, and simultaneously, the selection of contents in more pages can be realized, so that the selection mode is enriched.
In order to better understand the above selection manner in the embodiment of the present application, the above folding screen mobile phone is taken as an example here, and the description is continued.
Assume that the user wants to select content starting at a location on page1 (denoted as q1) and ending at a location on page4 (denoted as q 2). In this case, the user can perform a long-press touch operation at p1 in page1 with a finger. When detecting the long-press touch operation of the user, the mobile phone records the touch position (namely q1) of the long-press touch operation in the page1, and records the touch position as the starting position of the content to be selected. After the user performs the long-press touch operation, the user keeps pressing the finger at the position q1, meanwhile, the user can continue to perform a left-sliding operation in the page2 by other fingers, after the mobile phone detects the left-sliding operation in the second screen, the mobile phone performs a page turning operation, switches the page1 displayed in the first screen to the page3, and switches the page2 displayed in the second screen to the page 4. Thereafter, the user can perform a one-click touch operation at q2 of page4 with a finger. When the mobile phone detects the single-click touch operation of the user, the touch position (namely q2) of the single-click touch operation in the page4 is recorded, and the touch position is recorded as the end position of the content to be selected.
Wherein, can set up: the right sliding operation in the first screen is a page forward operation; the left-sliding operation in the second screen is a page backward operation as shown in fig. 3. When the right-sliding operation in the first screen is detected, the operation is marked as R, and a page is turned forward; and when the left-sliding operation in the second screen is detected, the page is backwards turned to L. Furthermore, pages turned forward may be denoted as Pprevious (Pp0, Pp1, Pp2,. and.. and Ppn), pages turned backward may be denoted as Pnext (Pn0, Pn1, Pn2,. and.. and Pnn), and the whole selected page range may be denoted as: (Pp0, Pp1, Pp2, p.a., Ppn, q 1; Pn0, Pn1, Pn2, p.a., Pnn, q 2).
It should be noted that "left" and "right" are described herein with respect to the user, and when the first screen and the second screen are disposed facing the user, the right direction of the user is the right direction of the first screen and the second screen, and the left direction of the user is the left direction of the first screen and the second screen.
Optionally, at step 103: after determining the content between the start position and the end position as the selected target content, the content selection method further includes:
receiving a fourth input to the target selection identifier; responding to the fourth input, adjusting the position of the first selection identifier when the target selection identifier is the first selection identifier, and updating the starting point position according to the position of the first selection identifier; and when the target selection identifier is the second selection identifier, adjusting the position of the second selection identifier, and updating the position of the end point position according to the position of the second selection identifier.
The target selection identifier is a first selection identifier or a second selection identifier. The first selection mark is displayed at the starting position and the second selection mark is displayed at the ending position. The first selection flag and the second selection flag are mainly used for fine adjustment of the starting point position and the end point position, and therefore: the first selection identity is limited to moving in the first page and the second selection identity is limited to moving in the second page, i.e.: the first selection identifier and the second selection identifier are both limited to moving in the respective pages.
In the embodiment of the application, after the target content is selected, the starting position and the ending position of the selected target content can be adjusted, so that the target content is finely adjusted. For example, if it is desired to set the partial content before q1 in page1 to the selected state, the first selection flag displayed at q1 may be moved forward to cause the partial content before q1 in page1 to be selected. If the selected state of the partial content after q1 in page1 is to be cancelled, the first selection flag displayed at q1 can be moved backward to make the partial content after q1 in page1 in an unselected state. Therefore, the fine adjustment requirement of a user can be met, and the user can correct the error through the first input and the second input, so that accurate selection is realized.
When the user has finished fine-tuning the target content, a copy or cut operation may be performed to paste the selected content to the target location (e.g., clipboard or text application, etc.) for making bookmarks, summaries, or reading notes, etc.
In summary, in the embodiment of the present application, when content selection is performed, a starting point position and an ending point position are determined by a first input to a first page in a first screen and a second input to a second page in a second screen, respectively, and then content between the starting point position and the ending point position is determined as target content to be selected. In the embodiment of the application, the cross-screen selection of the content is completed in a multi-point touch mode. The whole selection process is carried out without dragging operation, and the operation is simple. And the embodiment of the application can also perform cross-screen selection, thereby meeting the requirement of cross-screen selection of the user.
It should be noted that, in the content selection method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the execution main body may be a content selection device, or a control module in the content selection device for executing the content selection method.
