Description

Converter station of modular offshore flexible direct current transmission system
Technical Field

Background
With the increasing expansion of wind power generation capacity, wind power generation is more and more connected to a power grid, and the grid-connected operation of wind power becomes the most effective mode for utilizing wind energy on a large scale. Along with the requirements of longer transmission distance and larger transmission capacity, the direct current power transmission can well make up the defects of alternating current power transmission and better adapt to the development requirements of offshore wind power.
At present, the flexible direct current transmission converter station is mainly applied to land engineering, is not limited by space and area, is loose in arrangement, does not limit the weight of equipment and house structures, and does not need integral hoisting. However, the offshore platform has a tight space, severe environmental conditions (moisture and salt fog), and the offshore converter station needs to be integrally hoisted, so the equipment selection, arrangement and structural design of the land converter station are not suitable for the application of the offshore platform, and the offshore platform has a very high cost, so that the offshore platform has a strict size requirement on the layout. At present, no engineering example of an offshore platform for the offshore wind power flexible direct current access system exists in China, no research on design of the offshore platform for the offshore wind power flexible direct current access system exists, and a structural form which is wide in application range, reliable in performance and convenient and fast to construct is not found.
