Description

Method for operating a domestic dishwasher, domestic dishwasher and system
Technical Field
The invention relates to a method for operating a domestic dishwasher, and a system having a domestic dishwasher and an external device outside the domestic dishwasher.
Background
Many domestic dishwashers employ a spray arm for spraying the rinsing material with a rinsing liquid, in particular consisting of water and a cleaning agent, and for removing dirt from the rinsing material. Such spray arms are typically driven by the water pressure of a circulation pump. At least one drive nozzle is arranged at the spray arm, which drive nozzle drives the spray arm using the recoil principle. Thus, the possibility of positioning the spray arm is limited. A further possibility for driving the spray arm is to drive the spray arm directly by means of a drive comprising an electric motor. The washing program or washing program is generally stored as a fixed sequence in the software of the control device of the domestic dishwasher. However, the process can be changed during operation by signals of different sensors.
It is also known to use so-called reinforced rinsing zones in order to intensively rinse rinsing goods in specific regions of a rinsing container of a domestic dishwasher. Thus, for example, document DE10162505a1 describes the possibility of manually selecting an intensified rinsing zone at the device or via an optical sensor arranged in the rinsing container. Furthermore, document US2009/0071508a1 discloses the use of a movable spray arm for forming such a reinforced rinsing zone, which spray arm is controlled via an optical sensor signal. Furthermore, document DE10156157a1 shows a method for identifying washware by means of a camera.
Disclosure of Invention
Against this background, it is an object of the present invention to further improve the operation of a domestic dishwasher.
A method for operating a domestic dishwasher having a control device for executing one of a plurality of rinsing programs for rinsing items arranged in a rinsing chamber is therefore proposed. The domestic dishwasher has at least one spray device for spraying the washware with rinsing liquid and a drive device for driving the at least one spray device. The method comprises the following steps a) to c):
a) detecting an optical sensor signal of the rinsing chamber by means of an optical sensor of an external device outside the domestic dishwasher;
b) determining at least one intensive rinsing zone for intensive rinsing of the rinsing material arranged in the rinsing chamber as a function of the detected optical sensor signal; and
c) the drive device is controlled such that the determined at least one intensified rinsing zone is formed by means of the at least one injection device.
The external device is in particular a mobile device. The mobile device is for example a smartphone, a tablet device or a tablet computer.
In particular, a domestic dishwasher comprises a communication unit which transmits, for example by means of a network, an optical sensor signal to a mobile device or an application (App) which is installed on the mobile device of a user. The network here includes, in particular, a mobile radio network, a WLAN (wireless local area network) and/or another wireless or wired data network.
The control device can be implemented in hardware and/or also in software. In the case of a hardware embodiment, the control device can be configured, for example, as a computer or a microprocessor. In the case of a software implementation, the control device can be constructed as a computer program product, a function, a routine, a part of a program code or as an executable object.
The control device is designed to execute one of a plurality of rinsing programs for rinsing the rinsing product. The rinsing program comprises, for example, different sub-program steps, i.e. for example, pre-rinsing, cleaning, washing and/or drying. For example, different washing programs differ with respect to the type and/or sequence of the sub-program steps and with respect to different parameters, such as the duration of one or more sub-program steps and/or the washing liquid temperature.
For rinsing with a domestic dishwasher, the washware is arranged in the rinsing chamber, in particular on one or more washware receptacles. The rinsing object comprises in particular different dishes, cutlery and/or tools for cooking, storing and/or eating. Such as plates, pots, cups, knives, glasses and more. The flushing article therefore comprises in particular objects comprising different materials, for example ceramic, glass, wood, metal and/or plastic.
The optical sensor is in particular designed as an optoelectronic sensor, which provides an analog electrical signal as an optical sensor signal as a function of the optical signal. This offers the advantage that the optical sensor can be produced on a microchip in an integrated manner and thus in a space-and material-saving manner and inexpensively. Furthermore, the analog electrical signal can be converted into a digital signal with little effort, for example by means of an a/D (analog-to-digital) converter, and subsequently processed digitally.
The external device with the optical sensor is held or provided by a user, in particular, in such a way that the optical sensor can detect an optical sensor signal of the rinsing chamber and of the rinsing substance arranged in particular in the rinsing chamber. This is for example satisfied when there is a line of sight from the rinsing chamber to the optical sensor. It can furthermore be provided to use a plurality of optical sensors, wherein each optical sensor detects an optical sensor signal of the region associated with the optical sensor.
The optical sensor is designed in particular for detecting the optical sensor signal over a wide spectral range, which is not limited in particular to the visible spectral range.
Optical sensors include, for example, cameras, in particular digital cameras, which have, for example, a CCD sensor (CCD, "charge-coupled device"). The camera detects images and/or image sequences of the rinsing chamber and of the rinsing goods arranged therein in particular, for example.
Advantageously, an optical sensor signal, for example an image, can be detected by the sensor, wherein one or more intensive wash zones can be determined from the detected image. Advantageously, for detecting the optical sensor signal, not a sensor integrated in the household dishwasher is used, but an optical sensor of an external device (e.g. a camera of a mobile device of a user, such as a camera of a smartphone). On the one hand, this is cheaper, since most users usually carry a smartphone with a camera themselves and can advantageously forego integrating a high-cost optical sensor in a domestic dishwasher. Furthermore, the user himself can control the taking of the image and also can take different photographs or sequences of photographs, which can be used as a basis for determining the at least one intensive wash zone.
The following examples are able to illustrate the functioning of the method. The user or customer takes a picture of the loaded contents of the washing stock by means of his smartphone. An application installed on the smartphone recognizes the loading and can decide at which location of the rinse container the enhanced rinse zone is necessary or helpful. For example, when a pot, pan or casserole is identified, the enhanced rinsing zone is preferably determined in the identified region. The one or more intensified rinsing zones are characterized in particular by the fact that the spray pressure at the spray nozzle is increased for this region and/or the spray device is left in a position for a longer time in order to deliver rinsing liquid for the rinsing material in the region of the intensified rinsing zone. Furthermore, the spray device can also be swiveled over a defined region which reinforces the rinsing zone.
The above-described application program of the customer's mobile device can also define a specific area in the rinsing container as an intensive rinsing zone which is used by the customer himself as a preferred location for the strongly contaminated rinsing substance, for example a pot. The settings can be stored in the application, in particular until the point in time when the client changes such settings again. Alternatively, such settings can be re-queried via the application program each time the program flow of the domestic dishwasher is started.
It is also possible to: the domestic dishwasher is provided with functions, for example automatic functions, in which the customer requires prior to the program start: a photograph of the washload container in its domestic dishwasher is taken.
Preferably, such an automatic function can affect all spray planes of the domestic dishwasher, even if only one spray device, for example a spray arm, has a direct drive.
In particular, all spray arms of a domestic dishwasher are directly adjusted by means of a direct drive.
Preferably, the flushing course of the selected flushing program can already be influenced by determining at least one intensified flushing zone before the program is started. By means of the determined at least one intensified rinsing zone, the rinsing process determined by means of the optical sensor signal is optimized as a function of the loading of the rinsing container. The intensive flushing zone can also be designed to be variable or automatic, for example by the application program or the appliance control of the domestic dishwasher or by the user depending on his user input on the application program. It is thus possible to define individual regions in the rinsing container as reinforced rinsing zones depending on the loading.
According to one embodiment, the camera is used as an optical sensor, wherein the optical sensor signal comprises an image of the rinsing chamber.
The image of the rinsing chamber then forms the basis for determining at least one intensified rinsing zone.
According to another embodiment, the method comprises the steps of:
capturing an image of the rinsing chamber by a camera of the external device;
deriving, from the captured images, a drive parameter for determining at least one enhanced irrigation zone based on at least one user input by a user at the external device;
transmitting the derived driving and controlling parameters from the external device to the household dishwasher; and is
The drive device is controlled by means of the transmitted control parameters in order to form at least one defined intensified rinsing zone in the rinsing chamber by means of the at least one injection device.
In this embodiment, the at least one intensified wash zone is derived by the user by means of his user input to an external device, for example a mobile device. An application on the mobile device can advantageously support the user in selecting and determining the enhanced flush zone via the graphical display.
According to another embodiment, the method comprises the steps of:
capturing an image of the rinsing chamber by a camera of the external device;
deriving, from the captured images, by means of an application running on the external device, actuation parameters for determining at least one intensive irrigation zone;
transmitting the derived driving and controlling parameters from the external device to the household dishwasher; and is
The drive device is controlled by means of the transmitted control parameters in order to form at least one defined intensified rinsing zone in the rinsing chamber by means of the at least one injection device.
In this embodiment, the at least one intensified irrigation zone is automatically derived by application on an external device. Advantageously, in this embodiment, no active interaction by the user or customer is required in deriving the one or more enhanced rinsing zones.
According to another embodiment, the method comprises the steps of:
storing a driving parameter for driving and controlling the driving device in a storage device of the external device;
capturing an image of the rinsing chamber by a camera of the external device;
matching the stored actuation parameters to an application of the external device by means of an application running on the external device and/or based on at least one user input of the user, depending on the captured image;
transmitting the matched driving and controlling parameters from the external device to the household dish washing machine; and is
The drive device is controlled by means of the transmitted control parameters.
In this embodiment, the actuation parameters are preferably stored on the external device exclusively for the different flushing programs and are adapted as necessary depending on the currently captured image. Thus, the drive and control parameters and thus the operation of the domestic dishwasher can be optimized.
According to another embodiment, the method comprises: during the detection of the optical sensor signal by means of the optical sensor of the external device, the rinsing chamber is illuminated.
Here, an illumination device of an external device can be used. Alternatively or additionally, an illumination device for illuminating the washing chamber can also be provided in the domestic dishwasher. The illumination device can be designed in particular as a narrow-band light source, for example as a laser. Alternatively, the lighting device can be designed as a broadband light source, such as an incandescent lamp and/or a flash unit.
According to another embodiment, the method comprises: an optical sensor signal of the rinsing substance arranged in the rinsing chamber is detected by means of an optical sensor.
According to another embodiment, the optical sensor signal comprises a photograph of the rinsing chamber, wherein the image analysis is performed on the detected photograph in the rinsing chamber.
According to another embodiment, an infrared sensor is used as the optical sensor.
According to a further embodiment, the spray device comprises at least one spray arm, wherein the drive device comprises a circulation pump for delivering the rinsing liquid to the at least one spray arm and/or an electric drive for actively driving the at least one spray arm. The electric drive has, for example, an electric motor with a position identifier.
According to another embodiment, the external device is a mobile equipment of the user, wherein step b) is performed by an application (App) running on the mobile equipment of the user.
According to another embodiment, the at least one enhanced flushing zone is selected by the application program based on at least one user input on the mobile device.
According to a further embodiment, an incorrect arrangement of the items of washware in the washware receptacle of the rinsing chamber of the domestic dishwasher is derived by means of the application program as a function of the detected optical sensor signal.
In this embodiment, the error arrangement is derived from the detected optical sensor signal. The error arrangement can be indicated to the user or customer by means of an application. Such a wrong arrangement exists, for example, when a wash object, such as a pan, blocks the spray arm from rotating. For example, after identifying wrongly placed dishes, for example wrongly placed pots around, the customer is immediately informed by means of the application program in order to correct the mistake. In addition, the startup procedure can be disabled until the response error is cleared for the customer.
According to another embodiment, the derived error arrangement is output to the user by means of an output device of the mobile device and an application (App). The output means comprise, inter alia, a display and/or a loudspeaker.
Furthermore, a computer program product is proposed, which causes the method as set forth above to be executed on a program-controlled device.
The computer program product, for example a computer program medium, may be provided or delivered, for example, as a storage medium, for example a memory card, USB, CD-ROM, DVD or also in the form of a file downloadable from a server in a network. This may be done, for example, by transmitting a corresponding file with a computer program product or a computer program medium in a wireless communication network.
According to another aspect, a domestic dishwasher is proposed, having: a control device for executing one of a plurality of rinsing programs for rinsing the rinsing substance arranged in the rinsing chamber; at least one spraying device for spraying the washing material with the washing liquid; and a driving device for driving the at least one jetting device. The dishwasher includes: a receiving unit for receiving an optical sensor signal of the rinsing chamber from an external device, which optical sensor signal is detected by means of an optical sensor of an external device outside the domestic dishwasher; a determination unit for determining at least one intensive rinsing zone for intensive rinsing of the rinsing material arranged in the rinsing chamber as a function of the detected optical sensor signals; and a control unit for controlling the drive device such that the determined at least one intensified wash zone is formed by means of the at least one injection device.
The embodiments and features described for the proposed method are correspondingly applicable to the proposed domestic dishwasher.
Other possible embodiments of the invention also include combinations of features or embodiments not explicitly mentioned before and below in relation to the examples. The individual aspects are also considered by those skilled in the art herein as modifications or additions to the corresponding basic forms of the invention.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a domestic dishwasher 1. Fig. 2 shows a schematic side view of the exemplary embodiment of the domestic dishwasher 1 according to fig. 1.
The domestic dishwasher 1 comprises a rinsing container 2, which can be closed, in particular watertight, by a door 3. For this purpose, a sealing device (not shown) can be provided between the door 3 and the rinsing container 2. The rinsing container 2 is preferably square. The rinsing container 2 can be arranged in a housing of the domestic dishwasher 1. The rinsing container 2 and the door 3 can form a rinsing chamber 4 for rinsing the rinsing goods 15.
The door 3 is shown in its open position in fig. 1. The door 3 can be opened or closed by pivoting about a pivot axis 5 arranged at the lower end of the door 3. The delivery opening 6 of the rinsing container 2 can be closed or opened by means of the door 3. The rinsing container 2 has a bottom 7, a top 8 opposite the bottom 7, a rear wall 9 opposite the closed door 3, and two side walls 10, 11 opposite each other. The bottom 7, top 8, rear wall 9 and side walls 10, 11 can be made of stainless steel, for example. Alternatively, the bottom 7 can be made of a plastic material, for example.
The domestic dishwasher 1 also has at least one washload receptacle 12, 13, 14. Preferably, a plurality of, for example three, rinse receptacles 12, 13, 14 can be provided, wherein the rinse receptacle 12 can be a lower rinse receptacle or bottom basket, the rinse receptacle 13 can be an upper rinse receptacle or top basket, and the rinse receptacle 14 can be a cutlery drawer. As shown in fig. 1, the flushing contents 12, 13, 14 are arranged one above the other in the flushing container 2. Each flushing contents receptacle 12, 13, 14 can be selectively moved into and out of the flushing container 2. In particular, each flushing- material receptacle 12, 13, 14 can be pushed into the flushing container 2 in a push-in direction E and can be pulled out of the flushing container 2 in a pull-out direction a counter to the push-in direction E.
Furthermore, the domestic dishwasher 1 has a control device 100 arranged at the door 3. The control device 100 is designed to carry out one of a plurality of rinsing programs for rinsing the rinsing substance 15 arranged in the rinsing chamber 4 (see fig. 2).
For this purpose, fig. 2 shows for reasons of clarity only the flushing-substance holder 12 in the flushing chamber 4, on which the flushing substance 15, for example a plate, is arranged. To this end, it is to be emphasized: the rinsing chamber 4 can have, for example, one rinsing product holder, two rinsing product holders or three rinsing product holders.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a household dishwasher 1 has: at least one spray device 140, which in the example of fig. 2 is a spray arm, to spray the flushing liquid 15 with the flushing liquid; and a driving device 160 for driving at least one injection device 140. The drive 160 can comprise, for example, an electric motor with a position identifier.
As shown in particular in fig. 1, the domestic dishwasher 1 comprises a receiving unit 110, a determination unit 120 and a control unit 130. In the example of fig. 1, the determination unit 120 and the actuation unit 130 are integrated in the control device 100.
The receiving unit 110 is designed to receive an optical sensor signal of the rinsing chamber 4 from an external device 200, which optical sensor signal is detected by means of an optical sensor 210 (see fig. 2) of the external device 200 (see fig. 2) outside the domestic dishwasher 1. The external apparatus 200 is for example a mobile device of a user, i.e. for example a smartphone with an integrated camera. Thus, in this example, the integrated camera of the smartphone constitutes the optical sensor 210. The optical sensor 210 of the mobile device 200 is designed, for example, to capture images of the flushing object 15 arranged in the flushing chamber 4 in a wide spectral range from a few micrometers up to hundreds of nanometers.
The determination unit 120 is designed to determine at least one intensive rinsing zone for intensive rinsing of the rinsing material 15 arranged in the rinsing chamber 4 as a function of the detected optical sensor signal. For this purpose, fig. 3 shows a schematic plan view of the flushing-product holder 12 from fig. 2. Here, fig. 3 shows: the flushing-product receptacle 12 is divided, for example, into four quadrants I-IV. For example, the determination unit 120 determines from the detected optical sensor signal: quadrant II should constitute the enhanced flush zone.
The control unit 130 is then designed to control the drive 160 (see fig. 2) in such a way that at least one defined intensified rinsing zone, which in the present example is quadrant II in the rinse content receptacle 12 of fig. 3, is formed by means of at least one spray device 140.
In fig. 2, the door 3 is shown in the open position, the door 3 forming with the rinsing container 2 a rinsing chamber 4, at which the control device 100 and the receiving unit 110 are arranged. The illumination device 150 is arranged at the top 8 of the rinsing container 2.
The illumination device 156 is designed to illuminate the washing chamber 4 during the detection of the optical sensor signal by the optical sensor 210 of the mobile device 200. The detection of the image of the washing chamber 4 can thereby be improved.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic block diagram of a method for operating a domestic dishwasher 1, for example the domestic dishwasher 1 of fig. 1 or 2. The domestic dishwasher 1 comprises a control device 100, at least one spray device 140 (for example a spray arm) for spraying rinsing liquid onto the washload 15, and a drive device 160 for driving the at least one spray device 140. The drive device 160 comprises, for example, a circulation pump for delivering rinsing liquid to the at least one spray arm 140 and/or an electric drive for actively driving the at least one spray arm 140.
The method of fig. 4 includes steps S1, S2, and S3:
in step S1, an optical sensor signal (e.g. an image of the rinsing chamber 4) of the rinsing chamber 4 is detected by means of an optical sensor 210 (e.g. a camera) of an external device 2 (e.g. a mobile device of a user) outside the domestic dishwasher 1. During this detection, the rinsing chamber 4 can preferably be illuminated by means of the illumination device 150. During the detection, in particular also the rinsing material arranged in the rinsing chamber 4 is detected.
In step S2, at least one intensive rinsing zone (e.g. quadrant II of the rinse content holder in fig. 3) is determined for intensive rinsing of the rinse 15 arranged in the rinsing chamber 4 as a function of the detected optical sensor signal. If the external device 200 is, for example, a mobile device, i.e. for example a smartphone, the determination step can be made by an application running on the smartphone 200. At least one enhanced flushing zone (e.g., quadrant II in fig. 3) is selected, for example, by an application program, based on at least one user input on the mobile device 200. For example, a user can select an enhanced wash zone on their smartphone on an image displayed by an application.
In step S3, drive device 160 is controlled such that at least one defined intensified flushing region is formed by means of at least one injection device 140.
For example, an incorrect arrangement of the flushing contents in the flushing-contents receptacle 12 of the flushing chamber 4 can also be derived from the detected optical sensor signals by means of an application program. The resulting error arrangement can be output to the user for the user by means of the output means and the application of the mobile device 200.
Although the present invention has been described in terms of embodiments, various modifications can be made to the invention.
