The zein composite medical dressing is a film mainly composed of zein (2-98% by mass), polyacrylic acid (2-98% by mass) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (0-96% by mass). The water absorption capacity is 2-80 times of the dry weight of the film, and the stretching ratio is 1-5 times of the original film length. The preparation method comprises the following steps: respectively dissolving zein and polyacrylic acid in a mixed solution of ethanol and water, wherein the volume percentage concentration of the ethanol is 55-95%, mixing the zein and the water, and standing and drying at a constant temperature of 20-50 ℃ or freeze-drying; then adding a mixed solution of ethanol and water of polyvinylpyrrolidone, wherein the volume percentage concentration of the ethanol is 55-95%; standing and drying at a constant temperature of 20-50 ℃ or freeze drying to form a film, thus obtaining the corn protein composite medical dressing. The zein composite medical dressing can be used for wound hemostasis and tissue repair.

Description

Corn protein composite medical dressing and preparation method and application thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of medical wound dressings, and particularly relates to a corn protein composite medical dressing as well as a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
After the body is injured to form a wound, professional treatment is needed, and infection, non-healing and scar formation can be caused by improper treatment. The ideal wound dressing not only can stop bleeding, but also can effectively promote the repair and regeneration of damaged tissues.
The existing wound dressings are various in types and have advantages and disadvantages. The traditional dressing (such as gauze made of natural or synthetic fiber) has low price, can quickly absorb blood and wound exudate, and has simple processing process. But the permeability is too high, so that the wound surface is easy to dehydrate; and because microorganisms cannot be isolated, cross infection is easy to cause; in addition, the wound dressing is easy to adhere to the wound surface and is difficult to remove. The novel dressing (such as carrageenan, alginate, chitosan, collagen and composite materials thereof) comprises a film shape, a foam shape, hydrogel, colloid and the like, has excellent blood and exudate absorption capacity, can prevent cross infection caused by microorganism invasion, but has poor flexibility which is the biggest defect of the dressings.
