Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of another alternative placement method of virtual props according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6, the user may select a new virtual item by moving target virtual item 604 in displayed list 602 to quick identification area 606 of the target category, and holding for more than a second predetermined length of time, after the time exceeds a second preset time, detecting the area of the overlapped area of the target virtual prop and the shortcut identification area of the target category, comparing the area with a preset area value, in the case where it is larger than the predetermined area, the display area 610 of the above-described object category is scroll-displayed in the first display area 608, for example, the predetermined area is set to 10, the area of the target virtual item is set to 30, the shortcut identification area of the target category is set to 40, in the case where the area of overlap between the target virtual item and the shortcut recognition area of the target category is greater than 10, a display area 610 of the above-described target category is scroll-displayed in the first display area 608.
Through the embodiment, the situation that the display area of the target category corresponding to the quick identification area of the target category is triggered and displayed excessively frequently due to misoperation of a user can be avoided, and the effect of optimizing user experience is achieved.

Through the embodiment, the situation that the display area of the target category corresponding to the quick identification area of the target category is triggered and displayed excessively frequently due to misoperation of a user can be avoided, and the effect of optimizing user experience is achieved.
In an optional embodiment, before the target virtual item is moved into contact with the shortcut identification area of the target category of the multiple categories of shortcut identification areas displayed in the target game application, the method further comprises: and displaying a shortcut identification area of a target category in the shortcut identification areas of the multiple categories in a predetermined area in the target game application, wherein the predetermined area is positioned between the display area of the target category and the display area of the target virtual article.

In an optional embodiment, the acquiring the first interactive operation performed on the target virtual article includes: acquiring long-time pressing operation performed on a target virtual article, wherein the first interactive operation comprises long-time pressing operation; the target interaction operation comprises the following steps: the long press operation is released.
According to another aspect of the embodiment of the present invention, there is also provided an electronic device for implementing the method for placing a virtual item, where the electronic device may be a terminal device or a server shown in fig. 1. The present embodiment takes the electronic device as an example for explanation. As shown in fig. 11, the electronic device comprises a memory 1102 and a processor 1104, wherein the memory 1102 stores a computer program and the processor 1104 is arranged to execute the steps of any of the above method embodiments by means of the computer program.
Optionally, in this embodiment, the electronic device may be located in at least one network device of a plurality of network devices of a computer network.
Optionally, in this embodiment, the processor may be configured to execute the following steps by a computer program:
s1, displaying a first display area of a virtual warehouse in a virtual warehouse interface in the target game application, wherein the virtual warehouse comprises a plurality of categories of display areas;
s2, setting the target virtual article to be in a state of allowing movement under the condition that the first interactive operation executed on the target virtual article is acquired;
s3, when the target virtual item is moved into contact with the shortcut identification area of the target category among the shortcut identification areas of the plurality of categories displayed in the target game application and the target interactive operation performed on the target virtual item is acquired, the target virtual item is placed in the display area of the target category.
Alternatively, it can be understood by those skilled in the art that the structure shown in fig. 11 is only an illustration, and the electronic device may also be a terminal device such as a smart phone (e.g., an Android phone, an iOS phone, etc.), a tablet computer, a palmtop computer, a Mobile Internet Device (MID), a PAD, and the like. Fig. 11 is a diagram illustrating a structure of the electronic device. The memory 1102 may be configured to store software programs and modules, such as program instructions/modules corresponding to the method and apparatus for placing virtual items in the embodiments of the present invention, and the processor 1104 executes various functional applications and data processing by running the software programs and modules stored in the memory 1102, that is, implements the method for placing virtual items. The memory 1102 may include high-speed random access memory, and may also include non-volatile memory, such as one or more magnetic storage devices, flash memory, or other non-volatile solid-state memory. In some examples, the memory 1102 can further include memory located remotely from the processor 1104 and such remote memory can be coupled to the terminal via a network. Examples of such networks include, but are not limited to, the internet, intranets, local area networks, mobile communication networks, and combinations thereof. Memory 1102 may be, but not limited to, specifically configured to store information such as a model of the virtual item and a display area of the target type. As an example, as shown in fig. 11, the module 1002, the setting module 1004, and the placing module 1006 may be displayed in the memory 1102, but not limited to, an extracting unit 1102 of a placing device including the virtual prop. In addition, the device may further include, but is not limited to, other module units in the above-mentioned virtual item placement device, which is not described in detail in this example.
Optionally, the transmitting device 1106 is used for receiving or transmitting data via a network. Examples of the network may include a wired network and a wireless network. In one example, the transmission device 1106 includes a Network adapter (NIC) that can be connected to a router via a Network cable to communicate with the internet or a local area Network. In one example, the transmission device 1106 is a Radio Frequency (RF) module, which is used for communicating with the internet in a wireless manner.
In addition, the electronic device further includes: display 1108 to display virtual items in the target game application; and a connection bus 1110 for connecting the respective module components in the above-described electronic apparatus.
In other embodiments, the terminal device or the server may be a node in a distributed system, where the distributed system may be a blockchain system, and the blockchain system may be a distributed system formed by connecting a plurality of nodes through a network communication. Nodes can form a Peer-To-Peer (P2P, Peer To Peer) network, and any type of computing device, such as a server, a terminal, and other electronic devices, can become a node in the blockchain system by joining the Peer-To-Peer network.
According to a further aspect of an embodiment of the invention, there is provided a computer program product or a computer program comprising computer instructions stored in a computer readable storage medium. The processor of the computer device reads the computer instructions from the computer-readable storage medium, and executes the computer instructions, so that the computer device executes the method provided in the various optional implementation manners of the placement process of the virtual item in the target game application.
Alternatively, in the present embodiment, the above-mentioned computer-readable storage medium may be configured to store a computer program for executing the steps of:
s1, displaying a first display area of a virtual warehouse in a virtual warehouse interface in the target game application, wherein the virtual warehouse comprises a plurality of categories of display areas;
s2, setting the target virtual article to be in a state of allowing movement under the condition that the first interactive operation executed on the target virtual article is acquired;
s3, when the target virtual item is moved into contact with the shortcut identification area of the target category among the shortcut identification areas of the plurality of categories displayed in the target game application and the target interactive operation performed on the target virtual item is acquired, the target virtual item is placed in the display area of the target category.

1. A method for placing a virtual prop is characterized by comprising the following steps:
displaying a first display area of a virtual warehouse in a virtual warehouse interface in a target game application, wherein the virtual warehouse comprises a plurality of categories of display areas;
under the condition that first interactive operation performed on a target virtual article is acquired, setting the target virtual article to be in a state of allowing movement;
and under the condition that the target virtual article is moved to be in contact with a shortcut identification area of a target category in the shortcut identification areas of the multiple categories displayed in the target game application and a target interactive operation performed on the target virtual article is acquired, placing the target virtual article in the display area of the target category.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
and under the condition that the first interactive operation performed on the target virtual article is acquired, displaying shortcut identification areas of the multiple categories in the target game application.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein in a case where the target virtual item is moved into contact with a shortcut identification area of a target category among the shortcut identification areas of the plurality of categories displayed in the target game application and a target interactive operation performed on the target virtual item is acquired, placing the target virtual item into the display area of the target category comprises:
responding to the first interactive operation, and under the condition that the target virtual article is moved to be in contact with the shortcut identification area of the target category and the contact between the target virtual article and the shortcut identification area of the target category does not exceed a first preset time length, acquiring the target interactive operation;
and under the condition that the target interactive operation is acquired within the first preset time, responding to the target interactive operation, and placing the target virtual article into the display area of the target category.
4. The method according to claim 1, wherein in a case where the target virtual item is moved into contact with a shortcut identification area of a target category among the shortcut identification areas of the plurality of categories displayed in the target game application and a target interactive operation performed on the target virtual item is acquired, placing the target virtual item into the display area of the target category comprises:
in response to the first interactive operation, when the target virtual item is moved to be in contact with the shortcut identification area of the target category and the target virtual item is kept in contact with the shortcut identification area of the target category for more than a first preset time period, scrolling the virtual warehouse interface from the first display area to the display area of the target category;
after the first preset time, under the condition that the target virtual article is moved to be in contact with the display area of the target category, acquiring the target interaction operation;
in response to the target interaction operation, placing the target virtual item into a display area of the target category.

The method according to claim 1, wherein in a case where the target virtual item is moved into contact with a shortcut identification area of a target category among the shortcut identification areas of the plurality of categories displayed in the target game application and a target interactive operation performed on the target virtual item is acquired, placing the target virtual item into the display area of the target category comprises:

after the third preset time, under the condition that the target virtual article is moved to be in contact with the display area of the target category, acquiring the target interaction operation;
in response to the target interaction operation, placing the target virtual item into a display area of the target category.
7. The method of any of claims 1-6, wherein before the target virtual item is moved into contact with a shortcut identification area of a target category of the multiple categories of shortcut identification areas displayed in the target gaming application, the method further comprises:
displaying a shortcut identification area of a target category in the shortcut identification areas of the multiple categories in a predetermined area in the target game application, wherein the predetermined area is located between the display area of the target category and the display area of the target virtual item.
