The present invention relates to a garment having a modular construction.

Background

WO 2008/014879 a1 and US 2010/0297913 a1 disclose a brassiere (brassiere) with a removable cup that is detachably fastened to the lower part of the brassiere by means of hook and loop fasteners. The lower portion of the bra includes a lower band positionable around the upper torso and which is openable by fasteners on the rear side opposite the cups. On both sides of the fastener, one end of a strap is attached, the other end of which can hook into a loop associated with and attached to a cup of the lower portion of the bra.

Furthermore, US 2012/0135667 a1 discloses a brassiere (brassiere) with a removable cup which is detachably fastened to the under-bust band of the brassiere by means of hook-and-loop fasteners, wherein a fastening area with a hook-and-loop band is formed on the cup, on which hook-and-loop band the fabric of the under-bust band is placed, so that the under-bust band extends over the fastening area of the cup.

In germany, bra sizes are standardized according to EN 13402. The size of a conventional brassiere is composed of two elements, a number in [ cm ] representing the circumference of the underbust (underbust width), and a letter representing the size of the cup. The various dimensions relating to the circumference of the underbust each differ by 5cm, starting with 60cm for very small upper bodies. According to current sizing systems, the under-bust band (if any) is securely stitched together in a particular size with two cups of a particular size.

To date, bra sizes have been obtained from established size tables. However, these watches are typically from the bustier industry. However, body suits or corselets are much tighter than most brassieres and are made of strong materials, while brassieres are made using elastane, polyester, cotton, or microfiber. The fit of the brassiere depends on different factors such as the tightness of the breast tissue, cup size, width and height of the top of the breast, distance between the breasts, breast shape, breast depth, breast width, breast volume, underbust circumference (underbust width), etc. For this reason, a moderately tight under-bust band is very important for the fit of the brassiere. (Massarbeett dessous und Badebekleidung, Bella Hendriks, 2013). However, brassieres or bikini tops corresponding to current standardized size systems cannot fit all sizes. For example, in industry, no brassiere has been produced, in particular with very small underbust bands and particularly large cups or very large underbust bands and small cups. This leads to an inadequacy of the respective brassiere or bikini top, which is both uncomfortable for the brassiere or bikini wearer and carries health risks, such as skin irritation, shoulder and back pain or shoulder deformation.

Disclosure of Invention

The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a garment of the initially described type which, after selection of the respective module, can be individually adjusted according to the wearer thereof, in particular according to the size, preference or requirements of said wearer, by means of the respective components of the selected module.

Another problem solved by the invention is to manufacture garments from a modular system with different modules without special skills.

Another problem solved by the present invention is to provide a reliably fitting brassiere or a reliably fitting bikini top as one piece of clothing which is optimally adjusted to the respective stature, in particular the breast shape, of the brassiere or bikini wearer.

This problem is solved by the features of the independent claims.

The dependent claims develop the inventive concept in an advantageous manner.

A garment of modular construction comprising at least one wrapping tape as a first module having non-destructive fastening means on one side and a detachable arrangement of at least one garment module as at least one further module.

The wrapping band is adjusted in its length according to the body part to be wrapped around to which the garment should be secured (i.e. should be fastened). The wrapping band and the garment module may be attached to each other in a non-destructive, separable manner by buttons, zippers, separable pressure sensitive adhesives, and the like, preferably by snap and/or hook and loop fasteners. For example, a garment module designed as a shirt can be securely fastened to the underside of the wearer's body by means of wrapping tape and can be prevented from slipping. In addition to shirts, skirts or trousers can be simultaneously fastened securely to the wrapping tape. For this purpose, the wrapping band is preferably designed as a hip belt or waist belt, i.e. its length is designed or adjustable or cuttable to a certain length or the like, so that it can be placed and fastened around various body parts of the person to be dressed. If the garment module is, for example, a brassiere (brassiere) or a cup of a bikini top, the wrapping band is preferably designed as a underbust band. The cups can then be arranged on the lower chest band in an interchangeable manner. In addition, an apron may be interchangeably attached to the under-bust band beneath the cups to provide a temponian top or the like.

Preferably, the length of the wrap strip designed as a underbust band is infinitely adjustable and/or the wrap strip is at least partially made of an elastic material. For example, the hook and loop and/or fabric hook and loop tape of the hook and loop fastener used may of course also be designed to be elastic or made of an elastic material. The wrapping band, which is designed as a hip or waist band, has a substantially predetermined length, the ends of which are sewn. A garment of modular construction designed as a brassiere or bikini top has at least two modules detachably interconnected by connecting elements in a non-destructive manner, wherein the under-bust band forms a first module and the two cups are connected to each other independently or jointly to form a second module. The two cups as a whole or each cup itself and the underbust band are detachably connected to each other in a non-destructive manner.

Advantageously, different cup sizes can be combined with lower chest straps of different lengths, widths and/or strengths and detachably interconnected to the lower chest straps and the cups in a non-destructive manner by corresponding fastening means (also referred to as connecting elements). Thus, the fit of the brassiere or bikini top according to the invention can be adjusted individually according to the respective stature of the wearer and a brassiere or bikini top with an optimal fit and an optimal wearing comfort is formed.

The cups may be present independently of each other, i.e. separate from each other, or integrally (i.e. connected to each other), so as to be detachably connected to the under-bust band in a non-destructive manner. The connecting element is particularly located at the lower end of the cup. Optionally, the cups may be connected to each other by a connecting member.

Advantageously, each cup has, on the upper side, retaining means for removably fastening one end of an interchangeable strap, wherein each end of said strap is removably connected to a cup, or one end is removably connected to a cup and the other end is removably connected to retaining means of the underbust band. Thus, the straps may be wrapped around the neck of the wearer, or where two straps are arranged, they extend over the shoulders. The straps advantageously increase stability and wearing comfort.

In another embodiment, the invention provides a kit with a plurality of wrap strips and a plurality of garment modules, wherein the ends of the wrap strips designed as underbust strips are detachably connected or firmly interconnected and the wrap strips have fastening means for an undamaged and detachable arrangement of at least one garment module at least on one side thereof.

In another or alternative design, the kit includes at least two underbust strips and a set of at least two cups, wherein one underbust strip and two cups (either independent of each other or connected to each other) are detachably connected in a non-destructive manner in variable dimensional combinations, respectively, by connecting elements.

At least two under-bust bands are present in different lengths and/or widths and/or thicknesses. The cups may vary in size and/or fit.

From the kit according to the invention, it is possible to select underbust strips of different length, width and/or thickness or strength, and each underbust strip can be detachably connected by means of a connecting element in a loss-free manner to cups of different size and/or fit.

The underbust band and the cups naturally have corresponding fastening means so that they can be connected to each other.

In addition, the cups have fastening means at their lower ends and can be arranged at any variable lateral distance if they can be fastened individually to the underbust band. Thus, any distance between the cups may be selected. Thus, the distance of the cups can be individually adjusted according to the size of the bra or bikini wearer, particularly the distance of the breasts.

Advantageously, the length of the wrapping band, in particular the under-bust band, is infinitely adjustable, in particular if for example the fastener is designed as a hook and loop fastener.

The under-bust band is important for the stability of the bra or bikini top according to the invention. The length of the under-bust band can be adjusted individually and can therefore be selected according to the under-bust circumference length.

Industrially, underbust widths and cups are not produced in all size combinations. For example, brassieres having a particularly small underbust band (e.g., 65cm) and particularly large cups (e.g., G) and having a particularly large underbust band (e.g., 100cm) and particularly small cups (e.g., a) have not been manufactured. According to sizing systems known in the art, the individual sizes associated with the circumference of the underbust (i.e., the length of the individual underbust bands) are each spaced 5cm apart (70, 75, 80, 85, 90, etc.). This sizing system, especially the size available in the industry, does not accommodate all body sizes and often results in under-bust bands that are too loose or too tight. Thus, the stability of the brassiere is greatly affected. Adverse wearing comfort can lead to health problems for the wearer of the bra, such as back pain.

The infinite adjustability of the length of the underbust band creates a best fit brassiere or bikini top that avoids the disadvantages known in the prior art.

Preferably, the under-bust band has any width and/or thickness. The width of the under-bust band can be 0.5cm to 10 cm.

The thickness of the under-bust band can be 0.05cm to 1 cm. Advantageously, the thickness of the under-bust band is between 0.1cm and 0.75 cm.

Advantageously, the stability of the brassiere or bikini according to the invention is a result of the under-bust band.

The wrapping tape may be elastic or inelastic. Thus, the fit of the wrap around strap, and in particular the under-bust strap, is comfortable for the wearer. Therefore, the pressure pain can be prevented.

The size and/or fit of the cups is preferably variable. For example, the cups may be AA, a, B, C, D, E (DD), F, G, H, I, J, K in size.

Different cup sizes may naturally be combined with different widths and/or strengths of the underbust band. The provided brassiere or bikini top can thus be adjusted to all sizes and has an optimal stability.

The attachment of the cups may be selected from the group consisting of full cup brassieres, half cup brassieres, bra brassieres, in-line brassieres, T-shirt brassieres, and push-up brassieres. Preferably, the cup is cup-shaped or triangular. Advantageously, the underside of the cup may have a steel ring. The steel ring, preferably a wire, produces a circular shape and an optimal support effect. This is particularly advantageous for women with large breasts. The wires provide stability and reduce back burden.

Advantageously, the cup may have an opening on the side, wherein the opening is designed to accommodate inserts made of different materials. For example, an insert made of foam or silicon may be inserted into the opening. This results in a visually enlarging effect, which is particularly advantageous for women with small breasts or after medical surgery, e.g. after mastectomy.

Advantageously, the strip has a variable fit. The straps may be of different widths and/or thicknesses and may be connected as neck straps or to the under-chest band. The straps may also be fastened to the back in a crossed manner.

The under-bust band and/or straps and/or cups may preferably have padding. The material of the pad may be selected from the group consisting of foam or silicon. Preferably, the strap has padding in the shoulder region and/or the nape region. Advantageously, pressure sores and/or shoulder deformations are prevented by the padding.

The under-bust band may be removably attached to the garment at least partially covering the abdominal region in a non-destructive manner. Optionally, a garment at least partially covering the abdominal region can be detachably connected to the (pants) or the bikini lower garment in a non-destructive manner by means of the fastening elements. In this way, the top, swimsuit or jumpsuit can advantageously be made of a brassiere or a bikini top. Similarly, a skirt may also be fastened to a brassiere or bikini top in accordance with the present invention.

Preferably, the inner side or the outer side of the garment at least partially covering the abdominal region may have a further fabric layer, wherein the further fabric layer is connected to the garment at least partially covering the abdominal region by means of the connecting element. The additional fabric layer may be designed with or without decoration. Advantageously, small items such as money or jewellery may be hidden behind the further fabric layer.

Advantageously, the fastening means may be attached in an opposite manner on the front or rear side of the under-bust band and the cups, respectively. To this end, the under-bust band has at least one fastening means, wherein the fastening means is attached to the front or rear side of the under-bust band, and the cups (each individually or in their entirety) have at least one corresponding fastening means, wherein the corresponding fastening means is attached to the front or rear side of the cup in an opposite manner to the fastening means of the under-bust band.

The fastening means may be selected from the group consisting of at least one hook and loop fastener, a snap, a loop or a hook. Preferably, at least one hook and loop fastener or snap forms the fastening means.

Preferably, the hook and loop fastener or the hook and loop tape of the hook and loop fastener and/or the fabric hook and loop tape can be designed as an elastic tape. This is particularly advantageous if the under-bust band is elastic. Thus, the hook-and-loop fastener can be attached to the under-bust band in a gapless manner and results in high flexibility, pleasant wearing comfort and simple handling.

Furthermore, the brassiere or bikini top according to the invention may have decorative elements. For example, a sequin, pearl, ring or chain may be attached to a bra or bikini top according to the present invention.

Detailed Description

The garment 13 has a modular construction and comprises as a first module a wrapping band 14, wherein the wrapping band 14 designed as a bust band 3 preferably comprises detachably interconnected ends, for which purpose hooks 15 and eyes 16 or loops to be hooked to each other, or a hook-and-loop band 17 of a hook-and-loop fastener and a fabric hook-and-loop band 18 are provided at the ends thereof. The wrapping band 14 may have an infinitely adjustable length and/or be at least partially made of an elastic material 19. The wrapping band 14 is designed as a underbust band 3, a waist band 20 or a hip band 21, depending on the arrangement on the strip 9, i.e. the person wearing the garment. The wrapping band 14, which is designed as a waist band 20 or hip band 21, preferably has interconnected, in particular sewn-in ends and a fixed circumference. Which is naturally equipped, at least at one end, with at least one fastening means 2 for the non-destructive and removable arrangement of at least one garment module 22 and which can be made, at least in part, of an elastic material 19. For a detachable and in particular non-destructive arrangement of the garment modules 22, the wrapping tape 14 has a part of a hook-and-loop fastener, i.e. the fabric hook-and-loop tape 18 or the hook-and-loop tape 17, or a part of a clasp 23 as fastening means 2, which interacts with a corresponding counterpart on the respective garment module 22.

Fig. 1 schematically shows a brassiere 1 with two cup-shaped cups 4 as a clothing module 22 and a wrap band 14 designed as a underbust band 3. The cups 4 are connected to each other by means of a connecting member 10. The connecting member 10 may be made of, for example, fabric. The connecting member 10 may also have a two-part design, so that the cups 4 can be separated and can be connected by means of the fastening means 2 (not shown in detail) associated with the connecting member 10. The entire cup 4 and the underbust band 3 are connected to each other by the fastening means 2 in a non-destructive and detachable manner. The under-bust band 3 can be designed to be elastic. The fastening means 2 is attached to the front side of the under-bust band 3. The respective fastening means 2 are attached to the rear side of the whole cup 4, opposite to the fastening means 2 attached to the front side of the under-bust band 3. The fastening means 2 are designed such that the fastening means 2 on the under-bust band 3 can be connected nondestructively and detachably to the corresponding fastening means 2 on the cups 4.

The fastening device 2 serves as a hook and loop fastener and is designed as a hook and loop strip 17 and a fabric hook and loop strip 18. Alternatively, the respective fastening means 2 may be attached to the rear side of the under-bust band 3 and to the front side of the entire cup 4. The hook and loop fasteners on the under-bust band 3 may be designed to be elastic. In another embodiment, the fastening device 2 can be designed as a snap 23, a

15, 24 or an eyelet 16 or a loop. Any size combination of the underbust band 3 and the breast cups 4 can be combined with each other and connected to each other by the fastening means 2 without loss and detachably. The cups 4 may be attached to the under-bust band 3 at any variable lateral distance 5. Depending on the circumference of the under bust of the brassiere wearer, the length of the under bust band 3 can be adjusted individually in an unlimited manner, in particular if the fastening means 2 are designed as hook-and-loop fasteners. The under-bust band 3 can be designed with any width (according to the double arrow 7) and/or with any thickness 8. The stability or fit of the brassiere according to the present invention is achieved by means of the under-bust band 3. The correct length, width and thickness of the under-bust band 3 results in optimum wearing comfort. The size of the cups 4 is designed to be variable depending on the circumference of the breasts of the wearer of the brassiere and may be combined with the under-bust band 3 at a variable lateral distance 5. Thanks to the retaining means 25, which are currently designed as hooks 24, the strap 9 can be detachably fastened to the cups 4 and the under-bust band 3 in a non-destructive manner by means of the loops at its ends. The strap 9 preferably has length adjustment means 11 so that the strap 9 can be adjusted to any length depending on the size and dimensions of the wearer of the brassiere. In an alternative embodiment, the strap 9 may be closed by a strap fastener 12. The strip 9 thus designed extends from cup 4 to cup and forms a neck-encircling brassiere. Alternatively, the straps 9 extend from each cup 4 to the hook 24 attached to the under-bust band 3 and then over the shoulders of the bra wearer.

Fig. 2 schematically shows a brassiere 1 according to the invention, comprising two triangular cups 4 as garment modules 22, and a lower bust band 3. The cups 4 and the under-bust band 3 are detachably connected to each other in a non-destructive manner by means of the fastening means 2. Advantageously, the under-bust band 3 is designed to be elastic. The respective fastening means 2 are attached in an opposing manner to the front side of the under-bust band 3 and to the rear side of the breast cups 4 and are designed as hook-and-loop fasteners. Any size combination of the underbust band 3 and the breast cups 4 may be combined with each other and may be interconnected by the respective fastening means 2. The cups 4 can be connected to the under-bust band 3 at any variable lateral distance (according to the double arrow 5), i.e. at any distance from each other. Thus, the distance between the cups 4 can be adjusted according to the distance between the breasts of the wearer of the brassiere. The length of the under-bust band 3 (according to the double arrow 6) can be adjusted individually. The under-bust band 3 is selected with any width and/or thickness. The size of the cups 4 may be variably selected and may be combined with the under-bust band 3 depending on the size of the breasts of the bra wearer. Thanks to the retaining means 25, the straps 9 can be detachably fastened to the cups 4 and the under-bust band 3 in a non-destructive manner. Advantageously, the strip 9 has length adjustment means 11.

Fig. 3 shows a partial view of a wearer wearing a garment 13 designed as a bikini top 1, which corresponds in structure to the above-described brassiere 1 and does not require further description. In addition, shorts 26, such as a bikini underdress, are shown, which may be designed as conventional shorts 26 or as modular, and which, in addition to the actual fabric of the shorts 26 representing the garment module 22, include: a wrapping band 14 designed as a hip belt 21 to which the fabric of the pants 26 is detachably fastened by means of the associated fastening means 2. A piece of fabric 27 of the type used as an apron extends between the lower chest band 3 and the hip band 21, which can be attached or removed as required and is indicated by dashed lines.

According to fig. 4, a decorative fabric as a further garment module 22 is associated with the brassiere 1, so as to provide a strapless top as a whole, and the garment module 22, which is designed as a lower garment with shorts 26, is arranged on the lower chest band 3, wherein the lower garment is detachably fastened to the lower chest band 3 by means of the fastening means 2. The bottom garment does not slide out of position relative to the top garment and provides a uniform appearance of the garment 13.

According to fig. 5, the garment 13 essentially comprises a garment module 22 formed by a piece of fabric 27, wherein the piece of fabric 27 detachably fastened to the under-bust band 3 extends over the breasts and around the neck of the wearer. In addition, a lower garment including shorts 26 is detachably fastened to the under-bust band 3, which extends over and covers the abdomen and waist.

According to fig. 6, the garment 13 designed as a bikini top 1 has the structure already described above. In addition, the wearer wears trousers 26, which may be designed to be modular and which, in addition to the actual fabric of the trousers 26 constituting the garment module 22, also comprises a wrapping band 14 designed as a hip band 21, to which the fabric of the trousers 26 is fastened by means of the relative fastening means 2.

In the description according to fig. 7, the cotta 28 is arranged on the strap 9 of the bikini top 1.

In contrast to fig. 6, fig. 8 shows a skirt 29 instead of trousers 26, wherein the fabric of the skirt 29 can naturally also be fastened detachably to the waist belt 20 by means of the fastening means 2. Between the waist band 20 and the under-bust band 3, a piece of fabric 27 may be provided, which is detachably held by the fastening means 3, which completes the garment 13.

According to fig. 9, a shirt 30 and trousers 26 as a clothing module 22 are detachably fastened to the hip belt 21 by means of the fastening device 2.

Claims

1. A garment with modular structure comprising, as a first module, at least one wrapping band (14) having fastening means (2) on one side for the non-destructive and removable arrangement of at least one garment module (22) as at least another module.

2. The garment as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the wrapping band (14) is designed as a hip band (21), a waist band (20) or a underbust band (3) and the fastening device (2) is designed as a hook-and-loop band (17) or a clasp (23), wherein the garment module (22) has a fabric hook-and-loop band (18) or clasp (23) as fastening device on the basis of the fastening device (2) of the wrapping band (14).

3. The garment according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that trousers (26), a skirt (29) or apron or similar garment under-wear and cups (4) of a brassiere or bikini top (1), or a shirt (30), or a T-shirt or similar garment top are removably arranged on said wrapping band (14).

4. A garment as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least the cups (4) as a whole or each cup (4) itself and the underbust band (3) are removably connected to each other in a non-destructive manner by said fastening means (2).

Garment according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that each cup (4) has, on the upper side, retaining means (25) for removably fastening one end of a strap (9), wherein each end of said strap (9) is removably connected to said cup (4), or to said cup (4) at one end and to the retaining means (25) of the underbust band (3) at the other end.

6. Garment according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the length of the wrapping band (14) designed as a bust band (3) is infinitely adjustable and/or the wrapping band (14) is at least partially made of an elastic material (19).

7. Kit comprising a plurality of wrapping bands (14) and a plurality of clothing modules (22), wherein the ends of the wrapping bands (14) designed as underbust strips (3) are detachably connected to each other and the wrapping bands (14) have, at least on one side thereof, an undamaged and detachably arranged fastening device (2) for at least one clothing module (22).

8. Kit comprising at least one under-bust band (3) and at least two cups (4), wherein one of said under-bust bands (3) and two of said cups (4) are detachably interconnected in a non-destructive manner in a variable dimensional grouping by fastening means (2), wherein said cups (4) are independent of each other or interconnected.

9. Garment or kit according to any of the previous claims, characterized in that a cup (4) can be connected to the under-bust band (3) at any variable lateral distance (5).

10. Garment or kit according to any of the previous claims, characterized in that the inside or outside of the garment module (22) at least partially covering the abdominal area has a further fabric layer, wherein the further fabric layer is connected to the garment module (22) at least partially covering the abdominal area by means of connecting elements.

11. Garment or kit according to any of the previous claims, characterized in that the fastening element (2) is selected from the group consisting of at least one hook-and-loop fastener, a clasp (23), a loop or hook (15) and/or an eyelet and/or a zipper.
