Background
In the process that the cigarette packet is conveyed by the conveying equipment, the surface in contact with the surface of the conveying equipment cannot realize the appearance detection function. If the surface has an appearance problem, a defective product may be produced because it is not found. In the prior art, most of the cigarette packet appearance detection devices adopt an external industrial personal computer and a single chip microcomputer to realize the appearance detection functions of the front, rear, left, right and upper side surfaces of the cigarette packet, and the special industrial personal computer adopted by the device occupies a large space, is poor in installation manufacturability and reliability and is large in maintenance workload. On the other hand, the cigarette packet appearance detection device in the prior art has the defects of insufficient functions, unsafe operation and inconvenience.

and removing tobacco packets which do not meet the detection requirements according to the identification result of the industrial camera.

Fig. 1 is a schematic structural view of some embodiments of the cigarette packet appearance detecting device according to the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 1 in conjunction with fig. 2-5, in some embodiments, the cigarette packet appearance detecting device includes: tobacco bale tilting mechanism 10, industrial camera 20, rejection mechanism 40 and controller 30. In some embodiments, the industrial camera 20 may employ a Mindvision Smart CCD camera.
The rejecting mechanism 40 is located at the side of the conveying path of the cigarette packet, is located at the downstream of the cigarette packet turning mechanism 10 and the industrial camera 20, and is configured to reject the cigarette packet. The rejecting mechanism 40 may reject the cigarette packet by a contact or non-contact manner, for example, the cigarette packet is separated from the current conveying path by an electric push rod, a pneumatic push rod, a high-pressure air valve, or the like.
The controller 30 is in signal connection with the industrial camera 20 and the rejecting mechanism 40, and is configured to cause the rejecting mechanism 40 to reject cigarette packets which do not meet the detection requirement according to the recognition result of the industrial camera 20. In some embodiments, the controller may be a programmable logic controller, such as a Micro II control system.

A barcode identifier 50 is in signal connection with the controller 30 and is configured to identify a barcode in the first supporting contact surface 71 of a cigarette packet in the second flipped position. The barcode identifier 50 may be disposed adjacent to the industrial camera or integrally with the industrial camera as a component of the industrial camera. A display screen 60 may be in signal connection with the industrial camera 20, configured to present an original image or a processed image of the cigarette pack. In other embodiments, display screen 60 may also be in signal communication with controller 30 for presentation based on images associated with the cigarette packets provided by controller 30 or parameters associated with processing or testing.
In order to protect the respective working safety of the industrial camera and the controller, in some embodiments, the controller 30 is connected to the industrial camera 20 through an opto-coupler, and input and output isolation is achieved through the opto-coupler, so that interference on the other side when a line overload occurs at any one end is avoided.

The image superposition analysis module 23 may divide the tobacco bale image into a plurality of regions through at least one of a cross line, an automatic exposure reference window and a white balance reference window, and count the RGB value and the luminance value of each region respectively, and adjust the color brightness and the balance of the tobacco bale image through these statistical information, so as to obtain a tobacco bale image with higher quality.
The image storage module 24 is in signal connection with the image superimposing module and the image processing module 22. The image storage module 24 may be implemented by using an existing hard disk memory, such as an SSD hard disk. The image storage module 24 can store at least one of the cigarette packet image processed by the image processing module 22 and the cigarette packet image superimposed by the image superimposing module.
The image judging module 25 is in signal connection with the image storage module 24. The image judgment module 25 extracts the characteristic value of the tobacco bale image, and determines whether the tobacco bale image meets the detection requirement and the defect type of the tobacco bale image which does not meet the detection requirement by comparing the characteristic value with the items in the preset defect image database. The defect image database can be stored in the SSD hard disk, and the feature vectors corresponding to a plurality of defect types can be stored in the database so as to conveniently determine the defect types through comparison.
To facilitate the understanding of the defective position of the cigarette packet by the equipment operator, referring to fig. 5, in some embodiments, the industrial camera 20 further comprises a defect label adding module 26. The defect mark adding module 26 is in signal connection with the image judging module 25, and is configured to add a mark to a defect portion in the cigarette packet image.
The embodiment of the cigarette packet appearance detection device can be suitable for multiple links in the field of tobacco production, such as a cigarette packet packaging link. Correspondingly, the embodiment of the disclosure also provides a cigarette packet packaging machine, which comprises any one of the embodiments of the cigarette packet appearance detection device.
Based on the cigarette packet appearance detection device, the embodiment of the disclosure also provides a corresponding detection method. Fig. 6 is a schematic flow chart diagram of some embodiments of a detection method according to the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 6, the detection method includes:
step 100, turning the cigarette packet in the first turning position to a second turning position, wherein a first supporting contact surface 71 of the cigarette packet in the first turning position is vertical to a second supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet in the second turning position;
step 200, collecting, analyzing and comparing cigarette packet images of the first supporting contact surface 71 of the cigarette packet at the second overturning position to determine whether the appearance of the cigarette packet in the cigarette packet images meets the detection requirement;
and step 300, removing tobacco packets which do not meet the detection requirements according to the recognition result of the industrial camera 20.
Referring to fig. 7, in the above embodiment, the operation of acquiring, analyzing and comparing the cigarette packet image of the first supporting contact surface 71 of the cigarette packet in the second turnover position in step 200 may include:
step 201, loading and initializing a Software Development Kit (SDK) of the industrial camera 20; in this operation, a dynamic link library (e.g., mvaamddk. dll) in the SDK may be loaded and initialized by calling the CameraSdkInit function.
Step 202, calling an enumeration function to obtain a device list of the currently connected industrial camera 20; in this operation, an enumeration function (e.g., a CameraEnumerateDevice function) may be invoked to obtain a device list, which may include information such as a device name, a version number, a unique serial number, a camera model, and the like.
Step 203, initializing the industrial cameras 20 in the device list; in this operation, a camera initialization function (e.g., CamaraInit function) may be invoked to initialize the camera and obtain a handle for the camera.
Step 204, enabling the industrial camera 20 to enter a working mode, and enabling the software development kit to receive the image acquired by the industrial camera 20; in this operation, the CameraPlay function may be invoked to place the camera in an operational mode.
Step 205, triggering cigarette packet image acquisition operation in each process step period through the industrial camera 20; the industrial camera 20 may be edge triggered as a trigger condition, i.e. the industrial camera acquires one frame of image when a valid edge trigger signal is received. Each effective edge trigger signal corresponds to the acquisition and output of one frame of image, and repeated trigger signals are ignored before the acquisition of the previous frame of image is not finished. For example, calling the CameraGetImageBuffer function to acquire a frame of image.
Step 206, performing at least one of color gain adjustment, white balance correction, saturation adjustment, color lookup table conversion and noise reduction on the cigarette packet image acquired by the photographing module 21, and converting an original format (such as YUV or Bayer format) of the cigarette packet image into a bitmap format; in this step, a corresponding processing function (e.g., a CameraImageProcess function) may be selectively called according to the actual situation of the image to obtain a desired processing effect.
Step 207, superposing at least one of a cross line, an automatic exposure reference window and a white balance reference window on the processed cigarette packet image to determine a region to be analyzed in the cigarette packet image; in this operation, an image overlay function (e.g., a CameraImageOverlay function) may be employed to implement a crosshair, an auto-exposure reference window, and/or a white balance reference window for the visible state in the image.
Step 208, storing at least one of the processed cigarette packet images and the overlapped cigarette packet images;
and step 209, extracting the characteristic value of the tobacco bale image, and comparing the characteristic value with the items in the preset defect image database to determine whether the tobacco bale image meets the detection requirement and the defect type of the tobacco bale image which does not meet the detection requirement. The operation of extracting and comparing the characteristic values of the tobacco bale images can adopt the existing image processing algorithm, and the description is omitted.
In some embodiments, the detection method further comprises: and marking and adding the defective parts in the cigarette packet image.
In some embodiments, the detection method further comprises: identifying the bar code in the first supporting contact surface 71 of the cigarette packet in the second overturning position; and judging whether the identified bar codes are wrong or not, and rejecting the cigarette packet containing wrong bar codes according to a judgment result.
Thus, various embodiments of the present disclosure have been described in detail. Some details that are well known in the art have not been described in order to avoid obscuring the concepts of the present disclosure. It will be fully apparent to those skilled in the art from the foregoing description how to practice the presently disclosed embodiments.
Although some specific embodiments of the present disclosure have been described in detail by way of example, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the foregoing examples are for purposes of illustration only and are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes may be made in the above embodiments or equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the scope and spirit of the present disclosure. The scope of the present disclosure is defined by the appended claims.

Claims (13)

1. A tobacco bale outward appearance detection device which characterized in that includes:
the cigarette packet turning mechanism is configured to turn the cigarette packet in a first turning position to a second turning position, and a first supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet in the first turning position is vertical to a second supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet in the second turning position;
the industrial camera is positioned on the side of the conveying path of the cigarette packet and is configured to acquire, analyze and compare cigarette packet images of the first supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet in the second overturning position so as to determine whether the appearance of the cigarette packet in the cigarette packet images meets the detection requirement;
the removing mechanism is positioned on the side of the conveying path of the tobacco bale, positioned at the downstream of the tobacco bale turning mechanism and the industrial camera and configured to remove the tobacco bale;
and the controller is in signal connection with the industrial camera and the rejecting mechanism and is configured to enable the rejecting mechanism to reject the cigarette packets which do not meet the detection requirement according to the recognition result of the industrial camera.
2. The cigarette packet appearance detecting device according to claim 1, wherein the controller is connected to the industrial camera through a photocoupler.
3. The cigarette package appearance detection device according to claim 2, wherein the industrial camera includes a camera processor and a first photoelectric coupler, the first photoelectric coupler is electrically connected with the camera processor and is electrically connected with the power supply negative electrode and the command output end of the controller through an external trigger interface, respectively, the controller includes an internal circuit, a second photoelectric coupler, and an output circuit, the second photoelectric coupler is electrically connected with the internal circuit and the output circuit, respectively, the output circuit is electrically connected with a positive common terminal and includes the command output end of the controller electrically connected with the external trigger interface of the first photoelectric coupler.
4. The cigarette package appearance detection device according to claim 2, wherein the industrial camera includes a camera processor and a first photoelectric coupler, the first photoelectric coupler is electrically connected with the camera processor and is respectively electrically connected with the negative electrode of the power supply and the signal input end of the controller through an external trigger interface, the controller includes a processor and a second photoelectric coupler, the second photoelectric coupler is respectively electrically connected with the processor and the positive common end, and includes the signal input end of the controller electrically connected with the external trigger interface of the first photoelectric coupler.
5. The cigarette package appearance detection device according to claim 1, wherein the industrial camera includes:
the photographing module is configured to trigger cigarette packet image acquisition operation in each process step period;
the image processing module is in signal connection with the photographing module, is configured to perform at least one of color gain adjustment, white balance correction, saturation adjustment, color lookup table conversion and noise reduction on the cigarette packet image acquired by the photographing module, and converts the original format of the cigarette packet image into a bitmap format;
the image superposition analysis module is in signal connection with the image processing module and is configured to superpose at least one of a cross line, an automatic exposure reference window and a white balance reference window on the cigarette packet image processed by the image processing module so as to determine a region to be analyzed in the cigarette packet image;
the image storage module is in signal connection with the image superposition module and the image processing module and is configured to store at least one of the cigarette packet image processed by the image processing module and the cigarette packet image superposed by the image superposition module;
and the image judging module is in signal connection with the image storage module and is configured to extract the characteristic value of the cigarette packet image and compare the characteristic value with the items in the preset defect image database to determine whether the cigarette packet image meets the detection requirement and the defect type of the cigarette packet image which does not meet the detection requirement.
6. The cigarette package appearance detection device according to claim 5, wherein the industrial camera further comprises:
and the defect mark adding module is in signal connection with the image judging module and is configured to add marks to the defect parts in the cigarette packet image.
7. The cigarette package appearance detection device according to claim 1, further comprising:
the bar code recognizer is in signal connection with the controller and is configured to recognize a bar code in the first supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet in the second overturning position;
the controller is configured to judge whether the identified bar codes are wrong or not, and enable the eliminating mechanism to eliminate the cigarette packets containing wrong bar codes according to the judgment result.
8. The cigarette package appearance detection device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a display screen in signal connection with the industrial camera, configured to present an original image or a processed image of the cigarette packet.
9. A cigarette packet packaging machine characterized by comprising the cigarette packet appearance detection device according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
10. A detection method based on the cigarette packet appearance detection device according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized by comprising:
turning the cigarette packet in the first turning position to a second turning position, wherein a first supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet in the first turning position is vertical to a second supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet in the second turning position;
collecting, analyzing and comparing cigarette packet images of the first supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet at the second overturning position to determine whether the appearance of the cigarette packet in the cigarette packet images meets the detection requirement;
and removing tobacco packets which do not meet the detection requirements according to the identification result of the industrial camera.
11. The inspection method of claim 10, wherein the operation of acquiring, analyzing and comparing cigarette packet images of the first support contact surface of the cigarette packet in the second flipped position comprises:
loading and initializing a software development kit of the industrial camera;
calling an enumeration function to obtain a device list of the currently connected industrial camera;
performing device initialization on the industrial cameras in the device list;
causing the industrial camera to enter an operational mode and enabling the software development kit to receive images captured by the industrial camera;
triggering the tobacco bale image acquisition operation in each process step period through the industrial camera;
performing at least one of color gain adjustment, white balance correction, saturation adjustment, color lookup table conversion and noise reduction on the cigarette packet image acquired by the photographing module, and converting the original format of the cigarette packet image into a bitmap format;
superposing at least one of a cross line, an automatic exposure reference window and a white balance reference window on the processed cigarette packet image to determine a region to be analyzed in the cigarette packet image;
storing at least one of the processed cigarette packet image and the overlapped cigarette packet image;
and extracting the characteristic value of the cigarette packet image, and comparing the characteristic value with the items in the preset defect image database to determine whether the cigarette packet image meets the detection requirement and the defect type of the cigarette packet image which does not meet the detection requirement.
12. The detection method according to claim 11, further comprising:
and marking and adding the defective parts in the cigarette packet image.
13. The detection method according to claim 10, further comprising:
identifying the bar code in the first supporting contact surface of the cigarette packet at the second overturning position;
and judging whether the identified bar codes are wrong or not, and rejecting the cigarette packet containing wrong bar codes according to a judgment result.
