Abstract
The invention relates to a semi-open type vortex pump impeller which comprises a rear cover plate, a hub, blades and a guide rail, wherein the guide rail is provided with a mounting groove. The blades are fixed through the mounting grooves on the guide rails. The impeller of the cyclone pump designed by the design method can replace different blades according to the particle condition, so that the aim of changing the height and the length of the blades is fulfilled. The impeller of the vortex pump designed according to the design method well ensures the trafficability of the vortex pump, improves the flow condition in the pump, and improves the lift and efficiency of the vortex pump.

A vortex pump is a device that is named because of the swirling motion of the fluid inside it. The liquid near the top of the impeller outlet forms a through flow due to the larger centrifugal force, and the liquid in the middle of the impeller forms a circulating flow due to the smaller centrifugal force. Because the whole water pressing chamber of the cyclone pump is filled with circulating flow and through flow, and the circulating flow does not work on the fluid in a certain sense, the efficiency of the cyclone pump is reduced.

In order to improve the lift and hydraulic efficiency of the vortex pump, the invention provides a vortex pump impeller with guide rails and fixed blades.
