Description

Domestic refrigeration device with a drawer
Technical Field
The invention relates to a domestic refrigerator having a housing in which a receiving space for food is formed. Furthermore, the domestic refrigeration appliance comprises a door which is formed for closing the receiving space. Further, the domestic refrigeration appliance comprises a functional compartment.
Background
In household refrigeration appliances, it is known that they can additionally comprise a functional compartment in addition to the main receiving space for the food (which may be, for example, a refrigerating compartment or a freezing compartment). Thus, it is known in this context that a domestic refrigeration appliance can comprise a specific container which is arranged within the receiving space but in which the storage conditions differ from the remaining volume of the receiving space. For example, different air humidities and/or different temperatures may be provided in such containers. Thereby, various foods such as fruits and vegetables or also fishes can be stored separately and thus can be kept fresh for a long time.
Disclosure of Invention
It is an object of the invention to provide a domestic refrigeration appliance in which different storage items can be stored and in which easy accessibility to the storage items is permitted.
The object is solved by a domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention.
The invention relates to a domestic refrigerator having a housing in which a receiving space for food is formed. Furthermore, the domestic refrigeration appliance comprises a door which is formed for closing the receiving space. The door may be rotatably attached to the housing. Furthermore, the domestic refrigeration appliance comprises at least one functional compartment. The functional compartment is different from the receiving space and different temperatures or humidities may be selected for the functional compartment, for example. The functional compartment includes a drawer accessible from the outside. By being accessible from the outside, the drawer can be opened or closed by the user without opening or closing the door. A surface of a component of the drawer, for example a front wall of the drawer, forms an outer surface of the domestic refrigeration appliance. These outer surfaces are thus exposed to the environment. The drawer is implemented separately from the door. The drawer includes a front wall. The front wall of the drawer includes a viewing window. The viewing window enables light from the environment of the domestic refrigeration appliance to enter the functional compartment and vice versa. The viewing window allows a user to see inside the functional compartment. Thus, a domestic refrigeration appliance is provided which, in addition to a receiving space, comprises a functional compartment, in particular a functional compartment separate from the receiving space, which is individually accessible and can be observed. In this case, the functional compartment comprises its own closing member, which is formed by the front wall of the drawer. Thus, the functional compartment is accessible independently of the operation of the door, by means of which the receiving space can be closed. By configuring the functional compartment as a drawer, it can be easily pulled out and pushed in, so that food placed therein can be simply removed and can also be simply placed in the pulled out or pulled out state of the drawer. Furthermore, by the arrangement of the drawer such that its front wall represents an exterior part of the domestic refrigeration appliance and by having a viewing window, it is possible to easily identify which food is stored in the functional compartment even in the closed state. The contents of the functional compartment can be directly identified through the front wall in the closed state of the drawer without having to open the drawer and thus without pulling out or withdrawing the drawer. This is a significant advantage, since the drawer does not have to be opened and therefore the storage conditions provided in the functional compartment do not change undesirably. Furthermore, with such a configuration, it is also possible to achieve opening of the drawer independently of the door opening the receiving space, so that the two storage compartments can be opened and accessed virtually independently of one another. The storage conditions respectively present in the respective other compartments are not undesirably influenced. In particular, it is advantageous if the storage conditions can be adjusted independently of the receiving space in the functional compartment.
According to one embodiment, in a front view of the domestic refrigeration appliance, the front wall of the drawer is arranged so as not to overlap the door. The front walls of the door and the drawer are separate components which in the closed state of the door and the drawer respectively actually terminate the domestic refrigeration appliance in the front and can be recognized as such front-side exterior components. The door may be located vertically above the drawer.
According to another embodiment, the viewing window comprises an insulating glass unit. The insulating glass unit is formed as at least double-folded glass with an intermediate space between two glass plates. The intermediate space may be evacuated or filled with an insulating gas, such as an inert gas. By such a configuration, not only sufficient see-through transparency is provided, but also a high heat insulating effect is achieved. This is particularly advantageous if cooling is to be performed in the functional compartment, for example for a specific food, such as cheese or a specific meat, or for a bottle, such as a wine bottle.
According to one embodiment, the viewing window may comprise a front panel connected to the door panel, for example by an adhesive connection (e.g. double sided tape). The front panel is completely or partially transparent. The front panel may be made of glass. The front panel may define (in the depth direction) an intermediate space of the viewing window, which is evacuated or filled with an insulating gas. The front panel may extend beyond other components of the viewing window in the width and/or height direction. In particular, the front panel may extend wider in width and height than the other glass sheets of the viewing window. The front panel may cover almost all other parts of the front wall in the width and/or height direction, when viewed in the depth direction. The front panel may in particular form an exterior part of the drawer and thus of the refrigeration device. In particular, the front panel may be substantially or completely flush with the front surface of the individual door. This allows a smooth and thus easy-to-clean outer surface of the drawer to be formed on one side. On the other hand, the viewing window, especially when comprising insulating glass, can be positioned and attached to the drawer structure in the most suitable way.
According to another embodiment, the front wall comprises a door panel to which the viewing window is attached. Thereby, a stable configuration of the front wall is provided. The door panel may be made of metal, for example of stamped and bent sheet metal. The viewing window may be attached to the door panel by an adhesive connection, for example with double-sided adhesive tape.
According to another embodiment, the door panel comprises a front plate having an aperture and a side element adjoining the front plate and inclined with respect to the front plate. The door panel may still be a one-piece element, such as a stamped and bent sheet metal. In the arrangement of the door panel, in which the side elements are integrally formed on the edge side of the front panel and are positioned opposite to each other in the width direction, a certain mechanical stability of the door panel is also achieved. In particular, the torsional rigidity is thereby increased. By the side elements being angled rearwards, a lateral protection for the viewing window is also provided, so that the viewing window is laterally bounded and not directly exposed. To enable a large viewing window, the size of the aperture is preferably at least 50% or at least 75% or at least 80% of the rectangle surrounding the door panel when viewed in front view (e.g. from the perspective of a user standing in front of the domestic refrigeration appliance). The aperture may be rectangular when viewed in front elevation. In the depth direction, a portion of the viewing window may extend into the hole. That is, the circumferential edge of the aperture may surround a portion of the viewing window.
According to another embodiment, the side elements form the outer surface of the front wall. Thus, the side elements are visible to the user. By using metal door panels, these side elements can in this way be made of the same material as similar side surfaces of e.g. a door or body.
According to another embodiment, the front side of the front panel of the door panel and the partial area of the front side of the viewing window adjacent to the front panel are concealed by the shield. The shroud may be in the form of a circumferentially closed frame positioned around the aperture in front view. The shield may be positioned on the viewing window, in particular on the outermost panel of the viewing window located on the surface facing away from the functional compartment or on the surface facing the functional compartment. The shield may be a printed layer. The shield makes it possible to cover and cover the transition between the front side of the door panel and the aperture.
According to another embodiment, the front wall comprises a connection frame, which is connected to the viewing window. The viewing window and the connection frame may be connected by an adhesive connection, for example by a double-sided adhesive tape or a sealing tape. The rear side (facing the functional compartment) of the viewing window may abut against the connection frame.
By this configuration, it is made possible to securely mount the observation window in the front wall. On the other hand, by using a door panel and a connecting frame, a simpler assembly solution is also allowed. A comprehensive and optionally complex assembly process for inserting the viewing window into the one-piece element for the door panel and the connecting frame, which still comprises a correspondingly complex shape and configuration, is thus avoided. Preferably, there is a gap between the outer periphery of the observation window and the connection frame in the width and height directions. Thus, for example, manufacturing tolerances and assembly tolerances of the viewing window can also be compensated for simply.
The connection frame may be connected to the frame support and the drawer may include a curb rail, wherein the curb rail may be attached to the frame support. The frame support, connecting frame, curb rails, and door panel are preferably separate components, where each of these components may be a unitary component. By such a construction with a connecting frame and a frame support, the assembly can be further simplified and the front wall can be formed here relatively compactly and with a saving in weight. Furthermore, a mechanically stable connection to the frame support can be provided, so that the front wall here also remains fixed in position on the support and has a corresponding mechanical load-bearing capacity.
The retaining track may be coupled to a slide that is attached to a wall of the interior of the functional compartment in the housing. The slide, which may be a component of a domestic refrigeration appliance, may be a telescopic slide, for example. By means of these limit rails, a simple coupling with the slides and thus a very easy linear displacement in the depth direction can be achieved. The drawer can thus also be operated in a very user-friendly manner.
According to one embodiment, the connection frame and the frame support are connected to each other by a latching connection. On the one hand, this is a very quickly produced mechanical connection, and on the other hand, this particular connection is also very effective, which means that it enables the two components to be highly positionally fixed relative to each other, and on the other hand also to withstand high loads. Furthermore, with this arrangement, there is no longer a requirement here for additional separate connecting elements, such as screws, to be required again for connecting the two components.
Preferably, the connecting frame and/or the frame support are made of plastic. They may each be a one-piece component, for example an injection moulded plastic component. Although lightweight, they can easily be provided in complex shapes and have good thermal insulation capabilities.
Preferably, the connecting frame and/or the frame support are each a single wall part. In particular, they may be formed as circumferentially closed frames.
According to one embodiment, the front wall comprises a cavity (e.g. a cavity) filled with an insulating material. The insulating material may be, for example, an insulating foam. The thermal insulation capacity of the drawer is thus increased, so that the functional compartment can be used also efficiently at low temperatures. The chamber may be formed circumferentially annularly around a portion of the viewing window such that the viewing window is in fact circumferentially surrounded by the thermally insulating material. The insulating material may in particular be in contact with portions of the viewing window, such as lateral side surfaces.
According to one embodiment, the front wall includes a lower termination strip. Preferably, a cable channel and/or a light source compartment is formed in the lower termination strip. The lower termination strip may be a separate part, in particular a one-piece part, such as an injection-molded part. By this arrangement, it is at the same time also possible to simply lay the cable in the front wall. By the preferably integrated and thus integral arrangement of the cable channel with the lower termination strip, a component-less arrangement is also provided. The light source compartment may also provide the same structure. The at least one light source can be formed by a light source compartment and arranged in the drawer itself, in particular in the front wall, so that individual illumination of the front wall, in particular in the region of the viewing window and/or into the functional compartment, can also be achieved.
The lower termination strip may comprise at least one injection opening through which an insulating material, in particular an insulating foam, may be introduced. Thus, the front wall may be practically fully assembled prior to injecting the insulation material into the cavity. Advantageously, the pouring opening can then be closed firmly, wherein a special opening cap can be provided.
According to one embodiment, the front wall includes an upper termination strip. Preferably, a recessed drawer handle is formed in the upper termination strip. The lower termination strip may be a separate part, in particular a one-piece part, such as an injection-molded part. The drawer handle allows a user to open the drawer. The recessed drawer handle is especially grippable from the top and front. Thus, by means of the upper termination strip, a multifunctional component is correspondingly provided, as can the lower termination strip in an advantageous embodiment. By means of the recessed handle integrated in the upper stop strip, a space-saving gripping concept as well as user-friendly operation and simple gripping can be achieved.
Preferably, the recessed drawer handle includes a rear side boundary wall formed as an inclined portion. The inclined portion extends obliquely rearward from the bottom portion to the top portion such that the grip opening of the recessed drawer handle oriented toward the top portion is actually flared. The recessed drawer handle narrows toward the bottom.
In an advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the display and/or operating unit is arranged in the upper stop strip, in particular at an inclined portion which is formed as a rear boundary wall of the recessed drawer handle. Due to the orientation of this inclined portion, the display and/or operating unit is also compact in construction and also easy to see.
Preferably, it is provided that in a first assembly step the viewing window is fixed to the door panel, in particular by means of adhesive tape, and then in an advantageous embodiment it is fixed in place by attaching it around the viewing window with a thermally insulating material.
The front wall may include an insulating foam that contacts the elements of the front wall and additionally secures the elements to one another. Thus, the strength of the front wall is improved. These elements in contact with the insulating foam may be one or more or all of the following: door plant, observation window, connecting frame, frame support, lower termination strip, last termination strip.
In an advantageous embodiment, provision can also be made for a further seal to be attached between the viewing window and the connecting frame.
Preferably, the front wall is manufactured first and the retaining rail is fixed to the frame support after the front wall has been manufactured completely, in particular also after the foaming process.
Preferably, the front wall comprises an additional separate backing member, which is provided at the frame support, where the check track is fixed, in particular screwed, to the backing member. The wall of the frame support is here arranged between the retaining rail and the backing member. The backing member may be made of metal. In one embodiment, the drawer includes a slotted aperture through which height and/or angle adjustment of the drawer is permitted. This is particularly visible for the check track.
In one embodiment, the door panel and the connecting frame are spaced apart and thus disposed without contacting each other. In an alternative embodiment, the door panel is in direct contact with the connecting frame and the viewing window is in turn embedded in the middle. Preferably, the rearwardly angled support elements provided as door panels are dimensioned such that the other components, in particular the viewing window, the connecting frame and in particular also the frame support, are actually mounted within this dimension of these support elements, viewed in the depth direction. A particularly compact design of the front wall in the depth direction can thus be achieved.
In particular, the connecting frame is a profile that is angled several times, so that the connecting frame adjoins both on the narrow-edge side of the viewing window and on the rear side of the viewing window, or delimits the viewing window on two different regions. The connecting frame is thus shaped in cross section at least in an L-shape, preferably in particular in an S-shape.
The front wall may be provided with a seal facing the housing to improve the sealing of the functional compartment in the closed state of the drawer. The seal may be fixed to the frame support.
With the designations "top", "bottom", "front", "rear", "horizontal", "vertical", "depth direction", "width direction", "height direction", etc., the position and orientation are specified in the context of the intended use and the intended arrangement of the appliance.

Detailed Description
In the drawings, identical or functionally identical elements are provided with the same reference numerals.
In fig. 1, an embodiment of a domestic refrigeration appliance 1 is shown in a perspective view. A domestic refrigeration appliance 1 formed for storing and preserving food comprises a housing 2. In the shown embodiment, a first receiving space 3 for food is formed in the housing 2, which is a refrigerating compartment. In the embodiment described, this first receiving space 3 is closable on the front side by two separate doors 4 and 5, the doors 4 and 5 representing the front-side exterior or viewing components. Two doors 4 and 5 disposed without overlapping in the width direction (x direction) and at the same height position in the height direction (y direction) are pivotally provided at the housing 2 about a vertical axis.
In the embodiment described, it is provided that the domestic refrigeration appliance 1 comprises a further receiving space 6, which may be a freezer space, separate from the first receiving space 3. The second receiving space 6 can be closed at the front side by a separate door 7. The door 7 may be an integral part of a drawer, which drawer represents the second receiving space 6. Preferably, the doors 4, 5 and 7 are arranged in one plane. In particular, the door 7 is also a front side viewing member.
Furthermore, the domestic refrigeration appliance 1 comprises a functional compartment 8. The functional compartment 8 is formed for receiving food and forms a storage compartment separated from the first receiving space 3 and from the second receiving space 6. In the embodiment shown, the functional compartment 8 is accessible by a drawer which is displaceable in a linear direction in the depth direction (z-direction). The drawer 9 comprises a front wall 10, in which front wall 10 a transparent area 11 is formed. Thereby, the interior of the functional compartment 8 can be seen even in the closed state of the drawer 9. The front wall 10 represents an outer part or a front-side viewing part, so that in the closed state of the drawer 9 it is no longer covered on the front side and is exposed on the front side for this purpose.
In particular, the front wall 10 is arranged in the plane of the closed doors 4, 5 and 7 in the closed state of the drawer 9.
In the embodiment shown, a drawer 9 is formed in the housing 2 between the two receiving spaces 3 and 6, viewed in the height direction (y-direction).
The functional compartment 8 is configured to enable that different storage conditions can be adjusted compared to the receiving space 3 and the receiving space 6, and this can also be achieved independently of the storage conditions in the receiving space 3 and the receiving space 6. Thus, for example, in the functional compartment 8, in particular the individual air humidity and/or the individual temperature can be regulated.
The functional compartment 8 may be a bottle storage compartment, in particular a wine storage drawer. However, it may also be provided that meals are stored as food in the functional compartment 8, and this is for example a cheese counter or a meat counter. Therefore, the respective storage areas can be viewed through the transparent area 11 even in the closed state of the drawer 9, and thus it is possible to easily identify what kind of articles are stored in the drawer 9.
In particular, the functional compartment 9 also provides a display compartment in which specific stored items, such as wine bottles or specific cheese pieces or specific meat pieces, such as steaks or the like, can be presented, displayed and seen even if the drawer 9 is closed.
Depending on its storage function, the drawer 9 may comprise individual storage elements for the provided storage items. For example, if the drawer 9 is formed as a wine bottle storage drawer, the drawer 9 may comprise a bottle storage element. The bottle storage element can be an element which can receive the bottles in an external form-fitting manner, for example a trough-shaped element or a circular holder. Furthermore, within the housing, a storage element, such as a shelf, may be disposed in the functional compartment.
In fig. 2, the drawer 9 is shown with parts. Here, a front wall 10 is shown. The transparent area 11 is formed by a viewing window 12, the viewing window 12 being formed as a separate part of itself. The viewing window 12 may be, for example, an insulating glass unit.
The front wall 10 comprises a frame 13, the frame 13 preferably being formed in multiple parts. The door panel 14 comprises a front panel 15, the front panel 15 comprising a recess or hole 20, said recess or hole 20 being circumferentially closed or bounded. Through this opening 20, it can then also be viewed through the rear viewing window 12.
On the opposite edge sides in the width direction, the support elements 16 and 17 are respectively formed integrally, in abutment with the front plate 15, in particular by bending.
It can be provided that the front panel 41 of the observation window 12 is applied to the front side 18 of the front panel 15, said front side 18 also representing the outside. The front panel 41, which is formed as a plate, is at least partially transparent. It is made in particular of real glass. The front panel 41 is a frontal viewing member and is larger in size than the other elements of the viewing window 12. Furthermore, the front panel 41 also covers the front side 18. The front panel is connected at its rear side to another element of the viewing window 12. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the rear side of the front panel 41 is connected to the front side 18, in particular by an adhesive connection (fig. 5 to 10). The adhesive connection may be a double-sided tape.
Preferably, it is provided that the front wall 10 comprises a shield 19. The hood 19 may be disposed on the front side of the front panel 41. The hood 19 may also be disposed on the rear side of the front panel 41. Preferably, the hood 19 is formed opaquely and thereby covers a partial area of the front panel 41. By means of this, a partial region of the observation window 12, in particular the region in which the adhesive connection 42 is arranged, is covered. The shield 19 is in particular frame-shaped. The shield 19 may preferably be a printed layer or a glued film layer.
Furthermore, as is apparent in fig. 2, the front wall 10 comprises an upper termination strip 21. Preferably, a recessed drawer handle 22 is integrally formed in the upper termination strip 21, wherein the recessed drawer handle 22 can be gripped at least from the top, in particular from the top and from the front. The recessed drawer handle 22 is bounded by a rear wall 23, the rear wall 23 being formed as an inclined portion. In an advantageous embodiment, a display and/or operating unit 24 is provided in the rear wall 23. It can be provided that the rear wall 23 itself is formed from a transparent material, in particular real glass, or that such real glass is applied to the rear wall 23.
Also to enable front-side gripping of the recessed drawer handle 22, the front panel 15 of the door panel 14 includes a free cutout 25 open to the top, as is apparent from fig. 4.
Furthermore, according to the representation of fig. 2, the drawer 9 also comprises two retaining rails 26 and 27, which are fixed, in particular screwed, to the front wall 10. The limit rails 26 and 27 are formed for coupling to a slide, in particular a telescopic slide, not shown, so that the drawer 9 can be displaced back and forth in the depth direction accordingly.
In fig. 3, the arrangement of the components according to fig. 2 is shown in a perspective view different from that of fig. 2. Furthermore, the front wall 10 also comprises a frame support 28, which is in particular an integral, separate component. The curb rails 26 and 27 are preferably fixed to the frame support 28.
Furthermore, the front wall 10 comprises a separate connecting frame 29, which is shown in fig. 3. As shown in the representation in fig. 5, the observation window 12 is provided between the hood 19 and the connection frame 29 as viewed in the depth direction. In this embodiment, the door panel 14 and the connecting frame 29 are disposed so as not to contact each other. As is already apparent from fig. 5, the connecting frame 29 surrounds a portion of the viewing window 12 on at least two sides, on the one hand on the narrow edge 30 and on the other hand on the rear side 31.
Furthermore, it is apparent that the front wall 10 comprises a separate lower termination component or lower termination strip 32. The lower termination strip 32 is connected to the frame support 28 and to the door panel 14. Accordingly, the upper termination strip 21 is also preferably connected to the door panel 14 and the frame support 28. As is apparent from fig. 5, the front wall 10 is formed at least partially hollow, wherein the cavity 33 is delimited by the door panel 14, the termination strips 21 and 32 and the rear, i.e. the frame support 28. The viewing window 12 and the connecting frame 29 further enclose a cavity 33. The cavity 33 is filled with an insulating material, in particular insulating foam 34 (fig. 9). Thus, the viewing window 12 is circumferentially surrounded by the insulating foam 34. Accordingly, the insulating foam 34 is also in contact with the connecting frame 29 here.
The frame support 28 is formed as a completely closed rear wall which stabilizes the connecting frame 29 and covers it at the rear, so that the front wall 10 is therefore also covered at the rear by this frame support 28 in this respect.
For the introduction of the insulating material, in particular the insulating foam 34, the lower termination strip 32 comprises in an advantageous embodiment an injection opening 35, as shown in fig. 6. After the introduction of the insulating foam 34, this injection opening 35 can be closed by a special cover element.
In fig. 5, it is furthermore apparent that the frame support 28 is connected to the connecting frame 29, in particular by at least one latching connection 36. The latch links 36 are preferably formed at a plurality of positions as viewed in the circumferential direction of the connecting frame 29.
The stop rails 26, 27 are fixed to the frame support 28 using holes in the stop rail 27, respectively, and in the stop rail 26.
In fig. 7, a view of the components according to fig. 2 and 3 in the region of the connection of the stop rail 27 to the frame support 28 is shown in a perspective sectional view. In the horizontal cross-sectional view, the frame support 28 is formed in a V-shape, and a separate backing member 37 is provided in the V-shape. The curb rails 27 are threaded to the frame support such that the V-shaped brackets of the frame support 28 are disposed between the curb rails 27 and the backing member 37. Correspondingly, the threaded connection of the limit rail 27 is formed on the opposite side.
In fig. 8, the seal 38 is shown in an enlarged perspective view as being disposed between the rear side 31 of the observation window 12 and the connection frame 29. Here, a double-sided adhesive tape may also be provided.
In fig. 9, a partial region of the front wall 10 is shown in a simplified sectional view, wherein the already foamed state is apparent here. Thereby, a thermal bridge between the connecting frame 29 and the door panel 14 is particularly prevented.
In fig. 10, an embodiment of the front wall 10 is shown in another perspective cut-away view. Unlike the previous embodiment, it is provided here that the connecting frame 29 is also directly connected to the door panel 14.
In fig. 11, the lower termination strip 32 is also shown in a perspective detail view. In which the cable channel 39 is integrally formed. In addition or alternatively, light source chambers not explicitly shown here can also be formed integrated in the lower termination strip 32.
