Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
In making the description of the embodiments of the present invention, some concepts used in the following description will first be explained.
For an idle terminal, it needs to camp in a cell, so as to receive a paging message from a network side, and initiate a connection establishment procedure in the camped cell. And the process of finding the resident cell comprises the following steps:
cell selection and cell reselection.
Cell selection is used for the terminal to select a cell where it can camp on when the cell is not already camped on. The cell selection criterion is called S-criterion, and when the channel quality of a certain cell meets the S-criterion, the cell can be selected as a camping cell.
The cell reselection is used for changing a terminal into a cell which can be resided due to movement under the condition that the terminal already has the cell which can be resided; the cell reselection comprises the following steps:
reselecting different-frequency cells with the same frequency and the same priority;
and (4) reselecting the pilot frequency cells with different priorities.
And for the pilot frequency cell reselection with the same frequency and priority, the R criterion is adopted.
For 'different priority pilot frequency cell reselection', according to the priority order configured by the network, when the S value (e.g. cell selection received signal quality (Squal) or cell selection received signal strength (Srxlev)) of the high priority frequency cell is greater than the threshold (e.g. Thresh) configured by the networkX,HighQOr ThreshX,HighP) And the duration exceeds a network configured threshold (e.g., Treselection)RAT) Then the terminal reselects to the high priority frequency cell.
The invention provides a terminal residing method and a terminal, aiming at the problem that the cell in which the terminal resides can not be guaranteed to be the cell in the network to which the terminal wants to access in the prior art.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a terminal residing method, which is applied to a terminal, and includes:
step 101, setting a selection criterion of cell selection and/or cell reselection according to network parameters;
in particular, the selection criteria include: at least one of priority information of the network and a usage restriction condition of the network; the network parameters include: at least one of a network identification and a network type.
And 102, selecting or reselecting the cell according to the selection criterion.
It should be noted that, in the embodiments of the present invention, the selection criterion for cell selection and/or cell reselection is set according to at least one of the network identifier and the network type, that is, the selection criterion is set according to the network dimension, so that it can be ensured that the terminal selects or reselects to a specific network for camping according to the network dimension.
It is further specified that the network type comprises at least one of:
a11, public network;
for example, a network with a PLMN id MCC that does not take on the value of 999.
A12, private network;
for example, a network with a PLMN id MCC of 999 values.
A13, presetting an access group network;
the default Access Group network refers to a specific Access Group network, for example, a specific Access Group 1 (e.g., CAG-1(Closed Access Group) under the public network 1.
Further, the network identification comprises at least one of:
a21, public area mobile network (PLMN) identification;
a22, readable network name;
for example, "a factory network"
A23, presetting access group identification.
It is further noted that, in case the selection criterion comprises priority information of the network, the priority information comprises at least one of:
a11, setting the target parameter corresponding to the first network as a high priority;
it should be noted that the first network in the embodiment of the present invention refers to a network in which the terminal is interested (the network in which the terminal is interested refers to a network that the terminal needs to access or a network that the terminal wants to access), that is, which network the terminal wants to access, the network is regarded as the network in which the terminal is interested. The target parameters include: at least one of a frequency point and a cell; for example, a frequency point corresponding to a network in which the terminal is interested is set to be a high priority; or, setting a cell corresponding to a network in which the terminal is interested as a high priority; or, setting the frequency point and the cell corresponding to the network in which the terminal is interested as a high priority.
A12, setting the target parameter corresponding to the second network as low priority;
it should be noted that the second network in the embodiment of the present invention refers to a network that is not interested by the terminal, for example, a frequency point corresponding to the network that is not interested by the terminal is set to be a low priority; or setting a cell corresponding to a network in which the terminal is not interested as a low priority; or setting the frequency point and the cell corresponding to the network which is not interested by the terminal as the low priority.
Further, in this case, the selection criterion further comprises: the terminal uses the duration of the priority information; the duration is configured by the network side device or agreed by the protocol.
Specifically, when the selection criteria include: setting a target parameter corresponding to a first network as a high priority, further setting the target parameter corresponding to the first network as a duration of the high priority, for example, setting a frequency point 1 corresponding to an NPN-1 network as the high priority, and additionally setting the duration of the frequency point 1 as the high priority as 1 minute, and after 1 minute, canceling the high priority setting of the frequency point 1 by the terminal. Specifically, when the selection criteria include: setting a target parameter corresponding to a second network as a low priority, further setting the target parameter corresponding to the second network as a duration of the low priority, for example, setting a frequency point 1 corresponding to an NPN-2 network as a low priority frequency point, and additionally setting the frequency point 1 as the low priority frequency point for 1 minute, and after 1 minute, canceling the low priority setting of the frequency point 1 by the UE.
In the above case, the terminal preferentially selects the cell under the first network for camping on. Therefore, the cell where the terminal resides is the cell under the network expected to be accessed, and the terminal is ensured to transmit and receive data in the network expected to be accessed.
Optionally, when the selection criteria include: when the network uses the qualification, the qualification includes: and setting the target parameter corresponding to the second network as the access prohibition.
That is, the terminal sets at least one of the frequency point and the cell corresponding to the network that is not interested as forbidden access, and further, in this case, the selection criterion further includes: and the terminal forbids to access the duration of the target parameter corresponding to the second network, wherein the duration is configured by the network side equipment or agreed by the protocol.
For example, an NPN-1 network is a network in which a terminal is not interested, and a frequency point 1 corresponding to the NPN-1 network is set as a frequency point to which access is prohibited, and additionally, the duration of the setting of the frequency point 1 as access prohibition may be 1 minute, and a cell corresponding to the frequency point 1 is not considered when the terminal selects or reselects a residential cell within 1 minute; after 1 minute, the terminal cancels the forbidden access setting of the frequency point 1.
Optionally, when the selection criteria include: a usage restriction condition of the network, the usage restriction condition comprising: when the terminal resides in a cell of the second network and searches for at least one of a frequency point and a cell corresponding to the first network, specifically, the implementation manner of step 102 is:
and after the terminal searches at least one of the frequency point and the cell corresponding to the first network, selecting or reselecting the frequency point or the cell corresponding to the first network.
It should be noted that, as long as the terminal resides in a network that is not interested, after the terminal searches for a network that is interested, the terminal needs to select or reselect to the network that is interested for residence, and the terminal does not consider the frequency point and/or the priority of the cell specified by the network side in the selection or reselection (that is, the terminal ignores the frequency point and/or the priority of the cell specified by the network side).
For example, when the terminal camps in a cell of a network that the terminal is not interested in, the terminal continues to search for a frequency point and/or a cell corresponding to the network that the terminal is interested in. Additionally, the terminal may select or reselect the frequency point or the cell corresponding to the network of interest after searching the frequency point and/or the cell corresponding to the network of interest, in this case, for example, after the network-side device specifies the priority of the specific frequency point, the terminal may select to ignore the priority of the specific frequency point specified by the network-side device.
Optionally, when the selection criteria include: a usage restriction condition of the network, the usage restriction condition comprising: when the terminal resides in a cell of a first network, at least one of a frequency point and a cell corresponding to a second network is not searched, that is, when the terminal resides in a cell of an interested network, the terminal does not search a frequency point and/or a cell corresponding to a non-interested network in order to save power consumption of the terminal.
Optionally, when the selection criteria include: a usage restriction condition of the network, the usage restriction condition comprising: in the case that the terminal resides in a cell of a first network, searching for at least one of a frequency point and a cell corresponding to a second network, specifically, the implementation manner of step 102 is: after the terminal searches at least one of a frequency point and a cell corresponding to the second network, cell selection or reselection is carried out;
wherein the cell selection or reselection range does not include: and at least one of a frequency point and a cell corresponding to the second network.
That is to say, when the terminal resides in a cell of an interested network, the terminal may also search for a frequency point and/or a cell corresponding to a network that is not interested, but after searching for a frequency point or a cell corresponding to a network that is not interested, the terminal may not select or reselect a frequency point or a cell corresponding to a network that is not interested; in this case, the terminal may not consider the frequency point and/or the priority of the cell specified by the network side device (i.e., the terminal ignores the frequency point and/or the priority of the cell specified by the network side device).
Optionally, in order to ensure that the terminal can acquire the related network information, before step 101, in the embodiment of the present invention, the method further includes: acquiring target information corresponding to a target network in a preset mode;
specifically, the target network includes: at least one of a first network and a second network; the target information includes: at least one of frequency point information and cell information.
Wherein the preset mode comprises at least one of the following modes:
b11, obtaining the history information;
for example, the terminal may store the frequency point or cell of the previously accessed NPN network 1, and the terminal acquires the frequency point information or cell information corresponding to the relevant network from the stored information.

specifically, the target network includes: for example, the terminal may acquire the frequency point information or the cell information corresponding to the NPN network 1 from the network side device.

B14, obtaining the location information when updating the location with the target network;
for example, when the terminal performs location Update with the NPN network 1 (e.g., a Tracking Area Update (TAU) procedure), the terminal may acquire frequency point information or cell information corresponding to the NPN network 1 from the network side device.
B15, obtaining the information through the system information of the network side equipment or the preset signaling notification;
for example, the System Information may be a System Information Block (SIB); the preset signaling may be a Radio Resource Control (RRC) release message.
Specifically, the target information includes: at least one of a network identification and a network type, that is, the target information is indicated with the network identification and/or the network type.
Optionally, the target information further includes: at least one of a frequency point identification and a cell identification.
For example, the target information includes: when the frequency point information is obtained, the target information generally includes the following information:
a network identification and/or a network type;
and identifying frequency points.
