Abstract

The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a self-adaptive adjusting method for traffic signal lamps at a crossroad, which monitors the traffic flow information of vehicles which go straight and turn left at the crossroad in real time through a traffic flow observer and inputs the information into a controller; the controller receives the traffic information of the vehicles going straight and turning left at each intersection in real time, and the controller applies an improved genetic algorithm by taking the vehicle retention information (estimated by the controller according to the previous light time and the traffic flow) and the traffic information of each direction as input conditions, and performs optimization when the vehicles staying at each intersection go straight and turn left by taking the minimum vehicle retention information of each direction as an optimization target; the controller sends the optimal lamp time division scheme to the traffic signal lamps respectively, so that the self-adaptive adjustment of the traffic signal lamps is realized, and the purpose of minimizing vehicles detained at each intersection is achieved. The method has simple structure and can effectively relieve traffic jam.

Description

Adaptive adjustment method for time of intersection lamp
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of traffic control and information, in particular to a method capable of automatically controlling the time of signal lamps according to traffic flow information.
Background
Generally, traffic signals at crossroads are fixed at the time of traffic lights, and periodically change according to preset cycle time of the traffic lights. In this case, the traffic light timing and the cycle period are always constant regardless of the change in the traffic flow in each direction. The way of controlling the lamp is easy to cause the phenomenon that one side is blocked, and the other side is empty, and the crossing traffic efficiency is reduced.
The key to solving these problems is to achieve flexibility in traffic light time allocation. For example, when the traffic flow in a certain direction is small, the green time is shortened. If there is no traffic flow, the red light time in the direction and the green light time in the opposite direction are prolonged, and the problem of overlarge traffic flow in one direction is solved while the phenomena of idle and the like are eliminated.
The invention applies an improved genetic algorithm, optimizes the traffic signal lamp in real time according to the change of traffic flow information in each direction and the vehicle retention information of the intersection in each direction, realizes the self-adaptive adjustment of the lamp, improves the traffic efficiency of the intersection and relieves the traffic jam.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a self-adaptive adjustment method for traffic signal lamps at intersections, which mainly realizes self-adaptive adjustment according to traffic flow and retained vehicle information when the traffic signal lamps at the intersections are used, so as to achieve the purpose of minimizing the retained vehicles at the intersections. It comprises the following steps (fig. 1).
Sep1, monitoring the traffic flow information of vehicles going straight and turning left at the crossroad in real time through a traffic flow observer, and inputting the information into a controller.
Sep2, the controller receives the traffic information of each straight going and left turning vehicle at the crossroad in real time, the retention information of the vehicles at each crossroad (the controller estimates the time and the traffic flow according to the last light) and the traffic information at each direction are used as input conditions, an improved genetic algorithm is applied, the minimum retention vehicle at each crossroad is used as an optimization target, the optimization is carried out when the vehicles at each direction go straight going and left turning light, and the optimization steps are as follows (figure 2): firstly, binary coding is carried out on four green light lamps of a crossroad in the south-north direction and the east-west direction and the straight direction and the left turning direction respectively, and a population is generated at random when the light lamps with the population scale of 80 are generated; secondly, calculating the fitness function of each individual in the population; finding out the individuals with highest fitness and the individuals with lowest fitness in the current group, replacing the worst individuals in the current group with the best individuals so far, wherein in the genetic operation of the current generation, the best individuals do not participate in selection, variation and cross operation, and directly enter the next generation, and other individuals enter the genetic operations of selection, variation, cross and the like to generate new individuals. Fourthly, through 200 generations of evolution, finding the optimal lamp time distribution scheme meeting the traffic flow information.
And Sep3, the controller respectively sends the optimal lamp time division scheme to the traffic signal lamp, so that the self-adaptive adjustment of the traffic signal lamp is realized, and the purpose of minimizing vehicles detained at each intersection is achieved.
