In addition, the embodiments of the present application described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings are exemplary and are only for the purpose of explaining the embodiments of the present application, and are not to be construed as limiting the present application.
The following disclosure provides many different embodiments or examples for implementing different features of the application. In order to simplify the disclosure of the present application, specific example components and arrangements are described below. Of course, they are merely examples and are not intended to limit the present application. Moreover, the present application may repeat reference numerals and/or letters in the various examples, such repetition is for the purpose of simplicity and clarity and does not in itself dictate a relationship between the various embodiments and/or configurations discussed.
Referring to fig. 1-3, a housing assembly 10 is disclosed in an embodiment of the present application, and the housing assembly 10 may be applied to an electronic device 26. The housing assembly 10 includes a middle shell 12, a rear cover 14, and a resilient member 16. The middle shell 12 includes a base plate 18 and a first sidewall 20 extending from an edge of the base plate 18. The rear cover 14 is coupled to the middle case 12. The rear cover 14 includes a cover plate 22 and a second sidewall 24 extending from an edge of the cover plate 22, the second sidewall 24 covering the first sidewall 20. The resilient member 16 is disposed between the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24. The elastic member 16 connects the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24.
In the case assembly 10 and the electronic device 26 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the elastic member 16 may fill a gap between the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24, and when the rear cover 14 is subjected to an external force, the elastic member 16 may reduce friction between the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24, and may reduce a deformation amount of the second sidewall 24, so that abnormal noise generated by the case assembly 10 and the electronic device 26 is reduced, and a user experience is improved.
In particular, the center housing 12 is a carrier for the electronic device 26, and the components of the electronic device 26 may be mounted on the center housing 12. For example, the main circuit board, the battery, and other components of the electronic device 26 may be mounted on the middle case 12. The middle shell 12 may be formed using one or more pieces. For example, the middle shell 12 is made of plastic, and the middle shell 12 is formed by injection molding, such that the substrate 18 and the first sidewall 20 are an integral structure. As another example, the material of the first sidewall 20 is plastic, the material of the substrate 18 is aluminum alloy, and the substrate 18 and the first sidewall 20 can be formed by an in-mold injection molding process.
The outer contour of the middle shell 12 may be substantially in the shape of a rounded rectangle or the like, so that the electronic device 26 is also in the shape of a rounded rectangle. It will be appreciated that the center housing 12 is generally of an irregular configuration in order to allow the center housing 12 to better carry the internal components of the electronic device 26. For example, the middle case 12 may be formed with a receiving groove for receiving a battery in order to mount the battery. For another example, to mount the main circuit board, the middle case 12 may be formed with a groove conforming to the shape of the main circuit board.
The base plate 18 of the middle case 12 has a substantially plate shape, and the specific shape and structure of the base plate 18 are not limited thereto. The first sidewall 20 is annular and is disposed around the substrate 18.
The rear cover 14 is a cover of the electronic device 26, and the rear cover 14 can shield the internal parts of the electronic device 26, so that the electronic device 26 is more attractive. For example, the outer surface of the rear cover 14 may be colored red, black, blue, or the like. The rear cover 14 may be formed using one or more components. For example, the material of the rear cover 14 is plastic, and the rear cover 14 may be formed by an injection molding process such that the cover plate 22 and the second sidewall 24 are an integral structure. For another example, the material of the second sidewall 24 is plastic, the material of the cover plate 22 is aluminum alloy, and the cover plate 22 and the second sidewall 24 can be formed by an in-mold injection molding process. The cover plate 22 has a substantially plate shape, and the specific shape and structure of the cover plate 22 are not limited thereto. The second sidewall 24 is annular, and the second sidewall 24 surrounds the first sidewall 20.
The elastic member 16 has a certain elasticity. Alternatively, the elastic member 16 may be elastically deformed by an external force. In addition, to reduce the friction between the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24, the elastic member 16 may be made of a material having a low friction coefficient.
In one example, the elastic member 16 includes gel. In this way, the elastic member 16 is easily formed, and the manufacturing cost of the housing assembly 10 can be reduced. Further, the glue is formed by curing water-soluble glue, which can make the elastic member 16 easily fixed on the first sidewall 20 and/or the second sidewall 24, and reduce the manufacturing cost of the housing assembly 10.
Of course, in other embodiments, the elastic member 16 is adhered to the first sidewall 20 and/or the second sidewall 24 by means of adhesive.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the electronic device 26 may include a display 28 and the housing assembly 10, the display 28 being disposed on the middle shell 12.
The electronic device 26 may be any of various types of computer system equipment that is mobile or portable and performs wireless communications. Specifically, the electronic device 26 may be a mobile phone or smart phone (e.g., an iPhone (TM) based, Android (TM) based phone), a Portable gaming device (e.g., a Nintendo DS (TM), a PlayStation Portable (TM), a Game Advance (TM), an iPhone (TM)), a laptop, a PDA, a Portable Internet appliance, a music player and data storage device, other handheld devices and headsets such as watches, in-ear headphones, pendant, headphones, etc., and other wearable devices (e.g., a headset such as electronic glasses, electronic clothing, electronic bracelets, electronic necklaces, electronic tattoos, electronic devices, or smart watches).
The electronic device 26 may also be any of a number of electronic devices including, but not limited to, cellular phones, smart phones, other wireless communication devices, personal digital assistants, audio players, other media players, music recorders, video recorders, cameras, other media recorders, radios, medical devices, vehicle transportation equipment, computers, programmable remote controllers, laptop computers, desktop computers, printers, netbook computers, personal digital assistants, Portable Multimedia Players (PMPs), moving picture experts group (MPEG-1 or MPEG-2) audio layer 3(MP3) players, portable medical devices, and digital cameras and combinations thereof.
In some cases, the electronic device 26 may perform a variety of functions (e.g., playing music, displaying video, storing pictures, and receiving and sending telephone calls).
It is to be noted that in the description of the present application, the terms "first" and "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implying any number of indicated technical features. Thus, a feature defined as "first" or "second" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more features. In the description of the present application, "a plurality" means two or more unless specifically limited otherwise.
Referring to fig. 4, in some embodiments, the first sidewall 20 is formed with a first engaging structure 30, and the first engaging structure 30 includes a first engaging surface 32. The second sidewall 24 is formed with a second engaging structure 34, and the second engaging structure 34 includes a second engaging surface 36. The first engaging surface 32 engages with the second engaging surface 36 to connect the middle case 12 and the rear cover 14, and the elastic member 16 is disposed between the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36.
Thus, the middle shell 12 and the rear cover 14 are connected in a clamping manner, so that the middle shell 12 and the rear cover 14 are more convenient to disassemble and assemble. Since the engaging force is usually formed between the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36, the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36 may generate abnormal noise due to friction with each other. Therefore, the elastic member 16 is provided between the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36, so that friction between the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36 can be reduced, thereby reducing the generation of abnormal noise and improving user experience.
Specifically, the number of the first engaging structures 30 may be multiple, and multiple first engaging structures 30 are arranged at intervals along the circumferential direction of the first side wall 20. For example, the number of the first engaging structures 30 is 4, 5, 6, or the like. The first engaging structures 30 located in the same direction are disposed at equal intervals. Similarly, the number of the second engaging structures 34 may be multiple, and multiple second engaging structures 34 are arranged at intervals along the circumference of the second sidewall 24, as shown in fig. 6.
Further, the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36 may be flat surfaces, and for example, the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36 may be horizontal surfaces or inclined surfaces. In the present embodiment, the first engagement surface 32 faces downward and the second engagement surface 36 faces upward, so that the rear cover 14 is prevented from being separated from the middle case 12 in the vertical direction.
In the present application, the term "up" means that, when the electronic device 26 is placed horizontally and the display screen 28 faces the side away from the ground, the side away from the ground is up and the side facing the ground is down.
In some embodiments, the elastic member 16 is fixedly connected to the first engaging surface and/or the second engaging surface 36. Alternatively, the elastic member 16 is fixed to the first engaging surface 32; alternatively, the elastic member 16 is fixed to the second engaging surface 36; alternatively, the elastic member 16 is fixed to the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36. When the elastic member 16 is fixed to the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36, the number of the elastic members 16 is plural, and the elastic member 16 fixed to the first engaging surface 32 and the elastic member 16 fixed to the second engaging surface 36 are separate members.
The elastic member 16 is fixed on the first opening and closing surface and/or the second engaging surface 36, so that the position of the elastic member 16 is fixed, and the elastic member 16 is prevented from falling off during the process of assembling the middle shell 12 and the rear cover 14. As discussed above, the elastic member 16 may be formed by curing glue, and thus, in one example, glue may be applied to the first opening and closing surface, and the elastic member 16 may be formed after the glue is cured, and the elastic member 16 may be fixed to the first opening and closing surface.
Referring to fig. 5, in some embodiments, the first engaging structure 30 is formed with a locking groove 38, the second engaging structure 34 is formed with a locking block 40, and the locking block 40 is locked in the locking groove 38. In this manner, the middle shell 12 is conveniently connected with the rear cover 14. Of course, in other embodiments, the first engaging structure 30 is formed with the latch 40 and the second engaging structure 34 is formed with the latch slot 38. That is, in the present application, one of the first engaging structure 30 and the second engaging structure 34 is formed with a slot 38, and the other is formed with a latch 40, and the latch 40 is engaged in the slot 38.
Referring to fig. 5, in some embodiments, the first engaging structure 30 includes a first side surface 42, and the first side surface 42 is connected to the first engaging surface 32. The second engaging structure 34 includes a second side surface 44 facing the first side surface 42, and the second side surface 44 is connected to the second engaging surface 36. An elastic member 16 is disposed between the first side 42 and the second side 44.
After the rear cover 14 is assembled with the middle shell 12, under the action of an external force, the first side surface 42 and the second side surface 44 can be in contact with each other and rub against each other, so that abnormal noise is generated, and therefore, the elastic member 16 is disposed between the first side surface 42 and the second side surface 44, so that the first side surface 42 and the second side surface 44 can be prevented from being in direct contact with each other, thereby reducing the generation of abnormal noise and improving user experience.
In the present embodiment, the first side surface 42 and the second side surface 44 are vertical surfaces. Alternatively, the first side 42 and the second side 44 extend from the bottom to the top.
Further, the elastic member 16 completely fills the gap between the first side 42 and the second side 44. In this way, when the second sidewall 24 is subjected to an external force, the elastic element 16 can limit the movement space of the second sidewall 24, thereby reducing the deformation amount of the second sidewall 24, reducing the impact force of the second sidewall 24 on the first sidewall 20, and reducing the generation of abnormal sound.
It should be noted that the elastic member 16 may be disposed between the first side surface 42 and the second side surface 44, and between the first engaging surface 32 and the second engaging surface 36, as shown in fig. 3.
Referring to fig. 7, the present application further discloses a method for manufacturing the housing assembly 10, the method includes the steps of:
s10, providing a middle shell 12, wherein the middle shell 12 includes a base plate 18 and a first sidewall 20 extending from an edge of the base plate 18;
s20, providing a rear cover 14, the rear cover 14 including a cover plate 22 and a second side wall 24 extending from an edge of the cover plate 22;
s30, forming the elastic member 16 on the first sidewall 20 and/or the second sidewall 24;
s40, assembling the middle shell 12 with the rear cover 14 such that the second sidewall 24 covers the first sidewall 20 and the elastic member 16 is located between the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24 and connects the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24.
In this manner, the housing assembly 10 is easily manufactured and formed, and the elastic member 16 can reduce abnormal noise generated by the housing assembly 10. Specifically, in step S30, the elastic member 16 may be formed on the first sidewall 20, the elastic member 16 may be formed on the second sidewall 24, or the elastic members 16 may be formed on both the first sidewall 20 and the second sidewall 24. In one example, the back cover 14 may be disposed on a rotary table that may be rotated to apply glue at various locations on the second sidewall 24, forming the resilient member 16 after the glue is cured.
In the description herein, reference to the description of the terms "certain embodiments," "one embodiment," "some embodiments," "illustrative embodiments," "examples," "specific examples," or "some examples" means that a particular feature, structure, material, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiment or example is included in at least one embodiment or example of the application. In this specification, schematic representations of the above terms do not necessarily refer to the same embodiment or example. Furthermore, the particular features, structures, materials, or characteristics described may be combined in any suitable manner in any one or more embodiments or examples.
