Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, a device, and a readable storage medium for adjusting an idle channel evaluation threshold.
Background
Currently, in a wireless communication network, before a data transceiver and an access channel communicate, the data transceiver needs to monitor the channel continuously, and the monitoring duration is DIFS (Distributed Coordination Function Inter-frame Space ). If the wireless communication device considers the monitored channel to be in an idle state in the monitoring time, the wireless communication device can access the current monitored channel after the DIFS is finished to carry out data transmission. Wherein CCA (Clear Channel Assessment, clear channel access) is an identification used to determine that a channel is busy or clear before a wireless device accesses the channel. When a wireless communication device wants to access a channel, if the physical layer of the device detects that the signal power on the channel is above the CCA threshold, the device must enter an evasion procedure to wait for the channel to be idle. The effective channel monitoring mechanism can help the wireless communication equipment to avoid collision or interference when data transmission/channel access is performed, and the performance of the whole network is better improved. Therefore, CCA thresholds need to be tightly formulated to ensure that the channel can be used efficiently.
The dynamic CCA threshold adaptation methods proposed by the current large manufacturers and research institutions are generally as follows: 1. combining power control and CCA threshold detection to jointly optimize a current CCA threshold; 2. and according to the ratio of the target throughput of the base station to the average throughput of the base station monitored in real time, the current CCA is periodically adjusted in combination with the energy detection threshold range to determine a new CCA threshold.
The present inventors have found that in the process of implementing the present invention, the following technical problems exist in the prior art: because the channel state of the wireless communication environment is changed instantaneously, the existing dynamic CCA threshold adaptation method can avoid the idle channel meaninglessly, so that the opportunity of the wireless communication device to access the idle channel is reduced, and the idle channel utilization rate is influenced.

Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present invention will be made clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is apparent that the embodiments described are only some embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the invention without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart of a method for adjusting a clear channel assessment threshold according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. The adjustment method of the idle channel assessment threshold value comprises the following steps:
s10, when the preset time of the first timer reaches a first time threshold, acquiring the statistics of the physical layer error analysis.
The first time threshold is preset, and a numerical value is set according to practice or actual needs.
In addition, the error analysis refers to that after the physical layer performs preamble analysis of the wireless signal, the physical layer judges that the wireless signal belongs to a useless signal. Specifically, the physical layer has passed through the coarse synchronization process at the time of signal preamble parsing and has entered the following fine synchronization process, but finds that the signal is not a useful wireless signal (exemplified as WLAN signal) at the time of fine synchronization, and thus the synchronization fails. This is referred to as a physical layer error analysis. The physical layer error analysis statistics times in the embodiment of the invention only count the times that the physical layer has error analysis when analyzing the signal above the CCA threshold.
When the wireless communication device competes for a channel, if the physical layer detects that the signal power of the channel is above the CCA threshold corresponding to the channel, the device must enter into an evading procedure to wait for the channel to be idle. The CCA threshold may then greatly affect the chance of whether the device is able to occupy the channel. This CCA threshold adjustment may be adjusted based on statistics of the device physical layer over a period of time. Before introducing the adjustment strategy, the signal parsing process of the physical layer receiver is introduced.
When the physical layer analyzes the SIGNAL preamble information, the physical layer can go through the coarse synchronization process of the STF and the fine synchronization process of the LTF, and then analyze the SIGNAL domain of the SIGNAL; if a WLAN signal is acknowledged, the DATA field is continued, thus freeing the entire message. However, after performing the preamble analysis, the physical layer will determine whether this signal belongs to a useful WLAN signal or other unwanted interference signals. If other useless interference/noise causes that the coarse synchronization process of the physical layer passes, but the fine synchronization process (or the analysis process of the SIGNAL domain) cannot pass, the method is equivalent to that the physical layer performs an error preamble analysis work; at this time, the number of statistics of physical layer error analysis increases by 1. Thus, if the physical layer detects a signal above the CCA threshold on the idle channel, this is actually a noise signal. If the device can guarantee the signal-to-noise ratio by increasing the signal transmission power in the current state, the interference of noise can be ignored. Then, the previous circumvention procedure is unnecessary, and the device misses an opportunity to access the idle channel once, resulting in waste of air interface resources. Therefore, when designing the CCA threshold of the idle channel, the number of erroneous analysis times when the physical layer analyzes data above the CCA threshold of the idle channel is to be avoided.
And S11, adjusting a clear channel assessment CCA threshold according to the physical layer error analysis statistics times.
After knowing the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics and obtaining the noise condition of the real-time wireless communication environment of the wireless communication device, on the premise that the device can ensure the signal to noise ratio, the probability of the wireless communication device accessing the idle channel can be properly adjusted by adjusting the idle channel assessment CCA threshold to a value which is suitable for the current noise condition of the wireless communication environment according to the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics.
Note that, the CCA threshold mentioned in this embodiment is an energy detection threshold, and does not include a carrier sense threshold.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the time of the preset first timer reaches the first time threshold, the number of times of physical layer error analysis statistics is obtained, so that the noise condition of the real-time wireless communication environment of the wireless communication equipment is obtained; according to the number of times of error analysis statistics of the physical layer, the clear channel assessment CCA threshold is adjusted, so that the probability of the wireless communication equipment accessing the clear channel can be properly adjusted according to the noise condition of the real-time wireless communication environment, meaningless avoidance of the clear channel is not needed to be carried out excessively, and the utilization rate of the clear channel can be improved.
Specifically, after the step S11, the method further includes: resetting the first timer, clearing the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics, and then executing the next CCA threshold adjustment process (refer to step S10 and step S11). Wherein, adjusting the CCA threshold according to the number of physical layer error resolution statistics includes three cases: up-regulation, down-regulation and no regulation; the method comprises the following steps: greater than an upper threshold, up-regulating the CCA threshold; a lower CCA threshold is adjusted downward below the lower threshold; and, no adjustment is made between the two. The first timer is reset, whether up, down, or not, and the number of physical layer error resolution statistics is cleared (corresponding embodiments of adjusting the CCA threshold based on the number of physical layer error resolution statistics, described below, may be referred to herein).
Illustratively, the step S11 includes:
s110, when the number of times of error analysis statistics of the physical layer is larger than a preset number of times upper limit threshold, a CCA threshold is adjusted upwards;
s111, when the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics is smaller than a preset number of times lower limit threshold, a CCA threshold is set down; wherein the number of times upper threshold is greater than the number of times lower threshold.
In this embodiment, when the number of times of error analysis statistics in the physical layer is relatively large, it indicates that the noise existing in the current wireless communication environment greatly affects the probability of the current device accessing the channel, and on the premise that the device can ensure the signal-to-noise ratio, the device can access the channel to perform data transmission and reception; the CCA threshold may be suitably raised somewhat to reduce the probability of circumventing channel access. And when the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics is smaller, the current CCA threshold value is possibly not matched with the noise condition of the wireless communication environment, so that the CCA threshold value can be appropriately reduced to a certain extent, and the adjustment of the current channel access probability by the equipment can be adapted to the current noise environment state.
In the above embodiment, further, before the step S10, the method further includes:
s9, setting a plurality of CCA threshold levels in a preset CCA threshold level range; wherein the CCA threshold level range has at least two CCA threshold levels of different sizes, the CCA threshold level range being: a CCA threshold a-preset first adjustment value-a+ preset second adjustment value which is specified by a wireless network communication standard protocol and corresponds to a current channel. The setting of the CCA threshold level may be not only the automatic setting of the present apparatus, but also the predetermined setting of each level and the preset of each level into the present apparatus when leaving the factory, or the setting of each level and the preset of each level into the present wireless apparatus by the user, and the like, and is not particularly limited herein.
Then, the step S110 includes:
when the number of times of error analysis statistics of the physical layer is larger than a preset number of times upper limit threshold, the current CCA threshold is adjusted upwards by one grade;
the step S111 includes:
and when the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics is smaller than a preset number of times lower limit threshold, the current CCA threshold is adjusted down by one grade.
It will be appreciated that if the CCA threshold level is set too high, the probability of a device accessing the channel will increase, but will also result in an increased probability of a clear channel collision/collision. In this embodiment, when the number of times of error analysis statistics in the physical layer is relatively large, it indicates that the noise existing in the current wireless communication environment greatly affects the probability of the current device accessing the channel, and on the premise that the device can ensure the signal-to-noise ratio, the device can access the channel to perform data transmission and reception; the CCA threshold may be suitably increased by one level to reduce the probability of avoiding channel access. And when the number of times of the error analysis statistics of the physical layer is smaller, the current CCA threshold value is possibly not matched with the noise condition of the wireless communication environment, and then the CCA threshold value can be appropriately reduced by one level, so that the adjustment of the current channel access probability by the equipment can be adapted to the current noise environment state.
In this embodiment, specifically, since the CCA threshold is a standard for primarily determining whether the channel is idle by the physical layer, the threshold range of the CCA threshold level set above is not suitable to be too different from the CCA threshold specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol, otherwise, many incompatible chip schemes may be caused, so that a large number of channels collide and packet is lost. Accordingly, embodiments of the present invention provide for the marking of an optional CCA threshold adjustment range based on a CCA threshold level specified by a wireless network communication standard protocol, illustratively: a CCA threshold a±ndb (i.e., the first adjustment value is the same as the second adjustment value) corresponding to the current channel, which is specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol; then within this 2NdB range, one level is divided per MdB (M is less than N), and a total of (2N/M) levels are divided. It should be noted that the wireless network communication standard protocol refers to, in particular, a wireless network communication standard protocol supported by the present device chip scheme. It should be noted that, the values of the first adjustment value and the second adjustment value may be different, and the level ranges of each CCA threshold level may be the same or different. Illustratively, the wireless network communication standard protocol is the 802.11ac protocol.
Here, a CCA energy detection threshold a specified by the 802.11ac protocol is given by way of example:
table 1.802.11ac protocol specifies CCA energy detection thresholds for each bandwidth channel
Channel bandwidth | 20MHz | 40MHz | 80MHz |
CCA energy detection threshold | -62dBm | -59dBm | -56dBm |
Examples: at 20MHz bandwidth, the CCA sensitivity of the channel is: 62dBm, then within the range of [ -62-N, -62+N ], one level is divided per MdB, namely: -62-n+m, -62-n+2m, …, -62+n; these levels are the level options for which dynamic CCA threshold adjustments may be made next.
It will be appreciated that the chip scheme standard of the wireless communication device may be different, and the corresponding CCA sensitivity may be different, and the CCA threshold level is set according to the chip scheme standard of the wireless communication device in actual use.
By way of example:
at 20MHz bandwidth, a dynamically adjusted CCA range is limited to a range of [ -62-N, -62+n ] based on a CCA threshold specified by the 802.11ac protocol (exemplified by CCA energy detection threshold) -62dBm, with one rank per MdB, a total of 2N/M ranks being divided (in general, N and M are both set to even numbers, e.g., n=6, m=2, for ease of calculation); these levels are options that may be subsequently dynamically CCA threshold adjusted.
By default, the CCA threshold is-62 dBm, with a current level of 0. When the time of the first timer reaches a first time threshold, starting to check the number of times of the current physical layer error analysis, and once the number of times is larger than a preset upper limit threshold, adjusting the current CCA threshold level to be 1 level so as to raise the CCA threshold by one level, resetting the first timer and resetting the number of times of the physical layer error analysis; when the time of the next first timer reaches a first time threshold, continuing to judge, adjusting the CCA threshold level according to the judging result, resetting the first timer and clearing the number of times of physical layer error analysis after the CCA threshold level is adjusted; the highest CCA level is the N/M level. Conversely, when the time of the first timer reaches a first time threshold, the physical layer error analysis frequency of the current channel is found to be smaller than a preset frequency lower limit threshold, the current CCA threshold level corresponding to the current channel is adjusted to be-1 level, so that the CCA threshold is lowered by one level, then the first timer is reset, and the physical layer error analysis frequency is cleared; when the time of the next first timer reaches the first time threshold, the judgment is continued once. It can be understood that, when the time threshold of the timer arrives each time, whether the CCA threshold is adjusted or not, the current number of times of physical layer error analysis is cleared to perform the next judgment and adjustment.
Wherein, the wireless signal level of the current channel cannot be well reflected only according to the physical layer error detection rate of the transmitting end. If the current noise is large and hidden nodes are also large, the CCA threshold is simply raised, so that the wireless communication equipment can disregard other terminals which are normally transmitting signals on the channel, collision and interference are caused when the channel is accessed, the communication quality of the wireless communication equipment is affected, and the normal communication order of the current system is interfered. Therefore, in the following embodiment of the present invention, the data packet loss rate is also introduced as a measurement basis to assist in dynamically adjusting the CCA threshold.
Illustratively, the method further comprises:
s12, when the preset time of the second timer reaches a second time threshold value, acquiring a packet loss rate; the second time threshold is less than the first time threshold;
and S13, adjusting a clear channel assessment CCA threshold according to the packet loss rate.
In the embodiment of the invention, the CCA threshold is adjusted by combining the data packet loss rate, so that the interference of the hidden node on the wireless communication work of the device can be reduced.
Specifically, the adjusting the clear channel assessment CCA threshold according to the packet loss rate includes:
and when the current CCA threshold is larger than the CCA threshold corresponding to the current channel specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol, and when the packet loss rate is larger than the packet loss rate threshold, the CCA threshold is downwards regulated.
The packet loss rate is used as a criterion for reducing the CCA threshold value, and is not used as a criterion for improving the CCA threshold value. Namely: if the current CCA threshold is smaller than the standard specified by the wireless communication protocol, there is no need to adjust the CCA threshold by the size of the packet loss rate. The wireless network communication standard protocol particularly refers to a wireless network communication standard protocol supported by the chip scheme of the device.
Illustratively, it is assumed that the Threshold value of the given packet loss rate is per_threshold, and the polling period of the packet loss rate is poll_period_t2 (i.e., the timing duration of the second timer). In the initial state, per_threshold=0, poll_period_t2=0. If the current CCA threshold level is greater than 0, the data transmitting end counts the number of the received ACKs when transmitting data, and is used for counting the packet loss rate; at the same time, the second timer starts counting. When the poll_t2 reaches the second time Threshold, checking whether the current packet loss rate is greater than the per_threshold; and if the current data packet loss rate is greater than PER_Threshold, the CCA Threshold is lowered, and meanwhile, the packet loss rate is cleared and the second timer is reset. It will be appreciated that lowering the CCA threshold in this embodiment means lowering it by one level. When the second timer reaches the timing time each time, the second timer is reset and the packet loss rate is cleared to perform the next judgment and adjustment.
Further, the method further comprises:
setting a buffer factor;
before the adjusting the clear channel assessment CCA threshold according to the number of physical layer error resolution statistics, the method further includes:
inquiring whether the value of the buffer factor is zero or not; if not, the current buffer factor is subjected to self-subtraction; if yes, executing the step of adjusting the clear channel assessment CCA threshold according to the physical layer error analysis statistics;
when the current CCA threshold is greater than the CCA threshold corresponding to the current channel specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol, and when the packet loss rate is greater than the packet loss rate threshold, after the CCA threshold is adjusted downwards, the method further comprises:
resetting the value of the current buffer factor to a preset buffer value.
Since the above embodiment uses different decision criteria (one is the number of times of error resolution and the other is the data packet loss rate), oscillations in the algorithm adjustment process may occur, which may cause variation of the CCA threshold to fluctuate. Thus, embodiments of the present invention slow this process by using the buffer factor β.
Illustratively, the value of the buffer factor β is initialized to 0 and the buffer value is 0. In general, the CCA adjustment procedure described above is normally performed as long as β is 0. If, due to the packet loss, a CCA threshold callback is caused, the value of the buffer factor β is reset to a preset buffer value uβ (e.g., uβ=3). At this time, since β is not 0, the CCA threshold adjustment process is suspended. Wherein, every time a timing period of a first timer passes, beta is subtracted by 1; the CCA threshold adjustment is not started again until β decreases to 0.
Referring to fig. 2, a schematic structural diagram of an adjustment device for clear channel assessment threshold according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. The device comprises:
the information acquisition module is used for acquiring the number of times of physical layer error analysis statistics when the time of the preset first timer reaches a first time threshold; the error analysis means that after the physical layer performs preamble analysis of the wireless signal, the physical layer judges that the wireless signal belongs to a useless signal;
and the first CCA threshold adjusting module is used for adjusting the clear channel assessment CCA threshold according to the physical layer error analysis statistics.
As an improvement of the above solution, the first CCA threshold adjustment module includes:
the first adjusting unit is used for adjusting the CCA threshold upwards when the number of times of error analysis statistics of the physical layer is larger than a preset number upper limit threshold;
