Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a conventional screen assembly. The conventional screen assembly includes a Cover plate 10 and a flexible panel 20, at present, the Cover plate 10 adopted by the conventional screen assembly in the market is a conventional 3D CG (Cover Glass), that is, both sides of the Cover plate 10 are bent, in the manufacturing process of the flexible panel 20, the flexible panel 20 is generally bent 180 degrees according to a certain radius, as shown in fig. 1, so that the bent portion 21 of the flexible panel 20 is U-shaped.
However, with the continuous development of display technologies, more and more four-side curved screens appear on the market, the cover plate of the four-side curved screen is different from the conventional 3D cover plate glass, the upper, lower, left and right sides of the cover plate are curved, and the bending mode of the existing flexible panel cannot be applied to the cover plate of the four-side curved screen and needs to be improved.
Referring to fig. 2 and fig. 3, fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a screen assembly according to an embodiment of the present application, and fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a flexible panel according to an embodiment of the present application. The screen assembly 100 includes a cover plate 110 and a flexible panel 120 which are stacked, a peripheral edge of the cover plate 110 is bent toward the flexible panel 120, as shown by respective dotted line boxes in fig. 3, and the flexible panel 120 includes a first plane 121, a bent plane 122 disposed around the first plane 121, and a second plane 123 connected to the bent plane 122, specifically. The curved surface 122 includes a first curved surface 1221 and a second curved surface 1222, the first curved surface 1221 is curved and extended from the edge of the first plane 121 along the curved direction of the edge of the cover plate 110, and the second curved surface 1222 is curved and extended from the edge of the first curved surface 1221 toward the direction close to the first plane 121 with a predetermined radius.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic structural view of a cover plate 110 according to an embodiment of the present application, and as can be seen from fig. 4, upper, lower, left, and right edges of the cover plate 110 are curved. Specifically, the cover plate 110 may be a glass cover plate, and it is noted that it is desirable that the glass cover plate be as thin as possible, but if it is too thin, stress due to bending of the glass becomes large, and if it is too thick, an increase in weight or a reduction in visibility is caused, and therefore, the upper limit of the thickness of the glass cover plate is preferably 0.8mm, and the lower limit thereof is preferably 0.5 mm.
Specifically, the preset radius may be 0.35mm, wherein, referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic view of a bending angle of the flexible panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, as can be seen from fig. 5, an included angle between a tangent (L1) of a contact edge (D) between the first arc-shaped surface 1221 and the second arc-shaped surface 1222 and the second plane 123 is a right angle, specifically, since the bending angle of the second arc-shaped surface 1222 is far less than 180 degrees, a stress applied to the second arc-shaped surface 1222 is far less than a stress applied to a bending portion of the existing flexible panel, so that the service life of the flexible panel 120 can be improved.
Specifically, the substrate of the flexible panel 120 may be plastic, mylar or film, and since the electrodes or TFT material needs to be sputtered on the flexible panel 120, the flexible panel 120 is usually a high temperature polymer, and a high temperature Polyimide (PI) material is required.
In this embodiment, a layer of photosensitive paste 130 is attached to the surface of the second arc-shaped surface 1222 close to the cover plate 110 to protect the second arc-shaped surface 1222, and preferably, the attachment area of the photosensitive paste 130 may be larger than the area of the second arc-shaped surface 1222, that is, the photosensitive paste 130 may also be partially attached to the first arc-shaped surface 1221 and/or the second plane 123, and meanwhile, the thickness of the portion of the photosensitive paste 130 attached to the first arc-shaped surface 1221 and the second plane 123 may be reduced appropriately.
Specifically, in the curing process of photosensitive adhesive 130, the coating can be overflowed by the glue by oneself to the glue of edge, produce uncontrollable slope, photosensitive adhesive 130 that leads to the edge is thinner, when second arcwall 1222 is buckled, the position that easily buckles can tend to the atress, easily lead to second arcwall 1222 edge to cover the thinner position of photosensitive adhesive 130 and produce the dead fold, cause the circuit fracture, consequently, can suitably increase photosensitive adhesive area of photosensitive adhesive 130 and guarantee flexible panel 120's quality, and simultaneously, in order to practice thrift the cost, and minimize screen assembly 100's thickness, the thickness of the part of photosensitive adhesive 130 on attaching to first arcwall 1221 and second plane 123 can suitably reduce.
In this embodiment, the screen assembly 100 further includes a first supporting plate 140, and the first supporting plate 140 is disposed on a surface of the flexible panel 120 away from the cover plate 110 and is shaped to conform to the first plane 121 and the first arc-shaped surface 1221. Preferably, the second arc-shaped surface 1222 may be bent along an end of the first support plate 140.
In the present embodiment, the screen assembly 100 further includes a second support plate 150, and the second support plate 150 is disposed on a surface of the second plane 123 adjacent to the cover plate 110.
Specifically, the material of the first and second support plates 140 and 150 includes, but is not limited to, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene material (PE), and the thickness of the first and second support plates 140 and 150 ranges from 0.06mm to 0.2 mm.
Specifically, the first support plate 140 and the second support plate 150 may be attached to the flexible panel 120 by an adhesive (not shown), it should be understood that the adhesive refers to a material capable of bonding two objects, which may have a thermal curing property or a light curing property, and optionally, the first support plate 140 and the second support plate 150 may also be supported by a light curing polymer material, such as UV glue, so that the process step of coating the adhesive can be saved.
In this embodiment, a pad 160 is further interposed between the first and second support plates 140 and 150.
Specifically, the material of the backing plate 160 is mainly a Stiffener (Stiffener) material, such as a metal sheet, a plastic sheet, a resin film, an epoxy glass substrate, and the like, which is used to reinforce a part of the flexible panel 120 for supporting and fixing, and generally, the conventional thickness of the backing plate 160 is 0.1mm to 0.6 mm.
It is noted that there is a gap between the backing plate 160 and the second curved surface 1222, and since the second curved surface 1222 is relatively weak, there is a certain gap between the backing plate 160 and the second curved surface 1222, as shown in area a in fig. 2, so that the backing plate 160 and the second curved surface 1222 are not in contact at all, and damage to the second curved surface 1222 by the backing plate 160 can be avoided.
In the present embodiment, the heat sink 170 is disposed between the pad plate 160 and the first support plate 140.
Specifically, the heat sink 170 may be an SCF (super clean foam) heat sink material, and the SCF may implement buffering and light shielding functions, and most mainly may implement heat dissipation, and since the SCF is a composite material that integrates the light shielding, heat dissipation, buffering, electromagnetic shielding, and other functions, not only the bonding process of the factory process is reduced, but also the thickness of the screen assembly 100 is reduced, where the conventional thickness of the SCF is 0.2 mm.
In addition, a layer of adhesive material may be disposed on the contact surfaces of the heat sink 170, the first support plate 140, and the second support plate 150 and the pad 160, and the heat sink 170, the first support plate 140, and the second support plate 150 are attached to the pad 160 through the adhesive material to prevent the flexible panel 120 from shaking, so as to influence the display of the screen assembly 100, specifically, the adhesive material may be one of epoxy glue (AD glue), conductive glue, and mesh glue (EMBO glue), and may have a thickness of 0.035mm to 0.3mm, and may be specifically adjusted according to the adhesive requirement, and the conventionally selected AD glue may be 0.05 mm.
In the embodiment, the polarizer 180 is disposed between the cover plate 110 and the first plane 121 and the curved plane 122, and the polarizer 180 and the first plane 121 are adapted to the shape of the curved plane 122.
Specifically, since the flexible panel 120 is a self-luminous display mode, when an external light source is irradiated onto the metal electrode of the flexible panel 120 and reflected back, reflected light interference is caused on the surface of the cover plate 110, and the contrast ratio is reduced. Accordingly, the polarizer 180 is disposed to block the reflection of the external light to ensure that the display of the screen assembly 100 maintains a high contrast ratio. The thickness of the polarizer 180 may be 0.06mm to 0.18 mm.
In the present embodiment, the surface of the polarizer 180 close to the cover plate 110 is covered with an optical adhesive 190.
Specifically, the optical adhesive 190 is a special adhesive for adhering transparent optical elements (such as lenses) and has the characteristics of being colorless and transparent, having a light transmittance of 90% or more, having good adhesion strength, being curable at room temperature or at intermediate temperature, and having a small curing shrinkage, and therefore, is very suitable for being used as a bonding material for the polarizer 180 and the cover plate 110. Wherein, the thickness of the optical cement can be 0.1mm-0.175 mm.
The present application further provides a display device, which includes the screen assembly according to any of the above embodiments, which can be referred to above specifically, and is not described herein again.
In this embodiment, the display device may be applied to any product or component with a display function, such as a mobile phone, a display, a tablet computer, a television, a notebook computer, a digital photo frame, and a navigator.
According to the above embodiments:
the present application provides a screen assembly and a display device, the screen assembly 100 includes a cover 110 and a flexible panel 120, the cover 110 is stacked, the periphery of the cover 110 is bent towards the flexible panel 120, the flexible panel 120 includes a first plane 121, a bent plane 122 disposed around the first plane, and a second plane 123 connected to the bent plane, wherein the bent plane 122 includes a first arc-shaped plane 1221 and a second arc-shaped plane 1222, the first arc-shaped plane 1221 is bent and extended from the edge of the first plane 121 along the bending direction of the cover 110 edge, and the second arc-shaped plane 1222 is bent and extended from the edge of the first arc-shaped plane 1221 at a preset radius towards the direction close to the first plane 121, so that the flexible panel and the four-sided bent cover are adapted, and the technical problem that the existing panel cannot be applied to the four-sided bent screen is solved.
