The tub 14 is formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape capable of accommodating laundry, and is rotatably provided inside the tub 13. The rotary tub 14 functions as a washing tub in a washing process for washing the laundry and a rinsing process for rinsing the laundry. The rotary tub 14 also functions as a dehydration tub in a dehydration process for dehydrating the laundry. The rotary tub 14 is provided with a pulsator 141 at the bottom thereof. The pulsator 141 can be rotated integrally with the tub 14 or oppositely to the tub 14.
The driving device 15 includes a motor and a clutch mechanism, not shown. The motor is connected to the pulsator 141, and rotates the pulsator 141 in forward and reverse directions. The clutch mechanism transmits the driving force of the motor to the rotary tub 14. The clutch mechanism switches transmission of the driving force of the motor, and has a function of rotating only the pulsator 141 or rotating the pulsator 141 integrally with the rotary tub 14.
The water filling device 16 is a device for filling water supplied from an external water source such as tap water into the tub 13. The water filling device 16 is provided inside the outer cabinet 11, for example, at an upper portion of the tub 13 near one of the left and right sides. The water injection device 16 includes a water supply valve 161, a water injection pipe 162, and a water injection cartridge 163. The water supply valve 161 is, for example, an electromagnetic drive type on-off valve, and is connected to an external water source such as tap water not shown. The water filling pipe 162 connects the water filling cartridge 163 with the inside of the tub 13. The water supply valve 161 opens and closes a water filling path from an external water source to the inside of the tub 13 through the water filling cartridge 163 and the water filling pipe 162.
The drain device 17 is a device for draining the water stored inside the tub 13 to the outside of the washing machine 10. The drain device 17 includes a drain valve 171 and a drain pipe 172. The drain valve 171 is, for example, an electromagnetic drive type on-off valve. The drain valve 171 opens and closes a drain path from the inside of the tub 13 to the outside of the machine via the drain device 17.
An operation panel 18 is provided in this case on the front of the upper surface of the top cover 12. The operation panel 18 receives user operations and displays input operation contents, setting contents, current operation contents, and the like.
As shown in fig. 2, the outer box 11 is configured by combining a plurality of members, in this case, a front plate 111 and a rear plate 112. The front plate 111 and the rear plate 112 are both formed of a metal plate material such as a stainless steel plate. The front plate 111 and the rear plate 112 are formed of a plate material that is thinner than at least a plate material conventionally used by the present applicant, and have a thickness of, for example, 0.5 mm. The thicknesses of the front plate 111 and the rear plate 112 may be changed as appropriate, and are set to 0.5mm or less, for example.
The front plate 111 is formed by bending both end portions in the longitudinal direction of one metal plate material in the same direction, in this case, in a direction to become the rear of the washing machine 10, and has a substantially コ -shaped shape when viewed in the vertical direction. The front plate 111 constitutes the front surface and the right and left side surfaces of the outer box 11. The rear plate 112 is formed of a single metal plate material, and has a substantially plate shape with its end portions being not bent. The rear plate 112 is attached so as to close an open portion formed in the rear portion of the front plate 111, and constitutes the rear surface of the outer box 11.
The outer box 11 is formed in a substantially rectangular tubular shape by combining the front plate 111 and the rear plate 112. Reinforcing plates 19 are provided at the four corners of the upper side of the outer box 11. The reinforcing plate 19 is an example of a reinforcing member for reinforcing the outer case 11.
As illustrated in fig. 3, the reinforcing plate 19 is joined to the corner of the outer box 11 by a plurality of joining portions 192. In the present disclosure, as a joining method of the reinforcing plate 19, for example, spot welding, a fixing method by a screw, or the like can be used. The reinforcing plate 19 has a hooking portion 191. The engaging portion 191 is formed in a shape cut out outward from a portion of the reinforcing plate 19 that is the inner side of the outer case 11. As illustrated in fig. 1, the upper end of the suspension rod 20 is fixed to the engaging portion 191. In addition, a lower end portion of the suspension lever 20 is elastically connected to a lower portion of a side of the tub 13. The washing machine 10 is configured to elastically suspend the tub 13 in the outer cabinet 11 by connecting the plurality of reinforcing plates 19 and the tub 13 by the plurality of suspension rods 20. The suspension lever 20 is an example of a vibration-proof member for elastically supporting the tub 13. The hooking portion 191 is an example of a vibration-proof member supporting portion for supporting the suspension rod 20.
As illustrated in fig. 2, the front plate 111 has reinforcing narrow-reduced portions 21 on the surfaces of the left and right side surfaces of the outer box 11 to reinforce the strength and rigidity of the outer box 11. In this case, the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 is formed in a concave shape protruding toward the inside of the outer box 11 in the front plate 111. The reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be formed in a convex shape protruding outward from the outer box 11 in the front plate 111. The reinforcing narrow-reduced parts 21 are provided in plural on both left and right side surfaces of the outer box 11. The reinforcing narrow-reduced portions 21 are provided symmetrically on both left and right sides of the outer box 11. The reinforcing narrow-reduced portions 21 may be provided on both left and right side surfaces of the outer box 11 in a left-right asymmetrical manner.
Further, the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 extends linearly in the front-rear direction of the washing machine 10. Further, of the both ends in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21, the end on the front surface side of the washing machine 10 extends further toward the front surface side than the rear end of the part on the side surface side of the outer box 11 of the reinforcing plate 19 positioned on the front surface side of the outer box 11. Further, of the both ends in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21, the end on the rear surface side of the washing machine 10 extends further toward the rear surface side than the front end of the part on the side surface side of the outer box 11 of the reinforcing plate 19 located on the rear surface side of the outer box 11.
As shown in fig. 4, the front end of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21, that is, the end extending toward the front surface side from the rear end of the part of the front reinforcing plate 19 on the side surface side of the outer box 11, may extend toward the front surface side from at least one of the plurality of joint parts 192 formed in the part of the front reinforcing plate 19 on the side surface side of the outer box 11, and in this case, may extend toward the front surface side from the rear joint part 192. That is, the distal end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be extended toward the front side from the position indicated by the broken line a in fig. 4. The front end of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may extend toward the front side of the front side joint part 192. That is, the distal end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be extended toward the front surface side from the position indicated by the broken line B in fig. 4. The distal end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be extended toward the front surface side than the engaging part 191 of the reinforcing plate 19. That is, the distal end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be extended further toward the front side than the position indicated by the broken line C in fig. 4.
As shown in fig. 5, the rear end of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21, that is, the end extending to the rear side of the front end of the part of the rear reinforcing plate 19 on the side surface of the outer box 11, may extend to the rear side of at least one of the plurality of joint parts 192 formed on the part of the rear reinforcing plate 19 on the side surface of the outer box 11, and in this case, may extend to the rear side of the joint part 192. That is, the front end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be extended toward the rear side from the position indicated by the broken line a in fig. 5. The rear end of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may extend further toward the rear side than the rear joining part 192. That is, the rear end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be extended toward the rear side from the position indicated by the broken line B in fig. 5. The rear end of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may extend to the rear side of the engaging part 191 of the reinforcing plate 19. That is, the front end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be extended toward the rear side from the position indicated by the broken line C in fig. 5.
By configuring the reinforcing constricted parts 21 as illustrated in fig. 4 and 5, the reinforcing constricted parts 21 can be made longer than at least the length from the rear end parts of the reinforcing plates 19 provided on the front surface side of the outer box 11 to the front end parts of the reinforcing plates 19 provided on the rear surface side of the outer box 11. The reinforcing narrow-width part 21 can extend toward the front surface side than the engaging part 191 of the front reinforcing plate 19 and can extend toward the rear surface side than the engaging part 191 of the rear reinforcing plate 19. The reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may extend toward the front side from the engaging part 191 of the front reinforcing plate 19 or may extend toward the rear side from the engaging part 191 of the rear reinforcing plate 19.
In addition, as illustrated in fig. 6, the washing machine 10 may also be provided with a plurality of reinforcing constrictions 21 between a height T1 of an upper end of the tub 13 and a height T2 of a lower end of the tub 13. The washing machine 10 may further include at least one reinforcing narrow-necked portion 21 on each of upper and lower sides of a height T3 of a central portion of the tub 13 in the vertical direction. In the configuration example illustrated in fig. 6, the washing machine 10 has three reinforcing beads 21 above a height T3 of a central portion in the vertical direction of the tub 13, and has three reinforcing beads 21 below a height T3 of a central portion in the vertical direction of the tub 13. In addition, the washing machine 10 has three reinforcing beads 21 between a height T1 of the upper end of the tub 13 and a height T3 of the central portion, and has two reinforcing beads 21 between a height T2 of the lower end of the tub 13 and a height T3 of the central portion.
In addition, as illustrated in fig. 7, the bottom surfaces of the plurality of reinforcing constrictions 21 may be spaced apart from the side wall surface of the tub 13 by the same distance α. The tub 13 has a configuration in which the diameter of the upper side is larger than that of the lower side, in other words, a cylindrical shape that expands from the lower side toward the upper side. Therefore, in the configuration example illustrated in fig. 7, in order to make the gaps between the bottom surfaces of the plurality of reinforcing beads 21 and the side wall surface of the tub 13 uniform to a predetermined gap α, the bottom surface is shallower, that is, the amount of protrusion to the inside of the outer box 11 is smaller, as the reinforcing bead 21 provided on the upper side is provided, and the bottom surface is deeper, that is, the amount of protrusion to the inside of the outer box 11 is larger, as the reinforcing bead 21 provided on the lower side is provided.
In addition, the washing machine 10 may be configured such that the plurality of reinforcing narrow-width parts 21 are different in size. In the configuration example illustrated in fig. 7, the reinforcing constricted portions 21 provided on the upper side are formed smaller, and the reinforcing constricted portions 21 provided on the lower side are formed larger.
According to the embodiment described above, the washing machine 10 includes the plurality of reinforcing narrow-reduced portions 21 on both left and right side surfaces of the outer box 11. The reinforcing narrow-width part 21 is formed lengthwise in the front-rear direction of the washing machine 10. As described above, by providing the reinforcing narrowed portion 21 in the outer casing 11 along the front-rear direction of the washing machine 10, even if the outer casing 11 is made thinner, in this case, the front plate 111 constituting a part thereof, it is possible to suppress a decrease in strength and rigidity of the outer casing 11.
Further, of the two ends in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing narrowed portion 21, the end portion on the front surface side of the washing machine 10 may extend toward the front surface side more than the rear end portion of the reinforcing plate 19 located on the front surface side among the reinforcing plates 19 provided at the four corners of the outer box 11. Further, of the two ends in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing narrowed portion 21, the end portion on the rear surface side of the washing machine 10 may extend further toward the rear surface side than the front end portion of the reinforcing plate 19 located on the rear surface side among the reinforcing plates 19 provided at the four corners of the outer box 11. That is, the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be configured to be longer than the length from the rear end part of the reinforcing plate 19 provided on the front surface side of the outer box 11 to the front end part of the reinforcing plate 19 provided on the rear surface side of the outer box 11. In this way, by providing the sufficiently long reinforcing constricted portion 21, the effect of the reinforcing constricted portion 21 can be exerted on the reinforcing plate 19 and the peripheral portion thereof in the outer box 11, which are susceptible to the load of the tub 13, and the strength and rigidity of the outer box 11 can be further suppressed from being reduced. Further, by providing the plurality of reinforcing narrowed portions 21 in the outer box 11, the natural frequency of the outer box 11 can be easily increased, and the propagation sound of vibration can be reduced.
In the washing machine 10, it is preferable that the reinforcing narrowed portion 21 is provided on both side surfaces of the outer casing 11 so as to have a longitudinal direction in the front-rear direction of the washing machine 10, a front-side end portion of both longitudinal-direction end portions of the reinforcing narrowed portion 21 extends toward the front surface side than a rear-side end portion of the reinforcing plate 19 located on the front surface side of the outer casing 11, and a rear-side end portion of both longitudinal-direction end portions of the reinforcing narrowed portion 21 extends toward the rear surface side than a front-side end portion of the reinforcing plate 19 located on the rear surface side of the outer casing 11. With this configuration, strength and rigidity can be ensured even in the outer case 11 that is made thin, and vibration and noise can be suppressed.
Further, by providing a plurality of the reinforcing beads 21 between the height T1 of the upper end of the tub 13 and the height T2 of the lower end of the tub 13, that is, by providing a plurality of the reinforcing beads 21 in a dispersed manner so as to face the entire side wall surface of the tub 13, the natural frequency of the front plate 111 can be further easily increased. Furthermore, by increasing the natural frequency of the front plate 111, it is possible to easily suppress resonance of the outer box 11, particularly the front plate 111 provided with the reinforcing narrow-reduced portion 21, caused by vibration generated during operation of the washing machine 10. This can effectively suppress vibration and noise.
Further, by providing at least one reinforcing narrow-necked portion 21 above and below the height T3 of the center portion of the tub 13 in the vertical direction, a configuration in which a plurality of reinforcing narrow-necked portions 21 are arranged in a vertically dispersed manner can be realized, the natural frequency of the front plate 111 can be easily increased, and vibration and noise can be easily suppressed.
In addition, according to the washing machine 10, the bottom surfaces of the plurality of reinforcing constrictions 21 are spaced apart from the sidewall surface of the tub 13 by the same distance, respectively. According to this configuration, the gap between the tub 13 and the outer box 11, particularly, the bottom surface of the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 can be maintained at an appropriate distance, and contact between the tub 13 and the outer box 11 can be suppressed.
(second embodiment)
Next, a second embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 8. This embodiment is the same as the first embodiment except for the reinforcing narrow-reduced part 21 shown in fig. 8. That is, the range in which the reinforcing narrow-width part is provided in the outer case 11 of the present embodiment is different from that of the first embodiment. As illustrated in fig. 8, the reinforcing narrow-width portions 221 extend not only to both side surfaces of the outer box 11 but also to the front surface of the outer box 11.
Specifically, the front end of the reinforcing narrow-width part 221 extends to the front surface of the front plate 111 constituting the outer box 11. Further, the front-side end of the reinforcing narrowed portion 221 extends to a position facing a portion of the reinforcing plate 19 located on the front side of the outer box 11, which portion is the front side of the outer box 11. The front plate 111 is not provided with the reinforcing narrow-width portions 221 at portions between the left and right reinforcing plates 19. Thus, the left and right reinforcing narrowed portions 221 are cut off at the portions of the front plate 111 located between the left and right reinforcing plates 19, and are not continuous with each other in the left-right direction.
According to the second embodiment described above, the front end portion of the reinforcing narrow-width part 221 provided on the side surface of the front plate 111 extends to the front surface of the front plate 111. According to the reinforcing narrowed portion 221 configured as described above, the reinforcing plate 19 and the peripheral portion thereof, which are susceptible to the load of the tub 13, can be supported not only from the side surface side but also from the front surface side. That is, the portion of the reinforcing plate 19 and the peripheral portion thereof that is easily affected by the load of the tub 13 can be increased by the reinforcing narrowed portion 221, and the load applied to the outer box 11 can be more easily dispersed.
As illustrated in fig. 9, washing machine 10 may be configured to include reinforcing narrowed portions 321 that are continuous across both left and right side surfaces and the front surface of outer box 11. The reinforcing narrowed portion 321 can be defined as a portion formed by integrating the reinforcing narrowed portion provided on the front surface of the outer box 11 and the reinforcing narrowed portions provided on the left and right side surfaces of the outer box 11. That is, the washing machine 10 may be configured such that the reinforcing narrow-width portions on both left and right side surfaces extend to the front surface of the outer box 11 and are connected to the front surface of the outer box 11. In addition, the washing machine 10 may be configured such that the reinforcing constricted portion provided on the front surface of the outer box 11 and the reinforcing constricted portion provided on the left or right side surface of the outer box 11 are integrated.
(other embodiments)
The present embodiment is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications and extensions can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. For example, the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be configured to extend further to the front side or the rear side than at least one end of the reinforcing plate 19. That is, the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be configured to extend further to the front side than the rear end part of the front reinforcing plate 19 or further to the rear side than the front end part of the rear reinforcing plate 19.
The washing machine 10 may be configured to include a rear plate in which portions constituting the rear surface and the left and right side surfaces of the outer box 11 are integrated, and a front plate constituting the front surface of the outer box 11, and the reinforcing narrow-width part 21 may be provided on the rear plate. In addition, the washing machine 10 may be configured such that the reinforcing constricted portions provided in the rear surface of the outer box 11 and the reinforcing constricted portions provided in the left and right side surfaces of the outer box 11 are integrated with each other, or may be configured such that the reinforcing constricted portions provided in the rear surface of the outer box 11 and the reinforcing constricted portions provided in the left or right side surface of the outer box 11 are integrated with each other.
In addition, the washing machine 10 may be configured such that the reinforcing narrow-width portion is asymmetric in the left-right direction. In addition, the washing machine 10 may be configured such that the bottom surfaces of the plurality of reinforcing narrow-necked portions are separated from the side wall surface of the tub 13 by different distances.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, these embodiments are provided as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These embodiments can be implemented in other various manners, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and modifications thereof include the scope and gist of the invention, and are also included in the scope and equivalents of the invention included in the claims.
