Referring to fig. 2, fig. 3 and fig. 4, fig. 2 is a schematic structural view of a display screen protective film 40 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, fig. 3 is a first cross-sectional view of the display screen protective film 40 shown in fig. 2 along a P-P direction, and fig. 4 is an enlarged schematic view of a region a of the display screen protective film shown in fig. 3.
The display screen protective film 40 includes a first material layer 41 and a second material layer 42. The second material layer 42 is disposed on the first material layer 41. After the display screen protective film 40 is attached to the display screen 20, the first material layer 41 is connected to the display screen 20, and the second material layer 42 faces the user. Wherein the hardness of the second material layer 42 is greater than the hardness of the first material layer 41. Alternatively, it is understood that the first material layer 41 is a flexible material and the second material layer 42 is a hard material.
The first material layer 41 includes a first portion 411, a second portion 412, and a third portion 413. Wherein the first portion 411, the second portion 412, and the third portion 413 are connected in sequence. When the display screen protective film 40 is folded along with the display screen 20, the first portion 411 and the third portion 413 correspond to an unfolded region of the display screen 20 in a folded state, and the second portion 412 corresponds to a folded region of the display screen 20 in the folded state. Or it can be understood that the second portion 412 corresponds to the position of the hinge 30 in the electronic device 100.
The second material layer 42 covers the first portion 411 and the third portion 413 of the first material layer 41, and the second portion 412 of the first material layer 41 is not covered by the second material layer 42. Therefore, the second material layer 42 with higher hardness can protect most of the display screen 20, and the first material layer 41 with lower hardness can fold the display screen protective film 40, so as to prevent the display screen protective film 40 from affecting the folding function of the display screen 20.
Wherein the second material layer 42 includes a fourth portion 421 and a fifth portion 422. The fourth portion 421 is spaced from the fifth portion 422. The first end portion 4211 is opposite the second end portion 4212, and the first body portion 4213 is located between the first end portion 4211 and the second end portion 4212. Alternatively, the first end portion 4211, the first body portion 4213, and the second end portion 4212 may be three portions of the fourth portion 421, which are connected in sequence. The first end portion 4211, the first body portion 4213, and the second end portion 4212 are merely distinguished by relative positions, and there is no absolute boundary between the three portions.
Wherein the first end 4211 is connected with the second portion 412 of the first material layer 41 or understood as the first end 4211 is in contact with the second portion 412. The thickness of the first end portion 4211 is smaller than the thickness of the second end portion 4212, so as to smoothly transition between the surface of the second portion 412 of the first material layer 41 and the surface of the fourth portion 421 of the second material layer 42. For example, the thickness between the first end 4211 and the second end 4212 may gradually increase, e.g., a bevel may be formed between the first end 4211 and the second end 4212.
In some embodiments, the thickness between the first body portion 4213 to the first end portion 4211 is gradually reduced, and the thickness between the first body portion 4213 to the second end portion 4212 is the same. For example, a flat surface may be formed between the first body portion 4213 and the second end portion 4212, and a bevel, an arc, or a combination of a bevel and an arc may be formed between the first body portion 4213 and the first end portion 4211. And, the thickness of the inclined surface, the curved surface or the combination of the inclined surface and the curved surface formed between the first body portion 4213 and the first end portion 4211 is gradually reduced, so that the surface of the fourth portion 421 of the second material layer 42 and the surface of the second portion 412 of the first material layer 41 are smoothly transited.
The fifth portion 422 includes a third end 4221, a second end 4222, and a second body portion 4223. The third end 4221 is opposite to the fourth end 4222, and the second body portion 4223 is located between the third end 4221 and the fourth end 4222. Alternatively, the third end 4221, the second body 4223, and the fourth end 4222 may be three portions connected in series to the fifth portion 422. Similarly, the third end portion 4221, the second body portion 4223, and the fourth end portion 4222 are merely distinguished by relative positions, and there is no absolute boundary between the three portions.
Wherein the third end 4221 is connected with the second portion 412 of the first material layer 41 or is understood to be that the third end 4221 is in contact with the second portion 412. The third end 4221 has a thickness less than the fourth end 4222 to provide a smooth transition between the surface of the second portion 412 of the first material layer 41 and the surface of the fifth portion 422 of the second material layer 42. For example, the thickness between the third end 4221 and the fourth end 4222 may gradually increase, for example, a slope may be formed between the third end 4221 and the fourth end 4222.
In some embodiments, the thickness between the second body portion 4223 to the third end portion 4221 is gradually reduced, and the thickness between the second body portion 4223 to the fourth end portion 4222 is the same. For example, a plane may be formed between the second body portion 4223 and the fourth end portion 4222, and a slant surface, an arc surface, or a combination of slant and arc surfaces may be formed between the second body portion 4223 and the third end portion 4221. And, the thickness of the inclined surface, the arc surface or the combination of the inclined surface and the arc surface formed between the second body portion 4223 and the third end portion 4221 is gradually reduced to make a smooth transition between the surface of the fifth portion 422 of the second material layer 42 and the surface of the second portion 412 of the first material layer 41.
In some embodiments, an adhesive layer is disposed between the first material layer 41 and the second material layer 42, and the first material layer 41 and the second material layer 42 are adhered by the adhesive layer to form the final display screen protective film 40.
In some embodiments, the display screen protective film 40 may be formed by injection molding using a two-shot injection mold. The bijection injection mold comprises two feed inlets, the material of the first material layer 41 is injected through one feed inlet, the material of the second material layer 42 is injected through the other feed inlet, and the display screen protective film 40 can be manufactured in an integrated forming mode.
In some embodiments, the material of the first material layer 41 includes at least one of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), polyurethane (PU), polyimide (PI), and silicone. Wherein, PET, TPU, PU, PI and silica gel are all flexible materials. It is understood that in other embodiments, the material of the first material layer 41 may also include other materials besides the above listed materials.
The material of the second material layer 42 includes at least one of Polycarbonate (PC), acrylic, and tempered glass. Wherein, PC, acrylic and toughened glass are all hard materials.
