Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of electronic devices, and in particular, to a USB device.
Background
With the rapid development of electronic products, there are increasing electronic devices that can be directly connected to a computer. Such electronic devices are connected to the computer in a fast manner, so that a Universal Serial Bus (USB) technology is developed to transmit signals between the electronic devices and the computer. The USB interface includes a slot and a connector that can be connected to each other, and the slot and the connector are respectively disposed on the computer and various corresponding electronic devices (e.g., a USB disk, a wireless signal receiver, a wireless network card, etc.), and the slot and the connector are connected to each other to achieve the purpose of transmitting signals.
The existing electronic equipment is convenient for assembling a PCB, the shell is designed into an upper shell and a lower shell, and the upper shell and the lower shell are buckled in the direction vertical to the PCB.
In some cases, it is desirable to maintain the integrity of the body portion of the housing and existing designs are not satisfactory.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention mainly solves the technical problem of providing the USB equipment, and the structural form of the shell is changed, so that the shell main body of the USB equipment is kept complete.
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts a technical scheme that: provided is a USB device including:
the front shell is provided with a containing cavity which is communicated with the outside through a first opening arranged on the end face of the first end part and is also communicated with the outside through a second opening arranged on the side face of the second end part;
the PCB circuit board is inserted into the accommodating cavity from the first opening, and the surface of one part of the PCB circuit board is exposed through the second opening;
the protective shell is sleeved on the second end part and forms a USB joint structure with the exposed part of the PCB and the second end part; and
and the rear shell is covered on the first opening and is fixedly connected with the front shell.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the PCB circuit board is inserted into the front shell through the first opening, and the rear shell covers the first opening and is fixed on the front shell. The front shell is used as a main body part, and the integrity of the shell body of the USB device is guaranteed due to the adoption of the integral structure.

The USB device is an electronic device which is used for being connected with a computer through a USB interface and exchanging signals, and can be a USB flash disk, a wireless signal receiver, a wireless network card and the like.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, an embodiment of a USB device includes: a front case 2, a PCB circuit board 3, a protective case 1 and a rear case 4.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the front case 2 is provided with a first end portion 201 and a second end portion 202 which are opposite to each other, and the front case 2 is provided with a housing cavity which communicates with the outside through a first opening 203 opened in an end surface of the first end portion 201 and also communicates with the outside through a second opening 204 opened in a side surface of the second end portion 202.
As shown in fig. 6 and 8, the PCB circuit board 3 is inserted into the cavity of the front case 2 from the first opening 203, and a surface of a portion of the PCB circuit board 3 is exposed through the second opening 204. The PCB circuit board 3 includes a front surface and a back surface, the front surface is provided with a contact terminal 301, and a surface on which the contact terminal 301 is located is exposed through the second opening 204. The PCB 3 is further provided with an electronic component 302, the electronic component 302 is electrically coupled to the computer through the contact terminal 301, and the electronic component 302 includes but is not limited to an antenna IC, a wireless network card receiving IC, a card reading IC, a wireless signal receiving related IC, and other electronic components.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the protective casing 1 is a hollow body and has openings formed at opposite ends thereof, and may be formed by bending a sheet. The protective shell 1 is sleeved on the second end 202, and forms a USB connector structure with the exposed portion (the contact terminal 301 and the substrate for fixing the contact terminal 301) of the PCB circuit board 3 and the second end 202.
As shown in fig. 7, the rear case 4 covers the first opening 203 and is fixedly connected to the front case 2.
As shown in fig. 7, the rear case 4 is used not only to cover the first opening 203, but also to limit the PCB circuit board 3 in the longitudinal direction, so as to prevent the PCB circuit board 3 from being displaced when the USB device is plugged into a computer. At present, the PCB 3 is subject to its manufacturing process, and the dimensional deviation is large, and when the dimension of the PCB 3 in the longitudinal direction is deviated, it may affect the assembly of the rear case 4 or cause a gap to be generated at the junction of the rear case 4 and the front case 2. Therefore, a gap may be reserved between the rear case 4 and the PCB circuit board 3. Ensure that the assembly of the product is not influenced when each part is in the limit size. Of course, the gap must not be too large, which may result in poor contact of the contact terminal 301 during operation. The gap may be 0.1 to 0.15 mm.
Because there is the clearance between backshell 4 and the PCB circuit board 3, in the use product process, PCB circuit board 3 can collide with preceding shell 2 or backshell 4, the sound that makes. To avoid this, an elastic member 5 may be interposed between the rear case 4 and the PCB circuit board 3. The elastic member 5 is compressed in the longitudinal direction to abut against the PCB 3 to prevent it from shaking. In this embodiment, the elastic member 5 is fixed to the rear case 4 and then the cases 4 are assembled together. In other embodiments, the elastic member 5 may be fixed to the PCB 3, or the elastic member 5 may be provided as a separate part. The elastic member 5 may be EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer) foam. When the EVA foam is used, the interference fit amount (the longitudinal compression length of the EVA foam) between the EVA foam and the PCB 3 can be controlled to be 0.3-0.5 mmm (the specific value is influenced by the hardness of the EVA foam).
For convenient disassembly and assembly, the rear shell 4 and the front shell 2 can be connected in a buckling manner. In the prior art, the two shells may be detachably connected by interference fit and are kept relatively fixed by friction. However, in the present application, the USB device generates an acting force on the PCB 3 during the plugging process, and then the acting force is transmitted to the rear case 4, so that a strong holding force is required between the rear case 4 and the front case 2. The snap connection may provide a stronger retention force than an interference fit. Of course, a stronger holding force may also be provided by a screw connection, but a snap connection may give a better look and feel.
Further, the fastening direction of the rear case 4 and the front case 2 is parallel to the PCB circuit board 3, i.e., in the longitudinal direction. Since a gap is provided between the rear case 4 and the PCB 3 in the longitudinal direction, the gap can also provide a space for the fastening action.
As shown in fig. 4, 5 and 6, in order to facilitate insertion of the PCB circuit board 3 during assembly, the inner wall of the front case 2 is provided with a guide groove 205, at least a portion of the edge of the PCB circuit board 3 is clamped in the guide groove 205, and a gap is left between the PCB circuit board 3 and the side wall of the guide groove 205, so that the PCB circuit board 3 can reciprocate along the extending direction of the guide groove 205 relative to the guide groove 205. The unilateral clearance between the PCB circuit board 3 and the side wall of the guide groove 205 can not be too small to avoid affecting the assembly, and can be 0.1-0.2 mm. The guide grooves 205 may be provided in two, laterally (see fig. 7), respectively at both sides of the front case 2 to ensure the PCB circuit board 3 to be balanced in stress when the PCB circuit board 3 is assembled.
As shown in fig. 7, in order to laterally restrain the PCB circuit board 3, the contour of the receiving cavity at the second end 202 matches the contour of the PCB circuit board 3 at the corresponding second end 202.
As shown in fig. 6, in order to vertically limit the PCB circuit board 3, the front case 2 is provided with a first limit plane 206 and a second limit plane 207, the first limit plane 206 is located at the second end 202 and attached to the back (reverse side) of the exposed portion of the PCB circuit board 3, the second limit plane 207 is located between the first end 201 and the second end 202 and located at the other side of the PCB circuit board 3 with respect to the first limit plane 206, and the second limit plane 207 is parallel to the PCB circuit board 3 and provided with a gap. The clearance is usually 0.05 to 0.1 mm.
As shown in fig. 6, in order to vertically limit the PCB 3, a third limiting plane 401 is convexly disposed on one side of the rear case 4 facing the PCB 3, and the third limiting plane 401 is parallel to the PCB 3 and has a gap, which is usually 0.05-0.1 mm.
Further, the third limiting plane 401 is located on the back side of the exposed portion of the PCB circuit board 3, i.e., on the reverse side of the PCB circuit board 3. The exposed part of the PCB 3 is prevented from upwarping to influence the insertion.
The assembly process of the USB device of this embodiment includes the following steps:
a protective case 1, a front case 2, a PCB circuit board 3, a rear case 4, and an elastic member 5 are provided.
The elastic member 5 is fixed to the rear case 4 by means of adhesion.
The PCB 3 is inserted into the cavity of the front case 2 from the first opening 203, the edge of the PCB 3 is clamped in the guide groove 205, and the PCB 3 is inserted into the position under the guidance of the guide groove 205.
The rear case 4 is snapped onto the front case 2.
The protective shell 1 is sleeved on the second end portion 202.
According to the USB device provided by the embodiment, the front shell 2 and the rear shell 4 are longitudinally assembled, the PCB circuit board 3 is accommodated in the front shell 2, the front shell 2 serves as a main body part, the whole structure is adopted, and the integrity of a shell body of the USB device is guaranteed. The structure also reduces the requirements on the size of the product, particularly the thickness of the product.
In addition, a gap is arranged between the PCB 3 and the rear shell 4, and the elastic piece 5 is clamped at the gap, so that the size of the PCB 3 can be contained, and the PCB 3 can be prevented from shaking longitudinally.

Claims (10)

1. A USB device, comprising:
the front shell is provided with a containing cavity which is communicated with the outside through a first opening arranged on the end face of the first end part and is also communicated with the outside through a second opening arranged on the side face of the second end part;
the PCB circuit board is inserted into the accommodating cavity from the first opening, and the surface of one part of the PCB circuit board is exposed through the second opening;
the protective shell is sleeved on the second end part and forms a USB joint structure with the exposed part of the PCB and the second end part; and
and the rear shell is covered on the first opening and is fixedly connected with the front shell.
2. The USB device of claim 1, wherein a gap is provided between the rear housing and the PCB circuit board.
3. The USB device of claim 1, wherein an elastic member is interposed between the rear case and the PCB.
4. The USB device of claim 1, wherein the rear shell is snap-fit to the front shell.
5. The USB device of claim 4, wherein the fastening direction of the rear shell and the front shell is parallel to the PCB circuit board.
6. The USB device according to claim 1, wherein a guide groove is formed in an inner wall of the front case, at least a portion of an edge of the PCB is clamped in the guide groove, and a gap is formed between the PCB and a side wall of the guide groove.
7. The USB device of claim 1, wherein a profile of the receiving cavity at the second end matches a profile of the PCB circuit board at the corresponding second end.
8. The USB device of claim 1, wherein the front housing defines a first stop plane and a second stop plane, the first stop plane being located at the second end and abutting a back surface of the exposed portion of the PCB, the second stop plane being located between the first end and the second end and being located on an opposite side of the PCB relative to the first stop plane, the second stop plane being parallel to the PCB and defining a gap.
9. The USB device of claim 1, wherein the rear housing has a third limiting plane protruding toward the PCB, and the third limiting plane is parallel to the PCB and has a gap.
10. The USB device of claim 9, wherein the third limiting plane is located on a side of a back surface of the exposed portion of the PCB circuit board.
