Fig. 1 is a front view of a three-dimensional dyed and coated veneer 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, wherein a dyeing layer and a coating layer are not shown. Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the three-dimensional dyed coated veneer 100 of fig. 1 along line a-a. Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the three-dimensional dyed and painted veneer 100 includes a substrate 110, a veneer layer 130, a dyed layer 140 (not shown in fig. 1), and a painted layer 150 (not shown in fig. 1). In the present embodiment, the substrate 110 is a plywood made of wood, and the thickness of the plywood is 1mm to 8 mm. In some embodiments, the substrate 110 may be a dense board or a melamine board. The veneer layer 130 is attached to the substrate 110, has a thickness of 0.5mm to 1.8mm, and has a surface 131 far away from the substrate 110. The surface 131 has two opposite edges, an edge 132 and an edge 134. The veneer layer 130 further has a first groove 136 and a second groove 138, the groove depth is 0.1mm to 1.2mm, and the groove width is 3mm to 50 mm. The first groove 136 and the second groove 138 are recessed from the surface 131 and extend to the edges 132 and 134, respectively. The first groove 136 has a first width W1 and a first depth D1, and the second groove 138 has a second width W2 different from the first width W1 and a second depth D2 different from the first depth D1. The dyed layer 140 may be uniformly or non-uniformly coated on the surface 131 of the veneer layer 130 away from the substrate 110, or may completely or partially penetrate into the veneer layer 130; the coating layer 150 uniformly covers the surface of the dyeing layer 140. In addition, the solid-dyed coated veneer 100 has a size of 90cm to 150cm in width and 210cm to 330cm in length.
It should be understood that fig. 1 and 2 only illustrate two grooves, namely, the first groove 136 and the second groove 138, but the invention should not be limited thereto. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the solid-dyed coated veneer 100 may include a greater number of grooves without departing from the spirit of the present disclosure and is within the scope of the present disclosure.
The stereoscopic dyeing-coated wood veneer panel 100 has a first groove 136 and a second groove 138 with different widths and depths, and in the present embodiment, the surface 131 of the stereoscopic dyeing-coated wood veneer panel 100 can be in a wavy shape.
Referring to fig. 2, in the present embodiment, the first groove 136 and the second groove 138 of the three-dimensional dyed and coated veneer 100 smoothly connect the surface 131 of the veneer layer 130. In other words, the connection between the surface 131 and either of the first and second grooves 136, 138 forms a rounded shape. Thus, the surface 131 of the solid dyed and painted veneer 100 is natural in touch and close to the grain of the natural veneer, unlike the conventional natural veneer or printed grain. The dye layer 140 may be uniformly or non-uniformly coated on the surface 131 of the veneer layer 130 away from the substrate, or may be completely or partially penetrated into the veneer layer 130, depending on the type of the veneer layer 130. In the present embodiment, the wood skin layer 130 is natural wood skin or artificial wood skin. Therefore, the dyeing layer 140 can make the three-dimensional dyed and coated veneer 100 generate different color level changes, so as to provide the appearance and three-dimensional gradation closer to the natural wood grain, and can be protected by the coating layer 150.
Returning to fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the first groove 136 and the second groove 138 of the solid-color-coated veneer 100 are straight or curved or have at least one intersection (with at least one intersection, the first groove 136 and the second groove 138 may have at least one portion that is intersected and connected to each other at the intersection, which is not shown in the drawing) and extend between the two edges 132 and 134. Thus, the wave shape on the surface 131 of the solid dyed coated veneer 100 is irregular and closer to the natural veneer grain, unlike the traditional natural veneer or printed wood grain.
As previously described, the solid-dyed painted veneer 100 may include a greater number of grooves and be included in the present invention. In order to make the stereoscopic dyed and painted veneer 100 more natural visually and tactually, the stereoscopic dyed and painted veneer 100 of the present invention requires that the width of the groove be greater than the depth of the groove. Referring to fig. 2, in the present embodiment, the first width W1 of the first groove 136 and the second width W2 of the second groove 138 are respectively greater than the first depth D1 of the first groove 136 and the second depth D2 of the second groove 138. In some embodiments, the width of each groove ranges from 3mm to 50mm, and the depth of each groove ranges from 0.1mm to 1.2 mm.
Referring to fig. 2, in the present embodiment, the first width W1 of the first groove 136 is greater than the second width W2 of the second groove 138, and the first depth D1 of the first groove 136 is greater than the second depth D2 of the second groove 138. In some embodiments, the stereo dye-coated veneer 100 may alternate between a wider and deeper groove and another narrower and shallower groove, which are similar to the first groove 136 and the second groove 138 of fig. 2, respectively, and such alternate use may visually generate shades and layers with different depths, which are sequentially displayed on the surface 131 of the stereo dye-coated veneer 100.
In some embodiments, a combination of straight-line extending grooves (e.g., the first grooves 136 of fig. 1) and curved-line extending grooves (e.g., the second grooves 138 of fig. 1) may be used, and the number of grooves is arbitrary, and different grooves have different widths and depths, which are all covered by the present invention. For example, in some embodiments, the substrate may be a 1220mm x 2440mm plank of natural or synthetic engineered wood having a thickness of 1mm to 8mm, attached to a veneer layer having a thickness ranging from 0.5mm to 1.8mm, and formed on the veneer layer surface in a number ratio of 1: 1 wide groove and narrow groove. The wide groove and the narrow groove can extend linearly or in a bent manner. In some embodiments, the wide groove and the narrow groove are curved. In a specific embodiment, the width of the wide groove is 22mm and the width of the narrow groove is 18 mm. In another specific embodiment, the width of the wide groove is 35mm and the width of the narrow groove is 25 mm. It should be understood, however, that the detailed description is provided for illustrative purposes only and is not intended to limit the invention in any way.
In the above embodiments of the present disclosure, since the three-dimensional dyed and painted veneer has smooth grooves with different widths and depths, and the grooves are straight or curved extensions, the three-dimensional dyed and painted veneer has an irregular wavy shape, and the dyeing and painting processes are added, so that the three-dimensional dyed and painted veneer has a visually distinct three-dimensional appearance and a tactile sense close to the wood veneer grain of the original tree. In vision, the change of different color levels on the appearance can be more shown after the dyeing and the coating are carried out by using the dye. For indoor decoration, by combining the design of the indoor wall surface or furniture of the stereoscopic dyeing and coating veneer, the space can generate an atmosphere closer to the nature due to novel visual and tactile feelings of the stereoscopic dyeing and coating veneer.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to a preferred embodiment, it should be understood that various changes, substitutions and alterations can be made herein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
