Abstract
The invention discloses a solid pellet for transporting asphalt in solidified form, the pellet comprising: the inner core is contained in the shell, and the inner core and the shell are in compact contact; the inner core comprises a mixture of bitumen and a hydrocarbon-containing polymer; the outer shell comprises a polymeric material, the hydrocarbon polymer being present in the mixture in at least one immiscible phase, the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the bitumen being such that the pour point of the bitumen recovered from the mixture before mixing with the hydrocarbon-containing polymer varies from the pour point of the bitumen by at most 3 ℃, the solubility of the polymeric material being greater than 7wt% at a temperature of 120 ℃. The difficulty of transporting and adopting the asphalt in different places is well solved through the granules; the material is saved, the waste is reduced, and the material is fully utilized according to the use region; a new solid asphalt transport structure is provided.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of transportation technology, and in particular, to a solid pellet for transporting asphalt in a solidified form.
Background
The asphalt is easy to flow when hot, easy to adhere when cold and difficult to transport, and in the prior art, no method for transporting solid asphalt is available, which brings difficulty which cannot be overcome for the different-place application of asphalt, and simultaneously, because too much asphalt output is not well utilized, waste is caused, so that the asphalt is required and cannot be well solved, and too much asphalt is produced, so that the asphalt cannot be well applied, great waste is caused, the demand of one party is not enough, and the output of the other party is too much.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above technical problems in the related art, the present invention proposes a solid pellet for transporting asphalt in solidified form, which can overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art.

a solid pellet for transporting asphalt in solidified form, the pellet comprising: an inner core and an outer shell, wherein the inner core is contained in the outer shell, and the inner core and the outer shell are in dense contact;
the inner core comprises a mixture of bitumen and a hydrocarbon-containing polymer, wherein the bitumen is separable into components of a mixture of hydrocarbons and non-metal derivatives;
the casing comprises a polymeric material, the hydrocarbon polymer being present in the mixture in at least one immiscible phase, wherein the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the bitumen is such that the pour point of the bitumen recovered from the mixture before mixing with the hydrocarbon-containing polymer varies from at most 3 ℃ to the pour point of the bitumen, the solubility of the polymeric material being greater than 7wt% at a temperature of 120 ℃.
Further, the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the bitumen is less than 5 wt% at a temperature of 120 ℃.
Further, the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the asphalt is such that the asphalt recovered from the mixture does not change by more than 3 ℃ when compared to the pour point of the asphalt prior to mixing with the hydrocarbon-containing polymer.
Further, the hydrocarbon-containing polymer includes polyethylene, polypropylene, or polystyrene.
Further, the outer shell is free of pitch.
Furthermore, the outer surface of the shell is concave-convex.
Further, the housing shape includes a circle, a rectangle, or an ellipse.
Further, the outer shell has a slot corresponding to the inner core.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the difficulty of transporting and adopting the asphalt in different places is well solved through the granules; the material is saved, the waste is reduced, and the material is fully utilized according to the use region; a new solid asphalt transport structure is provided.

the core 1 comprises a mixture of bitumen and a hydrocarbon-containing polymer, wherein the bitumen is separable into components of a mixture of hydrocarbons and non-metal derivatives;
the casing comprises a polymeric material, the hydrocarbon polymer being present in the mixture in at least one immiscible phase, wherein the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the bitumen is such that the pour point of the bitumen recovered from the mixture before mixing with the hydrocarbon-containing polymer varies from at most 3 ℃ to the pour point of the bitumen, the solubility of the polymeric material being greater than 7wt% at a temperature of 120 ℃.
In a particular embodiment of the invention, the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the bitumen is less than 5 wt% at a temperature of 120 ℃.
In a particular embodiment of the invention, the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the bitumen is such that the pour point of the bitumen recovered from the mixture prior to mixing with the hydrocarbon-containing polymer does not vary by more than 3 ℃ when compared to the pour point of the bitumen.
In a particular embodiment of the invention, the hydrocarbon-containing polymer comprises polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene.
In one embodiment of the invention, the housing 2 is free of bitumen.
In a specific embodiment of the invention, the outer surface of the shell is concave-convex.
In a specific embodiment of the invention, the housing shape comprises a circle, a rectangle or an ellipse.
In one embodiment of the invention, the outer shell 2 has a groove corresponding to the inner core 1.
In order to facilitate understanding of the above-described aspects of the present invention, the above-described aspects of the present invention will be described in detail below.
In particular use, a particular method of use for transporting solid pellets of asphalt in solidified form according to the invention comprises the steps of:
mixing and cooling asphalt and hydrocarbon-containing polymer to obtain an inner core 1;
the inner core 1 is wrapped by the outer shell 2 made of polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene;
transporting asphalt according to different local conditions, and when transporting the asphalt to a destination for use, raising the temperature to over 120 ℃ to melt the shell of the asphalt to obtain the asphalt.
In conclusion, by means of the technical scheme, the problems of different-place transportation and different-place adoption of the asphalt are well solved through the granules; the material is saved, the waste is reduced, and the material is fully utilized according to the use region; a new solid asphalt transport structure is provided.

Claims (8)
1. A solid pellet for transporting asphalt in solidified form, comprising: an inner core and an outer shell, wherein the inner core is contained in the outer shell, and the inner core and the outer shell are in dense contact;
the inner core comprises a mixture of bitumen and a hydrocarbon-containing polymer, wherein the bitumen is separable into components of a mixture of hydrocarbons and non-metal derivatives;
the casing comprises a polymeric material, the hydrocarbon polymer being present in the mixture in at least one immiscible phase, wherein the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in the bitumen is such that the pour point of the bitumen recovered from the mixture before mixing with the hydrocarbon-containing polymer varies from at most 3 ℃ to the pour point of the bitumen, the solubility of the polymeric material being greater than 7wt% at a temperature of 120 ℃.
2. Solid pellet for transporting asphalt in solidified form according to claim 1, characterized in that the solubility of the hydrocarbon-containing polymer in asphalt is less than 5 wt% at a temperature of 120 ℃.
3. A solid pellet for transporting asphalt in a solidified form as claimed in claim 1, wherein the solubility of said hydrocarbon-containing polymer in asphalt is such that the pour point of asphalt recovered from the mixture prior to mixing with said hydrocarbon-containing polymer does not vary by more than 3 ℃ when compared to the pour point of asphalt.
4. A solid pellet for transporting asphalt in a solidified form according to claim 1, characterized in that the hydrocarbon-containing polymer comprises polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene.
5. A solid pellet for transporting asphalt in a solidified form as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that said casing is free of asphalt.
6. A solid particulate material for transporting asphalt in a solidified form as set forth in claim 1, wherein said outer casing has an outer surface having a concavo-convex shape.
7. A solid pellet for transporting asphalt in a solidified form as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that said casing shape comprises a circle, rectangle or ellipse.
8. A solid pellet for transporting asphalt in a solidified form as set forth in claim 1, wherein said outer casing has a groove corresponding to said inner core.
