Description

Method, device and equipment for adjusting idle channel assessment threshold and readable storage medium
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, a device, and a readable storage medium for adjusting an idle channel assessment threshold.
Background
Currently, in a wireless communication network, both data transceivers need to continuously monitor a channel before communicating on an access channel, and the monitoring duration is DIFS (Distributed Coordination Function Inter-frame Space). If the wireless communication device considers the monitored channel as an idle state in the monitoring time, the currently monitored channel can be accessed to perform data transmission after the DIFS is finished. Wherein CCA (clear channel assignment) is an identifier used to decide whether a channel is busy or idle before a wireless device accesses the channel. When a wireless communication device wants to access a channel, if the physical layer of the device detects that the signal power on the channel is above the CCA threshold, the device must enter an avoidance procedure to wait for the channel to be idle. The effective channel monitoring mechanism can help the wireless communication equipment avoid collision or interference during data transmission/channel access, and the performance of the whole network is better improved. Therefore, the CCA threshold needs to be strictly established to ensure that the channel can be effectively utilized.
The dynamic CCA threshold adaptation methods proposed by various manufacturers and research institutions are generally: 1. combining power control and CCA threshold detection together to jointly optimize a current CCA threshold; 2. and periodically adjusting the current CCA according to the ratio of the target throughput of the base station and the average throughput of the base station monitored in real time and in combination with the energy detection threshold range to determine a new CCA threshold.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for adjusting an idle channel estimation threshold according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method for adjusting the idle channel assessment threshold comprises the following steps:
and S10, when the time of the preset first timer reaches the first time threshold, acquiring the physical layer error analysis statistical times.
Wherein the first time threshold is preset, and a value is set according to practice or actual needs.
The error analysis is performed by the physical layer to determine whether the radio signal is an unwanted signal after the physical layer performs preamble analysis of the radio signal. Specifically, when the physical layer performs preamble parsing, the coarse synchronization process passes and enters the following fine synchronization process, but the signal is found to be not a useful wireless signal (for example, a WLAN signal) during fine synchronization, and thus synchronization fails. In this case, it is referred to as a physical layer error analysis. The physical layer error analysis counting times in the embodiment of the invention only counts the times of error analysis when the physical layer analyzes the signal above the CCA threshold.
When a wireless communication device contends for a channel, if a physical layer detects that the signal power of the channel is above a CCA threshold corresponding to the channel, the device must enter an avoidance procedure to wait for the channel to be idle. Then, the CCA threshold may greatly affect the chance of whether a device can occupy the channel. The adjustment of the CCA threshold may be adjusted according to statistics of the physical layer of the device over a period of time. Before introducing the adjustment strategy, a signal analysis process of the physical layer receiver is introduced.
When the physical layer analyzes the SIGNAL preamble information, the physical layer can analyze the SIGNAL domain of the SIGNAL through a coarse synchronization process of the STF and a fine synchronization process of the LTF; if a WLAN signal is acknowledged, the DATA field will continue, thereby resolving the entire message. However, after preamble analysis, the physical layer determines whether the signal is a useful WLAN signal or other unwanted interference signal. If the coarse synchronization process of the physical layer passes and the fine synchronization process (or the analysis process of the SIGNAL domain) cannot pass due to other useless interference/noise, it is equivalent to that the physical layer does an erroneous preamble analysis work; at this time, the statistical number of physical layer error analyses is increased by 1. Thus, if the physical layer finds that a clear channel detects a signal above the CCA threshold, this is in fact a noise signal. If the device can guarantee the signal-to-noise ratio by increasing the signal transmission power in the current state, the interference of noise can be ignored. Then, the previous evasive procedure is unnecessary, and the device misses a chance of accessing an idle channel, resulting in waste of air interface resources. Therefore, when designing the CCA threshold of the idle channel, it is to avoid that the number of times of error analysis is too high when the physical layer analyzes data above the CCA threshold of the idle channel.
And S11, adjusting the CCA threshold value according to the physical layer error analysis statistic times.
After the noise condition of the real-time wireless communication environment of the wireless communication equipment is obtained by obtaining the physical layer error analysis statistics times, the probability that the wireless communication equipment accesses the idle channel can be properly adjusted by adjusting the clear channel assessment CCA threshold to a value which is adaptive to the noise condition of the current wireless communication environment according to the physical layer error analysis statistics times on the premise that the equipment can guarantee the signal to noise ratio.
It should be noted that, the CCA threshold mentioned in this embodiment is an energy detection threshold, and does not include a carrier sense threshold.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the time of a preset first timer reaches a first time threshold, the number of times of error analysis and statistics of a physical layer is acquired, so that the noise condition of the real-time wireless communication environment of the wireless communication equipment is obtained; and adjusting the CCA threshold value according to the physical layer error analysis statistical times, so that the probability of the wireless communication equipment accessing the idle channel can be properly adjusted according to the real-time noise condition of the wireless communication environment, and the idle channel does not need to be excessively meaninglessly avoided, thereby improving the utilization rate of the idle channel.
Specifically, after the step S11, the method further includes: the first timer is reset, the physical layer error resolution statistics number is cleared, and then the next CCA threshold adjustment process is executed (please refer to steps S10 and S11). The adjustment of the CCA threshold according to the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics includes three conditions: up-regulation, down-regulation and no regulation; the method comprises the following steps: if the CCA threshold value is larger than the upper limit threshold value, the CCA threshold value is adjusted upwards; adjusting the CCA threshold downwards when the CCA threshold is smaller than the lower limit threshold; and, no adjustment is made between the two. The first timer is reset whether the adjustment is performed up, down, or not, and the physical layer error resolution statistics is cleared (the following corresponding embodiments for adjusting the CCA threshold according to the physical layer error resolution statistics may refer to the description herein).
Exemplarily, the step S11 includes:
s110, when the physical layer error analysis statistical times are larger than a preset upper limit threshold of times, adjusting a CCA threshold;
s111, when the physical layer error analysis statistical frequency is smaller than a preset lower frequency threshold, lowering a CCA threshold; wherein the number upper threshold is greater than the number lower threshold.
In this embodiment, when the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics is large, it indicates that the noise existing in the current wireless communication environment greatly affects the probability of accessing the channel by the current device, and the device can completely access the channel to receive and transmit data on the premise of ensuring the signal-to-noise ratio; the CCA threshold may be raised appropriately by some to reduce the probability of circumventing channel access. And when the number of times of the physical layer error resolution statistics is relatively small, which indicates that the current CCA threshold may not match with the noise condition of the wireless communication environment, the CCA threshold may be appropriately lowered by a few, so that the device can adapt to the current noise environment state according to the adjustment of the current channel access probability.
In the above embodiment, further before the step S10, the method further includes:
s9, setting a plurality of CCA threshold levels in a preset CCA threshold level range; wherein the CCA threshold level range has at least two CCA threshold levels of different sizes, and the CCA threshold level range is: the CCA threshold value a-a preset first adjusting value-a + a preset second adjusting value which is specified by a wireless network communication standard protocol and corresponds to the current channel. It should be noted that, the setting of the CCA threshold level may be, in addition to being automatically set by the device, each level may be predefined and preset in the device when the device leaves a factory, or each level may be set by a user and preset in the wireless device, and the like, and is not limited specifically herein.
Then, the step S110 includes:
when the physical layer error analysis statistical times are larger than a preset upper limit threshold of times, the current CCA threshold is adjusted up by one grade;
the step S111 includes:
and when the physical layer error analysis statistical times are smaller than a preset lower threshold of times, adjusting the current CCA threshold down by one grade.
It will be appreciated that if the CCA threshold level is set too high, although the probability of a device accessing the channel will increase, it will also result in an increased probability of a clear channel collision/collision. In this embodiment, when the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics is large, it indicates that the noise existing in the current wireless communication environment greatly affects the probability of accessing the channel by the current device, and the device can completely access the channel to receive and transmit data on the premise of ensuring the signal-to-noise ratio; the CCA threshold may be increased by a suitable amount to reduce the probability of circumventing channel access. And when the number of times of the physical layer error resolution statistics is less, which indicates that the current CCA threshold may not match with the noise condition of the wireless communication environment, the CCA threshold may be appropriately lowered by one level, so that the device can adjust the current channel access probability to adapt to the current noise environment state.
In this embodiment, specifically, the CCA threshold is a standard for the physical layer to preliminarily determine whether the channel is idle, so that the threshold range of the set CCA threshold level is not suitable to be too different from the CCA threshold specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol, otherwise, many chip schemes are incompatible, and a large amount of channel collisions and packet losses are caused. Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention provides that an optional CCA threshold adjustment range is marked on the basis of a CCA threshold level specified by a wireless network communication standard protocol, and examples include: the CCA threshold a ± NdB corresponding to the current channel specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol (i.e. the first adjustment value is the same as the second adjustment value); then within this 2NdB range, one grade is divided per MdB (M is less than N), for a total of (2N/M) grades. It should be noted that the wireless network communication standard protocol particularly refers to a wireless network communication standard protocol supported by the chip scheme of the device. It should be noted that, the first adjustment value and the second adjustment value may also have different values, and the size of the level range of each CCA threshold level may also be the same or different. Illustratively, the wireless network communication standard protocol is an 802.11ac protocol.
The CCA energy detection threshold a specified by the 802.11ac protocol is given here by way of example:
table 1.802.11ac protocol specifies CCA energy detection thresholds for various bandwidth channels
Channel bandwidth 20MHz 40MHz 80MHz
CCA energy detection threshold -62dBm -59dBm -56dBm
Examples are: at 20MHz bandwidth, the CCA sensitivity of the channel is: 62dBm, then in the range of [ -62-N, -62 + N ], one level is divided per MdB, i.e.: -62-N + M, -62-N +2M, …, -62 + N; these levels are the level options that may be followed for dynamic CCA threshold adjustment.
It is understood that the chip schemes of the wireless communication devices are different in standards, and may correspond to different CCA sensitivities, and the CCA threshold level is set according to the chip scheme standard of the wireless communication device in practical use.
By way of example:
under the bandwidth of 20MHz, based on a CCA threshold (for example, a CCA energy detection threshold) specified by an 802.11ac protocol, namely-62 dBm, a dynamically adjusted CCA range is limited to a range of [ -62-N, -62 + N ], a grade is divided every MdB, and 2N/M grades are divided in total (generally, for convenience of calculation, N and M are both set to be even numbers, for example, N is 6, and M is 2); these levels are options for the dynamic CCA threshold adjustment that may follow.
By default, the CCA threshold is-62 dBm, with the current level being level 0. When the time of the first timer reaches a first time threshold, starting to check the current times of physical layer error analysis, once the times is greater than a preset times upper limit threshold, adjusting the current CCA threshold level to 1 level, so as to increase the CCA threshold by one level, then resetting the first timer and clearing the times of physical layer error analysis; when the time of the next first timer reaches a first time threshold, continuing to judge, adjusting the grade of the CCA threshold according to a judgment result, resetting the first timer and clearing the error analysis times of the physical layer after the grade of the CCA threshold is adjusted; the highest CCA rating is N/M. On the contrary, when the time of the first timer reaches the first time threshold, if the physical layer error analysis frequency of the current channel is found to be smaller than the preset lower frequency threshold, the current CCA threshold level corresponding to the current channel is adjusted to be-1 level, so that the CCA threshold is lowered by one level, and then the first timer is reset and the physical layer error analysis frequency is cleared; and when the time of the first timer reaches the first time threshold value next time, continuing the judgment once. It can be understood that, each time the time threshold of the timer is reached, whether the CCA threshold is adjusted or not, the current physical layer error analysis number is cleared to perform the next determination and adjustment.
The wireless signal level of the current channel can be well reflected only according to the error detection rate of the physical layer of the transmitting end. If the current noise is large and the number of hidden nodes is large, simply increasing the CCA threshold makes the wireless communication device disregard other terminals that are transmitting signals on the channel normally, causing collision and interference when the channel is accessed, which affects the communication quality of the wireless communication device itself and also interferes the normal communication order of the current system. Therefore, the following embodiments of the present invention further introduce a data packet loss rate as a measure to assist the dynamic adjustment of the CCA threshold.
Illustratively, the method further comprises:
s12, when the time of the preset second timer reaches a second time threshold, acquiring the packet loss rate; the second time threshold is less than the first time threshold;
and S13, adjusting the CCA threshold value according to the packet loss rate.
In the embodiment of the invention, the CCA threshold is adjusted by combining the data packet loss rate, so that the interference of the hidden node on the wireless communication work of the equipment can be reduced.
Specifically, the adjusting the CCA threshold for clear channel assessment according to the packet loss rate includes:
and when the current CCA threshold is larger than a CCA threshold corresponding to the current channel and specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol, and when the packet loss rate is larger than the packet loss rate threshold, the CCA threshold is adjusted downwards.
The packet loss rate is used as a criterion for reducing the CCA threshold, but not used as a standard for increasing the CCA threshold. Namely: if the current CCA threshold is smaller than the standard specified by the wireless communication protocol, the CCA threshold does not need to be adjusted by the packet loss rate. The wireless network communication standard protocol particularly refers to a wireless network communication standard protocol supported by the chip scheme of the equipment.
Illustratively, assuming that the Threshold value of the packet loss rate is PER _ Threshold, the polling period of the packet loss rate is Poll _ period _ T2 (i.e., the timing duration of the second timer). In the initial state, PER _ Threshold is 0, and Poll _ period _ T2 is 0. If the current CCA threshold level is greater than 0, the data sending end can count the number of received ACKs while sending data so as to count the packet loss rate; at the same time, the second timer starts timing. When Poll _ period _ T2 reaches the second time Threshold, it needs to check whether the current packet loss rate is greater than PER _ Threshold; if the current data packet loss rate is greater than PER _ Threshold, the CCA Threshold is reduced, and the packet loss rate is cleared and the second timer is reset at the same time. It is understood that, in this embodiment, the adjustment of the CCA threshold downward means that the CCA threshold is adjusted downward by one level. It should be noted that, when the second timer reaches the timing time each time, the second timer is reset and the packet loss rate is cleared, so as to perform the next judgment and adjustment.
Further, the method further comprises:
setting a buffer factor;
before the adjusting the clear channel assessment CCA threshold according to the number of times of the physical layer error resolution statistics, the method further includes:
inquiring whether the numerical value of the buffer factor is zero; if not, performing self-subtraction on the current buffer factor; if yes, executing the step of adjusting the CCA threshold value according to the number of times of the physical layer error analysis statistics;
when the current CCA threshold is greater than the CCA threshold corresponding to the current channel specified by the wireless network communication standard protocol, and when the packet loss rate is greater than the packet loss rate threshold, after the CCA threshold is adjusted downward, the method further includes:
the value of the current buffer factor is reset to the preset buffer value.
Since the above embodiment uses different decision criteria (one is the number of times of incorrect analysis, and the other is the data packet loss rate), oscillation may occur in the process of adjusting the algorithm, which may cause a fluctuation in the CCA threshold. Thus, embodiments of the present invention slow this process by using the buffer factor β.
Illustratively, the value of the buffer factor β is initialized to 0 and the buffer value is 0. In general, as long as β is 0, the CCA adjustment procedure described above will proceed normally. If the CCA threshold value is adjusted back due to the packet loss rate, the value of the buffering factor β is reset to the preset buffering value U β (for example, U β ═ 3). At this time, since β is not 0, the CCA threshold adjustment process is suspended. Wherein, every time a timing period of the first timer passes, the beta is automatically reduced by 1; the CCA threshold adjustment is not started again until β decreases to 0.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of an apparatus for adjusting an idle channel estimation threshold according to an embodiment of the present invention. The device comprises:
