Abstract
The invention provides a detector for detecting the transverse straightness of a band saw blade and a detection method thereof. The band saw blade transverse straightness detector comprises a detection block, a measuring head and a measuring instrument, wherein the measuring instrument converts linear displacement of the measuring head into detection data, one side face of the detection block is a detection face for detecting the transverse straightness of the band saw blade, the measuring instrument is installed at one end, far away from the detection face, of the detection block, and the measuring head is installed on the measuring instrument and extends towards the detection face. Compared with the prior art, the transverse straightness detector for the band saw blade does not need to adopt plug gauges with various specifications or replace a proper plug gauge when measuring, can save a large amount of measuring time, improves the measuring efficiency and improves the measuring precision.

Technical Field

Background
In the production process of the band saw blade, the blade is bent or S-bent due to the combined action of the stress release and quenching deformation of the band body and the deflection of the saw blade in a quenching furnace. The prior patent publication No. CN109127779A discloses a detection device and a straightening machine for a band saw blade, which can improve the detection efficiency, but the detection device has a complex structure and high manufacturing cost.

Preferably, the detection block is provided with an installation groove for accommodating the measuring rod, and the installation groove is provided with a lock nut capable of adjusting the opening degree of the installation groove to fix the measuring instrument.
