The valve core of the stop valve according to the embodiment of the invention is changed: when the valve core 10 needs to be replaced, firstly, the rotating handle 11 is rotated, the valve rod 2 is lifted, the stop valve is in an open state, the adjusting handle 12 is rotated, the first bevel gear 9 is driven to rotate through the transmission rod 3, the valve rod 2 cannot rotate due to the positioning of the flat key 4, the second bevel gear 7 and the rotary disc 6 are fixedly matched together due to the meshing of the first bevel gear 9 and the second bevel gear 7, the first bevel gear 9 drives the rotary disc 6 to rotate around the rotating shaft 8 through the second bevel gear 7, the original valve core 10 is rotated away from a working position right opposite to the lower part of the valve rod 2, a new valve core 10 is rotated to the working position to stop, and the conversion of the stop valve core 10 is completed. The rotation angle of the adjustment handle 12 is related to the number of the valve cartridges 10. Taking 4 valve cores as an example, when the valve cores need to be switched, the adjusting handle 12 is rotated by 90 degrees.
